My sister was moving to this area from out of state and needed a large, safe, clean and secure place to store her household items. Nick, the manager worked with us and kept us well informed of what unit we had and availability if we wanted an upgrade, which we didn’t need since the unit we had was plenty big enough to store all the household items. Excellent customer service and we feel very comfortable leaving the household items at Storage at Exit 24.

Been to this location about 3 times and each time has had more than helpful staff and quick service. We got a hitch put on our subaru outback a few months ago and we appreciated the installer going over everything with us and making sure we knew what our car was capable of.

Had a real hard time returning my trailer after hours. Not this places fault however, Uhaul really needs to fix their app and website. Had to wait 30+ minutes on hold with customer service to get this checked in. Otherwise seems like a good place, dedicated to Uhaul only and the selection seems large.

Worst customer service at any Uhaul in Jackson county. Usually the overweight guy sitting at the counter says he’s busy but nobody is there. He seems like he hates his job and his co-workers are the same. Ive been buying shipping supplies from them for over 8 years. Today I walked out and will never go back. There’s plenty of other Uhaul stores around with good customer service to buy from I recommend you do the same.

Made a reservation with my card online and 35 minutes later I showed up at the site where the guy was immediately rude to me and said you know its 3 minutes til 7 right?.. So you cant move in tonight. His exact words. I wanted to say, well I cant help the fact that may boyfriend of almost 4 years tells me last minute that I have to move out. Instead I nodded my head. Then, the same guy claimed they didnt have any of the units I reserved available. Not only am I distraught from my day but I was treated poorly in their store. Id like to take my business else.

I received my boxes on time. They even went the extra mile and brought back a piece of furniture that was accidently left in one of the Uboxes. It can be quite difficult to get ahold of them is the only downside.

This location went above and beyond to help me change the drop off location for my auto transport, after I had several inquiries unanswered by other locations as well as trying over the phone. Their customer service is exemplary and i would use this location again if i werent only in passing!

The absolute worst uhaul rental place you will ever have to deal with. The people here are completely rude and unhelpful. Know that just cause you make reservations doesnt mean they keep them. And come up with any excuse to cancel.

I called customer service and filed a complaint about the horribly rude treatment that I received. I used the online, contactless rental process. THAT part was flawless. Upon return, I followed all the online instructions for rental return (including where to park) and received confirmation I’d completed check-in and all I needed to do was drop the key in the key box outside the store. That is when things went south. The slot was too narrow for the key fob. I didn’t have a mask because I didn’t anticipate going in, so I pulled my sweatshirt over my face and went in. I immediately said, “Sorry for not having a mask. I just need to return the key and it wouldn’t fit in the key box.” That is when I was told I need to pull the truck around to the rental return check-in and get checked in. I explained that I already checked in online and I just need to return the key. I was told again I needed to pull into rental return. This was boggling. Aside from the key not fitting into the slot, I should have been done. I went out and pulled the truck to the side (rather than leave it in the spot I had to upload showing where I parked it). When I did so, one of the guys from inside said he would get me checked in. Confused, (and in a confused manner) I said that I already did all that and uploaded all the pictures and answered all the questions online for contactless rental. That is when the man questioned my tone and asked why I was talking that way (I wasn’t yelling, name calling, or gesturing in any aggressive or mean manner. I was holding my sweatshirt over my face).When I told him it was irritating that I’d already done all this and the website said I was done, he sarcastically said, “well I’m sorry for making you drive a few extra feet.” I was done then. I put the key on the plastic dock between the hood and windshield, told him that his remark “was pretty sh*++¥, man” and walked away. He called after me and basically said “you started it.” I arrived in a good mood. I became puzzled and didn’t understand the redundancy, but I wasn’t rude, aggressive, or condescending. I wasn’t even angry. I was, absolutely, confused and mildly irritated. However, my confusion and irritation was met with sarcasm, condescension, and antagonism. It was very unprofessional. Rather than go into the store to complain (without a mask) I decided to call Customer Service. They confirmed that there was no need for anything other than leaving the key, that my irritation at the redundancy was understandable, and the treatment I received was uncalled for. I was told the store manager is required to contact me within 72 hours. We will see if that happens. **update- the manager never did contact me. I did see where the charges were dropped from my account, but I received no contact from the manager.

