They were very professional and efficient! They called 3 days and 1 day before to confirm and check if any items needed to be changed. They did an amazing job moving all our furniture from a 2 story townhouse to a 3rd floor apartment, and took great care to protect the furniture throughout the whole processes. The price was great, and I also appreciate the fact that they were able to give a definite price in the quote. Many other companies I had looked into were not only more expensive, but also couldn’t give definite prices since they said it would change based on the amount of time. Overall, I was extremely pleased and would 100% recommend!!

Little Guys Movers were extremely professional and efficient. This is the best service I have had moving ever, and I have done so many times. They called multiple times before the actual move to confirm the time and date and ask for any alterations/updates regarding items that would be moving. They were very attentive on the phone as well as during the with how I wanted everything arranged and handled. They had a very fair price that stayed true to the original price, and I greatly appreciate the itemized breakdown they provided in regards to its transparency. While moving my items, they even had to bring in another employee to help assist in moving one of my heavier items with no extra charge to me. I really appreciated how communicative they were on the date of arrival as well. They updated us several times to let us know when they would be arriving. I could not recommend them enough. Moving as a college student can be very daunting, and I know the other company’s that I have used in Gainesville did not leave me with a great impression. Joel and the other members of the team in the office and on site did an amazing job at making my mom seamless and stress-free.

Moving is usually a nightmare, but the gentlemen that helped move my roommate and me to our new apartment were absolutely phenomenal. They were extremely punctual and arrived exactly on time. They worked quickly, and handled our furniture and belongings with a great deal of care and professionalism. They disassembled and assembled our furniture better than we ever could. The whole process was slick, surprisingly inexpensive, and much appreciated. These guys know what they are doing.

I had a wonderful experience with Little Guys Movers! It was incredibly easy to schedule with them and I received 2 confirmation calls before the move which reassured me that the movers would arrive on time (they actually showed up early!) They loaded the furniture insanely quickly and damaged nothing despite having three outdoor flights of stairs to handle. When we moved from Micanopy to Hawthorne, the original movers didnt bring the proper equipment to move a piano. We contacted several moving companies, and agreed that Little Guys was the best choice to move the piano. Jamal and Corey arrived on time, worked together as a team and were professional. Before my wife and I knew it, they had the piano in their truck. Within a hour, the piano was delivered to our new house. I normally dont take time out to give reviews, but I felt I should. Little Guys Movers was recommended to us by the previous owners of our new home, and we wish we had known about them for previous moves. Our move was on a VERY rainy day, but the men came fully prepared for that in every way and treated every piece like it was their own. A few points that stuck out for us which I hope someone who is moving can consider in choosing this company...1. Punctuality and Quality: These men worked non-stop (took a lunch of course) from 8am to late into the night. They were physically and mentally prepared for what they knew would be a very big move and handled it with professionalism from start to finish. We also appreciated that they were exceptionally SMART movers (i.e. every move they made was clearly thought out, very well-communicated to each other, and precisely done with what looked like ease). This showed us that these men all had VERY good experience. Although it was a very long day for them, they never displayed any form of exhaustion (it was also very hot and they made sure to keep a professional appearance and kept our belongings clean still)2. Professionalism, honesty and continuation of quality: We noticed that one mover may have been in training (not completely sure because he still was excellent). However, this had absolutely NO impact on the quality of the move whatsoever. We sincerely appreciated that the lead mover was informing him of how a few pieces of furniture needed to be moved. We noticed when asked if he felt comfortable moving a certain piece, he said he would prefer to observe and see how the other men moved it. WE SINCERELY APPRECIATE THIS HONESTY FROM YOUR EMPLOYEES. Our last move with a different company went terribly wrong with over-confident/careless movers and many things were unfortunately damaged because of that.3. Responsiveness: Mistakes happen and we understand that. This is why we chose insurance option prior to the move. With the variety and weight of things that we have and the new propertys extremely difficult areas to maneuver large pieces, we really werent going to be surprised if at least one thing got nicked or slightly damaged. We honestly felt terrible for the men because absolutely nothing was harmed up until the very last (and absolutely the most difficult) piece to move and these men had worked so hard to avoid anything from happening from start to finish. Overall the damage was almost unnoticeable (a barely 1 inch cut into a screen). The companys responsiveness to get this resolved asap was exceptional. The screen company they work with was also at the highest standards and came the very next business day. Veterans Movers canceled on me without calling me and they called these guys. They were able to come out the same day and move me. They were absolutely wonderful and did a great job moving everything. I couldnt be more grateful. We had issues with my square payment and they were very patient and understanding until the bank figured it out. I would have them move me again in a heartbeat.

