I feel very safe and comfortable here. At first I was a little nervous just because of the surrounding area not being the greatest sometimes, but this facility seems very secure. They have over 50 cameras and I was told they’re getting even more. The locks they use are better than padlocks, and they just seem like they’re taking extra measures wherever possible to make sure they are being the safest option for their customers. I feel at peace knowing my belongings will be secure and that the management cares about their customers. The property manager there is the nicest person you’ll ever meet. I hate that I’ve forgotten his name.. he has blue eyes and his name starts with J if that helps! I also wasn’t able to get into the facility until the day after I started my lease, and was given a small discount for that day that I wasn’t using my unit. Overall, this is a very safe place and the management is very considerate and kind. Would recommend to others.

Im so unsure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from because everyone I know with a unit here has nothing but problems. It was a huge hassle when I initially moved in, had to visit the office 4 times just to finally get into the unit and then they forgot to give me a lock so had to return for that. In the year since, they have raised my rent 4 times and they are now trying to raise it again $40 more dollars starting December 2021. Break ins all the time and people living inside the facility. I would give the advice to choose any other storage company if you have an option. Customer service is unhelpful.

I will tell you what!! Amanda here the manager is absolutely fantastic! So a little bit about my back ground I worked at Morton’s restaurant & have had 2 restaurants! Point being since I have always been in the hospitality imdistry, this lady knocked out of the park! So accommodating, under standard and kind!!! So thank you very much for your willing to work with me in the time and staying over a little for me! I look forward to storing my stuff with you guys.

Used this company for college dorm storage for the summer and even though they will prorate you if you move in a couple days early, they will not prorate if you move out earlier in the month. Will pay $97 September 1st and we will be moved out by the 5th and they will not prorate or reimburse the days we will not be using the space. Dont use them if you dont want to be ripped off.

Employees are very polite and responsive.The outdoor storage is not secure. My RV has been compromised on three occasions. There has been attempted break ins, the license plate was stolen, the catalytic converter was stolen, and our personal belongings were stolen from the storage compartments.And because you as a renter provide your own insurance in order to rent from Store Space, they have no obligation to compensate me at all. I’m estimating all this theft and damage will cost me from $3,000 to $5,000.Here’s the kicker....... after paying them for six months of storage, I actually received a email notification that my monthly rate would be increased by $10.00.UPDATE -No one from management has ever reached out to me to address my issues.

The people in the office are great; friendly and professional. I currently rent a parking spot at this facility and choose this location due to it’s convenience, price and hours of access.This morning, I arrived at 6:50AM to pick up the vehicle I have stored there. When I entered my gate code, the screen read “Sorry, Out of Service”. At first, I thought maybe it’s due to DST or they made a mistake when setting the system up. I waited until a little after 7 and tried again. Same thing; only this time I also noticed the time on the screen said Sunday 9:36PM. I’m now thinking, maybe it’s just the way they set up my access. Then another car pulled up to the gate and they couldn’t get in either. Then a truck pulled up and tried getting through one of the access doors; denied. This is interfering with my business and needs to be fixed.Keep in mind - The hours of access are posted clearly, both on the website and the office door - 6:00AM-10:00PM - 7 DaysIf they are able to provide a valid explanation and get this fixed, I will change my rating to 5 stars.

This unit has been cleaned and cleared out from last Saturday. I spoke with Amanda who said she is the store manager and she would check the unit Saturday morning because I was going to be done after hours. I called again today and spoke with her and she stated she would check the unit and send out an email confirming the unit has been cleaned out. I am paid up until 2/28/2021, there should be no invoice whatsoever. I have called the store now 5 times with no response. I will be leaving this email for paper trail due to not receiving proper customer service at this point.This is the exact email I sent today. I have called this store multiple times and only got one answer redirected to customer care. Why am I receiving another invoice for March when the unit is empty and I have spoken to the manager twice now saying she would send a confirmation email but has yet to do so? I am paid up until the 28th but what if my pay date were today. You guys would be trying to charge me. This is ridiculous and the customer service at this point has been terrible. I will not be using this service again. Cheaper prices in the beginning but at what cost? Now I am on hold again for the customer care and they dont do anything but take notes on the account and have the manager call which obviously I cant do myself. Never again, go elsewhere.