If there was a 0 I would leave that as a rating. Had a reservation for a truck and car carrier to move out of town. One week before the move U-haul cancels my reservation. No phone call, nothing but a email saying your reservation is canceled. To make matters worse they block you from even leaving feedback on their website because they canceled the reservation. Hands down they are one of the worst companies in America. Every time I have to use them, because there are so few alternatives, I come away disgusted. The people working in the stores have the worst customer service I have ever seen. Long wait times to do anything and their technology is so antiquated. They need some real competition to put them in their place.Horrible, horrible, horrible business. Use Penske or Budget for your truck rentals. Put these people out of business.

I had scheduled a pick up for a 10 foot van, once I got there they took my i.d. asked if I wanted coverage. Then out of no where he just said I dont feel comfortable renting to you. I just asked why and he said I dont have to disclose that information, you need to leave. I had even rented there over four times before this. Terrible customer service, and very rude about the whole process

In the beginning I thought it was just me but as new customers came in he treated them the same and he was on a call and that person also received a piece of what we all recieved! Over all Poot customer service! I understand there may be bad nights or someone is going through a rough day but don’t take it out on the ones that keep the business going! Very sad!

I really like to use this place because of their vehicle availability. However this time was unnerving. I believe all employees are supposed to wear masks, as well as customers. One employee was not, and the other could barely keep his on. One customer was allowed in without a mask. We are supposed to be protecting one another.

Summary: Poor customer service & the new manager is totally unsuited for this type of work. Some employees here are good & trying hard.I reserved a car transport trailer to move a classic car on uhaul.com & picked a convenient neighborhood location. Before my reserved time, I was switched to this location. I drove for 2 hrs & arrived a little early. Waited in line for a bit & then it all started to go wrong. U-Hauls systems were down so they couldnt take a credit card, then was told that the rental fees were going to be twice what I had expected. I asked to see the charges & have them explained, without luck. Was also trying to purchase a roll of shrink wrap. So I was probably 30 min in at this point & starting to get quite frustrated. I raised my voice & Im sure I sounded very irritated, but I am 100% sure that I wasnt yelling. At one point, I said the charges should be $54.95 for the trailer, $14 for the insurance, & $16.95 for the wrap (which I picked up from where it was sitting). At that point, I dropped the wrap ~12 down onto the totes where it had been sitting. The systems were still down & we werent getting anywhere because they couldnt take my credit card. I asked about paying cash & the manager said no. I was told I should just come back tomorrow, & replied that wasnt an option as I had just driven for two hours. I asked if I could pay at another location & come back for the trailer - No. I asked if they could find me a trailer at a neighborhood dealer where they could take payment - None available. I asked again about paying cash - No. The lady at the counter asked for my drivers license (I had already submitted it online & said so, but she couldnt access it cause the systems were down.) Since I was standing over 6 feet away & there were totes stacked to prevent me from getting closer, I flicked/tossed my drivers license like a playing card. It landed within reach of her. Then it really went bad! The manager started yelling at me to stop throwing things or he was going to throw me out of the store. I backed up further & raised my hands with palms out thinking to myself that this guy was off his rocker. Finally, the assistant manager (Marlon?) returned & asked what was going on, & was told about the systems being down. I asked again about paying cash. He took one look at me, asked what I was renting, & said take the mans money, he obviously isnt on anything while making a motion like he was taking a drag on a joint. From there it was just a few more minutes while they got all of my information & took my money (I did end up getting the $ for the wrap refunded). They also figured out that the reason the charges were twice what I thought they should be is that when they had switched the reservation to the new location, they had moved the pick-up time to 15 minutes earlier. This meant that I was being charged for 24 hours and 15 minutes, so the system viewed it as 2 days instead of 1 day. The return of the trailer went okay, but the guy doing the returns was rude. I said to him, Hi, the guys inside you could help me with returning a trailer. He snipped back at me, Well I dont have space, so you are just going to have to wait. I would suggest that something along the lines of Im just finishing up this truck, and will be with you in about 5 mins. would be more appropriate. It was no problem waiting for a few minutes, but the guys attitude needs adjusting.Also on the manager: One young couple had been waiting in line about 20 mins when they finally got to the front and were told that they couldnt rent a truck because the systems were down. They commented, It would have been nice if you had of told us that 20 min ago when we came in. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, the manager just went on & on about how it was the systems fault & headquarters wasnt answering the phones & ...Got a call saying I had a $6 dollar refund & could I stop by - No. Wanted to verify my mail address - OK. Then had to wait because my computer just locked up