Great experience! Estimate came in less that I was quoted because they worked the whole time they were there regardless of being paid by the hour. All my furniture was packed perfect in the truck making sure nothing got damaged on the drive. I will use them again next time I move.

Transparent pricing - efficient process - great service 👍

First, the person who scheduled the move misled me and did not professionally assess the complexity of the job or the time that would be required. I told him I had several beds that were involved with assembly, bunk beds to name one. He said Oh my guys can figure it out. He said the job can be done in 4 hours after I gave him a list of furniture to be moved. I corrected him and said sir, UF Movers just moved me out of same house and it took three men a full 8 hours. I said allot 8 hours because we will need it. He asked me if I had any appliances, and I said yes a washer and dryer and I need those connected. He said no problem. I asked him if they gave any discounts like veterans and he said no but would give cash discount.The three men were punctual and met me at the storage units on time. I had two 10x15 units. One was half empty. They started around 8:40 am. They did not arrive at my home until 11:15 am. Please understand it took UF movers 3 men exactly 1.5 hours to put these items in these two storage units and they had one 26 foot truck.When Little Guys showed up they told me they could not get everything packed on their 26 foot truck. Yet UF movers did.So this relatively new guy tells me they will just unload everything and put in my garage and go back to storage units because they left them unsecured with no lock. I told him absolutely not. They needed to unload what they had on truck and then go back toStorage. Placing items in my garage would have been a double move. And items would not fit thru garage entry door. It was apparent these guys did not know how to pack a truck nor be efficient in moving time.Then he says we will stack it all in your large dining room. I said absolutely NOT. You will scuff my cherry hardwood floors. I said you will unload the items and place them in each room where they go. So it took them 1.15 hours to unload the truck.They tell me they will go to lunch and go get rest of storage. Remember we are talking about maybe half of a 10x15 unit. They left for lunch at 12:30 and didn’t return until 4:15 pm. I was livid. Then at 6 pm they tell me they cannot find the hardware to the bunk beds or my daughters trundle bed and that I have reached my 8 hour limit. There’s not ONE PIECE of furniture assembled. I said whoa. UF movers had done an outstanding job packing and wrapping everything. I told them I hired movers to also assemble everything and hang TVs. After I said that then they mysteriously found hardware for bunk beds. But one of the three men, was staying outside mostly. He was not assembling, just sweeping truck and trying to look busy. I asked him why he wasn’t inside and he said OH I don’t know how to assemble anything. I’ve only been doing this two months. And I let the other two men do it. I told him I was being charged $165 per hour for three men and because I didn’t see him working I didn’t feel I should pay for the third guy.By 10 pm they had managed to get the bunk beds assembled. My daughters room was left Unassembled. They said no hardware. They left the two TVs on floor not mounted.I found dirty hand prints on my wall in living room. I would post pics if I could.My home has white carpets and I had just steamed cleaned them. I asked them to please be careful but not One of them removed shoes or wore something to protect carpet from getting dirty.They also told me they do not connect washer and dryers. They said you can do it. So by 10Pm they have now charged me way beyond the 8 hours that I had allotted because that is what it takes real professionals to do this job. UF movers just did this job in 8 Hours. The TVs are still not mounted and daughters bed is in pieces. I could have hired anyone on street for same outcome.I don’t think the crew had the experience or professionalism like UF movers. One guy seemed more experienced but he could not carry the day for the other two who were lagging.I would not recommend for a big move with furniture to assemble.
