If you cherish your belongings and have to store them for any reason this place is not in your best interest. In 2006 I rented 2 units at the Mount Baldy Riverside Ca location, unit number 1011 and a climate control unit because we moved out of state to Oklahoma. Over the several months my brother and I went back to get stuff out of the unit 1011 (a 10x20 unit) packed full. Then I experienced a back injury and didnt return for 2 years. Then we went back and got 2 loads at once, and was able to downsize into a 10x10 unit number 6004. But as we got to the front wall of unit 1011 we discovered that the whole 3.5 years our stuff had been in this unit it was being water damaged by 2 water sprinkler heads pointing directly on the exterior wall twice a day for hours at a time the manager said at the time ruining $$1000s of dollars in personal property of my entire families. Secure Care District manager rejected any responsibility and said to turn it in on my home owners insurance. That secure care would not pay my claim. Then in 2014, they called knowing I was not local asking to gain entry into our unit 6004 because of a piece of the wall between this unit and a climate control unit had fallen. When I rejected the notion of sending the keys to a family member in the Riverside area or secure care, and they could fix it from the empty climate control unit. They did, by taking the wall down exposing my familys belongs to fire, theft, damage or numerous other things. For how long, who knows because I just found this out around May 14 or 15th that is what they done because they didnt ask permission from me. To remove a portion of the back wall. It was supposed to have been a fallen piece. But I found out when we were just out in May 14-20 that the unit had been burglarized sometime later by a tenate of 6003 and the unit 6004 I occupied by sometime removing panels of sheet metal of the wall and stealing thousands of dollars in personal property. How do I know this my wife, the current manager and myself seen where the wall was removed and screwed back together with different hardware and damage to piece of angele metal along the floor was damaged when they stole large items. And if you dont want to accept this cenerio then we have to go with the other, family and friends of employees of secure care had a hard in it. And that is not what I believe or want to being that when I filed my police report I was told by the responding officers that they had responded to burglary of units nine times fro. 2017 to current day. Even though I was told by current manager that she had been there 6years and nothing like this had ever happened. Not true. Im going to fight this time for what is right, being I have been paying for renters insurance through them.

My sister has actually had 3 storages here for a little over 3 years. She and myself have had to have an open line of communication with the employees and the manager for various personal reasons and the fact that my sister was often out of town. During her entire time as a customer, she was treated wonderfully. Alva, the store manager and the rest of the staff are professional, courteous, informative, concerned, and welcoming to the office. I am speaking on behalf of my sister because she recently passed, but would share this exact sentiment. I speak for myself as well, because I have dealt with them often as well to handle her belongings. They have shown much appreciation to potential customers for inquiring and the regular customers for being customers. This is the attitude Ive seen with others whenever I was at the facility. Its also very clean and well maintained.👍🏼
