Everybody here is so nice! When I came in with my service dogs, I was told, nice dogs, and I wasnt rushed to find what I wanted. The staff helped me find what I wanted without being pushy. They just showed me the area where items were located and let me try out the different recliner chairs (as I was looking for one) and just helped me learn how to operate them.

Its ALWAYS a pleasure when I go. The Staff are knowledgeable courteous and helpful.

Place is hot. The ac doesn’t work. Everything is dusty or dirty.We bought a table. It’s nice. That’s about it. The owner was yelling at a salesman. He later went out slamming the door. The last time we were there the owner was cussing with the f word.He seems to like being a rough character. I don’t think we can go back. Today we went somewhere else. Didn’t buy, but at least the air worked.

They guy whom greeted us was VERY kind and engaging and even gave us a card prior to walking out. The 3 stars is due to the type of furniture in stock... we didnt really care for most of it

I don’t know what to think of my visit. I live in Houston but have a small house in Lake Charles for work till January. Wife and I went shopping. Salesman was nice. Nice stuff. Lots of dust and grime but still decent.What ruined it for us was the owner “Mitch” demanding a customer to tell him which sales person they wanted! I don’t know the situation, but she had apparently spoken to two, one we found out later was his own son. He was demanding if it was this person or that. I would have walked out. We milled around a while then left. Everyone was ok. The owner is a jerk. We left and ate and bought a sectional and a table set at Howell’s Furniture. Just my opinion.

Time to preplace the ol couch no one sits any longer with a dbl completely adjustable recliner with neck riser also for me. No more straining to look at tv while in pre-nap mode. Nice cup holder and junk collector in the middle. Also a quick charge USB Slot on each end by controls. Already see its making a great nap recliner.

Today I went looking for my mother and bought a lift chair. This place is a joke. Trying to get financed we had to deal with the owners wife. The entire time we tried to get done she did nothing but gripe about the sales people. She is an absolute airhead of biblical proportions. We couldn’t get approved and that’s our fault. Come here was our fault to. Won’t again. Howells got us done.

My experience shopping at New Look Furniture was wonderful. The sales consultant, Joel Hughes, who greeted me when I entered was very helpful and knowledgeable in what I was looking for. It was my first time purchasing from New Look Furniture. I highly recommend Joel and New Look. In addition, the young man who handled the purchase and delivery was very pleasant and professional. Im sorry I dont know his name. All in all it was a great shopping experience.

Worst purchase of my life. Beware of what you purchased at this store. A day after purchase, chairs started to peel off. Made store aware, but refused return. Now all 8 chairs look like the picture below and Im constantly have to clean debris from my carpet. New Look furniture, shame on you for selling such a product to your customers. You deserve a zero star.

Stood in line forever. Forever!!!!! There is no organization after you are sent to the counter. It is a jumbled mess.For the way this business presents itself, you would think they would be more business like.Rude cashiers. Waited 20 min with no one helping us. When I got aggregated and told my husband to lets go.. they decided to help us.

We bought a recliner. We special ordered the recliner and it came in quickly. The sales lady was great. We got exactly what we wanted, and she wasnt pushy. She actually listened to us and let us roam the store. We even borrowed a tape measure from her to get some size measurements.I just didnt like the after the sale fleecing .. do you want to add insurance? .. do you want accessories? ... do you want an extended warranty ...we have this deal if you buy another chair well give you a table... I realize this is the norm in todays world but I just dont like to say no seven times after I get my checkbook out.

I love shopping there for my home its reasonable and the owner is so friendly and caring about his customers I purchased a firm mattress there and they also have beautiful things there for every room.

I went here looking for sofa set. Found a nice one but when I went to pay for it I was told by the sales lady that was help us that they were out of the one I wanted and I would have wait about 4 weeks until it comes in but I could pay for it today. 😒 I dont think so. I kindly told the lady I didnt want to wait that long I would just go somewhere else and look around. She replied to me you could have the furniture on the floor 😡 I told her no I only want brand new furniture for my money. Ill just go somewhere else. She then replied. I can try to have the furniture in a week or less. 😶 I replied but you just told me it would be 4 weeks. No thanks have a good day.So I can be the sitting duck after you get your sale right smh. But they do have nice stuff there with fair prices. Just didnt want to wait 4 weeks or want their floor try me furniture.

