I traveled to Delaware from Atlanta to visit family. My air conditioning starting leaking water in my car. It was a very hot week and I knew I needed to get it fixed. I went by Garage 36 and Justin and his crew were wonderful... They were friendly, welcoming and fixed my car by appointment the next day. The best part of all was the price was right! I wish I lived closer so that I could call the guys at Garage 36 my mechanics!!

I cannot recommend Garage 36 highly enough. They have serviced our 4 vehicles for everything from the little things to the big things since they have opened (we were Garage 26 customers and stayed and we are so happy we did!). What I love the most is I feel like they care about the service they provide and the relationship they have with their customers and the community. They always let me know the current condition of my vehicle, what upcoming maintenance I might need, and all costs are extremely fair and broken down on the invoice. Justin is always willing to talk to me about the cars and I trust his advice. It is so comforting to me to know my cars are in good hands! 5 stars!!!

The people at Garage 36 “go above and beyond” AND have gone “above and beyond” consistently to help us maintain our two family cars. They are reasonable, honest, prompt, professionals who do great work! This past week, they helped us out in discovering why our car quit on State Route 23 and had to be towed to their shop, and they did it as quickly as possible. If you are in the Delaware area and need car repairs, this is the the place to go!

Justin and his garage are absolutely the best! My vehicle sat for months, spent money that wasn’t even fixing the issue. I towed my van to the garage. Within the day I had answers with a price. A few days later I had to have my daughters car towed. If it wasn’t for Justin and his knowledge the car would be to the scrap yard. However, it’s at the dealership getting a new engine! I will never be able to appreciate Justin enough. I will always support him and this business!!

I was not happy with their service. They replaced a ti rod for me and they called me and said i needed an alignment so i went ahead and got one. A week later i bought new tires to put on at a local tire shop amd they said i need an alignment, i have a broken ball joint, and broken control arms. I told them i just got an alignment literally 1 week ago and they said there was no way i could have had one because its not possible to do an alignment with bad ball joint and broken control arms. So i wonder why garage 36 didnt call me and mention my broken control arms or broken ball joint? But they called and said i needed an alignment. So this is my second allignment in 1 week.

I am a single middle-aged woman, on a fixed income,so I may be a (vulnerable)target for a shady mechanic shop. But this was not the case; My brakes started grinding on Sunday night. Monday morning the sound was tremendously worse. it was gonna take at least a few days for other shops to even look at my car(and i need my car on a daily basis-just like most people). Anyways, I just happened to (accidentally)see this place b4 i got on freeway to go back to Marion(about 25 min away). (I know it was God)so i turned around. A very nice young man talked to me and gave me a heads up on what to expect(monetarily &work wise)-They got it in (immediately), worked on it while i walked downtown(for breakfast) (a few blocks away).The nice girl at the desk was (also)very informative. Anywayz, b4 i was done eating they called to tell me that my car was ready. I am more than pleased with this place.And would recommend them to everyone. They were fast, fair, very reasonable etc, etc. and the quality of work done on my breaks was excellent. God bless the reader.And God bless all those workers at that shop. I hope this helps :)

These guys are awesome. I walked in without an appointment. They changed and fixed my flat tire in 10 minutes and to top it all off they didn’t charge me anything. Their excellent service made me forget about the inconvenience of finding a flat tire right before going to work! Will definitely be going back there for other car issues when they come up.

My sister had told me about Garage 26. I’m one of those “skeptical” people when it comes to working on my car, because I know nothing about cars. Long story short, I had waited 6 months to get my pads, brakes, etc all fixed on my car. It was a really rough situation. Upon delivering my car, the owners were straight forward with me. They told me they would look at it and give me a price. They also stated that mechanics have such a bad rep, they are straight honest with their clients. (I really appreciated that). After a day waiting, the receptionist called me and gave me a price. I immediately agreed to it..once I went to pick up my car, the mechanic told me everything they did, why they did it, and checked everything else on my car to make sure it was safe to drive. Garage 26 is highly reputable, professional, and honest. They are now my only mechanic shop I’ll go to.

Don is trustworthy, and thorough. He saved me hundreds of dollars, after going to him for a second opinion when the AC quit working in my Pilot. He doesn’t overprice and he’s honest. I couldn’t be more satisfied when it comes to their service.

