Phone was blacked out and inoperable. Young man rebooted it and got it operable within 5 minutes of being in the store. What great service. Was able to go get a new phone and transfer everything with no problems! Very grateful for the quick, professional service. Would highly recommend this store!

I used them today to fix my Galaxy S10 phone screen it was cracked on the corner on the right top corner where the camera is and then two days later my screen turned white and wouldnt work when I walked in there and showed Brandon he knew exactly what was wrong it was just from the screen. My boyfriend had called beforehand and they said bring it in right away! They were able to get to my phone right away and then 3 hours later I got my phone back! A little pricey but you get what you pay for and it was great service! Brandon the guy who helps me and did my phone was amazing! He was super professional very knowledgeable very friendly and just amazing he honestly deserves a raise LOL first impressions are everything especially with customer service and he was just above and beyond! My phone now works like its brand new and looks great I got my phone back with no issues and looks like I just bought a new phone! Definitely will be using them again! Also my sister-in-law had used them to fix her Galaxy s20 phone screen as well and she said the same thing I did about Brandon and that overall quality!

Outstanding and HONEST. Could have tried to sell me a new screen because I KNEW the glass under the protector was broken. Would have cost $150 to replace the screen. Alexandra pulled the screen protector off, sold me two new screen protectors for my phone for a simple $30 fix. Phone is as good as new. 😎

I came in, showed the lady my phone, that would not respond to any of my commands. The face recognition the swipe to open the hard reset, nothing would work. We brought in an old Samsung Galaxy 2 phone to transfer data onto a new iPhone 13. Best Buy and AT&T were unable to help us. The young man who helped us at uBreakiFix, 39th Ave Gainesville was outstanding. He graciously helped us and never made us feel like a nuisance or inconvenience. He was extremely respectful and patient with us. He helped with all of our needs and made sure we were satisfied before letting us leave. We were extremely impressed by him. As a mother I thought about how proud his mom would be. We are a bit older and not up with the latest technology, and he never made us feel old or stupid. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name. In the end, he didn’t charge us for his time either. Thank you for hiring such fantastic employees!

Not pleased with the service, they basically wasted my time. I went there to have my Google phone repaired under warranty. I was promised a same day repair three separate times. Anyway, they called my broken phone to update me and only called the contact phone number later in the evening. I found that bizarre, why ask for a contact number if youre just going to call the broken phone? It was at least seven times too, when do you realize you should try the other number that was left as a contact number? I was originally incredibly grateful they completed the phone same day, even though they tried to not complete the promised repair multiple times. However, I went in for an unresponsive screen and received a phone with a speaker phone that no longer works, although it worked just fine before hand. When I called them about it they told me too bad, wasnt their responsibility and that I should try the other Gainesville location. What??? So, now we are not even a month from my repair and the screen they replaced died. I only gave two stars because they accommodated me that day, although they ultimately completely wasted my time as they may have temporarily fixed the screen but left me with a broken phone still. The customer service was not incredible. I would recommend just going to the other location. Now I am back at square one, but I have already received excellent service from the UBreakIFix in San Antonio, Texas. Literally a night and day difference.

This was a 1-star experience redeemed by a 5-star corporate response. Had a smartphone screen replacement in March, and in early June it began to get wonky in touch sensitivity and response. Took it in, was told it would be ready in a few hours, no big deal. Upon arrival, I learned the phone had been reset to original settings, and that the techs werent replicating the problem... until they tried to demonstrate that there was no problem. As a result, I was told to bring it back the next day for a replacement if issues persisted, which they did.The next day, there was only one employee working the store the whole day, and as such, did not have the ability to conduct a repair due to a full queue of repairs already. Makes sense, things get backed up. Bring it in the day after that, and the screen will be replaced, no problem.Going into the third day of trying to solve this issue, there was suddenly a problem. The warranty on the repair supposedly expired a week prior (despite one tech already working on it and another planning to), the screen might not be the problem... it was a litany of excuses and reasons to not provide service already agreed upon. Upon venting to my wife about the third-day experience, she called corporate, and they arranged to have the phone repaired at the Archer Road location free of charge as was originally planned.1 star for the overall experience, but its boosted by the response.

This place is a hot mess... avoid if you don’t want to waste your time. I have been here a few times before the management changed and they were quick and efficient I came in today and the employees had no idea what were going on it was stressful watching.

I arrived with an iphone12pro that was frozen up, unresponsive and inadvertently calling 911. They reset the phone back to working condition and did NOT charge me for their time! These folks are courteous and helpful.

