I was looking for a 2021 F Pace loaded with options and because of the pandemic it was hard to find one in the color I wanted. I finally saw a black on black one at Santa Monica Jaguar. I sent an email to them from their website and William (Bill) Parr answered the email. I sent my list of options and asked him to check off the ones the hard had on it. He did and got right back to me. The car had 90% of what I wanted. When I arrived at the dealership Bill was there to great me, took excellent care of me and I was able to purchase my dream car. I am so happy, Bill was amazing, I will tell everyone about Santa Monica Jaguar

They immediately pushed me to run credit before showing any vehicles. Wanted to see my approval amount before letting me look at or choose a vehicle I might be interested in. It makes sense to know how much youd be approved to finance before falling in love with a car that might be too expensive and would come out to be more than the approval amount. However; if you know your credit score, how much you were approved for the last time you got an auto loan, what your vehicles trade in value (w positive or negative equity, and how much youre able to put down, it seems reasonable to shop for what you belive you will be able to afford based on that information. I absolutely will not run credit before I am even shown the inventory, and have selected the vehicle I plan to purchase. Dont let the dealers (any dealership) tell you that you HAVE TO run your credit before you even select a vehicle you may be interested in. Why run your credit if you dont have a clue about what you want to purchase??

Wanted to take a second to review my experience with this dealership, and by that I mean working with Kenny and Alex. As someone who of-course likes the more special edition cars, I know what a hassle it can be on these guys to get a sale vs a person who picks what they have on the lot. Kenny and Alex were nothing but helpful, but also honest and upfront about everything including the ordering process. If you are interested in working with professionals, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Given the obvious uncertainty and stress during these times, it was nice to be able to work with people who do the extra to make it all easy

I went to go purchase a Brand New Ranger Rover from the dealer early March 2021. When I bought the car they sol it to me as Brand New. After running the Carfax report 2 months later it shows a damage on my car. I never got into any accident nor reported any damages.I went back to the dealer to ask them why they sold me a car that had damages and their response was, the dealer was sold last month and now has new owners, this isnt our problem.I trusted the dealer to be up front and honest with me but instead they did not bother to try and figure this situation out.Now I have to go through the trouble of hiring a Lawyer to take on the case. I am very disappointed in how they treated me and the fraud they have committed by selling me a Brand New car that had damages.

(Caution: sales rep Zvi Aviad shown very unprofessional behavior)We came here for test driving range rovers and the representative was extremely rude. This behavior was unheard of. An older gentleman, tall with white short hair walked up to us and asked us what model we are looking for without introduction. We were discussing the specs and the pricing between different models and we asked for their prices compared to online prices and he was like “yeah they are last year models and we don’t have them” and we were like cool we understand but still we wanna see the new models and feel the difference and he literally told us “oh you know Im busy and you clearly have better prices so I rather get to other costumers and showing you the car is waste of my time” then got up and left! We were just sitting there wondering what just happened?! Unbelievable really

Outstanding customer service. We went to the dealership and met Guy Petersen who became our sales person. We had asked about a used Land Rover we had found on their website. Guy was very honest and walked us through the entire car. He let us know about everything including a tail light that needed to be repaired. It was Guys honesty that actually sealed the deal for us in purchasing the car. There was no pressure. We also worked with Vivian who made sure we got a great deal on an extended warranty. She also made sure the tail light was completely taken care of prior to the final purchase. We loved working with both Guy and Vivian. We would purchase another car from them.

Late March 2020 I leased a Range Rover HSE. With the guidance, the expertise and the patience of my salesman Steliani Tomozei, I got the car that I wanted. Was easy process to get lease. Even got a promotional $1500.00 watch from Saks. In a summer of 2003 when I was overseas, they broke into my Beverly Hills condominium building and took a car! Didnt make me a chance to continue a lease! Was only 2 payments behind. Bad, bad act of dealership!

