IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, & CANT DO A SIMPLE JOB AND A TIMELY MANNER. They have a 2.5 rating for a reason!!! Do yourself a favor and go to another mechanic. I dropped my car off 36 hours ago! And they still havent even done a diagnostic. The front desk lady is rude and disrespectful and the mechanic doesnt seem to even remember what he originally quoted me.

I called these guides and they couldnt even give me a honest quote over the phone to fix my transmission. They are full of hypotheticals. Thats normally a warning sign that they are pricey. Plus the guy put down other professional quotes I got from other shops. Claiming theyre better and they give you your moneys worth. All just chatter and hot air to me.

I couldnt believe how polite and easy going the people were at amco they walked me through everything got back with me and a timely manner and my car is going to be fixed and guaranteed what else could you ask for thank you I give him five stars

I got my transmission rebuilt here and they did a great job. Great customer service. Andy told me what was wrong and the price he qouted me was what I paid. Would trust my Cadillac Escalde anytime with them. Got it done in 3 days. Very satisfied. Recommend to everyone. Great and understanding staff.

Ok I had a transmission go out on my Toyota car. I had a shop to take it to but the guy was very busy due to his honesty and good work. So I shopped around and called AAmco. I spoke with the service guy .... he convinced me that he could save me money. He said how do you know it’s the transmission? So I decided to give him a try....the bottom line is it’s a game to get you in. He later called me with options like three different possible prices and it could go up. I had the tow come and pick my car up the next day and back to my trust mechanic. Who gave me a straight up price out the door with no issue and I saved $400.

Professional correspondence, worked to fix what a second rate transmission shop did not fix correctly, with a decent price all things considered.

Very professional, had multiple financial assistance programs to get our car back on the road.

Good work but management sucks need to work on there people skills and mathematics.

Called ahead and AAMCO said they would have the car diagnosed 5pm the next day. 2nd day they never looked at it. The 3rd day they said they didnt know when theyd get to it. Had to bring the car to a different shop (Jerls) who had the car diagnosed in 2 hrs and the repair done in 24 hrs. Very disappointed with AAMCOs poor communication.

I just asked a few questions about my car. The customer service was great. When or if I am able to get my car checked out with them, I will give a rating on that encounter.

A good shop, take care of their customers. Have been using this shop since about 2008. Update, so my oldest was set on buying an Audi, 08. She did, and when she took it in for service, found out previous owners didnt maintain as well as said. Andy took great care of my daughter, helping her find the best choice to make for her car, I have to agree with him, made perfect sense to repair, rather then try to flip the car, and possibly end up with the same situation, but a different vehicle.

This place is a wonderful place to get your car fixed. I did not have enough money but they found me financing to help me pay for the repairs. The manager is Stella and Andy were absolutely amazing. We would recommend them for all of your car care needs.

Being a local customer and senior citizen, it always seems too be a little difficult too get help now days. I did a walk in to AAMCO located downtown Riverside. Off market St. And I was able to get the help and work done on time. Great customer service and I recommend them to whom ever needs there car repairs.

If AAMCO Andy would’ve went down just $100, I would’ve had them rebuild my 6l80 for $3,400. On top of that, he hangs up the phone on me when I wouldn’t agree with the price. Then he proceeds to submitting finance applications to 2 different lenders, when I clearly told him to wait, so we can work on the price. He does this after he hangs up the phone on me. BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE! When I sent the tow truck back to pick up my truck from their shop, he gives the tow company a hard time, saying that I have to pay the bill before he can release the truck to them. WHAT BILL ANDY? YOU DIDN’T PAY FOR THE TOW, I DID. I believe he was mad that I was towing my truck to get fixed at another shop for $900 cheaper than his quote. When I asked for how much the rebuild was going to cost in TOTAL, he quoted me $3,600.00, but then proceeded to say that it can be more if the pump, and hard parts were damaged. He wouldn’t give me a set price. He went on to say that it can go upwards of $3,900.00+, depending on what else is damaged in the transmission. Andy needs to change his attitude when it comes to customers willing to work with their expensive prices. You provide a service. You just need to realize that you’re not the only one providing that service. You lost $3,400.00 in revenue because you thought you could hang up the phone on me and think I’d call you back. I’m not one of those customers. I know what I have and what it’s worth. Have great day.

If you live in Riverside County I Highly recommend AAMCO-Riverside over any other city in the county. Professional staff all around, especially the mechanics. I had a bad situation at the AAMCO-Moreno Valley. I dont trust that shop after the problem i was having with their mechanic and the manager. ANDY from AAMCO-Riverside helped me out with all the repairs needed to fix the problem the other shop did not do. He was able to credit me labor charge from the previous job done at AAMCO-Moreno Valley and applied it towards the repairs needed on my transmission. Over all he did a great job with my car that I now trust my car to drive from CALIFORNIA to COLORADO. My car is a 2001 focus with 254k and it feels great now.THANKS ANDY!!

This place is great. They were very informative. They kept me up to date with my vehicle and they ways informed me of any hiccups they ran into along the way. I will be bringing more of my vehicles here. The front desk help was nice and professional. And one things that I love is when someone tells me when my vehicle is ready and its actually ready on time. This business did that and I was very appreciative of the honesty that came along with doing business with them.

