Used to be my go-to place for both women and mens dress cloths. For some reason, it seems to be losing that touch. Not sure why, could be the desolution of Sears and Lord and Taylor who were two out of their three competitors: a true testament to the statement that competition drives quality.

The staff that Ive dealt with have been great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The store had everything I was looking for. It is very clean.

Are you kidding me. It was 100 degrees outside And 100 degrees in the store. Unbelievable. Poor kid working the register was spent. How do they get away with this???

I feel sorry for there employees. It was so hot in that store. Someone told us that there air-conditioning has never worked properly. Something needs to be done. Ill shop there come fall.

Had to buy a dress shirt so I hit the men’s dept at the QB Mall JCPenny. There was absolutely no help on the floor in this area. The cash register was staffed by one woman who was slower than molasses. When I first got in line, I had two customers in front of me. By the time it was my turn to checkout, I counted ten people behind me. Both of the customers before me had to have overrides done by the manager due to the cashiers errors, or their system was not synced to the advertised prices. The cashier was also overheard by me arguing with her manager over the phone while everyone was waiting and getting frustrated. The man before me actually went back to the rack and brought the actual sign to the register for her to see the advertised price since the scan wasn’t accurate. The staffing level was inadequate for the amount of shoppers, and the staff working didn’t seem to be on their A-game. Next time I’ll stick with Macy’s, where I had made a purchase an hour earlier with a very positive experience.

Went to JCPenneys go get my some swim shorts & they had them & they were a nice buy. Give it a 4 because customer service/staff seemed to not really care about nothing no smiles or friendly vibes just business- buy & go

There was a good selection of items to choose from. I must wear a popular size because they were out of a vew garments I wanted. Regardless, I left with more than I intended to find there.

Ill always like J C Penney, Im sure. But hugely disappointed in misleading pricing in the mens Department this visit. Apparently their Lee Total Freedom Relaxed Fit khakis were on sale, but the identical in every seeming way Lee Relaxed Fit Total Freedom khakis were not on sale. Talked to a sales clerk about it, and then a service desk attendant about it, and all they could do was defer to the fact that their scanners said they were priced different. I even showed them the sale price signage above the khakis and pointed out that anyone looking at that displays signage would not realize that the two purportedly different Lee khakis all mixed together by size would cost differently. All that apparently mattered was what the barcode scanners said.

Other than the shoe department being an absolute disaster area, I love JCPenney!

I really enjoyed my short-lived shopping time here. Theres option of owning a membership card which affords eligible customers some extra discounts on purchased items. The main entrance to the store is wheelchair accessible. It is a kid-friendly place.

JCP is my favorite store to get clothing, makeup, purses, just about everything. But... The corporation doesnt make shopping easy with messy stores, tight spaces and aisles, slow checkout, and discrepancies between the ads/signage and what actually rings up. I still shop there but with frustration.

Predatory pricing policies! Prices are very high in store, but are often in promotions especially online, 10% up to 70%. Do not buy anything if not in promotion!Easy returns.

My go-to store for sweaters and pants. Always a large selection of items on sale. Believe it or not, I bought a beautiful pair of diamond studs at a remarkable price. They have a brilliant sparkle - I call it spinning. Great place for toddler clothing also.

I went into the store to order blinds. I wanted to go with a company that would measure and install them, so if anything went wrong, it wouldn’t be a hassle or costly to fix them. I sat with the employee for a half hour to put my order into the system and then was told I had to wait for someone to call and schedule the measurements. So, I got a phone call, had the person come a few days later, and then had to go back to the store with the measurements. I get ready to place the order at the store with the measurements, but my entire order had been messed up, and we had to spend another 30+ minutes re-doing the entire order. About two weeks later, my blinds came. Three days before the blinds were supposed to come, on a Saturday night around 9pm, I get a phone call, which I couldn’t answer, letting me know the blinds would be here in a few days and they would like to schedule a time for someone to come and install them. Since I didn’t answer, they left a voicemail that they would call again in a day or two. Five days later, I called them saying I was waiting to get a call back, but never did. The manager apologized and told me someone should contact me in the next four days. On the evening of the fourth day, I called the store again saying I was never contacted. The manager apologized again and said he was unsure why no one contacted me and he would push this up to his manager and she would call me the next day. On the evening of the next day, I called the store because I never heard from the manager. It had officially been over a week that the blinds had been delivered. She told me all she could do was send an email to the third vendor company to ask them to reach out. Again, I was never contacted. Two weeks later, I finally found someone else to come in and install the blinds. One of the blinds was missing a wand (to open and close them) and one was defective and wouldn’t go all the way down to the window sill. Now, I have to wait for another blind to come in to take down the defective one and re-install the new one and then bring the defective one back to the store.To say that I will never be shopping at JC Penney again is an understatement.

