I would give it 5 stars, but in the beginning of my interaction they asked me if I wanted a car wash, which case I always say yes, however, when they brought the car out to me it wasn’t washed at all. I was a little disappointed but over all It was good customer service. I got an oil change and waited 2 hours.

Got there at 645 AM on Monday, 10/11. I was the first one and my appointment was at 0700. One of their service agent was there around 0655. He knew I was there because I had my headlights on waiting. Around 7AM another SUV pulled up in front of me and the service agent that was there waited on him first….A white man….hey I thought we are in America . No cutting in line…I had to act like a Karen ( which I really dislike). but it seems they will overlook someone because their Asian . Well obviously I am pulling my race card ….

We purchased our vehicle from Lexus of Fremont a few days ago (Wednesday). The sale advisor we worked with was Dewey Le and finance person is Danny.All WAS well, until we are being ghosted. We been trying to cancel GAP and Dewey confirming that it is cancel, yet no word from Danny. Its very disappointing when they want you to purchase a vehicle they are all ears and all, but when you got questions or want something corrected, no response. Dewey told us that he will have Danny contact us, yet nothing. I’ll be calling Lexus headquarter today to verify my paperwork & all the extras were taken out.Hence the 1 star.Also, the vehicle we purchased had an ANTS infestation and when I told Dewey about it, we were ignored. I am not sure what they did to the vehicle before we purchased it, but there are ants crawling everywhere in the inside and outside of the vehicle. I am disgusted with it. If it was just one or two, I can easily get rid of it but it been more and we dont know where there are coming from-- as they crawling out of all the gaps in the vehicle. So before you purchase, do a good observation inside and outside.We got our vehicle at 7pm or 8pm and it was already dark to see much. We currently still have the ants issue & trying to find where its coming from.What we are more disappointed with is the lack of communication with folks we worked with when purchasing the vehicle. No response from neither.If you want business-- maybe its better to go else where that youll be valued & no lack of communication. Not much dealership at the moment as many are just trying to get you to purchase & then ghost you because they made their commission.I am still waiting for that call that was promised to ease my mind about all the extras were taken out as requested

I did an wheel replacement package with alignment. The job was done almost perfect, tires replaced and alignment is good, steering wheel center etc…BUT they scratched my beautiful rims while replacing it. So I had to take off one star. Now I got to go find the matching paint to repair it

I had a battery issue which was under warranty, however, I had to pay for the installation which would have been $85 because I did not initially have the battery installed by Lexus. Justin, the Service Rep, was kind enough to help me out and gave me discount which ended up costing $45, plus they did a full advice wash if my car inside and out. I initially was not happy in the beginning when I learned I had to pay for the installation, however, Justin made it right with the half price discount and having my car cleaned. I left very satisfied!

Shane our salesman was very professional, friendly, and welcoming when I went to go checkout my potential vehicle. I knew what I wanted and it was my first time buying a new car. Shane helped every step of the way and made the process seamless. We ended up trading in my car and I chose the new 2021 Infrared IS350 F-Sport which was parked on the showroom floor. The dealership was very friendly and welcoming (not many dealers are and they can be pushy). We were actually going to purchase a used vehicle from Pleasanton Lexus however the sales guy on the phone sounded very stern and condescending. Then again when you go pick it up, but other than that the experience was great got a loaner to use while my car was serviced that was beautiful. I have been going to Lexus in Fremont for 18 years. This visit has as been unusually difficult. Usually I receive first class service but not this time. To start off the person I made my appointment with did not actually make the appointment. When I showed up at the time I had requested there was no appointment. They were very polite as usual but I ended up waiting 45 minutes before I was helped by a service rep. When we were done I was told the car wouldnt be ready for pick-up for 3 or 4 days. No problem and got a loaner car. One day later I received a text message that my car was ready but it was after hours so I had to wait til morning to make sure all the work had been done because it was so fast. I had to call 3 times, the first time my rep was off for a few days, call 2 the back up rep was not in and I was connected with another rep and had to leave a message. 2 hours later with no call back I called and was finally connected with someone who actually looked up my service and reported what had been done. Finally! My experience is usually 5 stars but unfortunately, not this time. I will still keep going here for service because they do take good care of my car and I trust they will continue to do so.