Absolutely the worst customer service. Been calling for over an hour. Also when I got there I had my wife call from the car while I was inside. Absolutely no customers besides me. The phone just rang rang. I told them Ill wait answer the call...they never answered my wifes call from the car outside. Uhaul is supposed to make moving easier right???

This U-Haul store was terrible. The owner is extremely rude and does not care about his customers he only cares about his money. We reserved a U-Haul trailer and when we arrived to pick up the trailer we were told that there were no trailers available. They had a car dolly and gave that to us. When asked if we could have our 50$ reservation fee back the owner of the store said he will only give us back the 50$ if he didn’t have to give it back. When told that the 50$ was for a trailer and not a car dolly he said he would give the 50$ back if we wanted to walk away. The owner of the store has absolutely terrible customer service. Do not use this store. This was also to pick a broken down Gambler 500 car.

Terrible service, onerous restrictions on rentals. dont answer their phone. Second time visiting in a week, wait time 30+minutes. Today, there were no employees in the office for 20 minutes when waiting to dropoff a truck. One ran through after 20 minutes saying hed be back after loading a ubox. That was10 minutes ago. Now, theres a half dozen customers sitting around.

Rude. Agitated employees should not be in customer service. How can a place employee someone that works with the public directly with such an awful mouth? I was sworn at multiple times and all I was doing was dropping a rental off. There are plenty of uhaul dealers and other storage options locally that don’t cuss and swear at you with a bad attitude.

I reserved a trailer only to be told they didnt have one at the first location but I could go here to get one. When I got to this location, they said that they had one but they wouldnt rent it out of town and that they would not help me find another one. They told me to call uhaul or go online. I was IN a u-haul location so I was confused why I had to call. These people were rude and obviously didnt care. Dont use this place... Just do yourself a favor.

We rented a truck for one day 39.00 rate. We were told when renting we would get 50 free miles. We drove 26 miles and were charged 26 dollars for mileage. Where did 50 free miles go. There was foot prints in back of truck, we were charged 25.00 to sweep truck. When something was said to customer rep about 39.00 rentals and free mileage, whole counter personal laughed. They said that is only if you do not leave our yard. I wholeheartedly recomend Budget Rentals. At least they are honest.

I rented a car trailer to pick up my girlfriends broken down car in California, I came from bend Oregon and did the pre pickup registration and reserved my trailer. When I arrived I found their system had crashed and overbooked trailers. I asked what they could do and about the $50 reservation guarantee since I rented a car hauler hauler and all they could give me is a car dolly. It was an all wheel drive car and that doesn’t really work. I was offered no compensation, and even charged full price for a trailer hitch to tow the thing I specifically did not want. So here I am in California trying to figure out how to tow a Subaru 500 miles with a car dolly. Anyway rent a Penske trailer and save yourself the headache

I like this store over ANY of the uhaul dealers in the valley. The store manager is so nice and we have never had a bad experience. Rentals are always ready and available, they helped me hook up the first couple times I rented and always help direct me. Male dominated services like this or mechanics, even oil changes can feel intimidating. But Ive never felt intimidated here. Staff is always kind and professional.

They were very kind and cheerful. They got a moving truck for me on the same day and made it easy for me. I had earlier that day been literally laughed at when I tried to get a truck from another place. Was in a desperate crunch in late December 2013, my Dad was dying from cancer and I had to move his, mine and all my baby brothers belongings. He died a month later. So the kind customer service was deeply appreciated.

