Very good place to buy & enjoy smoking at the Humidor

If you LOVE Cigars, then Club Humidor will become your first Love!!! This place is perfect for a good and relaxing smoke with a few friends. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the selection of cigars.

This place and the people who work there are the best!!! Especially Ed Petrie! I go in once a month, (sometimes every other month), and he knows exactly what I’m there for, Straight Sweet Virginia cigarette tobacco and tubes.They make you feel like you are important and they make you feel like they are happy to see you again!And the tobacco is the best, better than anything I’ve ordered online someplace else. It’s straight up tobacco, a smooth smoking experience.AND they will ship out your tobacco to your home if you can’t get to them.These guys rock!!!!

Best cigar selection in town and I enjoy meeting clients there a couple of times per month. Very relaxed setting with lots of seating to enjoy your cigar without feeling crowded.

Great shop. Came in Friday and asked about a specific stick, unfortunately they were out but aide was phenomenal. Not only did he point me to a similar stick, he also informed me about the release of top 25 cigars and which they had on hand. When asked what cigars I liked, he offered suggestions without being pushy. I purchased 4 sticks and decided to go back 4 days later. The help was phenomenal-just as helpful without pressuring. Nice assortment and the lounge is a bonus.

Great Cigar Shop/Club. Im not a regular but was passing through town and found their selection to be on par with Stogies or other higher end cigar shops. The folks were helpful and knowledgable. The smoke area was good with room for about 15-20 people and 2 TVs. They have cigar boxes for sale as well as smoking accessories, humidors etc.... They have pipe tobacco, pipes, and accessories as well. Good overall shop with good smoke and relax atmosphere. They also have room on the porch out front if you would rather smoke outside. Only negative is that they close so early (7 I think). Would definitely shop again and chill and smoke again.

Very Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff and Wide Selection at reasonable prices with comfortable lounge to smoke with peacefully with mild music creates the perfect blend! I became a Club Humidor member right away. Took my sons for a smoke and had a great time!

I usually shop at Fincks but was nearby so I stopped to get a cigar. I went into the humidor and an employee followed me around while I was shopping. It was really creepy and uncomfortable. No thanks.

First time there. Experienced great, and knowledgeable service, lots of butane lighters, cutters, and accessories at a fair to costly price. Humidor had a great large selection of fine cigars of all strengths. Will visit again when back into town.

Excellent selection of cigars. Purchased a box of a new release. Sat and enjoyed a cigar with a close friend celebrating his 87th birthday. A fabulous way to start the day.

An exceptional cigar lounge. In town for just a few days, found this location by a google search. So glad I decided to take a chance on coming here. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Excellent selection, fantastic atmosphere, and a very comfortable environment. Would highly recommend anyone in San Antonio to visit you will not be disappointed.

Dapper gents abound in this quaint little establishment. While it doesnt look like much from the outside, the interior is sublime. The service, stock, atmosphere, and prices are all worth giving this shop a try. Whether your first time or if you want to relax in on of the many comfy recliners, youre always welcome. I was there on May 26th 2020 the woman that helped me did a great job at showing me pipe tobacco cherry jubilee is now one of my favorite blends. I was there between 2 and 3 p.m. she was very helpful and willing to give excellent options please keep her around cuz she will definitely keep me coming back for references

Finally I find a good Cigar Shop!!! I felt like a kid in a Candy Shop. Theirs a pleasant amount of selection to choose from. A nice aroma when you walk in. Cigars are well kept. Ill definetly be returning.

Amazing place, knowledgeable staff, very accommodating. Outstanding atmosphere, spacious, clean, filled with accessories for any tobacco enthusiast. Their walk in humidor is as close to perfect as one could imagine. Not one stick out of place. The extensive selection of top quality cigars offers something for everyone. It was our first time there, it was awesome!!. I was there with my two daughters have a mother daughter day, this was a new experience for them. The very kind, patient and knowledgeable tobacconist. He gave us so much information and it was interesting. He started us with a short mild we sat in the VIP room. This room was leather sofas & chairs, with fire place. This room even had history. It was so relaxing to smoke a cigar drink coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. Other smokers greeted us and gave us information and why they love cigars. Like I said truly awesome experience.

The staff is incredibly pretentious and act as if theyre better than you. I guess I shouldnt be outraged by that, thats who they service mostly after all.The first time I came I came with my younger sister I was able to go into the humidor and buy cigars with her waiting in the main lobby without a problem. The second time I came, both of my younger siblings were with me, and I was told I couldnt buy anything because I could be buying them tobacco.I dont understand how the first time was any different, but at least they didnt get my money a second time. One star for the decent selection.

This was not a difficult choice to rate Club Humidor 5 stars, wish i could rate higher. First off, when you walk in immediately youre greeted by friendly staff coupled with excellent visual presentation. Plenty of space in the store and aroma is amazing. Many Humidors or Cigar clubs give off an unpleasant or pompous vibe, this is not the case here. The staff was knowledgeable and gave the right amount of space while browsing the extensive inventory... You dont get the vibe of a pushy car salesman. All my favorite Cigars were easy to find and at a competitive price. I would absolutely recommend anyone to this location.

Dont go here! Worst cigar shopping experience in my 40 years of smoking cigars! Ive been buying cigars before some of the staff were born. Followed me around and stood guard as if they had gold bricks in the humidor. Visiting from Houston and Googled cigar shops so I decided to give them a visit. Ill never return!