Hands down the worst place I ever taken a vehicle worst experience ever and after all that money and credit my truck still does not run right. I have to take my truck back for the 3rd time in less then a month. Oh and lets not forget the body demand to my truck still no answer. Very disappointing

Go anywhere but here. They had my Jeep for a week to fix an issue that was not fixed. Additionally, I had to keep calling to find out the status of my vehicle, each time I was told by Andy, that they were really busy because customers wanted their cars back that day (yeah I was one of those customers). Mind you, I dropped my vehicle off on Saturday, and was told it would be looked at on Monday, and I would receive a call letting me know what’s wrong with it, and it should be returned to me on Wednesday. When I called on Tuesday (after not receiving a phone call on Monday), Andy told me they had not even looked at it. Each time I called it seemed like a huge inconvenience for them, really? I’m paying you for a service!The issue I was having was with my transmission (found this out by taking it elsewhere) not my clutch, which they said needed to be replaced. I literally spent over twelve hundred dollars to drive off their lot with the same issue I drove on the lot with!?!? I had high hopes for this place, unfortunately I was let down. Trust me, go somewhere else.

Im very unhappy with my experience. I brought my car in to get fix. My transmission has been rebuilt twice and now needs to get repaired again... I paid 2700 bucks way more than I could afford but still my transmission is bad.

Asked a question about tires. He said he doesn’t do tires and hung up whilst I was speaking lol

The last time I was at Aamco was in the late 60s!!! I swore I would never return.When I found out that NO ONE would work on the make and type of vehicle I own...... except Aamco (other than a dealer), I was NOT happy about taking my car there, but I did, with the full expectation of a law suit to follow.WOW! was I wrong. The people working there NOW, are wonderful! From Lance at the front desk, to Adrian (shop Mgr), to Victor (an ace mechanic), these guys figured out a problem that THREE other shops could not find.....and they did it in ONE DAY.I will not hesitate to return, or to recommend them to anyone. This shop is NOW the type of shop that you wouldnt be afraid to send your wife or daughters to. And, to all of you guys out there......you KNOW what Im talking about.This shop is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. However, they may very well be the BEST in all of the Inland Empire!Kudos to all you guys at Riverside Aamco, and the incredible 180 youve done!

Today i dropped off my truck for the third time in the past 10 months for a recurring transmission issue. Each time i drop it off they keep it for a month and i have to pay for a rental or beg for a ride to work ir the grocery store. Not easy considering im a DISABLED VETERAN. I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this time the new man at the front desk was rude and disrespectful. The previous man was nicer, despite the shoddy work from this AAMCO location. I should have heeded the poor reviews that people left here. The owner os a nice guy and i trusted him, but it appears that I am wrong. This all happened with them seeing my PURPLE HEART license plates issued by the state of California.

Very disappointed, I already put around 5 transmissions in less than 3 years. I am afraid to drive the car. Its not okay.

I came in to have my 2008 Honda pilot transmission worked on. Chris was very nice and professional helped me. Initially I wanted to have the transmission rebuilt. But Chris suggested I go with a low mileage transmission that he found for me that suposively had 65k miles. So i went with Chris suggestion. What a bad decision I came back 9 months later with anither shot transmission. So now I have to either fork out another $2085 for another used probably not reliable transmission or another $3000 for a rebuilt. To make a long story short and a little FORE-WARNING DO NOT BUY. A USED TRANSMISSION FROM HERE THEIR VENDOR IS UNRELIABLE. BUT CHRIS IS A GREAT GUY.

Theyre only out to get as much money as they can get from you. After a diagnostic they informed me I needed a new engine which for my car was in supply and demand cost about $12,000 easily. Found out later on while trying to sell my car that it was never my engine but my fuel pump that was the problem. An easy fix for about $200. Also they sabotaged my car to further convince me.Taking out my spark plugs and all. Due to my lack of knowledge on cars had I went through with it I wouldve lost so much money. Check with multiple places before you make a decision.

Aamco transmissions is a great place to get you car fixed when your in a pickle. They are fast with repairing, great quality when it comes to car care, and friendly employees that are very helpful.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!! Spent 3k on a trans swap..brought it home. Gears slipped went to limp mode. The owners didn’t even test or rule out the valve body. Who does that?! Instead of reviewing every aspect of the trans “oh you guys mess it up”...how? They blamed us that we bottomed out the pan/ under body of car...We had it looked at else where and they couldn’t understand how we would do that when the bottom of car was not damaged just the pan of the swapped trans. They said we broke the warranty....no they sold us a bum trans. They just played us BAAADDD and made us think we ruin the car when it we didnt do anything. My husband is a tech but with busy schedules you’d think a major brand could just do it right. WRONG!!!3k wasted!!!! We bought a new valve body and solenoids...cost $600. My 2005 530i NOW runs perfectly. We repeatedly told them what the problem was but all they did was just drive it around and said there was no issue..DO NOT GO HERE! If you do....YOU’ve been WARNED!!! I’d give no stars if I could. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!!! They do not know what they are doing...Actually they do they know how to SCAM!!

I took my car for a transmission check, it had no problems with the cooling system before, when they gave it back to me, a piece to my coolant resivor was broken, causing my car to overheat, they said it was all a matter of time for it to break and wanted me to pay for repairs. I do not recommend coming to this place.

After 3 shops told me my check engine light on required additional diagnostics from $89.00 to $390.00, Aamco riverside changed my gas cap and cleared the code. A short time later my car finally passed smog! Thanks!
