My husband and I went to Jared’s to upgrade my ring for our 7 year anniversary. We have great experiences every time we go to Jared’s. Sabrillya and Les were so helpful and so patient with us. We were a little indecisive, but they were so patient with us and so professional. They had the ring re-shanked with a new center-stone diamond in about 24 hours which is probably unheard of normally. When we went to pick up the ring and actually saw it, we were shocked (in a good way) because I didn’t they could make my ring look that different with a single diamond. They re-did the prongs and setting that the diamond goes into. It looks amazing. Thank you Sabrillya and Les!!!!!! Your team totally exceeded my expectations!!!! 😍The photo with the rose is the before picture.I love my ring!!!!! 😍

My husband and I went shopping here for our wedding bands. We were assisted by Mona, and she was awesome! After purchasing the bands my husband realized his ring was too large. We contacted Mona and she was able to help us order him the correct size. Shes super personable and kind and we both enjoyed working with her. Ask for Mona if you visit Jareds!

Went ring shopping with my husband today for a 5 year anniversary ring. This was the 3rd shop we visited so I had a very clear vision of what I was in the market for. This was by far the strangest/worst experience. The man who helped us did not answer any questions or seem interested in selling us anything at all. He told me I didn’t want the style I wanted. They had several of what I stated I wanted right in front of him. After stating his opinion about my jewelry choice, he did not ask any questions such as budget or offer any rings when I was describing what I was after - just stared at me. I saw a ring I liked as we walked in which he completely ignored. When I asked about the price of another ring I saw out of pure awkwardness because he was providing literally nothing to us, he took it out and handed it to me because he couldn’t be bothered to look himself at the price. At this point we left. With this kind of service why even have an in person store?

Lisa and Les gave me the best customer service of my life!!! I went into them with such a stressful jewelry situation and i am literally blown away by the way they helped me! Honestly the only way to describe my experience is to say I felt like I was being helped by family. Jewelry is such an intimate and personal experience and when it’s fine quality jewelry it’s something that is going to be with you for the rest of your life and passed onto your future generations! It’s sooooo important and these two really made my feel like I was being taken care of by family! It makes my jewelry even that more special to me that it now comes along with such a heartfelt memory! Lisa and Les in SLC, UT. Are the only people you should be buying jewelry with! Jared, Lisa, Mona were all very helpful in the buying experience. I inquired by phone prior to coming into the store to ensure they had the watch I was looking for in stock. Mona said she would set it aside for me until I made it into the store a couple days later. A day later Jared contacted me via text to let me know he had the watch set aside and that he would be happy to answer any questions. I made it up to the store a couple days later and was greeted by Jared who had the watch held in the back as promised. He took time to talk watches, answered all my questions, and helped me finalize my decision to buy. Lisa was very helpful and patient sizing my watch a couple times to make sure the fit was perfect. The buying process was quick and easy, no hard sell tactics, completely happy with my purchase and will absolutely buy from Jared again.

First and foremost, let me warn you that you should not ignore the many one star reviews for this company. I wish I hadnt.I purchased an incredible ring for my fiance a couple months ago from another jeweler. That jeweler is based out of New York, but they have an agreement with Jared to provide a free resize within the first year, which we needed to take advantage of. We took our ring to Jared to get it resized from an 8 to a 7. Simple, youd think. Well, the next day when my fiance went to pick up the ring, she called me crying because of the hackjob Jared did on her brand new ring. They had completely removed a personalized engraving in the band which they had said wouldnt be affected. There were now scratches and gouge marks all over the band and the setting from rough treatment. The oval cut diamond, which was straight up and down in the setting when it was taken in, now skewed at a full 30 degrees off center, causing the ring to look absolutely ridiculous. These things alone demonstrate a clear lack of attention to detail, customer care, or quality assurance. To make things worse, when they mentioned that our diamond had been removed during the resizing, we asked if they could guarantee that the same diamond was put back into our ring, and they could not provide that guarentee because they did not properly document the diamond when the ring went in for the resize. All they had was a blurry picture of the diamond with no defining characteristics and no mention of its GIA inscription.So, with all that being said, I think it would be a smart move for anyone shopping for or maintaining their important jewelery to take their business to a more reputable company.