I recently had the opportunity to lease a 2017 Jaguar F-Type from Hornburg Jaguar of Santa Monica. The lease price was by far the beat deal in So Cal, by several hundred dollars a month. Not sure how they pulled it off but, what they offered online, was exactly the deal I got, no gimmicky tricks. The sales team was fantastic and very responsive. I encourage any one looking to buy or lease a Jaguar to first visit Hornburg, I am pretty confident you will leave behind the wheel of a fantastic new car.

Beware of this dealership, I went there to buy a range rover, the bank approved me since I had a great credit, then they told me this is my first expensive come they needed 6 month bank statement, I have good income and I provided the bank statement but they said they still dont want to sell a car. I have leased 6-7 cars till now but it is the first time that Bank approves me but dealership doesnt. Be very careful dealing with these guys. Company representatives dont do what they say they are going to do. Due Bill agreement NOT FULFILLED!! New vehicle was delivered to me almost a week LATE! Was so extremely excited about purchasing MY DREAM CAR-JAGUAR, that excitement was affected by the delay in delivery.A promise was made for the inconvenience. The PROBLEM, its been almost 8 WEEKS since the date of purchase and Due Bill AGREEMENT HAS NOT BEEN HONORED!! 😢An agreement is an agreement! When I dropped off the car I was greeted by the service drive person and they were very kind and helpful. When the service advisor joined us I was showed me to his office and we discussed what I had come in for. They offered me water and coffee and even a ride home if needed. When the car was completed I got a phone call and when I arrived on the lot, it was brought up to the service drive and it was even washed. Much cleaner than when I brought it in. I spoke with the sales manager several times. I was prepared to travel from Illinois to buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz s550 (with cash), which they were very happy about. When I mentioned that I will be shipping the car to a different country (which I have done before), he became very rude and disrespectful. He then told me that he “does not care” what I did before, and that I, “can’t do that.” I would not recommend this store at all. They are extremely unprofessional.

Came here today fully ready to purchase a Velar after doing research and deciding it was the car I want. Walked through lots and tried to get attention of the two sales person over a twenty min period. They would just look at us then walk away. Never greeted us and never even showed the slightest bit of service. If I’m here to purchase a Range Rover I shouldn’t have to beg to find a sales person interested in selling me a car. Hands down the worst experience ever and I will do my best to never step foot in that dealership again. There was no follow up for days, i left multiple messages and finally demanded to getting someone on the phone. Then they tell me that what was wrong with my car (conveniently 1 day after my factory warranty expired) wasnt covered by my Land Rover extended warranty. Every single time Ive used my extended warranty (on several different cars) at this dealership, nothing has ever been covered and they always find ways to charge even more money. To make matters worse, after 3 days and finally getting an update on my car, one guy (Mario) calls to tell me that there are extra charges and my car isnt finished until i approve the charge and at the EXACT same time another guy (Armando) calls on my other line to tell me that my car is all fixed and there arent any charges. I explain to Armando that I have Mario on the other line and he said its not done and there are extra charges. He said, he needed to double check and call me back. Interestingly enough, Mario calls me back to tell me that its all been taken care of. As if that isnt enough to show that this dealership is dishonest and a scam, when I went to pick up my car, it took 45 minutes to get my car. After 15 min of waiting and seeing the 2 people who came after me get there cars, I was told its coming, its just blocked by a few cars. After another 15 minutes, I walked around the corner to see my car in the garage and it was NOT blocked. I asked again and they said it was coming. Finally I walked up and a guy told me that they lost my keys and they were trying to find them. So not only was i lied to about what was wrong with my car, they lied to me about why it was taking so long to get my car back. No apology or anything. If a dealership lies and cant even keep track of my keys, there are some serious issues and I have made sure to let my fellow Range Rover friends know as well. Completely unacceptable!

They seem to do good work, though I think they are understaffed with mechanics.Even with a set appointment they always have taken two days to get the work done on my car.The last visit only required the change of light bulbs and replacing a fuse, probably 10 to 20 minutes of work and they took two days. They also did a regular check of fluids etc. but in total it could not have been more than 1 hour for everything to be checked.The positive is that they have loaner cars, Jaguars and Land Rovers that are all very new through a rental company on the property. You only need to pay for the gas used during your repair.