Where you can find a fine Dominican cigar

A great place to hang out and smoke cigars. They have a huge and reasonably priced selection of smokes together with some comfa areas to enjoy them. Definitely not for people who dont like the smell of cigar smoke but for the rest of us this is a little paradise hiding on San Pedro. Dont be afraid to ask for advice - Ive had some good recommendations even on a tiny budget. Its a pleasure to watch my money go up in smoke! :-)

Avoid at all costs, horrible CS. Guy was pretentious and knew nothing about cigars. I asked for something sweet and he showed me the flavored sticks, told him I wanted something naturally sweet not flavored. Dude copped an attitude and told me he didnt understand naturally sweet, that all he knew was flavored and natural and all naturals taste the same to him. This guys unwavering lack of knowledge is beyond laughable, he should stick to swisher sweets if he doesnt know how to appreciate a good stick, or at the very least know how to analyze the various flavor profiles for the sake of paying customers. Hit up Finks, better selection, prices, and their staff is comprised of knowledgeable friendly tobacconist, not pretentious douchebags.

Club Humidor has been constantly reliable for many years. The selection is most remarkable and there are plenty of choices for whatever tobacco medium you prefer to smoke. Also, the staff is great and always helpful. I must give a special callout to Don who is a true tobacconist and undoubtedly knows his subject matter.

Went in to see the selection of cigars and after taking with the sales guy I bought 2. Knowledgeable, friendly and willing to explain all the differences in the cigars they had. Also this place is cool because it doubles as a lounge. Great way to unwind without getting drinks at a bar...

This is a nice lounge and the recent remodel is decent. The design is pretty good with small groupings. It lacks the comunal feel of a gathering of friends and instead feels more like a place for 2 people to meet for business.The humidor is well stocked and priced slightly higher than Fincks but always a great selection of premium, ultra premium, and everyday cigars.They now have horrific laminated sets of rules that seem quite draconian and ruin the feel of a lounge instead making it clear they are all business. Every place needs rules, but you dont have to make them sound mean and harsh in the delivery.

I dont smoke but my brother does. I needed a gift for him, so I decided to go. The gentleman who helped me was gracious and asked all the right questions when I told him I knew nothing about cigars. I was in and out within minutes and my brother said they were very good.

I work downtown and often smoke a cigar during my lunch break. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and offer great suggestions based on the tastes of the individual customers. (Location has since closed, January 2018). Other Humidor locations open in the area.

I went to the Thousand Oak location for a certain product for a Father Day gift. That location was out of stock but they called this location to have said product held for me. Asked for suggestions on Olivia cigars at this location and the sales person was unwilling to give any help. I will return to Thousand Oaks location for future purchases. 👎🏻

Awful experience! Walked in the store and got an attitude from the little bearded guy within 5 seconds of being there. Went to the walk in humidor and tried to open the door. The same guy pushed the door closed out of my hand. He rudely said what do you want? I explained I do not know what they have so I would like to browse first. He escorted me into the walk-in humidor but had an attitude any time I asked about a cigar. I purchased four premium cigars totaling over $100. I asked about to go humidifiers. They had no clue what I was talking about. I highly recommend going somewhere else for your cigars.

Ed is my man! Very helpful for this novice to the cigar world. Have enjoyed a different assortment of smokes from this store. Gift purchases have also been a hit for the men in my world.P.S. Those bad reviews are over a year old, and far from the current reality. Place is great.

The staff was very nice. I walked in with my good friend without a clue of what to look for besides a Arturo Fuente cigar. The staff on that Saturday was very nice and non judgmental. I asked for what was similar but different. The gentleman recommended a few different types and I loved it. Wish I was in San Antonio longer than a year to visit this place more than twice. Would recommend for newbies!

I walked in expecting very little after reading the bad reveiws. Knowing exactly what I was in the mood for, I headed straight for the humidor. The employee followed me immediately and was watching me from ten feet away. Pretty annoying I know. But they had a great selection, and other than the employees being body guards to the cigars, it was a nice place with plenty of options in both tobacco and accessories.

Employee was extremely rude. I just got married and wanted to get a fine celebratory cigar. I normally dont smoke cigars and I asked the employee what was a good cigar. Employee told me I dont know just name one. In shock from his response, I said Nicaraguan I guess. He walked into the humidor and handed me a cigar. I asked him what was it? He said Nicaraguan just like you asked. I told him you are rude and no thank you. Very dissapointed with the place.

Awful experience with this shop. What seemed to be the owner was very disrespectful to myself and friends. He asked us what we were looking to buy and we replied dont know just yet, nothing expensive. The man then sarcastically said, fine, have a GREAT day and stormed off. Thinking he was joking we continued through the store. As we walked into the humidor, the same person was inside, saw us then asked, so Ill ask again, what do you want to get? At this point we realized that he was being serious with the attitude towards his customers. We immediately left and will NEVER return to this foul establishment. Customer service was absolutely disgusting

In all honesty worst experience. The other locations have great customer service and friendly attitudes. Note i have bought several cigars in the past from this location but this gentlemen ( bald guy) that works always has a rude persona and really just brushes you off. All I ask was how good a particular brand of cigar would be. He rants off saying its name brands, etc.... all I wanted to know if it has a good draw,full bodied, does it light easy, things of that nature. Instead I get no real valuable information from the cigar, like I do in the other locations. All in all I rather just go to the other locations.

I was paying for my cigar, when he announced this to a group of men that walked in. He proceeded to tell them to wait their turn for the humidor, as someone was already in there, in a manner one would tell a child! I certainly would have walked out with some choice words for this twit had it been directed at myself. Thank goodness Finks is expanding to more locations.... will not be back!

Sales people follow you like a hawk, are pushy, and will not let you gently handle any cigar. I get it, some people dont know what theyre doing, but if I cant touch and sniff a cigar (without touching my nose to it) I am not going to purchase. You lost at least a $200 sale today, my recommendation, and all of my future business.
