Every time I go in here whether it’s to sell clothes or shop I always walk out hyped. The employees are also super helpful n respectful. I also find a lot of random skateboarding tshirts in there. Highly recommend this place.

NOT WORTH IT. The experience of this place is not worth the time or energy!! Selling your clothes here is most definitely not worth it, they treat you like second-class citizens. The OLDer lady behind the counter is so rude and clearly doesn’t know anything about good customer service. She probably rubbed off on her employees, assuming she’s the owner. Which makes me so sad, since the rest of the staff are most likely in their teens. What a poor example to be leading for young women. SUPER disappointing for Long Beach.

Tattered is right. That 80 year old in a crop top, probably the owner, will trash talk in front of you. Reeks of privilege. If you’re brown, black, or plus sized, don’t expect a warm welcome.

The staff were very friendly. So much better than Plato’s closet. They only pay you 30% in cash than the price they will sell the item. Yes it’s a low price but it’s better than nothing!

The service is absolute terrible. The girl with the colored hair like platinum and purple was especially rude after I complimented her hair. The whole time I was selling my clothes I felt judged and they belittle their customers for being poor. They are condescending when working with customers and need to be put in check. Do not recommend this place for selling or buying because they will jip you when selling and overprice their clothes way too much. They tried to tell me they were going to sell brand new PACSUN shorts for $8 and tried giving me $3 for them so I took them back. They’re absolutely ridiculous and such try hards. The people who do the buys need to be fired especially the girl with the ugly bleached hair who dresses like a Shakespeare reject. Never going back here I recommend u don’t either unless u like rude service and second hand clothes for basically full price.

Really cool selection of goods. You’ll find tons of hidden gems here. The service is mixed - sometimes the staff are super friendly; other times not so much. However, I had an overall positive experience shopping and consigning with them. Will update my review as time passes.

The store here is OK. Very organized and has many clothing options for the type of customers they attract. What I wouldn’t recommend is the selling option - the service was fast and I provided never worn, clean pieces of clothing/shoes/purses. At the end, I only received $30 for 2-3 pieces. What kind of did it for me to leave only 1 star is their lack of customer service skills. The associate who rang me up did not tell me what was taken to sell in their store or explanation of how they priced the items. I was given my money with my bin of clothes. To further highlight, it was a weekday and in the middle of the day - there was only one other customer in the store. If you want a place that will take your clothes and price them reasonably, I would recommend Plato’s closet in Hawaiian Gardens. They had better service than my experience here and they are more than welcome to provide their decision making on your pieces.

Terrible staff. Some of the ladies that work there are so stuck up and they think they know what is cool and what is not. I brought in a LV wallet that I bought myself at South Coast Plaza, and they had trouble finding the serial mark, and told me it was counterfeit. I am not saying this with rose colored glasses, but I have been told my whole life that I have great style. I brought in current and seasonal name brand items, as I know how these places operate. You know the phrase camp vs campy? Well they might be “vintage vs homeless. So these girls decided that since it did not suit their own personal style, that it would not suit their store. Never again. I will drive down to Crossroads where I used to go before I moved to LB.

They don’t give u enough for what I took I took new Cortez, new shirt and new sweater just got 18 dollars for some she priced for 42 dóllar shoes and 7 dollar shirt and 13 sweater do not recommend and a guy walked in with a box of new clothes DIDNT even bother to look in it but couldn’t buy it off of him what a rip off

This place is a joke don’t even bother wasting your time they have no idea what their doing

Rude service. I was told to leave my backpack behind the counter. When its actually just a purse. Girl at desk was rude. Ive sold once and purchased from here many times. But will not again. Dont bring your clothes here, they hardly give you any money for your clothes. Youre better off selling on Ebay or posh. Selection on the clothes have gone down too and prices have gone up! Stay away!

They buy you items but give you less money and more credit to buy in store.

Hey Leah, I was just looking for a place to unload some unused brand name clothing. I saw that ridiculous 1 star because of politics on YELP. Im white, vegan, married to a Muslim and non-vegan, disabled vet, who appreciates hard work and business owners. Im looking for additional items and will happily come by and let you see if anything is a match.I just think its really messed up that someone would do this. Thanks for being neutral. I hate a lot of what is going on these days, but was about a product purchased by a local small business and offered to the community. The profit would go into your hands and allow you to employ others and spend in the community. Thanks for doing what you do.Your rep told me on the phone about the style of clothes you are looking for right now, and mine was a bit formal. They were polite and saved me a trip. Above Average clothing selection and they have nice fitting rooms. Cool music and I dont have to drive to downtown Los Angeles.

Awesome selection and variety. seasonal styles for all tastes and sizes. Ive been here a few times and found some nice shirts i know no one else has. Cool little spot.

I love Tattered!! Im a seller and a shopper. Like any resale or consignment business it can be a hit or miss but the hunt makes it fun. Dont base your review on one visit. New stuff comes in all the time so it may be better the 2nd or 3rd time around. Give it a chance. LOVE their music choices, nice genre of music. Makes shopping/browsing more enjoyable. Most importantly dont take it personally if your items arent accepted. They have been doing this a long time and know what their customers are looking for.

It seems add though they put a lot of effort into their business!💕The guy that helped me was super nice. The girl in pink seemed like we bothered her?Clothing is well picked and sifted through to get the best options for buyers so i understand that its technically a boutique thrift but the process are a bit high, if its not on sale, most items are a bit pricey. I left with 3 things (volcom/urban outfitters/elodie) for 75$ and idk if it was taxes but when i added up everything it t was 69$ but either way for second hand clothes i think thats a lot although i am happy with my experience, not so much the prices.

Overpriced and staff thinks they are just too cool.I brought my daughters clothes in to sell and they refused almost all of them as they stand their in an outfit a bag lady would wear. Hipster nonsense.I wont spend anymore money there.

They are looking for seasonal options? Also I went to sell my items and the lady said they are looking for Zara or Banana Republic fashions when it’s clearly a hipster store, none of their fashions display that, just an excuse. At least be more clear and it’s a bit overpriced!

Not a vintage or a thrift store. The prices are $10 to $300. Youll find bono items. Dont come if you are not a medium or a small there is nothing for you

The cashier decided to tear off the red sale stickers on the two items we brought up to purchase, and when we questioned, he said, those items were marked wrong.. Which is false advertisement! He would not honor the 50% off sale price. For a used clothing, their prices are too high. Average dresses $26 average tee shirts 12 - $20Will not return
