Clean and orderly able to find what I was looking for without wasting a lot of time.

Very disappointed with quality lately. I drove past Winn Dixie, Harveys and Hitchcocks to go to Publix. Within the past month I have purchases cereal that was stale (still within expiration date), rasberries that were molding within 2 days of purchase, tangerines that were soft and starting to spoil within days of purchase. Publix use to be in a class far above all other grocery stores. Now, not so much. Customer service is still A+. Unfortunately, niceness wont feed the family. Sorry Publix, you are not worth the extra miles anymore. May check in again in the future, for now, Ill shop closer to home.

I am changing my 5 star review to 1 star. I stopped in this afternoon and as I was getting ready to leave the parking lot I noticed an elderly man pull into a parking spot with a green sign and put a disabled placed on his mirror. Next to that space was an employee with a electric disability cart. The elderly man rolled his window down and asked the heavy set Afro American employee if he could use the disabled cart as he stated he had one prosthetic leg. To my dismay the employee went off on a tangent about how that spot was for pickups only and he needed to get out of that space. The elderly man politely moved to another space nearby and the employee road away on the cart and spent time giggling with his friends nearby. Are you this desperate for employees that you hire someone with this attitude? Forget the nice 5 star review I had previously written. I will never step foot in this store again. Some one should be ashamed of them selves!!!

Always best produce, courteous staff, clean, organized and great pharmacy with best prices for scripts. We have 2 grocery stores in Williston, I drive 40 miles r/t to shop at Publix. That shud speak for itself.

I have been shopping at this location for years. The enployees are so nice and extremely helpful.I have got to know a few of them and they always are so happy to see me,they make me feel so welcomed. I would like to point out one employee in particular, her name is Sarah she seems to work at customer service mostly. She is the sweetest, the most kindest person. Whenever she sees me walk in she smiles and acknowledges me by name. I could be having a bad day and when I see her adorable face smiling ear to ear..Well,my bad day just went away. I really believe she could go very far with this company.

Don’t bother ordering a sub ahead of time at dinner time. Deli is under staffed and you won’t see your sandwich till at least 20minutes after the time you ordered it for. They staff one person for sandwiches and somehow maintain a line of 3-8 people in that deli at all times.

Decent Publix. Store was clean and well staffed. Bathroom was clean and stocked.

Place is clean well-lighted, and isles are well spaced (no worry of bumper carts when shopping). Staff was polite and respectful, and smiled. They do require masks, but cant hate on them for obeying city ordinance. Five out of five. Ive been told Im hard to please. Dont know why, I know what I want and think for myself. It is a great place to shop, good experience. One ugly mans opinion.

Love the food! Feelings safe but prefer they offer disposable plastic gloves for patrons to handle utensils like Golden Corral does.

My experience was great. I have been shopping at this Publix Supermarket for a while. The customer service is great and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Its a publix, its hard to go wrong. Go there knowing youll get good deals. If you know how to shop right then you can eat cheaper than going to Walmart or even aldi. Make sure you check the weekly ad before you go and that you bring your reusable bags. If youre going on a Wednesday then their delicious sushi is only $5. Ive been doing most of my shopping at publix for a few years now and I cant recommend any other store more.

Ive NEVER been disappointed with Williston Rd Publix. They will do things you would never expect from Walmart or any grocery store (including Whole Foods) in Gainesville to satisfy you. In addition, you wont find happier employees, and thats so important in customer relations. Theyre always friendly and smiling. You KNOW they are happy to be there and it adds to the ambiance and shopping experience and if you want to save money they will help you do that too. If you engage with the people there, you WONT be disappointed EVER.

I always find what I need and if I cant the store staff is always ready to help. Store is always clean. I love Publix!

Ive been checking out all the Publix Delis on the west side of Gvl since Westgate closed. Westgate usually had onion rings in the Deli, but none of the others do. Sad. Otherwise, great stores.

If I could give zero stars I would. This Publix is one of the worst I’ve ever been to in the way of customer service/management. The deli is extremely well staffed at all times, but no one actually works. I stood in a line of 8 people today for 20 minutes while ONE employee out of the dozen standing around restocking/chatting made subs. The manager was in the bakery area having a conversation with the bakery manager, and after he was done he looked over and saw the struggling deli department and decided to casually walk on by while fondling different merchandise on the shelf in a half-baked effort to appear to be doing something. I took that opportunity to approach him and point out that he was literally watching his deli get swamped and doing nothing about it, as well as ask him about the store mask policy. Signs on every entrance say that masks are required. Announcements playing periodically over the loudspeaker let you know that Publix policy requires a face mask, which is also why they require all employees to wear one. When I stated all those facts, and then asked why they still allow shoppers to blatantly come in maskless and do their shopping as usual, he had no answer other than to tell me that people do what they want.It’s very clear that Publix doesn’t care about their employee’s health, or they would be protecting them by enforcing the mask policy for all shoppers. It’s also clear that Publix doesn’t care about their elderly/at risk/immunocompromised customers either, or they would be enforcing the mask policy to keep us safe. Disgusting nonchalant behavior by this manager, we left the store and won’t be coming back unless it’s for an apology.

I got a Boars Head Italian sub...ON SALE! It was made to near perfection! I couldnt even make it home....had to pull over and eat half of it in a parking lot! Mmmm!

This place used to be very nice until the current management showed up. Store manager Travis is the very worst any Publix customer would ever encounter or imagine meeting at this level of management. He makes up things to go after you. Once he got caught wrongfully accusing you, he refused to acknowledge your complaint or apologize like a man. And if you happened to vent with some associates working there, he would pull the associate to the back for questioning. As this Travis person claimed, it would be unfair to him if you mentioned your experience with him to any associate. What a joke!

One of my favs that can actually implement policy appropriately and no matter which store one walks in to feel like their in familiar surroundings. The employees are consistent at least 80% with store standards. Now THATS a trick! Good Job Publix!

Lots of friendly, helpful staff. Clean and well-lit store has a wide selection for most items. Food on the shelf almost always has a long time before its expiration date, and fresh items keep very well after you bring them home. Not always the low price leader, but you get a lot of quality selection and service for your money. Easy parking.

Worst experience ever at Publix On 34th and Williston road Gainesville Florida. Went to get popcorn chicken like I do everyday And they had none along with almost everything else. The lady told me everything in the Box had to be thrown away. I asked her if she had popcorn chicken coming up And she said no. She said she had nothing coming up but she did have some chicken tenders in the back. I said something to the people working up front but they kind of shrugged it off. Really hope this is not the new normal because it sucks.

Crowded parking lot! Gainesville has really developed around the Archer road area. So many disconnected strip malls seem to have been renovated and connected by unknown roads within the parking lot areas.

Got everything we needed and bathrooms were clean.

I visited on a Wednesday morning around 9 AM, and even though the store was not busy, there was only one checkout lane open. The customer in front of me had an entire cart overflowing with groceries and the cashier-and-bagger duo (the two young ladies in Aisle 11) were taking their time ringing the customer up, as they talked to each other while making no conversation with their customer or calling for backup to assist myself (I only had a few items). Other associates were nearby working on other tasks (stocking shelves and cleaning), but not offering assistance to myself or the customer in line behind me. After a few minutes, Sarah C. offered assistance by opening the register in Aisle 9. I was not impressed with the service at this Publix location UNTIL Sarah came over. She was very friendly and efficient, and is the sole reason this review is 3 starts instead of 1 stars.