U-Haul has provided prompt professional service during our move. All the material, trucks, and moving accessories are in stock. Its nice to have pro level boxes and items for moving, which saves time and money. Truck reservations were easy and can be done over the internet. Staff were great to work with. And, several items had to be returned with no fuss.

Snow storm this morning slowed moving efforts. Returned the rental 3 hours late. They charged me for a WHOLE extra day. I asked if they could reduce the extra day they charged, but they wouldnt. I would have just kept it for an extra day and not worked my butt off to try to return it on time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I have rented from them before, but this will be my last time.

Ive rented several trucks and trailers from this place and every time theyve been very accommodating and always have a wide variety of trucks. Sometimes the line is longer than youd expect but I attribute that to good service and repeat customers.

I came in 10 minutes before closing and they were obviously very irritated by this. I knew what I needed and it took me 30 seconds to find it. They watched me struggle to the register, never once said one word to me. I had to guess which register was open as they both wouldnt even look at me. I asked for help and they ignored me completely. They seemed upset to have to ring me up and both men then watched me struggle to my car and load up the heavy and very awkward bundle of large boxes. I will never be back and I need lots more moving supplies that will happily pay more for somewhere else.

I was just trying to get availability on trailers and I didnt need to schedule when I called. I understood that I would need to reserve a trailor for it to be available if I did decide to get it. I didnt appreciate them very aggressively trying to get my credit card number. I did not say at any time that I was trying to make a reservation,just inquiring availability. Just because Im a young sounding woman doesnt mean that I dont know what Im doing when I move. Just give me the information I want and leave it at that, asking very aggressively for my credit card is unprofessional and rude I dont care if youre supposedly not charging it. Wow.

We made reservations at the Hwy 99 office with 3 weeks notice they were unable to get the trailer my husband had to drive to two more lots to find our reservation. They when we go to turn it back in we called the Hwy 99 office to see where to drop it since we placed order with them but picked up else where. I then spoke with Omari and he informed me that lot was closed today and we had to download the app to return it which frustrations us more since that was the reason we picked the Hwy 99 location due to hours. Due to frustration I raised my voice but never swore or disrespected him in any way even though he was talking down to me and being flat out rude and when I asked for his name he stated I already gave it to you which he didnt but I asked for his name after i said i want to speak to the manager and then gave me his name rudely and patched me over to customer service not even the manager. I have never been talked to like this this was not customer service at all.

Would NEVER recommend going to this location to anyone. Gary at the front desk is incredibly rude and yelled at me in front of everyone else behind me in line, for a misunderstanding on HIS part. They also scheduled me for a specific time to have a hitch installed, and then when I got there told me the guy wasn’t in that day and there’s nothing they could do about it.

On June 1, I reserved a 26 truck online for a June 17 move. I reserved the usual email confirmation, all looked good. About a week later I went in to the office to buy boxes and while there, confirmed my reservation, all looked good, 26 truck reserved for the 17th. I showed up on the 17th to pick up the truck and was told I had reserved 17 truck. I said no, it was 26 and that I had confirmed it. The clerk asked if I had reserved online, I said yes. His implication was that I had made an error. He checked to see if he had any other trucks and said he did not. We had no choice but to take the 17 truck. When I got home, I found my email confirmation that did indeed say 26. I called back and was put through to the manager. I believe her name was Lindsay. I told her I had a large house to move and needed the 26 I had reserved. She told me she did not have one for me. (We checked on the website and it said there still was a 26 truck available at that site.) She offered to give me a second day for free, which did me no good as I only had movers for Saturday and needed to be out of my rental. I explained that it didnt help, she basically told me that she had given me a truck to do our move, what was I complaining about (not exact words, but definitely implied by tone of voice). Because of U-Haul pulling a bait-and-switch with us, our movers had to take extra trips, costing us more money; they did not finish the move for us as they would have with the larger truck; we had to pay for extra mileage and gas; we did not get our of our rental on time, costing us more money as well. The entire experience was unacceptable. We will not be using U-Haul in the future.

