Awesome and friendly service. My lack of car knowledge was met with understanding and they even filled me in on some things I missed. If I have car issues or need an item, this is the place to go.

I had purchased the wrong intake filter for my car a long time ago, didnt keep the receipt and walked in about a month ago to bring it back not expecting a refund or credit of any kind. I was surprised when Brad told me hed give me credit towards the right air filter, and was very impressed with how professional and helpful he was. Thank you so much Brad for the great experience! Ive been meaning to submit this review for a long time now, but hopefully the fact that I followed through this much later goes to show how this left an impression on me.

Honestly I usually hate going to a Autopart stores since most of the time they dont know or dont care about what you need. The gentleman behind the counter Robert was Outstanding. Made me and my wife feel like it was a ma and pa shop and we knew him. I Dont even live in the area but will be going to this store because of how great his service was. I have done business with auto Zone for a long time.My last visit was not satisfactory. I waited for service and the cashier acted like I was a bother. The cashier continued the experience by being rude and belligerent.So I went to OReilly and spent $100+ there.

They usually have what you are looking for from headlights to fuel pumps to car accessories. They are efficient and helpful and they usually provide warranties.

Was having trouble with my cars battery, came in and Mike helped me check the battery, buy a new one since it did need replacing and even swapped it out for me. Great customer service! Thanks again Mike!

Today I visited the Auto Zone on El Cajon Blvd. I needed to check a code on one of my vehicles. The gentleman who waited on me was kind enough to come out to my car and show me where the cord needed to go. Turned out it was a pretty easy fix, just needed a gas cap. Thank you to him! A second gentleman came to ring me up and I noticed the air conditioning Do it Yourself recharger for air conditioning. I purchased two of them as I have several vehicles for my business that needed a recharge. I looked on You Tube to figure out where the ports were, I just could not figure it out. Your associate, Brad came outside to show me where it was. He found it right away and recharged the air conditioner! Voila! It was done! I then went home to get my second vehicle and again looked at You Tube where the port was, again, I was stumped the video was not so good! I called the store and asked for Brad to see if he knew where it was on that particular vehicle. He said, “Just bring it, I’ll do it”. So I did. Again, he charged my second car! Then I mentioned my radio just stopped working and did he know where the fuses were? Of course he did! Located my burned out fuse and replaced it! I just want to say, the people at Auto Zone on El Cajon Blvd near La Mesa are awesome! Brad was so kind, respectful, and knowledgeable! You are lucky to have him at that store! I recommend this Auto Zone and all of their Associates, especially Brad! Customer Service 110% Recommend to others Over 100%

Unproffesional. Came here to return an item. First guy tells me I the account receipt wont do and Ill need the psychical receipt, second guy, attitude and all processed it and tells me its to go back on the card but I requested cash, I paid with debit so same thing. He proceeds to lie he cant do anything. Ive returned an item for cash before as well. Ridiculous place, as if the item not being od quality ans spending time/money to install and uninstall wasnt bad enough, this is the customer service I have to deal with. Been with Autozone since 1996 but lately been dissapointed.

Just needed to replace a wiper blade but not sure of the size. I went to the counter a someone quickly looked up the replacement and told me where to find it. Quickly paid for it and replaced it easily for $12. Customer service is not dead.

Cesar went above and beyond and replaced my battery for me. He even put the elective bungee cords on it for me. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!

This is my favorite Autozone store, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The store manager(Jorge) is very nice. I would definitely recommend this store because they let people work on their car, every time that they need it (No oil change) plus the parking lot is huge.

Clean, easy to locate items I wanted but no one on the floor to help explain the difference in brands/products. All employees seemed to be behind the counter despite the the fact that all-time the customers were on the floor. On the other hand, once I did decide what I wanted, it was a quick checkout.

I had purchased 2 replacement bulbs for my burned out headlight at a different AutoZone the day before, but it was too dark for them to install them that evening. This particular AutoZone was closer to my errands today. It started out great. The employee exiting the store actually held the door open for me as I entered. That is EXTREMELY RARE for California. The another gentleman behind the counter acknowledged my presence as I was waiting in line. The line even moved quickly. I asked if light could be installed at this location even though I didnt purchase it here, and the guy was happy to help. He removed the old bulb, but had difficulty replacing the new one. Without saying a word, he walked back into the store. Everything was 5 stars up until this point. He literally left me standing at my car with the hood up, came back out 10min later, got in his car, and sped out of the parking lot!!!! I cant make this $h!t up. Fortunately, another employee in the parking lot saw me standing at my car and offered to help. Its a shame that one employee cost them a poor review, but that was completely unacceptable. I appreciate the service recovery but I WILL NOT BE BACK.

These guys are always nice. I always feel stupid being a 6ft guy walking in knowing NOTHING about cars, but they dont ever make me feel that way. Theyve always got what I need, or offer to order it. With a 2002 VW Golf, Ive been in to visit quite a bit lately. Overall great place to get some answers and theyve got a good selection in store.

First visit resulted in the wrong battery for my particular vehicle. The second visit, Nathir and Jose were helpful in getting me the correct battery and I was able to get my car back to home.

This store is pretty awesome. I was having an electrical problem and was about to buy a new battery for 250 and or an alternator for 500. After running a few checks, which they did for free. It turns out i didnt need to do either. It was just a minor issue with a fuse that cost me a few dollars.This is my go-to auto store for everything now.Thanks guys!

Always friendly service here. They dont always have what Im looking for, but I think thats the way of things in Auto parts as things gradually migrate to on line sources. I always check with them first before I order something from Amazon or whatever.

These guys were very helpful. The promptly greeted me and helps me find what I needed weight quickly. They even let me confirm the gap on the spark plugs I was buying with a gap tool that they had for sale.

Went to get a headlamp: Immediately approached by Service Rep. I gave him year & model of my car and what I needed. It took him 30 seconds to find the part. While ringing me up, he asked if they were going to install it for me. Very surprised, I answered OK...How much? No charge! I was out of there in less than 15 minutes with a fully functional headlight for less than $20. Unbelievable! Thank you, AutoZone!

I liked the store. I Hate customer service. I got there 3 people in line then i was the 4th. Only one guy helping. And two others in the back just walked by. I was there for almost 10 minutes and the line did not move one bit it just got bigger. It just needed to be a quick stop but i just had to go. I just put my items back and left.I understand that there are Undecided customers that slow things up at the register but why not just bring one of the guys from the back and ask anyone in the line that just needs to pay? Its not the first time it happens. And im sure it wont be the last.

Miserably hot and sweaty, hate to come in here but it’s down the street so it’s quick and easy. If it was cool in here I wouldn’t have a problem.

The AutoZone off Mission Gorge called over to verify that the part I wanted was there and that they would hold it. I drove over to pick up the part and mentioned the phone call, but everyone looked at each other like it had never happened. I found the part on the shelf on my own, but was a little disappointed that at one location they were going the extra mile and at the other they werent.

Super convenient hours and large well-lit parking lot. Was able to come help me check my vehicle as well.

The assistant manager was very helpful and helped me with everything I needed. Its great that they have loaner tools to get the job done.