This is the second time we bought something that we couldnt get bc the warehouse was closed. The first time we were misled about the delivery fee and there were no 197 recliners as advertised. Today the warehouse was closed so we had to be inconvenienced and make 2 trips

5 stars and highly recommend Rebecca. She was present, but not pushy when we were just looking but with intentions to buy a bedroom set. Never did we feel pressured, and she was more than helpful to answer questions and she dealt well with my opinionated teenage daughter 😂 Their sale allowed us extra room in our budget to buy a few extras and that was AMAZING we didnt anticipate that at all. We still came in under budget and great experience all around. Great job, New Look! SUPPORT LOCAL! ❤️

The prices reveal the quality of the product. Much of the furniture is the poor quality processed wood that swells when wet. The dresser walls get weak and the drawers collapse... before they eventually and fall apart. Great starter furniture for your first house...unless you have kids, I guess. The pricey items are of a better quality for the choices are limited.

This store has quality furniture but the workers hound you so badly that you cant even enjoy browsing. Even after I repeatedly said I would let them know if I needed help I would ask for it they continued to follow and stay within 4 inches of me at all times. Finally I choose to take my business elsewhere purely due to the fact that they wouldnt leave me be. They are. Vultures, savagely scrapping and screeching all and everything they can just to force a sale on you. The employees including the owner truly disgust me with their relentless greed.

Worst customer service. We bought our couchs in march and in September one cushion on the couch ripped and then one of the recliner cushion ripped. We have been back and forth with this company since September to have two cushions replaced as a guarantee under their one year service agreement. We call to get answers and the service guy is always busy or not at his desk. Im honestly thinking they are trying to ignore certain people when they call. Weve talked to the owner, who by the way didnt seem like he cared at all. Yes they were friendly and great to work with you go and buy from them. But if you need service done, they act like they dont care or want to help you.

Customer Service Here is horrible. When I oringinally came to the store I knew exactly what I wanted but wasnt sure theyd have it. When I asked the sales man about the bed and the stroage drawes that go underneath it and how much I could pay for it he insisted that he had said product WITH drawers for that price. I purcahsed alot of things from here, mattress, sofa, bed + drawers. It was delieverd fast and free ( i live right down the road aways). Upon delievery they set everything up and did a good job.I know it seems perfect right up til they didnt have the drawers for the bed. I told the delievery men and they said contact the store. This was literaly week before christmas so it was hectic time. I contected the salesman by phone and told him about it he said he would let the manager know and call me back. The games begin he never called back and I would call back he isnt there or he is talking to his manager about it.Finially after two weeks back and fourth I spoke directly with the store manger/owner he was rude and said the drawers would cost me and Extra 400$ when I argued with him that this was not what was promised and paid for witht the salesman he had know idea of the problem the guy never even spoke to the manager about it (or manager was lying) either way he refused to give me the drawers (very rudely) then I asked to return the just the bed I would keep the sofa and matress. Because I paid nearly 600$ for the bed and I could find a much nicer bed for that price without the drawers. He refused coming up with all of these chargers FEE for Pick, Fee for taking it part, and Fee for Restocking, at this point I could buy the drawers rather than pay all these fees.I could find a much better deal on a bed for 600 and much nicer bed that had the drawers I wanted for the price he was overing 1K I could have a really extravagent bed with the drawer I wanted.IT WAS THERE MISTAKE!WHY DID I PAY FOR IT??The manager pretty much hung up on me and I thought I was being resonable I paid cash for everything and was treated like beyond poorly.I will never shop there again and tell everyone I know this place is horrible filled with lies, and horrible customer service.DO NOT SHOP HERE ITS A RIP OFF!!!