UPD: My issue has been resolved to my best satisfaction. Monte has been phenomenally helpful and customer oriented. He came to my place and did diagnostic drive with me after his hours. Then he purchased a replacement part and picked my car at my house leaving me with curtesy car. Next day he drove my Lexus back and picked up the loaner. Now the problem is gone and the cruise control is completely functional. This experience was very positive and super convenient. Thank you Monte!>I came to LoF with a problem with Radar Cruise Control which was malfunctioning and at times displaying an error message and shutting off. Later that day Yvonne gave me a call and said they can’t duplicate the problem and do not see any errors in computer memory. She asked my permission for extended test which would involve driving my car to someone’s home and back with test equipment attached. I okayed that and she promised to give me a call next day. Nothing happened on the next day and following weekend. On Monday I called them to check what was going on. Yvonne called me back in a few hours saying again that the car did not act up. She asked to take car back and if the problem repeats RECORD A VIDEO (!). I was shocked since filming that on highway at high speed with malfunctioning cruise control is dangerous and illegal. I told her that I have a picture of the error message. She asked to text it to her and told me they will try again. After 4 more days of radio silence I texted Yvonne and asked about my car. She said they did second extensive test and could not reproduce the issue. And asked to pick up my car and come again if the problem reappears. I did, paid $225 for diagnostic. The mileage was 60 miles up, while the invoice indicated only one mile difference and a comment on the invoice was they drove over 7 miles. Once I got to highway it took 1 min for cruise control to start misbehaving and about 2 min to display the message again. And I recorded that video while it was really unpleasant experience. In next 15 miles the message got displayed 5-6 times and cruise control was barely working. I’m not sure what was done to my car that is called diagnostic and takes a week and 60 miles to find nothing. 5 min on highway do the job. I’m very frustrated.

He wouldnt pressure me to do anything, no hidden fees, and answered my questions deliberately. He was very patient with me to decide since I was in the middle of Lexus or BMW and spent some time thinking. I would really recommend Fred! Dont be fooled by the Lexus name and premium prices, this place is bait and switch. Watch out for two-faced service reps. James is only nice to you while youre spending $$$. He hung up on me when I called to tell him my issue was still unresolved. When I went back to the service drive-through today due to the issue not being properly diagnosed in the first place, his personality turned for the worse. James wouldnt greet me and avoided eye contact at all costs. Acted like he didnt remember me and claimed I was never a customer when I literally just had repairs done a few weeks ago. Cut me off numerous times while I was explaining myself and argued with me in his office. I left after a couple minutes bewildered by his lack of professionalism. James was pleasant, courteous and eager before I spent $1,200+ recently on repairs. After that money was spent, a different side of him presented itself. This business treats you one way to get your money, and then shows a different side once youre done spending. The worst part is my initial issue is still unresolved.I went with an authorized Lexus branch for my diagnosis and repairs because I thought I was paying for the best. James proved me wrong. If you think youre getting premium service because youre paying more..... think again. You can get equal or better service for less with their competitors. I will not be returning.

Car was taken in for maintenance. Everything was excellent, but they provided me with a loaner. My advisor told me that the team would clean and sanitized the loaner. When I entered the car, the interior of it was filthy dirty. From the steering wheel to center console. It seemed like the person prior to using it was eating and dirty all those areas. I was greatly disappointed since it’s a first time Lexus gives me a dirty car to use. Only reason why they do not get the 5 stars.

Very chaotic and disorganised. My service appointment on Saturday was at 11am and I was not checked in until 11:30 am despite arriving at 10:45am for the appointment. Received text around 3 that my car was ready for pickup. Returned to dealership at 4:10pm to pickup my car, paid for service and had to wait another 40 minutes for them to locate and bring my car in which the rear shade was disfigured and not working. Returned to the dealership at 4:55 to have them address that issue. I’ve been a customer here since 2008 and will go elsewhere from now on.

