We received a call telling us the car is ready after 2 hours I arrived at the dealership to drop the rental and pick up our car. Upon arrival they asked the rental car to be dropped by the door with the key inside. So I did as I was told. I walked in to be told our car is not ready and and they have no idea when it can be ready. I came back to take my rental back to make it back to my work and I was told the rental is returned. I spend 45 minutes to be informed I can take my car without car washed in 30 minutes. They have no idea what they are doing here. Go to any other dealership but Santa Monica.

$20,000 PRICE MARK UP. Supply and demand went to see a car at this location and saw price mark ups on basicly all cars due to the chip shortage was told very smugly from a carsalesman its how supply and demand works hahaha no, shorter supply during a pandemic is price gouging. Heres some basic logic, pandemic = less Cash flow = less chance people will buy a new car, hence why the USED market is doing well, so your solution is to make the less attainable more less attainable for a 20k gain? Jaguar/ range rover has a Rich history youre ruining with low level used car salesman tactics, its not supply and demand, just like when the Nintendo switch was in demand during the shortage and people bought them all and raised the price due to demand we call them scalpers. Btw whoever buys this, once the chip shortage is over is gonna remember how they basicly threw 20k away. Its 2021 not 1980 brand/dealership image is everything.

They dont do test drives. Thats a basic requirement of a car dealership; we were asking to see the new Defender, a fairly mid-priced vehicle, not a $300,000 Ferrari. A test drive is the first and only chance this dealer would have in making a deal, just based on the convenience of their location to the huge market of customers in West LA and considering they have a 2 star review average. The majority of their reviews is 1 star, insane that they would just allow this to keep happening. The brief interactions I had with them were pretty unfriendly, a horrible start. You might be able to convince a customer to deal after showing them how great the car is to drive and providing them with excellent service. Without that, LR Santa Monica pretty much has nothing to offer. As many other reviewers have mentioned, I recommend taking the extra trip to LR South Bay or Encino instead.

I leased a Range Rover Velar last week from these folks and couldnt be happier with the experience. I had the pleasure of dealing Gary (sales consultant), Vivian (the sales manager), and David (finance manager). We negotiated a deal on the phone without going back and forth a million times, and I picked up the car the next day. I gave Gary a heads up that I was going to be on a time constraints for the pickup and he had everything ready for me to sign and take deliver in less than 20 minutes. Appreciate the excellent customer service guys, love the car!

I wish I can give ZERO star. The customer service is absolutely terrible. My husband and I came in with an intent to purchase a 2020 range rover sport. We initially approached 3 different sales peoples. Who were distracted and unresponsive. We spend about 45 minutes around the lot without a single person to help. When we finally asked to speak with a manager she responded in a rude possible way “ can you see we are all busy?” we were appalled by her reaction and immediately left. There is a strong need for customer service overhaul at this dealership. Needless to say, we have taken our business elsewhere.

They will excuse COVID-19 to NOT let their customers test drive their vehicles. When asked, theyll tell you they only let customers who agree on the final price of the venice and ran their credit score, then theyll let you know test drive a vehicle. They do not ask for a covid test or anything. Only if your credit score is high enough, you can test drive. This is the most absurd way of keeping the public safe.PS. All Land Rover dealerships have partnered with cleaning companies for disinfecting their showcase models. See Clajet information on their website. This dealership has no shame lying to their customers about safety.

Very good experience. Daryl was our salesman. Very very patient. Stayed 2 hours after closing to finish paperwork and deliver our new car. The finance manager Tony was great. Truly the least painful paper signing and wrapping up the deal. Great job fellows. Definitely recommend this dealership because you two

If I could give 0 stars I would. My lease was ending end of March when Land Rover basically forced me to extend my lease because they wouldnt get back to me about returning my car. Dealership was useless and said I had to call Chase bank. Why would I call the bank and not the dealer? Basically ping ponged me back and forth until finally organizing a pick up for my car 2 months later (car basically just sat in my driveway the entire time, complete waste of money and Im not sure how legal it is to force clients to extend their lease when they dont want to?? Even with Covid there shouldve have been a protocol in place earlier than 2 months)So fast forward - I bought a certified pre owned LR4 in July from the sam dealership. They delivered the car to me at work with both key fobs dead, empty tank of gas AND several parts of the car literally were flapping around in the wind the second I went on the freeway. Oh just bring it into the service center. As if I have all the time in the world to drive 30 minutes to Santa Monica from Calabasas and wait to have parts serviced that shouldve been done before selling me the car???? No apologies from them, nothing. The FINAL straw is that they sent my plates/registration to the wrong address. The only reason I knew is because the home owner found me on instagram and messaged me since after she called Land Rover they just brushed her off. So here I am again driving across town to pick up the plates for my car that shouldve been sent to me directly?? Oh and I still have to go to the DMV now to figure out how to get issued a new title because apparently Land Rover SM sent it but I never received nor did the wrong address they originally sent things to receive it.FUN!!!! Will avoid this dealership like f-ing Covid.

The quality of the service at this location is non-existence. My service adviser Mario was smug and rude. I asked him to do a variety of checks to ensure my vehicle was in good condition. I specifically asked him to check my tires air pressure. When I picked up my vehicle the check tire light was still on. I had to have my boyfriend take me to the gas station in order to add air before the tire pressure sign would go off. Additionally, my tire had surface damage and he didnt even inform me. I had Mercedes for years and never had such deplorable service when I had my Benz. Range Rovers are expensive vehicles and I would expect a certain degree of service. I will never step foot in this location for my Autobiography Sport Range every again.

I went to this dealership to buy a car and the front desk was incredible rude, and told me that it would be 45 min wait. Then when I walked outside to look at a car, suddenly almost immediately someone was available. Then that salesman was even ruder. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Go to West Hollywood.

Went there to trade in my low-milage car. They were trying to buy my car at 10% below the lowest KBB price stating that KBB is just a guide and my is not in the same condition as the one that KBB is comparing to. The sales guy told us You dont have to buy a car from us. So we left.

I had an apt today to bring my Range Rover for its first service at this location and my experience was very disappointing. I showed up in crutches as I’m recovering from a total knee replacement surgery. The service advisor Peter Barahona took my car in and offered a rental car from the “big selection of cars they have for their clients who come in with apts”. Then another employee came over and proceeded to offer me a Nissan rental and said I’m sorry we don’t have any comparable vehicle to yours even though I had an apt. Then,Rosie the “service manager” said the same thing and called a Prius lift ride which made it very difficult and painful to get in cuz of my condition. Nobody was there to ensure I got in ok and that vehicle was comfortable enough for me.The management at this service location need to do some customer service training when disabled clients need extra care.My husband and I also own a Maserati and boy what a difference in customer service including that the loaner car is always another Maserati. We will b taking out Range Rover to a different service location.