I just called this location to inquire about custom design setting for my new ring. Karen’s so helpful and we exchanged text messages about the design I like. She is so helpful. The conversation ended up her finding the diamond I like, and to my surprise she found me the best one, high quality diamond, super sparkly, and worth every penny. Jared and Karen are the best, top notched in this location. They are helpful and gives me a better deal than other jewelry store. I love my new wedding ring. Highly recommended!

Went in with something very specific in mind. Was only a couple days before Christmas new it was aLong shot.They didn’t have what I was looking for. Just some simple garnet earrings. We got engaged on a vacation down in Utah. My ring was too small! And we recently moved to a location where the nearest Jared was 2 hours away. Luckily this location was only 10 mins away from the site he proposed! We drove there and told them we were leaving town the next day and the friendly and amazing staff were able to get us right in! I got my ring back with the perfect size in less then 24 hours!! My fiancé has always had amazing service from every Jared location he has visited and the people here in Murray were life savers! I cant say enough about how wonderful the customer service is at the Murray location! Jared the manager took such good care of me. I live three hours from this location. We had to do our business via ups and over the phone, texting, sending photos relating to one another with a professional understanding of likes and dislikes...... It was a pleasure working with Jared and because of him and his staff I gave them my business. I wish all companies could be as professional and caring as he has been! I am so upset with the problems this store has cause. I took a diamond into them, and a diamond band. I bought a band from them, and paid them to put the diamond in the setting bought from them, along with soldering them together. They told us we could pick it up at noon. At noon we got there, it wasnt done. So we waited another 15 minutes, as they asked us to. It ended up taking about 25. They came to bring it out to me, and it wasnt soldered. So, they took even more time. After about an hour to hour I asked how much longer the lady with the tattooed head was going to be, because we had people waiting on us. She said only a few minutes. She just had to polish it. Well, there is a window. So I could see she polished it. And started to work on it. The lady the. Informed me that while polishing it, one of the diamonds on my wedding band well out. & that she was trying to reinforce the diamond back in there. Since then, September 21st, two diamonds have fallen out with normal wear. I am beyond livid. The metal on the bad isnt as smooth as the other side. & upon taking it to another jeweler to have it looked at, they informed me that the lady had also damaged the setting I had bought from them. So seriously. Dont go here. They hire people who dont care about your jewelry.Although this took place. I have talked with Karen & we are going to fix the problem! So thankful for her!

ZERO STARS! We stopped by Jareds today--3 civilized people ages 60, 87 and 89, wearing our masks, and they wouldnt let us in the door. There werent any other customers that I could see. The sales associate wouldnt let us in, wouldnt let us look, didnt want to speak to us, wouldnt give us advice on my fathers wedding band that needs enlarging. THEY WOULDNT EVEN LET US IN THE DOOR! WHO DOES THAT?! What HORRIBLE customer social skills! Complete snobs! Jareds has lost 3 good customers. I highly recommend skipping the chain jewellery stores and giving your business to the mom-and-pop stores, instead!