The visit a week ago was the last straw and I would never go back there again. I had been taking my both Lexus to Fremont for as long as I had them (12 years). Each time I always felt those service advisors were tying very hard to sell me expensive service that are not recommended by the car service manual. The latest service advisor (more like a sales advisor to me) I encountered told me the tires of my car need to be replaced and he said Lexus will offer price match if I found the tires somewhere cheaper. Later I did find Americas Tire offered better prices but he argued Lexus offers tire alignment ($100value) the other didnt. I went ahead and was given a loaner car. I was a bit perplexed why did I need a loaner car just for the basic service and tire replacement. I left the car in the morning and I didnt get the call from the Lexus service advisor till 6pm that day after I tried to call him several times inquiring the status of my car. He told me a technician has been assigned to my car for the next day to work on the car and didnt explain to me if they did anything at all on the first day. Then on the second day I received no phone call at all from them. The third day I got a call from another service advisor telling me in the process of tire alignment they found dent on my suspension so they could only perform as best as they could for the job and suggested to replace the suspension and other parts needed to be fixed ($$$). A simple tire change evolved into more repairs needed. I just told her no, no, and no for any repairs she suggested. To conclude, there should be a red flag when they give you a loaner car for a basic service and tire changes. The end of the story.

I am really failing to see how this got such high rating of service. On the day of the purchase, the salesperson was actually trying to talk to multiple customers. My mom was actually in a rush because she is a nurse and her unit has been really short staffed. We explained that to him but I still see him dragging his feet and talking to another customer…. It felt really under impressive and kinda what the stereotypical car salesperson would be. Because my mom was in a rush, my god mother who was also there helped her drive the car back instead. Once we got back, we noticed that the car mats were not inside. Then that took another few days of back and forth to get new car mats delivered to our house. A month later, I’m having this awesome time right now playing cat and mouse with finding where my metal plates are. I asked the DMV who told me that the dealership would have it since it’s a used car. I asked my salesperson and was told that he can reach out to the business office. Then a day later when I followed up, I was told i can call myself…. Yikes… so which one is it?The car is actually pretty nice. But the overall experience has been far from what I see what other reviewers have said. I’m just a bit confused. I thought buying a car would be this joyous occasion, not the multitude of follow ups like this….

I had a very pleasant experience at this dealership. The premises were very welcoming and clean. Dewey the sales agent was very understanding of my situation and friendly. He stayed in touch with me prior to the meeting we planned to see the vehicle I was interested in. He sent me all the info about the car before I got to the dealership. Danny and Gabe from the financial department were very helpful in explaining the little details involving the financing of the car I bought. All in all I was very impressed and would recommend Lexus of Freemont to all my friends and family, whether it is a new car or looking for a preowned car, this is definitely the place to go.

Certified car. Came in for 60k service and the service advisor claimed the spark plugs wasn’t included. We left after service was done and decided to contact corporate to see if that was actually true. Corporate said to contact the service manager so we did. Turns out it should have been included. Wow. So then I had to go back just for the spark plugs that should have been done. Mind you I live about 40 mins away. Manager said he could happily provide pick up and drop off service and a loaner vehicle. Nice. But who’s paying for the gas when they take my car ultimately? Me. Who’s paying for the loaner vehicle gas? Me. All of this could have been avoided if the service advisor knew what he was doing.

My car has a huge scratch that runs under the entire drivers side back door. It wasn’t there when I dropped off my car on Monday.The reps didn’t make any notes that vehicle had marks or scratches when car was taken in.Now reps claim scratch was there. That’s a lie!!I just bought brand new car on may 14th, 2021.This is horrible. Never going back to Fremont Lexus

I am very grateful for the extraordinary service Lexus provided me recently. Months ago there was a recall of certain passenger side airbags. I brought in my SC430 for the exchange. No problem. Then a few weeks ago, I was notified that Lexus wanted to inspect the vehicle to ensure that the brackets had been installed properly. Although Lexus would provide a rental vehicle in the interim at no cost, I was hesitant to take in the car because of distancing issues due to the pandemic. I also wanted more detail on the service that was necessary. I need not have worried. Carmen had the service manager call me to fully explain the proposed work. She then arranged for my car to be picked up at my home by Ron. She returned the car personally and safely after service. It turns out that the brackets had been installed properly and, above and beyond the call of duty, the car had been washed and filled with gas. Very nice!

Very good experience. When I think there is something wrong with my car, I drove to the Lexus store and they quickly diagnosed the problem for me. I brought our 2019 ES 350 into Lexus of Fremont because of a “maintenance needed” message on the dash. Turned out it simply needed its 10K mile service, and the staff got right to work. My service advisor, Yvonne A., was helpful in looking up the car’s history and taking care of a documentation issue about our car’s service plan.In and out in about three hours, I expect they’ll see us back in the future.

Didn’t feel any pressure, test drove the car I wanted, and Fred is the guy to talk to.
