The men that arrived were very professional and punctual. Despite the long-distance drive they kept a positive attitude and even gave me a discount since some of their packing material was missing. Overall, they did a great job from loading my items in the truck to helping me position them in my new home. Their reliability made my moving experience much less stressful. From the moment that I first contacted Two Men and a Truck to when the truck was driving away from my new home in Washington DC, every single person at the company was professional, courteous, honest, friendly and followed through on everything that they said that they would. I could not imagine a better experience during such a stressful time.In the office, Samantha immediately responded to my request for information and answered all of my questions. Anyse promptly came to my home for an accurate estimate and answered my many questions. Chris came the following day to drop off boxes, even greeting my dog by his name when he walked through the door (I note this because of the attention to detail that everyone at the company paid to my move). On moving day, my fantastic movers, Joe and David, showed up on time, and took great care in wrapping my five large pieces of all glass furniture, including a 96 glass dining table. Husband and i had never used professional movers before, glad we chose these guys first. Had four guys turn up promptly on time, did a walk through of the house and organized who would do what before even touching furniture, they were organized, professional and made sure to wrap and protect anything that would need it. Ive moved a handful of times in my life, but this was simply one of the best experiences ive ever had with that normally complicated and painful process. I had originally gone with a competitor as they initially quoted me a cost that two days before my move had turned into double what I had expected due to hidden fees. I called up Two Men and a Truck 2 days before my move and they were able to accommodate me right off the bat and answered all my questions. The office associate I spoke with was very friendly and completely transparent about expectations and pricing( I believe her name was Stephanie). Chris and Van were the two gentlemen who helped me on move day. They were right on time, super friendly and attentive. Keith and Trevion were amazing movers and the company as a whole was a great experience. We moved from Florida to South Carolina and they were quick, efficient, and kind. We were very pleased with our experience with Two Men and a Truck! We used their packing service and they packed our 3 BR 2 Bath house the day before the move and then moved us the following day. I clearly labeled each room at the new house with signs and each furniture item for what room it should go to and even put labels on the ground so theyd know where to put furniture. They were careful to get everything to the proper room and furniture to the proper location. They were fantastic and worked even faster than expected! We would definitely use them again!

We researched multiple moving companies in the area. Two Men and a Truck in Gainesville was the most responsive courteous and professional company that we dealt with initially. At our request they came to the house to do an assessment for the move and recommended everything that we needed. Their quote was reasonable and without additional add-on cost. The Moving Team arrived as scheduled with all the supplies necessary and were very courteous and professional and respectful. David Joe and Chris demonstrated excellent customer service. We were pleasantly surprised that they care that they took with our furniture and the added supplies that they used to make sure that nothing was damaged. Anthony and Malcolm were the best movers Ive ever had. They treated my furniture gently and wrapped some of it in protective plastic wrap. I had to have everything on my first floor moved out to have new flooring installed, then all of it moved back in. Well repeat the process with the upper floor.I found the woman at the office (Im embarrassed I cant remember her name), very friendly and helpful in scheduling all this.

This was our first time using movers instead of doing it ourselves, and I will never go back. The team arrived early and were so professional and efficient. They padded and wrapped everything that needed it, and everything arrived to our new apartment in great condition. We have a large couch and the new apartment has a narrow doorway and David and Joe did an excellent job getting it in, we couldn’t have done it without them!

We contacted Two Men and A Truck one week prior to our shipment arriving at the port in Miami. Samantha at the front office was very professional, answered all my questions over the phone, did not rush me off and asked all the pertinent questions to make sure they had all the information needed to provide an accurate quote. She then forwarded a professional quote that detailed everything and there were no hidden costs at the end of the move! Our quote even covered insurance for our household belongings up to $50,000 at no additional cost.Two guys drove down to Miami from Gainesville, Fl and unloaded our belongings from the warehouse onto their 26 truck which arrived on time. The next morning, I received a call that they were on their way, again on time. Three guys uloaded and carried all of our household goods up to the 3rd floor on their backs. We have very heavy furniture and they completed the job without a mishap! Joe, Kyle and Van all went the extra mile. They even put together our three beds for us. They did everything with a smile and gracious attitude! We used this company the first time in 2014 and they picked up an antique baby grand piano from one location and then came to pickup our household items from our apartment and delivered it all to our new house. We had the same experience in 2014 as we had in 2020; wonderful!They were on time, professional, courteous, thoughtful, and made both moves less stressful! We highly recommend them! Do not hire this company if you expect fair and professional treatment. I am a senior citizen who hired Two Men and A Truck to move me from Gainesville, FL to Jensen Beach FL. A one day move. I packed belongings myself. (1) To begin with, the driver of the team, convinced me that a computer desk could not be moved downstairs to the truck without first disassembling it in its entirety. (In spite of the fact that it had not been disassembled to bring it up the stairs) Once disassembled, moved to the new location and reassembled, it was never the same and as a result began to fall apart when movers from a different company attempted to move the item to a different floor. (2) Upon arrival to Jensen Beach, FL, the movers asked if they could wait until the next day to deliver the furniture. Unfortunately, I agreed which turned out to be bad decision on my part as a few hours later I broke my left ankle in 3 places and broke my right foot. As a result, I was in the hospital when my belongings were actually delivered and because I had to have a friend to actually be present for the move, I was not able to review for any damage. I was then confined to a first floor unit in a wheelchair (my unit was on the second floor) for 2 months and again not able to access any damage by the movers. (3) Once I was released by my doctor to climb the stairs and see what the movers had done, it was impossible for me to access the total amount of damage on the furniture as everything was jammed into and piled in front of each other requiring most of the visible furniture to be moved to see the damage to all the furniture. Obviously being 70 years old and recovering from 2 broken feet, it was an impossible task for me.. (4) As a result of all this delay (none of which was directly my fault) I located several damaged pieces some of which was to my beloved antiques. I put in a damage claim as soon as I was able under the circumstances but that was not good enough for Two Men and A Truck. Because the claim for damages did not occur within the proper time frame according to them, ALL my claims were denied. In short, there was no consideration for circumstances beyond my control. So my warning to anyone using this franchise or any Two Men and A Truck franchise, is DO NOT DEVIATE FROM THEIR RULES. NO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES ARE ALLOWED. YOU PLAY BY THEIR RULES WHICH ARE SET IN CONCRETE OR YOU LOSE. It is a sad sad day when companies such as this one, do not allow themselves to bend their rules, when unusual and unexpected circumstances happen. A VERY dissatisfied senior citizen.