I went to this location in January of 2020 to buy an engagement ring for my now fiancee. I was greeted by Jarod (hilariously enough), and he assisted me in helping find the perfect ring. I told him the size, cut, and color I was looking for, and within minutes we had found a gorgeous stone and matched it with an equally gorgeous band. I was beyond amazed with how easy and fast it was to find exactly what I was looking for, and I left happy and excited.A few months later, after the question had been popped, we found that the ring was a little bit on the loose side. I took the ring back to the same location, and they took it in for resizing immediately. I was able to pick up the ring the very next day, and things were (almost) perfect. Another few months go by and my fiancee brought to my attention that the ring was still just a little bit loose, and needed something different to fit properly (since her knuckles are about a half-size larger than her actual finger). The jewelers at this location recommended a Butterfly-style fitting apparatus, which was covered under warranty along with resizing. We agreed, and got the ring back with the butterfly, but found that the butterfly had added a little too much to the inside of the ring, and now it was too small! But, we brought it back in one last time and now my fiancee (and myself) can officially say the ring fits PERFECTLY!I very very highly recommend this location, and Jarod if you can catch him while hes there. They took care of me from day 1, and didnt try to tack on any extra charges or anything of the sort throughout the whole sizing process. Excellent jeweler, and we even went back to buy our wedding bands!Thank you so much Jarod, and everyone else that assisted us in getting the perfect fit! Five stars!

I have no confidence the ring I purchased is not going to fall apart again.It lost a stone 3 days after purchase. It was “fixed” and I came to pick it up. During the final cleaning so I could take it, 4 more stones fell out so I had to wait again. I started wearing it less and less out of fear it would fall apart again. Sure enough, Less than 3 weeks later and yet another stone fell out. The newest solution was to order a completely new one. That took over a week.I feel like I am reduced to wearing this ring to special occasions. Disgraceful since it is an addition to my wedding ring. I wore my original every day for 8years without an issue. The Jared ring hasn’t gone 8 weeks. I should have gone back to the other jeweler or I wish I could get a refund. Poor quality and workmanship for $3,000.

I’ve been doing a lot of research trying to find the perfect ring for my wife and I 10 year anniversary. I decided to checkout Jared’s Jewelry on State Street in SLC, UT. I met Mona and Jared and explained what we were searching for. A very unique flawless 1 karat oval diamond 18k ring. Thinking I couldn’t find it or would have to purchase online, as well as pricing we’re all factors I was worried about. However Jared and Mona made the process so seamless. I felt so comfortable during the entire interaction. They really paid close attention in what I was trying to accomplish. They are very knowledgeable and know there diamonds extremely well. I really liked the fact I was treated as a person and not just a number. Any question I had was answered, I got an amazing price, warranty, and a Gia appraisal that was almost double the value of what I paid. I can’t brag enough on these two individuals. This is the first and probably only review I will ever write, I feel that reviews can be very miss leading, and penalize a business for expectations and or things that are out of their control. However I have been going to this location for a few years now and have found a saleswoman who I absolutely love working with. She is kind, personable, knowledgeable, and patient. Now the patient part is what wins me over she never makes me fill like I am wasting her time when I am in looking around, I can seriously go back multiple times before making a purchase. My wife likes very unique jewelry and Sabrillya can always point me in the right direction, whether it is finding that one right piece or customizing an already unique piece, she always finds me something I know my wife will love. Also when you buy from Sabrillya she is always happy to help even when the sale is over, which is much appreciated, and something you dont find everyday in todays world. I have absolutely no problem writing this review for Sabrillya and I hope if you go to Jared in Murray you ask for her.

I have always had a bad experience at this location but unfortunately there is not another one close to me so I always have to go to this one. In the past it has always been a struggle to look up my information just for a basic cleaning. Every time. It causes unnecessary waiting and is just straight up annoying. Today I called and made an appointment for 3 to bring my ring in to be cleaned. When I got here the doors were locked and there is a sign saying “closed for cleaning 3-4” I understand places are taking extra precautions right now and I appreciate they are trying to keep the store clean. But I made an appointment, and took time out of my day for this and am just so tired of always having a bad experience with this store.

