Cool variety of fresh produce and food from various countries at an awesome price. The trick is to find out when their produce comes in, so you can insure that its at it peak of freshness. Most its not refrigerated so it ripens quickly. Staff seems partial to certain customers but are not rude. Overall good place.

My buddy and I get their Filet Mignon tenderloin often and you cant beat the prices its usually around $20 for a 2lb tenderloin. They have great sauces and spices you can not find at your other grocery stores. Extremely friendly staff and very helpful. I took Spanish in High School, so I understand most of it but sometimes Im not about to understand and the staff have always helped and have never made me feel uncomfortable in any way.

High prices compared to other Hispanic stores. Not a lot of variety. Cashier scanned the same item three times and when I noticed they refused to give me credit for it. They said that they could not go back to see video and that they couldnt prove I did not get my items. I am never buying anything here again. This is not the first time I have problems here. One time I bought one item and they never put it in the bag. Their response was I did put it in the bag. No refund or replacement of the item was ever made.

I go here ALL the time. La Aurora rocks and is one of my favorite groceries in Gainesville. Their prices are unmatchable (20¢ limes, chicken less than $3per/lb, etc). They have a great assortment of fresh produce and international foods always in stock. They also freshly bake a small variety of pastries (guava, guava/cheese, and coconut) everyday, twice a day from my understanding: at 8-9am and at 12-1pm. The staff is also really nice.

Employees are not attentive to customers. Every time I am in the store I have to look for a cashier to check me out. They need to engage customers and be helpful. The store is clean and well stocked, but if the customer is not placed first then why even have a business in the first place. Improve your customer interaction, customers ALWAYS!

Cashier was rude. I was preparing a haunted house themed party ( yes i know its in july but thats the persons fav holiday) and she refused to acknowledge me or answer me when i asked for orange candles. I asked about 4 times she was very stuck up and arrogant. Im not sure what was her problem but it certainly made sure ill tell my family to no longer go there. Im assuming she is probably the owners kid so im not holding my breath in her being reprimanded.Edit: It was on 7/9/19 or 7/10/19 t was around 8pm. I spent 57.13 but if she had acknowledged me i would have spent more. I hope this helps find the person.

It has a lot to offer for Hispanic cuisine (and snacking). The brand Goya has a lot of products available there.I only visited because some Latin stores sometimes have African products, such as gari, attiéké or flour for pounded yam. I bought fufu flour (from the brand Golden Tropics).I would have given a higher rating but I didn’t find averything I needed.