Bobby Rogers exhibits excellent customer service. He helped me out when there was water in my unit. I was quickly switched to another unit without any problems. He was sincere when dealing with me. I would highly recommend working with him if you have the chance . Compared to other companies I am involved with, the service was by far the best.Thanks,Joni Chapman

If I could give zero stars.. I absolutely would.. first of all... Its so confusing trying to find your unit with the number system being all weird and no kind of signs Posted for direction... And they lock the outside gate at 10pm and if you lose track of time and are even one minute late getting back out... You will be locked in and there is no security guard on site and also the phone numbers on the business card just tell you its after hours and hangs up on you. I had to call the police who called the fire department to let me out and I tried to get out on my own at 10:11 pm. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT

It would be a whole lot better if the man living in unit 1134 wasnt blocking the entire aisle with all of his belongings while having a coffee pot and microwave plugged in and stereo blasting then getting an attitude with other tenants who had to move the stuff and then he moved it right back into the aisle so we had to say something AGAIN. I am quite certain the lease specifically states you cant live in your unit or have appliances plugged in in them (at least that is specifically written in all other storage unit leases Ive ever seen)You will find contact info under my husbands name as that is who rented the unit. This is the worst storage company I have ever seen. I open up the door and notice rows of my things are missing immediately. Im a collector. I put my things in a secure storage to feel better about preserving my things and instead stolen from by the very people I trust to keep my things safe. I talked to the lady up front who advised me that since the unit didnt appear like the lock was picked that I had to have done it and I could file a report with them and the police but nothing would be done since nothing appeared tampered with. Conveniently enough the only camera out in the building was the one in the area of my unit. When I asked for her to run footage, she claimed that everyone comes in and out with stuff so how would she know. Im so disgusted and sick with how this was handled. I advised a person while leaving to not get a unit here and their reply was that I was the FOURTH person to say something about that. I have all my keys secure. There is no way anyone got in my unit unless it was someone who works there.

If i could give negavive stars, i would give -100! I rented this storage unit yesterday online not realizing i still had to go in to get a lock and stuff, so i called and spoke to Amanda (who was nice enough to stay after) and she waited until i got there so i could get my unit. I go there, get the lock, she doesnt walk me to the unit to show it to me. She shows me on her screen. It took me a few to figure out where my unit was. Once i found it, we open it and there was a HOMELESS person living in it!!! Now, this is a SECURED building, WITH CAMERAS! AND SECURITY!!! You have to have a code to get in... so, unless he has rented the unit, which he cant because i did. And they were supposed to have cleaned it before i moved in!! There were clothes, mail, a lamp, trash and ACTUAL HUMAN FECES!!! I tried calling the 800 number and was on hold for 15 mins then they hung up on me. Then i sent a message in the chat online and asked for a call, and no one called. Then we called this morning to the corporate office they were rude! I am goin to to turn in the keys. And i will be reporting it to the health department. This is unacceptable!*** Update ***I have since been in contact with Michelle, a higher up manager. And she has been the only person to apologize to me about what happened. She was sincere, understanding, and humble. She tried to assure me that things would be dealt with. I do hope they are. I hope the company gets managers at that store. I hope that store gets whipped into shape. I hope NO ONE has to go through what i did. It is so completely unfair that i even had to! But, such is life... i think yall need to retrain your employees in customer service and have Michelle teach the course!!

I dont do this often, but something in my heart is telling me to write this.Please understand, Im writing on a different email so I wont be identified, I dont want any backlash coming to me, but I have to be honest.I have been in this place for a bit now, and I have noticed a few things.I would like to say that the young lady that you have up front is not that great. She can be good at times, other times not so good. And all I have seen her do is sit at that desk and be condescending to certain type of people, but great to other type of people which I find a problem.The facility wasnt clean as could be, and again just sits at the desk.But since you have hired the African American gentleman there, things have been much better. He is professional, empathetic, listens, try his hardest to take care of problems that comes his way. I have been in the office a few times when customers have been out right rude to him, and he is stern, professional and takes care of the problem.Not only is he good at the desk, I see him out there cleaning, walking around, conversating with people making us feel welcome. He is the utter complete package.Im telling you this because most of us that have our things there talk, and a lot want to say something, but afraid to for she is there talking over him on most occasions, and seems to have the final decision on things in there as she has stated it is her store.I have also over heard some customers call him that n and kind of ironic that those type of people are the ones that she seems to adore and treat kindly.For the reason of the you ladys actions is why 1 star is taken, the other 4 are for the African American gentleman.Im hoping that the district manager sees this and praises the gentleman who I think his name is Bob. He deserves it. He works hard, he shows that he is dedicated and cares about the people in the facility. Please let him know that we, the customers, appreciate him.I will let others know if this method works, there are others that would like to show their appreciation for him.