Tired of the run around.Rewind to my first ever maintenance check. I was a month or so over my 6 month mark but only actually had the ring 7 months or so total. Small diamonds had ALREADY started popping out. I took it in and was given A TON of grief by the manager for the missing diamonds. I acknowledged that I was slightly overdue for their checkup, but I also had not even had the ring for a year, why were diamonds already popping out in the first place?Now I went in a week ago to get it checked as I am due and am not in the mood to endure another lecture by the manager on how Im overdue. I pull in, not a car in the parking lot and a full half hour to closing. Mind you the maintenance check I need takes (maybe) 10 minutes but I was still told I could not been seen. I guess due to Covid they require appointments, which I get if youre shopping for hours, but a quick ring check? Also, as mentioned before, there could not have been a single soul in the store, besides the employees, as the parking lot was empty. They clearly could not be bothered to take care of a customer a fair amount of time before closing. I do work retail, I have for 10 years. I have been a manager for 5 years so I can be somewhat sympathetic, but I also know that much greater customer service can and should be offered. Especially for a high ticket store.Well, I played along and made my appointment (which is quite difficult to as I work the same hours that theyre open so I planned the second half of my day around it). I had to schedule it a week and a half out even, only to have it cancelled 2 hours before due to systems being down. So how does that impact my cleaning and maintenance? I did not get a clear answer but it was clear that even if I showed up, they would not help me. ALSO, as we spoke, they still managed to pull up my info on the ring and then go ahead and mark it as though I came in for the check up anyways, even though I had not (I have an email to prove it). So, how exactly is your system down? Even if the system did impact the ability to input that I had been there, which they claimed, can you not let me come in as scheduled then make yourself a note about the cleaning and when the system is back up and running input that I came in for my maintenance?Maybe someone only just wanted an early start to their Saturday night?Dont be made a fool. Dont shop Jared.

Great store and great service. Ive shopped at this store for several rings and have always enjoyed the experience. I like that they are patient and take the time to find whats right for you. Worked with Brad most recently and highly recommend him. Hes a lot of fun and very personable but not pushy. 02/02/2019. 11:00AMI go in with the intent of buying an engagement ring. I saw one online my gf liked so I was gonna buy that or one similar.They were busy at first so I wandered around looking. Then there was just one person busy and 3-4 other workers just sitting around taking to each other.... as I continue to walk around some more so they see me.None of them approached me, not one. Again, I wanted to buy a ring today, but they didn’t want my money. I am not sure if it’s my skin color (brown) or if it’s my age (26), but no one wanted to see how they could help me.I’ll definitely take my business elsewhere where I’ll be treated better. I had a bad experience with my wedding ring. My Hubby picked out a real Lemon!! I was so done with my ring I didnt even want to wear it anymore. I lost diamonds left and right all the time. I swear they had it more than I ever wore it. So I finally went in there myself instead of sending my husband to drop it off, ready to not be told no and get mad if I had to! Instead, sweet Deborah, the gm of the store, simply told me exactly what I needed to hear. I left the store that day with an exchange wedding ring and couldnt be happier! I have had my ring serviced with this location for 8+ years however this last time when I had to take it in was a complete nightmare and I no longer am happy with the service.. I took my ring in due to snagging on the crown and the diamond being loose when I went back to get it they had put a completely different crown on it that holds the diamond and replaced my diamond without any consulting with me so when I picked it up the gentleman (Older white haired guy) gave me a little green bag with my old diamond in it so I asked why it was replaced and if I could put it in a necklace.. He asked the repair lady and she said it was needed to be given to someone named Rachel and didnt say anything further to me so I was a little confused... After a couple days I wasnt happy so I called and spoke to that same gentleman (Older white haired guy) and explained everything and I wanted to know why my diamond was replaced and why the crown was different then my original, with an attitude he said no no we would never replace a diamond and in the 4 years I have been here we dont do that so I said well you did because I saw it and he told me it was my old one and replaced the crown with something way different that I didnt like so he said well we cant do anything and if you wanna bring it in then we will talk about it so because of that I had to leave work early to take it in... Then he goes on saying they see thousands of diamonds so they wouldnt know which was mine. When I walked in the Manager asked if I was dropping off or picking up, I said well let me explain and as soon as I said my diamond was switched out she knew exactly which one it was and went and got it for me to look at, she said the corner on mine had chipped so this is why it was replaced however she said there was a miscommunication and they should of called me first but did not so after all that they had it back in the shop to put the original crown on it and fix the diamond and was scheduled to be picked up in the next couple days and I provided a picture from my wedding showing what I wanted back on it, I go in to pick it up and they still had done NOTHING to it so it looked the exact same from when I dropped it back off and I said this is not what I want nor is it even close to what I had originally so the gentleman (Older white haired guy) went and spoke to another manager (Lisa) and she came out to explain my original one is really hard to find so this is why it wasnt done, I said I dont care how long it takes I want it back to what it was so she said OK marked everything again and once again put it in the shop to be replaced and finally found my setting with that crown I wanted. After looking over my receipts they gave me it specifically asks was the diamond replaced and they said no it was not, in my eyes I feel they were trying to scam me into a cheaper diamond/setting.. The fact I was never consulted with during the process until I had to get upset with them to make them do it right is very unprofessional, this should of been handled WAY better coming from a Jewelry shop. Also when speaking with the gentleman (Older white haired guy) he stated working here is just a job not a career so again in my eyes he doesnt care about working with the public and making things right, maybe think about having a better staff! RIDICULOUS! Worst experience I have dealt with, this is what leads people to suing businesses.. Best of luck

