I was impressed by the communication and service by the woman that handled the insurance and claim. The work was done well bu I was disappointed with the condition of my truck when I picked up. Cables under my steering wheel where hanging down by my brake pedal. The tires where under inflated. I spoke to the claims woman and she simply stated that they where inflated to factory specs. They where not. I asked that they be checked before I leave as driving with under inflated tires is unsafe. She seemed more interested in telling me that they did nothing wrong but never offered to have them checked before I leave. I left frustrated and drove to a local gas’s station to fin two of my tires had 29psi. This is extremely unsafe and the response was unprofessional. They spoke as if nothing was wrong without even checking. I’d also like to mention that the hub on my wheel was loose and I only noticed once I was inflating my tires. It easily would have fallen off if I drove onto the freeway.

I renewed a lease. The car was found quickly but I was there for four hours.A second salesman was introduced halfway through and this added to the delays I think.Mistakes were made but in the end I am happy.

I have been here a couple of times and been always happy with the professional job they produce. These guys are a certified collision center and is a large one thats recommend by a ton of insurance companies. Always use original parts, get the job done professionally and carefully for all their customers. Always keeping me updated on the repairs and how long. Recommended for collision repairs.

On 12/3/19 I dropped my damaged vehicle at Penske Collision La Mesa at the pre-scheduled appointment time. My time was limited as I had another appointment approximately one hour after my drop-off time.Oliver eventually joined me at the counter. The individual moves at one speed--extremely slow. While he examined my vehicle, I walked to the car rental location in an effort to expedite matters. When I returned, assuming that my paperwork would be ready, Oliver was no where to be found. One of the front-desk staff members paged him. Eventually, he appeared. That said, he went back into his cubicle and, while there, received a visit from a personal acquaintance. Terms of endearment were exchanged between the two and a lunch order discussed. They moved their conversation from the cubicle to the front desk where I was waiting. It wasnt until Oliver glanced in my direction, that he determined that he should assist me, the customer. I cannot believe this person has a job.I cannot speak to the collision shop, as my car was deemed totaled. I can express thanks and appreciation to Roxanne who handled scheduling my initial appointment and the closing of my file. She is extremely efficient and has a great work ethic.

It took me forever to write this review. I brought my 2000 Toyota corolla for a repaint. It was never been in an accident but because living in san Fernando valley, the heat took a toll on my car paint. after the repaint, my car looks brand new. 2 years later, I still have the nice glossy paint. unlike other repaint, their paint does not peel after a few months. good job....

I had the worse experience I took my car for an update. After I picked up my car my sun visor was broken I called and reported the problem to the same peron I dropped my car. I told him, my visor was not broken when I dropped my car of and I have no idea how my visor is broken after I picked my car His response was, Im sorry your visor is broke I have no idea what happened so, Im driving with out my visor because i could not repair it because is all electrical.

I was Tboned by a guy running a red light and when I reported the accident to my insurance was asked what shop I wanted my car towed to. Since I had purchased several vehicles from Penske (Drew) and currently take my vehicles to be serviced at Penske Ford, the obvious choice was their collision center. I am now seriously regretting this choice. My vehicle has been at the shop since 9/10/18 and was initially assessed by my insurance company to have just over 14k in repairs. I was told there may be additional hidden damage but they would not know to what extent until I authorized a tear down, which I did. I am now working with the at fault parties insurance to handle my property damage and they have determined my vehicle to be a total loss, however, Penske Collision Center is holding my vehicle hostage and demanding payment for storage fees of $100 per day plus restocking fees for parts that were ordered to make the repairs. I was adamant from the start that I did not want this vehicle repaired and at no time authorized any repairs yet Penske claims when I authorized them to tear down the vehicle that initiated the repair process. Neither insurance company will cover this bill and I cannot move forward with my property damage claim until it is settled and my vehicle is released. My car was ruined by a negligent driver, I am dealing with injuries, and am now being bullied into paying a ridiculous inflated bill. I spoke with the manager, Larry, and was promised a call tomorrow after he works on the situation. Fingers crossed. I really do not want to have to pay this and follow up with legal action to get reimbursed. I am sure Penske does fantastic work, just be wary if your vehicle does not end up being repaired. You could get slapped with a sizeable bill youd never expect.
