My fiancé recently proposed to me with my dream ring, none of this would’ve been possible without Kimi (Kimberly?). My fiancé and I came in just to take a look and she was so helpful, not at all pushy and you could tell she was just as excited about the ring as we were. I knew almost the exact design I wanted, my fiancé on the other hand had no idea what he wanted. Kimi pointed us towards the most cost effective option, without sacrificing the quality of the ring. I had a warranty repair issue with a Seiko watch I purchased recently from Morgan Jewelers, and live out of state. Kevin Lolofie and Taylor Morgan were great about taking care of the problem, and fedex-ing the repaired watch back to me in a timely manner. Great old fashioned customer service that is hard to come by these days! Morgan Jewelers has earned my loyalty as a long term customer, and is now my ‘go-to’ for Seiko watches; I purchased another one from them today.

We had gone engagement ring shopping at multiple different stores before going to Morgan (a mistake in retrospect). It was our last stop after a somewhat disappointing day of shopping and we were immediately impressed with the friendliness and care the staff took in helping us out, Kimi in particular. She spent time helping us find the exact ring my girlfriend wanted, and then helped me in the following weeks get it all sorted out and custom ordered. I visited this Morgan Jewelers location to get my rings professionally cleaned, but left with so much more. The staff here are so knowledgeable. I had a pin that was loose in my heirloom engagement ring, and the gentleman there (unfortunately I forgot his name) knew immediately that it was to secure the matching wedding band that has since been lost. He recommended that I get it soldered as well as get it rhodium plated to maintain the white gold’s brilliance. I felt no pressure looking around and feel confident that when the time comes to get a piece of jewelry, I will be well taken care of. I will of course follow up on the maintenance of my ring.

This shop is great for a number of reasons:1) Fantastic customer service (replaced my watch battery and cleaned my ring without any fuss!!). The staff arent snobby or pretentious and they certainly dont apply pressure on you to buy anything. They really feel like they are there to help you find the perfect ring, or watch, or necklace, or whatever you are looking for (which is honestly refreshing in retail...)2) A superb and extensive selection of fine jewelry. I could easily spend all day just staring at all the beautiful diamonds and other gems.3) The real estate isnt bad either. Its in the middle of a mall, so while youre doing your regular shopping, you can just swing by and check out what they have.4) They are super clean and conscientious. I was still allowed to try on as many pieces of jewelry as I wanted, and I watched the staff clean every ring and every surface I touched so I was confident that I was in a very clean environment.All in all, it is a lovely and worthwhile jewelry store.

I was interested in buying a Seiko wristwatch here. The whole experience seemed kind of strange to me. I know it was a brand new wristwatch. I am not sure but I believe it is called the Recraft type.I asked the salesman: What kind of warranty does the wristwatch come with?He answered that ...it doesnt...You mean the warranty is through Seiko? I asked.No. I mean it doesnt have a warranty.So can I purchase an extended warranty through Seiko? I asked.No. Was his only answer.Im afraid that makes no sense. Why would Seiko not warranty a brand new watch?I took my money to another nearby dealership and bought a wristwatch from them.

I don’t think I’ll be able to go to another jewelers ever again. The customer service is phenomenal even if you’re just browsing. Jackson made me feel right at home and comfortable enough to ask dumb questions (which, to be honest, was the entire time). He was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the store that I asked him about. My friend was about ready to drop two grand on a watch after only being in the store for fifteen minutes and it was mainly because everyone was so nice. Definitely make this a stop if you want a personalized experience, it’s well worth it.

I’m a long time customer that has had only Good experiences! They always take care of me by making sure all my jewelry is cleaned every time I come in, they don’t hesitate to make sure all my questions are answered and that I get exactly what I’m looking for. They have a good selection from earrings to necklaces, to rings and to watches they have a great selection and even if you don’t see what you want they will order exactly what you need.

What a nice, friendly and welcoming place. I just needed a new battery for my watch and I really felt like they appreciated my business. And they gave me better service than just changing my watch battery. Excellent service!

Edit: Recently I had to send my ring back to be cleaned and 10 diamonds were found to be cracked. The problem has not yet been rectified because my ring was made with the stones already set therefore, they are of varying sizes. It was cleaned, resized for me (I lost a little weight so it was too big) and sent back looking like new. I have a warranty so its all good. I opted to keep my ring, but they did give me options because my ring is no longer being sold. So Morgans is looking for different sized diamonds to replace in my ring, but I still have the option to change it, if I like. Honest people and they work hard for considering I live in Florida.I went in to get a piece of jewelry cleaned. Taylor helped me out with that and did a wonderful job and while there, I finally ran across a ring that I have had my eyes on for sometime now. Jackson was there to help. He didnt have to sell me on the ring, I sold him on selling me the ring. It was actually on sale. Needless to say, I had to go through financing to get the ring. I didnt want to spend a lot but my husband knew I wanted that upgrade. We got the ring with almost half of the purchase cost as a down payment. The ring needs to be resized and they are shipping it to my house in FLORIDA. Jamie, Jackson and Taylor we all super helpful. Danica was in the background helping another customer. I stopped in recently to have my wedding ring cleaned. Excellent customer service, my ring sparkles again, and they reminded me theyre more than willing to clean any of my jewelry for free. Then, my kids enjoyed running around the splash pad area and playing with the music going and all of the fun new seating The Gateway has recently added. What a lovely local business here in SLC. I needed a battery for a watch that I hadnt worn in a while and stopped by Morgan Jewelers to see if they could help. The associate working there stopped what he was doing and changed the battery while I waited. Normally I would have expected at least a few hours wait or an overnight stay for the watch, but I was in and out in 15 minutes. How is that for service?! And the best part-- they only charged $10 for the battery swap.

We really can’t say enough about how great our service was and has been. On our first visit in to look at engagement rings we automatically felt welcomed and none of the pressure we felt at other stores. Jamie our sales consultant was terrific she walked us up and down the case letting me try on any ring I wanted. When my now husband went in to purchase my ring and he had another great experience. Even a year later they personally call and let us know when special events are coming or that my ring is due for inspection. Overall terrific customer service, we would recommend them to anyone and we are excited to follow them from the Gateway to City Creek.