If you live within 20 miles of this place I highly recommend the extra travel. Don always has the best price and the best service. His staff is very transparent and for a young woman who doesn’t know anything about cars, they are always informative. Recently had my truck fixed, they had given me some tips on how to take care of the truck considering it’s a bit older to avoid similar issues. My partner just bought a new car and before we purchased, don was willing to have me bring the car in for inspection to make sure that it was a sound investment. Love this place and love this staff. I did a little research before I took my car here for the 1st time, as I always try to do with a new business. I heard good things about Garage 26 on nextdoor.com, so I looked them up on Google & found many more good reviews. My daughter bought a used car, & we wanted it inspected for the peace of mind that any issues it might have would be properly resolved while it was under a 90-day warranty. She called Garage 26 & got an appointment right away. We took it in & found all staff we encountered to be very friendly & professional. Though we did not wait on the car, the waiting room was clean, retro-cool, & stocked with the usual things to do, as well as a few snacks/drinks. The cars inspection was completed in a quick, timely manner. I was promptly contacted & Don took the time to go through his findings on the car, answered any questions I had, & never made me feel stupid about asking them. His price for the inspection couldnt be beat & I feel reassured that when my daughter heads back to college, her car will be reliable. If anything does happen with the car, I know where I will be taking it to be fixed: Garage 26!

Great place to get work done on an automobile! Every time I have had to get any work done they are very easy and honest to deal with. Always get a fair price and quick service. I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with Don and his staff. Ive had a full engine re-build, all 4 tires replaced with recommendations from Don and my trucks gas mileage even went up. I will always consult with Don and his crew about my families vehicles and refer everyone i know to his service. I would say that you need to understand scheduling repairs just like you would any professional service, remember Garage 26 is a professional operation and they will do their best to help you. Great work and fast turnaround

The waiting room is bright, clean and cheerful, and there is a nice offering of beverage options for customers who are waiting. They did a great job with my oil change. The service was complete and timely, and I feel like they took good care of my vehicle. No bells and whistles - they didnt vacuum the car or anything - but they did the oil change and checked all my fluid levels and whatnot... and at a fantastic price! Will definitely bring our cars to Garage 26 in the future!!

I have used Don (owner) to work on my cars for years and was so excited when he opened a new place! He has always been open and honest and performed the highest quality work- and only work that needs to be done. I know I can trust what he tells me. Went in for my breaks and rotors to be replaced. They did just that. Afterwards I started hearing a weird sound coming from my car. Had them check it out to see if they could help. Couldnt figure out exactly where it was coming from but the sound went away thankfully after around 2 weeks. Since then I havent had any issues with the repair.

Very nice, they have a clean waiting room with toys and books for kids, cold drinks, coffee. Fair priced and kind polite people. We will definitely be going back to them for anything else that we need fixed of our vehicles

Nice, honest, knowledgeable people! I took our 07 Honda Odyssey in for rear brakes, an alignment, and a rattling sound when accelerating. At first they said I needed new everything for my brakes. After digging into it, they were able to reuse a part and saved me $100. They also said I didnt need an alignment, just rotate tires and get the pressure right. They also fixed the rattling (heat shield). They didnt have to tell me they reused a part, and they could have gone ahead and done the alignment and charged me for it, but they didnt. The van feels and sounds great! Honesty will get you everywhere! We will definitely return to Garage 26 for any future car care needs we have.

Reasonable and efficient. Had my car done faster than i expected. Really nice and explained everything to me. Even showed me the parts needing replaced. Been looking for a honest, local, go to place for my car- think I found it!

Brought my Passat in to check for a coolant leak. They were quick to get it in and out. Follow-up visit after the UV dye was added and they found a few loose hose fasteners and tightened them up. Only time will tell if that was the primary leak, but I appreciate the quick service and reasonable pricing.UPDATE: Still leaking. I brought it back in and they looked. They found the real leak fairly quick and didnt charge anything for it. Definitely coming back.UPDATE 2: These guys are great, but I would recommend you not bring European cars here. The books they go by bill their labor far too high for basic things like serpentine belts.

Went in to ask for quote on over $700 worth of work to my SUV. Hefty retired Marine looking gentleman/ owner tried humiliating me in front of two gawking, silent staff members, likely because I am a woman. This Man is stuck in the 50s! He needs to take his clear plastic spotless furniture back to the 50s where he belongs! He needs to learn how to treat customers with decency and respect. I dont care if youve been in business 40 years or 2 days... a smile and kind words can go a long way, and none was offered, in fact, quite the opposite. I will NEVER RETURN! Don is a great mechanic who doesnt over-charge for his services.

Charges us for a incorrect diagnosis then after towing the vehicle towed twice to the shop, we were charged a second time and told they didnt know what the issue way after two weeks. The dealer fixed it within one day. Faulty fuse box and has worked for months since.

Quick responses, fair pricing, and my car is like new! Not to mention their popcorn is pretty darn good and Don is a hoot to chat with.

I stopped in on my way to work because I had a few minutes just to see what was causing a squeak in the brakes. LIZ got me right in took a look at them explain what was wrong and then email me a quote I was in and out in 20 minutes there was no charge and Ill be taking my car back for service to get the brakes done.
