I wouldn’t shop anywhere else for glasses and Chris Moore takes exceptional good care of me. I’ve shopped Shopko eyewear for years and I’ve never been disappointed. Chris is very friendly and bubbly and will do what it takes to make you happy and is honest with you, when it comes to picking a pair of glasses . Shop Shopko, you will not be disappointed . The new Grand Island location is very nice.

I didnt think five stars wood be possible. Then I remember in 2011 looking at my own Yelp reviews as a locksmith in CA. IT IS NOT ONLY POSSIBLE BUT PROBABLE WITH THESE GUYS/GALS.I was wearing an eyepatch for the last six months. I wasnt sure why. This is my covid-19 story:My wife in Austin Texas was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. (Caught it early, luckily). For some reason her brain changed. She decided after 8 years, she wanted a divorce and to sell the house before surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.I had decided to sell portions of my musical studio before and did, to help pay for deductibles and medical costs (as her insurance company from her job was not covering everything).I sold my handmade, 5-piece custom Tama kit from 1991, (yes, I am a drummer and this was the last of the handmades in Japan). Then, she decided she wanted a divorce 😕. When I bought her this home in Austin, for her birthday, upon retiring from my business in California, I put it in her name for tax purposes. So to recap, I lost the love of my life, the home I worked all my life to attain, and the music studio that took more than all my life to attain.Spent seven months blind... Wearing an eyepatch because I thought her problem was more important than mine. In my mind it still is or was. Shes had her surgery/treatments shes completely recovered and by the grace of God doing well.I looked up ShopKo optical upon attempting to start a new life here in Nebraska. The Grand Island office is professionally run. Everyone is friendly and more than competent! But there is one person I appreciate the most.Jason Hawley! Im 53 years old. This man is the most thorough, knowledgeable, astute, understanding and communicative, doctor of optometry I have ever encountered! I never thought seven months ago I was going through stress. I woke up one day 7 months ago and I could not see out of one eye. Brain did not compute.Jason Hawley looked at me with a smile and confidence and said, stress makes strange things happen to our vision I said stress come on Im a man...She said Ive seen it several times this past year alone. To make a short story really long, I just got my glasses today and I can see more clearly and concisely as a fifty-three-year-old that I ever thought was possible!!!!!That is no lie and I have no reason to lie.Thank you Dr. Hawley!!! GOD bless you and yours 🙏

While I didnt have insurance I called them with a specific concern since I was always impressed with their professionalism, I trusted them. Our whole family went there, 3 kids and my husband for many years so I thought I could count on them to give me the answers I was looking for. I explained what was happening and that I didnt have insurance ... they did what I expected and told me to come on in and get checked out. So I reluctantly made an appointment. I get there and explain that something is wrong, my vision is changing rapidly and that I think I have cataracts because I know it can be hereditary and my grandma had them. He did an exam didnt believe me because I was only in my 30s and didnt even bother to check for cataracts. Ignored my concerns did a basic exam, told me it was normal for my eyes to change at that age. Took my money and sent me on my way. As soon as we got our new insurance I made an appointment elsewhere and guess what it turns out I was right! I had cataracts in both eyes and had to have surgery.