WarningI am writing this to warn people about Land Rover dealership in Santa Monica (Hornburg). I love Range Rover they have the best SUVs and I have gone through a few Lange Rovers. My experience with this particular dealership has been disappointing . I went there to see if I can turn in my old Lang Rover that I had leased 3 years ago and a get a new one. The sales person who was very nice at the time checked my lease and said that he can transfer the lease and get me in a new car. I told him that I have one month on my old lease . He assured me that wouldn’t be any problem. He mentioned that the only extra charges might be due to none wear and tear damages and he would not be able to promise anything in that regard.Last week I got a bill from the bank financing my old lease for 3000.00 . Half of that were for damages to the car which bank reduced to about 700.00. And about 1500 dollars for the last month lease. The bank representative was very surprised that the dealership didn’t take care of that. I called the Hornburg, I was on hold for half an hour finally I was transferred to VIVIAN the sales manager. She was extremely unprofessional and she said that UV (our s ales person )was very through and she can not do any thing for us. I explained to her that I would of waited one month until my lease was completed and purchase a new one. It would defy the common sense for me to pay for 2 leases. I Inquired to talk to UV (our sales person) she said that he doesn’t work there any more!!!!!! Asked to speak with the general manager and she became hostile and rude and hung up the phone.There are many Land Rover dealer ships in Los Angeles area that are professional and honest that you can by your cars from . Avoid these people they are dishonest and unprofessional .

My 2010 Range Rover was brought in for two recalls, the work done was great, I even received a quote for a part on the navigation system with all part numbers and a printed picture. My only comment would be I drove 2.5 hrs as they are the closest from my home and I did not know they had a rental service until after the appointment as I was getting checked out, I would have loved the option of renting a car as the wait for services was 3 plus hours.

We were visiting Greater LA from San Francisco over the July 4th holiday weekend - had driven our brand new full-size RR down the coast. As we departed on Tuesday morning to head back north (and to catch flights later in the day for business trip out of San Francisco airport) a low tire pressure warning came onto the dashboard while in Malibu - to find a huge nail in that tire. The folks at Hornburg immediately got us into the service department and repaired the car - in literally 25 minutes - to ensure we kept our schedule for our long day ahead - beyond good and thoughtful service from everyone there.

I brought my car for 2 reasons, which one of them was the speakers become fuzzy. but, problem is, this is not happening all the time.But after leaving the car for 2 days they said, they could not hear the problem, but when Im using the car, it happens at least once a day.And the other issue I had, was with the rental department which they caused me to get into argument with another customer who was waiting for vehicles due to not giving me a clean vehicle (lots of dog hair) and ignore me for 30 min. I had to wait there for 1 hour over all and missed my appointment at 12 noon.

Never followed through with purchase. A couple reasons why; No one ever reached out when they said they would. I then responded to two automated (Im guessing they were) emails. Even the emails were condescending sounding saying We figured wed reach out before we get busy with our weekend rush. I felt like saying seriously, I am a customer. Anyway, I replied to those emails saying Im ready to talk now, and gave all contact info....silence. Then a week later, same exact email. When I did finally speak with someone(on two occasions), they were short with me, and acted like they had better things to do. I chose to go with a different dealership. #notact #badbusiness

He shrugged as if to say we acknowledge that out timeliness and loaner car standards are low but we really dont care because we have monopolized the local market. Land Rover Santa Monica is the worst place on this earth. I purchased a Range Rover evoque and had it serviced at the Santa Monica location. The people at this service location never communicated with me and were near impossible to get in touch with. I would have to call multiple times a day to finally get in touch with someone to speak about my car and when I did get in touch they refused to give me a loaner car when it was a manufacturing defect that forced me to bring my car into the dealership to begin with.When I did go into the dealership to ask for assistance the receptionist blew me off, was actually rude to me, and refused to help me. I will never go back to this dealership or service location to fix my car because of how terribly I was treated here. For anyone looking for a service location or dealership I would recommend Land Rover South Bay.