Walked out after shopping for an hour. One register open with 8 people in line. MANY employees folding clothes and talking. Never again.

Grear store to renew your wardrobe.

Good place for ladies business wear. Just know if you are on the smaller side or shorter, you more than likely will need to order your size. Good prices for decent quality items that hold up. Their juniors selections are a bit on the cheaper end but you pay for what you get. Their home selections are what is really worth visiting for and even better if you can catch a sale!

The associated are always nice; what I didnt care for was that I couldnt locate the plus size active wear section 🤨 Im larger than a size 18. I made a return from online for active wear and wanted to maybe see what they had inside the store... Nothing...

I had to pick up some blinds. The people there were the most helpful I have come across. I got there 15 minutes before closing, told them exactly what I needed, and was done with time to spare!

I have had one headache after another because I made the mistake of trying to buy a chair from your online furniture department...three chairs delivery and two returns later I now have to fight with a voice on the phone to get the 372.12 off my bill...I hope that your company gets out of the online furniture business..before you lose your good service REPUTATION...I will warn my friends and family to go to a store and not waste their time...get your act together👎

Sephora employee was very nice and attentive but didnt hover too much which I really liked. She was kind and cheerful. Very clean and organized 👍

You can always be sure to find a great deal here without ever looking at the clearance. 70 dollar boots for 19 bucks. 90 dollar amazing dress for 30.. but if u looking for something expensive with a brand name then its not for u. Best time to shop a deal is anytime but best time to see their best display of stuff is during holidays. I love their petite dresses.

All items that I wanted were picked through. Open bags when looking for underwear i found 300 packs of the same size, but known of the others

I just had an appointment at the JC Penney Salon, with, ( Master Stylist),Sandra Kidd. She is amazing, well informed and so caring! I will highly recommend her to my friends!

First time shopping Penneys, buying a washing machine. Great experience. Saleswoman Pat matched a big box appliance stores lower price, and she was ever so friendly and personable.

Second time getting my childrens christening dress here. They have always been helpful and nice.

Worst hair salon ever. Rude, obnoxious, disrespectful staff (at least the one I had to deal with who didn’t even have the curtesy to tell me her name, she’s the one wearing some sort of a head band) first I scheduled an appt with Amber who never showed up then when I told that lady I need someone to do my hair since I paid for the babysitter she said she would do it, did a bad job, was very mean and rude I’m not sure why, and even tho she knew I was on a hurry, it took her for ever to check me out, told me the treatment was free then wanted to charge me for it. Would not recommend for anyone

Its nearest jcp store. The associate never helps to find something. Only checkout associate are friendly. In busy holiday season long lines at all checkout section. Restrooms are not clean. If you are lucky then you get good associate at checkout.

I needed to get some clothes for my sons concert - basic stuff, white polo shirt, black pants. The clothes were on sale and there was a decent selection to choose from. I also got him some dress shoes, a great bargain at $19.99. The only drawback was that there is no customer service anywhere in the boys department. We needed to wander to 2 different places to find a cashier to purchase the clothes and shoes.I wanted to give a 3.5 star rating but I can only give 3 stars or 4 stars. So today I was generous.

Went to buy a suit, shirt ect. expected to pay over $200, very good brand of clothing. Ended only paying under $60. Had a very good experience and Sam was very helpful.

Its JCPenneys. Pretty much everyone is familiar with the store. This particular store has bad service. Its difficult to find any help. And theyre not particularly helpful when you do find them. The prices arent as good as they used to be. Shop the bargains or shop when theres a coupon.

Usual department store experience... went bathing suit shopping and got a good deal on mine but when I got to the register thinking my boyfriends quit was 50% off, I found out that the sign was misleading and I would have to buy a second suit to get the sale price. Also, the ladies swimsuit section was a complete disorganized mess! Thelady at register was super sweet though. All in all, a good shopping trip.

5pm and only one check out open on 2nd floor. Im not blaming the woman at the register, it not her fault. But I waited in a long line because JCP had only one register open. This is why people shop online...DREADFUL customer service!

Customer service I dealt with was good, but I overheard a few conversations between associates there that made my eyebrows raise -- in terms of content -- and I heard one associate helping a customer that was probably helpful but the way she was speaking wasnt professional in any way, shape, or form. They dont have the staff required to keep the place clean and organized. The dressing rooms were catastrophic and finding a dress was a bit difficult. You cant beat some of their prices though, and I ended up trading in a dress I just got from Macys to two I found at JCP that were much prettier and nicer, and the woman at the register helped me get a great deal.

Im only giving a 5-star to JCPenney because they got one valuable customer service rep name m a d a n one of the best in the store hands down.