I only give Amanda the office manager 5 stars because she is amazing with getting things done and taking care of your needs. She is very professional and sweet. The facility isnt bad just think its very humid for being climate controlled. Also when it comes to having a claim through their insurance department, they are slow at notifying you after you had most of your possesions ruined. Its been since July i had a claim and havent heard tfrom the insurance people. No furniture to sit on or eat at and my old furniture was only 2 years old at the time

I was having some issues with my account, I called to speak with a district manager, but never received a call back. PS. SO I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH BOBBY AT STORE SPACE SOUTH, HE EXPLAINED TO ME WHAT WAS GOING ON AND HE EVEN WENT INTO MY ACCOUNT TO BETTER HELP ME UNDERSTAND AFTER SPEAKING WITH BOBBY I WAS VERY SATISFIED, AND I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT HE NEEDED TO BE IN MANAGEMENT, HE GETS A 5STAR REVIEW FROM ME. Ive used many storage places in the past so I kinda thought I knew the drill, but it wasnt that way at all here. I was greeted by all three people who was working. I was having issues getting my number to work, no problem Amanda took care of that right away. Amanda also made sure I had the right lock and she made sure I new how to use it. No one acted like we was bothering them. I couldnt believe how clean and bright everything was. They also made sure I got the best deal possible. I was stressed and on a time limit, so it was a pleasure dealing with everyone there.

Dont move your stuff in unless you want it stolen with a million excuses that all sum up to them not doing anything about it! They just let people live inside the units too. The whole place has always sketched me out. Went back in today to close the unit and she chose to put words in my mouth saying I never wanted to call the police when I specifically asked her to call them the day before when she threatened to call them. Amanda should be fired. She had the audacity to call me a liar and laugh when I claimed my stuff had been stolen. Where do you hire these condescending people from?

Seriously dont do it. My stuff was stolen right out of my unit, the office said the cameras are all out so they cant pull footage, they told me even if I call the police nothing will be done about it. Then if they hadnt done enough, had the audacity to kick me out. So, like I said, dont do it. Worst mistake of my life.

I really wanted to like this place. It is a nice facility and new but the bathrooms reek of cigarettes. It was awful and me & my 2 daughters couldnt stand it. They only have 2 carts available if the front office is open. Carts are allowed to be checked out because people wont return them. But my biggest complaint is not that even though its irritating and makes it really hard and inconvenient to move your items in.Whenever I call them I am redirected to a call center instead of the front office staff, only to be told they will email the manager. But the manager never responds. I have called them because I am a new tenant of one of their units and online it states there is a free months rent when you sign up. So I did & then have recieved an invoice for a full months rent when I have only been there maybe 2 weeks now? I have contacted the office & asked to speak with a manager twice & never get a response. I was told that I would be called back regardless by one of the staff, which did not happen....and this is after driving to the office & speaking with the staff in person again, but I have had no such luck with being contacted back even though I asked them to call & states theyre welcome to also leave me a voicemail or even email me.On top of that I have been consistently moving things into my unit & the front office is closed 4 times in one day when I was there to drop items off and this was during regular business hours, such as 10am-3pm. Im not telling anyone to not rent here but my experience so far has not been the best. Needless to say I am now looking for another storage unit. But the positive is that the units are huge and clean so I loved that & regardless of the bad experience the ladies in the front office when Ive spoken with them about my concerns have been kind & understanding.

The perfect place for climate-controlled storage on Indys south side.the facility is nearly new, clean and convenient.the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.the signup was quick, easy and without hidden charges.we needed climate-controlled storage for our food pantry last year when we discovered Store Space Self Storage. the was no research or hesitation when it was time for us to rent another unit this year.

This place is an absolute joke. Rented a storage unit forced me to buy a lock that wasnt mentioned when I rented the unit online. Then went to look at it didnt end up liking it tried to get my money back for the lock and they wont.. literally place is a joke I walk out of the office to the unit didnt even open the lock still wont give me the money back.