I switched from BMW to Jaguar thinking that Jaguar cars and service had improved. They have not. Three months after buying my new car, it has been in for repairs twice, the last time for 3 weeks and the car wont be ready for another 3 weeks. Apparently the part has to be shipped from England and they are not willing to use overnight delivery. The service at Hornburg has been just as bad. I have had to call repeatedly to find out the status, and when I do call they constantly change the information they provide me. I will have to go back to BMW.

Ive had 7 Land Rovers. I always went to Thousand Oaks and now I live on the Westside of LA, so I go to Bundy and Olympic. Ive never had such a hands-on, kind, warm reception. I was early to my appt. They had a loaner waiting for me. And the phone call with what needed to be done came 3 hours after I dropped off the car. New tires were put on, brakes done and my car was done by 4pm. Unheard of in addition to the easy drop off of the rental car, kind reception, washed car. I could go on and on. Trust me, Im not an employee of Land Rover, just a lover of the car and now an even bigger lover of the service dept! Thank you for your professionalism and treating us like a customer! The most conceited sales people I ever met. As if they are Royal dynasty or Royal majesty. What a joke.My wife and I walk in there and the 1st thing they say in a snide slant is do you have an appointment because we close in 45 minutes in other words were too stuck up to serve you and we dont really want your business in fact were closing.Im sure doesnt take 45 minutes to look at a car.Pertaining to the brand it is obvious that there are more self tainted egos that come from whatever country theyre coming from or countries and they have the insecurity need to buy something that they think is putting them on a Royal throne.Anybody that knows this brand jaguar and land rover they all know that they are wrought with problems use cheap parts to try to make things look shiny and break down all the time period at least thats my experience from the reviews I read through car and driver magazine which Articles are not paid for not paid for by the larger automobile corporations

My husband and I wanted to purchase a land rover but had a few questions about the certified warranty. After 10+ calls and speaking to several different people, no one could answer our questions. We made an appointment to come test drive it but didnt want to drive 3+ hours to do it until these simple questions were clarified. No one returned our phone calls or emails. This went on for 4 days... so we will not be driving 3+ hours tomorrow to purchase (cash) this car. Looking elsewhere for a place that can at least return our phone calls. Sorry Hornburg you lost our sale.

Poor sales service. Weve been there 3 times to test drive an Evoque. First time - totally ignored. Second time - told we had to wait 30 minutes for someone. Ok, make an appointment for today (Sunday) at 11am. Got a test drive around the block - literally. Thats it. Our salesperson hopped out to take another customer when we got back. He was obviously double booked.No car is worth the amount of hassle.

The entire staff at Hornburg were great, especially Niko and Nikki. There was no pressure and they worked hard to get us the best deal. I also enjoyed the rock driving demonstration. I literally spoke with every Land Rover dealer in socal, the guys and gals at this location could not be beat in terms of service, price, professionalism and they provided all around fantastic customer experience. They got me into the Velar I wanted at a price unbeaten in 100’s of miles, Zvi and Alex are 2 of the most patient, knowledgeable and courteous sales guys I’ve met, friendly and decent gents also I have to say. Zvi was in regular contact for 3 days to get my deal sorted and once finished I came literally to sign and pickup. The sales manager Vivienne has to also get a special mention for her assistance and ridiculous knowledge bank and the finance manager also for staying til 9 To help close the deal. Anyone looking for a jag or Range Rover should make this your one stop and see them earn your business with grace and class.

Very happy with the professionalism of the staff. All handled via internet and email communications. They were always prompt to answer my questions. People who drive Land Rovers and Jaguars generally demand excellence...otherwise why drive a superb vehicle? I have been away from Hornburg for a few years (like cheating on your wife), but am back, not with a Jag (when they stopped making my beloved XJ8, I gave up), but a new Range Rover Supercharged--and the service is, if anything, better than ever.Fast, good communication, fair pricing, and honest answers. David Cohen was open and I guess he gave me respect--whoever left that review might have a few issues with authority--and my mechanic Jason Spenser is if not a genius, a mensch--very thorough, and again, great communication. And thanks for the free loaner!