The two guys that came were professional, courteous, incredibly helpful, and incredibly careful with our things. It began to rain as we drove from the loading location to the unloading location. They were careful to cover eveyrhing in plastic and/or moving blankets to make sure it didnt get wet even though they were soaked. The price is outstanding. The scheduling is awesome. The office staff bends over backwards to make sure youre happy. Dont go anywhere else for moving. Hire these guys and you wont regret it.

1 hour into the job nothing loaded but going over paperwork. Two men needed to put a blanket over a small dresser. When told that the list was not the same was told it’s extra time for a king size bed because they had originally quoted a queen size so the time was extra. I had Greek Moving company come from south Florida that loaded and unloaded faster. The only time they work at a normal pace is when I come near the area they are working at. They slowed the pace down to almost a crawl until I got there terribly managed company and drivers. Stay away. If I could do no stars I would

This is my third time using Two Men and a Truck Gainesville. This time, I entrusted them with my mothers move to Assisted Living. They are one of only two companies allowed in the senior community during COVID, and for a reason. They were professional, on time, wore masks, solved issues when we had too much furniture, and generally were amazing. Their office staff consists of real people who answer the phone and work with you on updates and changes. Im not sure why anyone uses anyone else to move. Thank you, Two Men and a Truck!

The two movers were young not well built and not careful. Many times things were dinged into the corner entry way into or out of a room. They didnt have proper knowledge of lifting certain items and I had to step into make sure there wasnt more damage after noticing they were not good at what they do. Probably a different crew might have yielded different results. My comments are strictly regarding the 2 movers. Their tools were insufficient to take our bed frame apart, so I provided a socket wrench--no biggie but expected more since Ive used a professional mover before for a long distance move. All said and done I would search for a different company. If I ever call them again I would like to be able to request experienced persons.

Very professional and pain-free. They will charge for actual time spent moving, and they are fast and efficient about moving things while taking care of your furniture. I verbally described the number of boxes and furniture over the phone; while the estimator gave me a very conservative time estimate of 6.5 hrs to move a 800 sq ft one-bedroom apartment (I have a lot of books and shelves), in reality it only took 3.5 hrs and thats what they charged me for. I would highly recommend to anyone moving in the Alachua county area.

Samantha and the team from Gainesville Two Men and A Truck was amazing, once again. This was the first time I used them for a cross-country move and the level of service they provided was amazing! I called other providers and was told their price couldnt be beaten for a single team, dedicated move and the best I could expect was a three-party move coordination that may have cost less. In the end, it was the ease of communication, attention to detail and commitment to delivering what they promised that impressed me most with the Gainesville team.

I recently moved from Gainesville, FL to Sarasota, FL. Moving is stressful, but Two Men and a Truck made it easy. The staff is professional, responsive, and friendly. They were very careful not to damage my furniture and worked quickly. They also ended up charging me less than the original quote. One of the staff members informed me they used less packaging materials and man hours than anticipated, so he called his manager to get approval to reduce the charge. Two Men and a Truck also provide full valuation coverage. Most moving companies do not. I would definitely use Two Men and a Truck again!Chris

Hiring them was the best decision I could have made! Theyre super affordable & charge you by the amount of time they spend moving you, so you don’t even pay until you’re all moved in. “Oh, then they will take their sweet time & eat up your wallet?” NOPE! Ben & Branden (my “Two Men”) were in & out in 1/2 the time in the quote & prolly 1/10 of what it would have taken me & friends. Movers Who Care is not an empty slogan either! They were efficient, handled with care, had the BEST attitudes & genuinely cared about their job & performance. I have used other movers before & this was by far the best experience. 5 stars! If you’re moving out, use 2 Men and save yourself from the moving aches & pains...& headaches trying to figure out how to maneuver large furniture in tight spaces. It was the best decision I made!