We’ve had several friends recommend Jared to us, so we went in with high expectations. A jeweler asked us what we were looking for, we showed him a picture, and all he did was say “we don’t have that one but maybe we could order it.” He gave us no options, didn’t offer to show us any other styles, and overall wasn’t helpful at all. It didn’t feel like he took us seriously or cared about helping us find a ring. We ended up standing there in awkward silence and then left. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Went in to have a pendant that I bought there repaired and to have a stone swapped out. I dropped it off on Monday and Saturday when we went to pick it up they had not started on it yet. I sat in the waiting area for an hour and 20 min while they worked on it. When I got it back I saw they did not attach the chain correctly and the General Manager, David, made sure they fixed it right there on the spot. After bringing it home, my wife saw that it hadnt been repaired correctly. Now at this point, it sounds pretty awful for Jared. However, when I brought it back later that day, I again spoke with David and he did EVERYTHING to make it right.First and most importantly he admitted they made a mistake. Nowadays companies refuse to admit when they do something wrong, they always blame it on you but David owned up. Then he ordered a brand new pendant that was the exact same as what we had. When it came in he offered to transfer the stones on the original one to the new one for sentimental reasons and refunded all money spent on the repair and stone replacement that we originally paid.No one is perfect and no company will be perfect 100% of the time, but its what the company does when a mistake is made that shows their true character, and Davids character is top notch. You are in good hands there.

We told her our general desires and budget and she showed us many options and was extremely knowledgeable about the product lines, quality, and differences. My experience with this store location was EXCELLENT!! What made it so enjoyable was the lady who helped me her name is Mrs. Herrera. She was very professional yet so down to earth. I been to fashion place 10 times and 10 times toPick up my ring. It’s a resize and it keeps ending up to small to big. Then the band was to thick, now tiny diamonds are falling out cuz it’s be take apart so many time. They then ordered a new band to fix all the mistakes I waited 3.5 weeks for. I go in yesterday to drop off my stone. The ring is the wrong size. To small. I go to pick it up today and it’s Soldered incorrectly again. These people are not listening to me. I am beyond Frustrated !!!! Picked upAgain and the size is to small once again. The worst experience of my life.

A big thank you to David, Jay and Nicole at the Jared Jewelers in Murray. I stopped by tonight after work to see how quickly they could clean, check and dip my ring in rhodium. In the past they have wanted me to leave it and I dont like leaving my ring anywhere! They checked with Nicole and she said she could make it happen in 20 minutes. With the help of all three of them working together I was out of there in less than 20 minutes and my ring looks B E A U T I F U L !!! Jared is where me and my wife have gotten all of our jewelry needs at. Any time I have an issue they are always so helpful. I even had my wife’s morganite ring have issues and lost all its color. The staff and manager were so friendly and helpful and helped me get it replaced at no cost. This store will be where we always come, because they always try to do there best to make you leave happy! 5 starts by far.