I brought my phone after having the screen replaced by another location after leaving it to be fixed for 24 hours. When going to pick it up on my lunch break I was told it would be another hour. Needless to say after coming back a second time. I left and returned home 30 miles a way only to find out I did not have a network connection. I spent a total of 6 hrs on my Family members phon with the carrier.. I decided to bring my phone in to Brandon and Alex who found that my antenna was not plugged in.I appreciate the excellent service and proffessional way they handled my situation. Boy did we get lucky when we found this place with our broken iPad in hand. They had just reopened yesterday ! Staff was super friendly and helpful not to mention knowledgeable. The person took a look, found a quick fix cause I told her it was old and I couldn’t pay a lot for a whole new thing. Don’t waste your time here. Extremely unprofessional. First they lost my Apple charger and instead of replacing it or refunding me the amount they gave me $20 for an $80 laptop. Then after they “fixed” my laptop for $200 I had to bring it back in, spend another $200 just to tell me later on my computer is broken. They buy used parts. Don’t waste your time and energy here.

When I brought my phone to uBreakiFix, I wasnt expecting any sort of view of what the repair process looked like. The store is designed for people who are not intimately familiar with the inner workings of technology, and while I dont necessarily fall into that category, I still chose to seek out professional help for my broken phone screen to ensure a smooth repair process. Unfortunately, my decision to do so has since led me to deal with poor communication and general unprofessionalism that will likely dissuade me from returning to this store ever again.As stated previously, I came to uBreakiFix with a broken phone screen, specifically that of my Google Pixel 4. Initially, when I dropped off my phone, I was told that the job would take about four hours. I dropped off the phone shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, so I was assured that the repair would be done by the end of the business day. However, shortly before 7:00 p.m. came around, I stopped by the store once more to pick up the phone and was told that the phone would need another hours worth of work the following morning. I was told that I would receive a call informing me that my phone was done by noon at the latest.The following day, I called the store via my girlfriends phone at 11:18 a.m. to check on the repair status. I was directed to the stores voicemail. Later, at 1:36 p.m., I decided to call once more. This time, I was able to reach someone. I was told that the technician was just starting to work on the phone. He would need at least an hour. At this point, my repair was taking three and a half business hours longer than I had been told it would.At 3:23 p.m., I received another call, this time to inform me that the screen had been successfully replaced. I was asked to provide my passcode so that they could test the reassembled hardware, and was assured that it would be ready for pickup within an hour. At 4:30 p.m., I was contacted again. The technician, named Michael, informed me that an issue had come up with the front-facing camera of the phone, and they would need to find another camera to test in its place. It is worth noting that the camera was completely functional prior to the repair, and I made this clear to Michael. He understood, and said he would call me back once he determined what was wrong. At 6:14 p.m., nearly two hours later, I was contacted again and told that Michael would need to obtain an extra camera from another uBreakiFix in Ocala before he could move forward with the repair. This would need to take place the following morning. I politely expressed my concerns over the amount of time involved in this repair, and he stated that he would discuss the issue with his manager in order to resolve the totally unacceptable situation.The following day, I did not receive any calls from uBreakiFix, so I called the store at 5:04 p.m. asking for updates. I was told that the phone had in fact been sent to Ocala for repair, and that Michael would call me in an hour with details. I have yet to receive another call from Michael.This brings me to today. I have received no calls at all thus far. My two calls to the store have both led to its voicemail. I have no idea where my phone is, nor its condition, nor when I will be able to pick it up, and I am currently prevented from two-factor authenticating into my UF student accounts mere days before the start of the summer semester.This behavior from this store is entirely unacceptable. To botch a repair is one thing, but to do so, then subsequently cut off all contact with your customer while withholding their property borders on theft. I understand that mistakes happen, but in the mobile computing era, basic transparency and efficiency are the bare minimum for a repair shop. While I am sure I will receive a functional device at the end of this affair, I regret ever reaching out to uBreakiFix. With a little work, anyone can replace a broken screen. Decent customer service, on the other hand, clearly takes a lot more effort than this company is willing to provide.

I showed up with a IPhone XR with the charging port not working at all. I came for a charging port repair and the tech took it to the back and blew it out, using their special tool. He came back within in 5 minutes charging port working great with no fee! Just a dirty port! The least I could do is give them a 5 star review for great service. Will come back for repairs in the future.

Told them Im dealing w stage 4 cancer and need my brand new phone to work. They took forever and suggested it only needed a new charger. Drove 40minutes back home to see they gave me the wrong one! I called and noone was bothered. They sent the new guy to return the wrong charger and he kept telling the others but noone wanted to help things along. He ended up charging me twice and it took 7 months of calling and stress to get that back.

They tried everything they could for hours to help me out with the problem I had that started out because of another cell place in town. I will definitely go back to them for any other problems

I went in to ask what tool I needed to take the hard drive out outof an old lap top. Zachary(I hope I remembered his name correctly) did more that I asked for or even expected. He took it out for me, told me what to do, and did not charge me for his time. I am very appreciative, will definitely go back again. 39th Ave.Woah.Dropped off at 2 yesterday for cracked screen repair.They brought out new screen and said give them 4 hours. Thought that was a bit long but ok. Called after 4 hours and was told it was not quite ready. I picked it up and nothing had been done. They promised today would be better if I would just come in earlier.. I fell for it. Dropped it off at 10. They called at noon and said they didnt have the part.Huh? Exit stage left. This location needs to be turned into a liquor store...