They never start you off with a full tank of gas. They give you 3/4 tank so that you have to over fill the tank before you return it. If you do not fill it back up to 3/4 tank then they charge you a super high rate to fill it back to 2/3. Essentaly at gas around $ 3.25 a gallon you overpay by perhaps $10.00 just to insure it is a little over 3/4 tank.Another thing, if you pull up to the company 15 min before you need to return in the truck and there is a line of people returing trucks they do not count the time of your arrival on the lot. If they take 16 Min. To get you regestered as a return than you are charged a late fee.

The corporate-owned N. Pacific location is the best UHaul in the Rogue Valley. All the other locations are franchises and its hit or miss. Ive been to most of them and I cannot recommend any of them.Im a frequent flyer at N Pacific, renting a trailer or a truck almost weekly. Its not the employees fault that there are long waits sometimes. Because Im familiar with their system I can get in and out in less than 10 minutes IF there are no first-time renters ahead of me. If you do your research, and do the advance check-in thing, and know exactly what you want before you go in, you can get in and out in 10 minutes, too. My only complaint with UHaul is the difficulty in contacting the location by phone. Calls automatically roll over to an answering service in another state, and they absolutely will not transfer callers to the local office. Very frustrating.

So I have to to pick up a trailer in Grants pass at 9 but no 4 way flat. Drove all the way to Medford uhaul ay 7am and the lady was crazy helpful and the hitch guy came in on his day off to hook me up, ON A SATURDAY!!!! THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. We are moving out of the area, I can only hope the next uhaul is half as good.

It took me 3 months to get a hold of someone via phone even went into business to try to get my 3 storage pods to a new town I moved to. The employee quoted wrong prices was rude even lied to us when we asked for her name. Took threatening to Sue them and then and only then was I offered a corporate rate on one of their 15 foot trucks just to haul 2 pods then had to go back for separate trip for last u pod then I had to drive the truck back to them I ended up driving over 300 miles in 2 days. Id never use uhaul again. And when I went in a week later to get the truck and pods the same smart added, rude terrible customer service lying girl was still there and still rude!!

Worst U-haul experience in 30 years. I made an online appointment for Wednesday at 1PM to have a trailer hitch put on my car. Got there after drriving 40 minutes, only to be told the had double booked and I would have to wait 2 hours. I went to get lunch and then in 20 minutes got a call saying I could being my car back they were ready for me. THen ten minutes later I get another call saying they dont have the part and I will have to bring my car back om Friday. As I live 300 miles away it was a huge inconvenience for me, but we agree to 1PM on Friday because the part wont be in until 10AM on Friday. THen on Thursday I get a text about my 10:45AM appointment to install my hitch! THen another call saying the part was in on Thursday and they could install it at 10:45 and NOT at 1PM! Fortunately, I staying near Medford and could make the 10:45AM appointment, but this was the MOST unprofessional experience I have EVER had with U-Haul. The manager, Lindsey is surly and has an I dont care attitude.I do not understand all the 4 and 5-star ratings. On Yelp they only score 2 stars.

I rented a pick up truck to take some cardboard and household trash to the transfer station. I brought it back and was shown two small dents on the outside of the bed over the rear tire, and that I had to pay the $125 deductible of the insurance I paid for with them in addition to the rental charge. Next time I rent a car or truck, which will not be from UHaul, I will make the person come out from behind the counter and inspect the vehicle first, because as far as I am concerned they shook me down for $125 there at UHaul on North Pacific Highway Medford.

The staff is friendly enough but the management is a mess. Getting customer service is difficult as you get transferred several times and you keep having to explain what your question or issue is. The parking lot is always full or blocked by vehicles, the storage units are hard to get to and you have to maneuver quite a bit to get in or out, getting a large vehicle back there is a nightmare.

My storage unit is built in a way the cuts out a lot of space inside my unit, but the price is good, I played Tetris around how the ceiling is built, I love the area inside storage unit building where you can take or leave items in good condition if you dont want something that you think someone else could use.

I had tried to reserve a closed 5x8 trailer to pull with my Ford.When I called to confirm my reservation just now - for tomorrow morning at 10am, they told me they only have a truck for $300!!My option is to go to Grants Pass and back to Medford at 11am, then load up and drive four hours to my new destination.I am in a bind and doubt I can find another company at this point. Seriously disappointed.