A bit frustrating, all I needed to do was drop off a ring that needed a repair. I was told that I was not allowed inside without an appointment. I stood out in the heat for them to go inside and get the scheduling book. I had to drive all the way back out two days later just to drop off the ring. So frustrating

I got my engagement ring here. My fiance proposed and then took me in to pick out the perfect ring. We really liked the quality of the rings and diamonds and thought that there were beautiful rings in several price ranges. The staff was friendly and not too pushyThey helped reccomend style similar to a photo I showed them. The sales guy showed me at least 30 different rings and was happy to spend the time with us and offered to have something custom made of we wanted. We ended up with a Vera Wang 3 stone ring with a halo look that I absolutely love! They were even able to size the ring the same day so I could take it home a few hours later.

This place has one of the worst customer services I have experienced. Before I made my purchase they promised that they would resize the ring for free since I didnt know my moms size. Every time I talked to them before receiving they continued to promise the same thing. When it came to resizing they charged a fee and called me a liar. Saying they have NO way of doing that. As well that that their rep who did the promising was talking about a warranty. But I was never offered a warranty.Even while I was there they were arguing with another customer who had a receipt showing they paid and they were telling them they needed to pay again.They have no concern for the customer. Only the money they will be receiving. Never again will I go back to them.

Friendly staff and they have never pressured me into a sale. The repair shop has never taken longer than a day to fix the rings Ive purchased, or for the 6 month required inspections for the warranty. The ring I had fixed wasnt a defect, my wife bent the ring badly and it looks good as new.

I had recently had not so great customer care and no call backs. Had issues on a few things so that is why I gave it a bad review at first. We had gone to another large local jeweler to look at engagement rings and it wasn’t a great experience. I was nervous to go out looking again (I wanted a very rare pink sapphire) but my then fiancé convinced me to try Jared, where he had purchased some beautiful earrings for me for Christmas. Our experience was like a 180 degree difference. Beautiful setting, and they found the stone I was hoping for and had it brought in. My ring makes me feel like a princess, and every time I go in to get it cleaned I am reminded of that special day. The staff always makes me feel so welcome. I am so glad “we went to Jared.”

Ive been going here for years. They have always been amazing. I walk in there and its like Im family. Deborah, Stephanie, Thomas, and Lindsey keep me coming back. Even from the moment of picking out my promise ring, years ago, all the way to picking out my two daughters very first ring for Christmas, last year, I have always been treated with care. I wont ever go to another jewler. Ive even been to the Jared in Vegas and they are nothing compared to this one. My only suggestion to you is to always get the warranty. I know they make some money on it and thats part of their job to sell it to you but seriously its amazing. I go in and get my ring cleaned and rhodium plated regularly because who doesnt like a shiny ring? And they usually have it done same day! No waiting for weeks and its free with the warranty. And when I got pregnant they were so good about sizing it for me so I could wear my ring the whole time Ive been ballooning up. Go here and youll be taken care of. The heavy doses of advertising clearly works as it got me and my fiance in the door. They have an excellent location and the store is well equipped with everything you would except. They had a great selection of jewelry though everything was definitely priced higher then other places. The salesman was friendly but when my fiance brought up a concern about conflict diamonds he practically laughed at her and then guaranteed that they were conflict free without offering any proof of that as though we should just take his word for it. So if youre concerned about buying conflict diamonds and being laughed at for having those concerns then this may not be the place for you. But they did have a big screen television playing the football game so...

Bought my wifes and mine wedding rings here in 2013. When we purchased them they specifically told me that the life time warranty cover lost, stolen, and diamond and gems falling out. So I lost my ring and I went in and said it was lost and they were like we dont cover completely loss of rings. Well I guess I will never purchase from here again.

