Guess it’s back to the black owned location for me. 30 minutes late for a return and the staff chose to bill me for an entire additional day. Guess all those storage units aren’t making enough money, had to squeeze another $19.95 out of my pocket. This is not how to keep customers coming back. On a positive note, the new Ford Transit was great!

Second time theyve gotten rid of our reserved truck before we arrived. Set our reservation for 9, they changed it to 7 and when we showed up at 7:45 its gone even though their site says its fine to be a bit late. Absolutely ridiculous customer service.

I am very disappointed in the customer service I received today. I had an appointment for a Hitch installation @11am. I arrived 10 minutes early. I was told 2-3 hours. I paid for an Uber home (16$) and an Uber back 3 hours later (25$). When I arrived my vehicle had just been loaded and I was told another hour wait. The general manager gave me dirty looks and treated me as if something is wrong with ME for wondering why nobody reached out to tell me they were behind schedule. Respect & communication go a long way!

Set up an appointment for tow package install. I called the day of to confirm and they inform me they don’t even do installs at the location the representative set me up with.

The wait was long, as most U-Hauls are, but the 2 ladies working the customer service desks were helpful, happy, and friendly. 😊

Listen, to whoever your scheduling manager is. Your staff is amazing, but you need to do a better job. If you think there shouldnt be at least 3 people (non-training) there on Fri-Sun, you need to work it alone on the PM shift. I shouldnt have to wait over 1.5 hrs standing to return a vehicle or buy a box. Ridiculous.

Website told me there was only one box left of the type I needed and I should hurry. I paid for the box and listed the pickup for the following afternoon. When I arrived there was no box. Inventory was incorrect. Issueing the credit was clumsy and too lengthy. Had to go half way across town to get what I needed. Not a normal experience with U-haul.

Friendly staff, clean store, comfortable waiting area, fast, efficient and reasonably priced. I had a trailer hitch installed and I was very impressed. I would highly recommend.

I have been standing in line for 30min with 7 other people in front of me. There is only one person at the desk who is clearly new and does not know what she is doing. Avoid this Uhale if you can. Not worth your time.

I have a storage here pretty decent price but lil small I suppose but nice people even though booking online was complicated when I got to store because they were sold out of trucks everywhere so they gave me a 26 instead of a 15 like I requested and I had to pay $10 extra you guys need more trucks and the truck they gave me seemed like the wheel wanted to come off of it so raggedy..... Please fix these trucks Im just saying could be a lawsuit if someone driving and something like tire came off and its injuries... Other than push harder guys& corporate

Affordable and friendly employees

The prices are OK but there’s other U-Haul’s locations that are cheaper. Also other U-Haul’s that I’ve used for storage usually have a deal for the first month. When I went in I had a lock on my storage because I guess my automatic payment didn’t set up like I thought he did. I know that’s my fault but they never contacted me by phone, mail or email to let me know that I had a balance. While speaking with the workers they asked if my email was set up I stated yes and they said usually the send something out or mail it. Which I know from renting previously at a different location. I informed them that they didn’t and they just looked at each other and said nothing. They have a monitor Where you can see who’s late on their bill and don’t have access to their storage. There was more than 25% of the people they didn’t have access. Which lets me know that they’re not doing something right. As I walk down the hallway all I seen was red tags on peoples storages. There’s no way they’re communicating with people like they state they are. Also there is always trash that people have left boxes, furniture, and whatever else.

It was very horrible when I first came into the Lawrence location Ms.Lauren appeared to be friendly she was already frustrated with the customer on the other end of the phone long story short my code did not work u had another young lady that tried to use her code it was denied just like mine u haul in Lawrence need to do better on top of that they have an after hour number to call a James owen in GM he dont return calls therefore I have a uhaul truck full of my belongings and nowhere to put them mind you I reserved this since last week for July 12 so bad for business dont rent their

Ordered and used a ten foot truck. Service and staff were quick and friendly.

Went up and got a truck and first off they wouldnt take my card so i had to pay cash, had to put 100.00 deposit down for it and they told me that i would get a refund back when i brought truck back so got done useing truck and went and put more gas in it then what was in it and still to this day i have not gotten my refund back from it. So not real happy about that then went back up to get a small pickup truck the following week and they didnt have one so the guy i talked to told me to go to another store to pick one up so drove all the way up there just to find out they wouldnt let me have it because they wouldnt take cash on it. It had to be on a card only. So it was a waisted trip..

Above & beyond the average uhaul business anywhere. Owen, General Manager is so very attentive to the needs of his customers in every manner.

I called this morning to reserve a storage, i was told my unit was ready. For the price of 84.95. When i showed up. I was told my price was $99.95 when clearly i had the unit reserved and my card was on file already!!! Really bad managment !!!!

No issues with the rental. It served its purpose.

I have never waited so long for service! I will use the Shadeland location or Penske in the future.

Customer service was not up to par at the Indianapolis Washington Street location...did not appreciate having to go to this store location to pick up what the first store didnt have even after making a reservation...why accept the reservation knowing this store did not have what was needed for the truck in the first place...delay delay not happy!