I love the rings, but i dont think the customer service is worth it. My sister and I came into this location to purchase wedding ring/band. The sales rep. talked me into applying for credit, which i did, and we moved forward with the purchase. Everything was great. A few days later we returned to pick up the wedding band but it had these hideous dents on it. My sister pointed them out and he was surprised saying that he didnt even see that. Its obviously a lie because the dents were pretty big. We had the wedding band polished?? (I dont know the correct term for it) but it didnt improve it. It still looked very flawed and deformed. The sales rep. offered to order in a new one but ring it up as a new purchase and once the new ring arrives, return the flawed ring. So now theres two purchases showing up on my account. I didnt think too much about it until the guy said that you can return within 30 days from purchase, which is fine, but the 30 days are coming up and I still dont have the new wedding band nor the information to set up my online account and see the total amount due, dates and all of that important information. I tried contacting them and the guy rudely told me to contact corporate to find out the status of that purchase. He was so nice and helpful when my sister and I first walked in but now that we have an issue, he wont even face either of us.I guess when you apply for financing, theres two different lenders. The sales rep. couldnt even tell me who he submitted my information to and gave me two different phone numbers to try and see who has my account information. This is ridiculous!!Im so unsatisfied with their customer service. The wedding band is pretty and all but its not worth the hassle. After this, Im closing my account and staying away from them. I do NOT recommend this place.

The manager David is very rude. He did not take ownership of a problem I had. He instead told me that I can spend my time calling Jareds customer service to try and figure it out. Horrible customer service! I reached out to the district manager to discuss the issue and my concerns and he never called or bothered to correct the problem. This speaks volumes for a business. In this area the management does not care about taking care of their customers long term. Also, he and most of the staff at the Murray location do not understand there warranty process. So if you care about your warranty or want to be taken care of long-term regarding your expensive jewelry purchase do not go to this Jareds.

Sneaky. These guys are very sneaky.I went in to get a battery for my watch. While installing the battery, the associate told me if I would sign up to be a preferred customer, he wouldnt charge me for the battery. I said ok. He then got another associate to start entering my information into an ipad. His questions became more and more personal and when he asked for my SS number, I realized what was going on. He was filling out a credit application. After I protested, he said, its OK, this is only a soft inquiry and will not affect your credit. I finally got him to cancel the application and left the store.Very sneaky and completely inappropriate. How dare they. I will never buy another thing from these glorified used car salesmen.

I have had mostly good experiences with Jareds. Sometimes their customer service can suck, it prettymuch depends on who you get to help you. I took my ring in for a cleaning and my bad came back a different color, I was pretty upset, but when I went back in it only took them 5 minutes to fix. Which was odd, but I am glad it wasnt something big. They customized our ring and did a wonderful job. Once again, its just some of their customer service that could improve. Especially when we are there spending THOUSANDS!!

These two stars were earned purely because of the AWESOME sales lady. She was the coolest, nicest, friendliest and honest jewelry I have ever worked with from ALL jewelry stores. This poor review is based on Jared as a whole. I purchased an engagement ring nearly 2 years ago and at first it was certainly great. As stated above sales person was the BEST!!Their loan servicing company is absolute garbage! I have great credit, used less than 30% of what I was approved for and was still set at a ridiculous interest rate (above 25% APR). This completely blew my mind! I emailed them and asked them for an explanation and/or to reduce my interest rate. Their response was that the APR was based more on repetitive business and payment history than it was about credit scores. Who in their right mind would want to do more business with someone that’s charging them such an absurd interest rate from the beginning? And isn’t a credit score somewhat indicative of the individuals repayment history? Luckily I was in a position to pay off my account within 2 months, and emailed them again saying “I feel as though the high APR is insulting and disrespectful… I have no intentions of continuing business… I am not sure why the start of our relationship (me and Jared) was such a negative experience considering I will be getting married and with that typically comes more jewelry in the future. Jared it’s not me it’s you, I can’t be in an abusive relationship.” Their response was “Thanks for the payment”, so again their loan servicing company is absolute garbage!Fast forward 2 years now, my wife and I are married. She absolutely loves the ring and continues to get complements. We have followed their inspection policy perfectly (every 6 months) and have had it cleaned professionally more frequently for special occasions. Somehow she cracked the bottom part of the band which requires repairs. On two different occasions we tried to drop it off and were told that they were backlogged and it would be at least a week, but if we waited and came by right when they open sometimes simple repairs get pushed through faster. Pretty wishy washy response if you ask me. Anyways she dropped it off first thing in the morning on a Wednesday and was initially told that it would take until the following Tuesday at 6pm to be finished. Considering it was dropped off within the first hour of the day, this means the repair would take an entire week! This location has on site jewelers, they do it in house, and so what takes so long? After spending thousands of dollars I would expect a simple repair to be done quickly, it’s not like they are messing with the prongs, setting or stones. My band, purchased elsewhere, is from a designer in Europe, they shipped my band to Europe to be resized and it was returned in less than week!In a nut shell, the sales people were fantastic! Loan servicing company is lower than low, the absolute worst I have dealt with. Service department is super-duper slow! So my opinion is that once the sale is done, they don’t care about you period. If they did, they would have better finance for their customers and they would have an adequate amount of jewelers available to repair their products. I might go back for the sales lady I had, but I would pay cash and it would be for something that would never need inspections or the service center.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! PLEASE READ!I would give this ZERO stars if I could. I bought my ring back in 2012 and have ran into TOO MANY problems. When I first bought my ring I was so excited, but as time has passed I rarely wear my ring due to the anxiety I get from wearing it. At Jareds they require you to bring in your ring for an inspection and cleaning every six months. After my first cleaning and inspection, one of my side diamonds fell out within a week of normal wear. I was able to get it replaced. Six months later, I went in for another inspection and cleaning again, within a week another side diamond fell out...again I was able to get that replaced. As time passed I had another side diamond fell out and I missed my six month inspection and cleaning and had to pay for the diamond to be replaced.Fast forward to 2016 with the inspections, the jeweler who worked on my ring was so careless that they clamped my ring so tight that it damaged my bridge and did not tell me. I noticed it after normal wear weeks later. When I took it in, they said they would try and fix it and after attempting to, they ended up BREAKING my entire ring. They had to order me another ring. At that time I also asked about why diamonds would constantly fall out of my ring and they had no answer and told me in the future I should request either the jeweler or salesman to double check my diamonds. Clearly they do NOT have a final quality inspection before the ring leaves the shop because if they DID then they would have noticed it was completely damaged! And IF they DO have a final quality check, then CLEARLY their quality standards are VERY low!2019-- I went in for my inspection and was told my center stone was loose and they would remount it. I went in to pick up my ring and was told that the jeweler had chipped my diamond when they were remounting it..... The store manager told me they would have to send my ring and diamond to Ohio to be replaced with another diamond with same or better quality than my original one. That could take up to 3 months. I asked the store manager if there was anything they could do for me for because I have had the WORST experience and customer service in the past 7 years. She said they could not, due to her working as store manager since only Oct 2018. She stated that she was not there for my past experience there therefore she can not do anything for me and for the future, I should only deal with her so she can take care of me. I asked her what happens when shes no longer there and I am back at square one. She said nothing and offered me $150 off on anything I spent over $300. Now why would I purchase anything from there again? She also blamed my princess cut diamond getting chipped by the prongs because they were completely wrong and should have not been used in the first place.After SEVEN years I now have a completely different ring. It may look the same, but NOTHING of it is original from when I first purchased my ring. All the sentimental value went out the window and they do not care! From my personal experience and frustrations I have gone else where to purchase my wedding band and husbands ring. I would recommend anyone looking a lifetime piece to AVOID this place and go to Shane Co. Those that I have referred to Shane Co have purchased lifetime pieces. Shane co has above and beyond jewelry pieces and customer service! I wish I would have purchased my engagement ring at Shane Co.
