Would give them 0 stars for customer service and integrity. Been waiting almost 2 months for a refund on a storage shed we paid in advance. People in the office constantly telling us well get our check in 2 weeks and its been 2 months. Still havent received any money. When we emptied our sheds our next months lease had just started and they told us we would get a refund on that also. Then they turned around and said sorry, youre not getting any money back on those sheds. Says its in the fine print which it isnt. So weve accepted the loss of that money but they wont refund the other shed we paid four days before it was due. If you rent from these people, be prepared for them to tell you one thing and do another. They should be reported to the better Business bureau for stealing our money but I think maybe thatll be my next step

They were VERY professional about getting set up. I just had to call and I payed over the phone. Then I just had to go into the office to finish everything. They even have locks for sale for $15 (plus tax). Everything looked very clean and organized. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!!!

We have storage there now but hopefully will be gone before...I dont recommend them because they tell you rent will fluctuate up and down...always goes up...never comes down..also they are suppose to give a 30 day notice ofprice change...ours has gone up 2 times and in a year and were never notified so if you have it automatically withdrawn from your account keep a close eye on it because thats the only way you will know

I think the iStorage in Florence, Alabama is the BEST storage place in North Alabama. The property easy to find, very clean, reasonable prices, and the staff really knows their stuff and theyre super nice and helpful too! I definitely recommend that you check them out for all your storage needs.

My wife and I had to move all our belongings 800 miles and our relocation happened very fast. I called iStorage the morning we got into town and told them what I needed. Joshua walked us around and showed us every possible unit that would suit what we had brought with it. Not only was he more than helpful to accommodate our needs last minute and guide us to the best options to suit our storage needs, but he knew we were new to the area and offered very helpful tips on local restaurants to give a shot. His friendliness and desire to help is a huge welcome to us since we’re relocating here, to Florence. Thank you again Joshua!

Excellent self storage facility—clean, well maintained and secure. The manager, Barbie, was very friendly from the ‘get go’ providing me with facility access and pricing information as well as a quick tour of the 2 unit sizes I was interested in. She made it easy for me to quickly down-select units and made paperwork a breeze. Excellent service with a smile😊. One suggestion: owners should buy new Batteries for the golf cart we drove to view units. Prospective customer’s shouldn’t have to walk up a small hill because of an under-powered golf cart and no, Barbie and I don’t have a weight problem👍🤣😇. Good luck 😉

Barbi feels like family! We loved the special care and concern she showed for us! We are elderly and moving at our ages is so stressful! She was like the daughter we do not have!!So happy to be using your facilities again! Barbie was absolutely precious and so thorough and accommodating. The units are extremely clean, and the whole experience of going through iStorage to get a storage unit was totally the best decision!

My experience with this company has been frustrating. keep in mind its not in my nature to write a bad review! When i originally signed my payment was 1 price, 2 months later I received a phone call it would be an additional $20 a month. It was told to me i was charged the wrong amount ( this is for the smallest unit avail). Then this last week - I was late, i explained to the women on the phone that I started a new job and they held back my 1st check 1 week and i would be in on Friday to pay. The 1st call was on a Mon. I received a phone call everyday this week, not only that but 4 e mail invoices. A bit much for being 1 week over due. I was really disappointed that i was being interrupted at work everyday. Finally disappointment on the last reminder call they gave me i reminded them i said i would be in Friday and asked the reminder calls to stop, She just hung up on me. No apology. Poor office staff, read your contacts! Check your options.

The best place for you to store your stuff. Mandy and Andrea are the best!!!. They keep the storage units super clean,no dust or Cobb webs. They treat all their clients like a close family. They also rent trucks for your convenience. That make life so much easier when needed. Great security around the whole area. They have cameras in the office so you never have to feel alone when you in your unit. I lie that. The bath room is so clean you can eat off the floor [just kidding, its just that clean] and theyll even offer you a bottle of water if you thirsty. They have boxes etc. To buy if needed. You have piece of mind when storing you stuff. They deserve a raise for their hard work on taking care of all of their renters who occupy units at this facility. Thank you for letting me share my opinion. Again a great place to store your stuff.

I had an experience where there was a bit of water intrusion in the storage unit. Some damage to two pieces of furniture. A end table and a TV tray. ~$100 - $200. No big deal. The insurance claim process was a disaster however. My recommendation...DONT GET THE INSURANCE. ITS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. They require you do fill out a ton of paperwork and if you move anything from the facility they will deny it. I reported all to the attendant the day the damage was done yet was not told of the do not remove fine print until later on one of the two items. Just beware. The rates and service are otherwise good but the insurance is literally throwing money down the drain.

We just rented our space two months ago. Found this place to be the best and most secure. You may find other storage facilities with a cheaper rate but I feel much safer knowing that someone is on site all the time. You wont find a more secure place for you stuff.

Potential Tenants,If you are on a budget you might want to research the rate increase history of the company before committing your belongings there.I moved my household belongings into a climate controlled unit last December at the agreed upon rate of 166.10. That rate increased in March to 175.00. and again this month to 200.00. Landlords: have the right to increase rents,but twice in one year! That is sad.

RIPPED OFF!!!! I got ripped off for an additional months payment after I moved out and gave them the necessary advanced notice. They refuse to answer any attempt that I have made to recover the money.

We have been with i storage for past 16 years and never had a problem. But past month they called the office and asked my secretary to fill some information because they were missing some information on the file and send it right back. She did as they asked her to and used my signature (Stamper ) on it . Little did she know she was entering in to a new contract and this all all sorts of unspecific fees and charges that opened doors to charge as they please.we always pay the bill by the 10 th and this time by the 5th they locked our shed and asked us to pay $60 (we already pay about $350 per month) to let us open the shed. SO we did. We have moved to another shed since then, but this whole thing was unethical and a scam. this is a horrible company with this new ownership and we will never deal with this horrid company again. We are planning to take necessary legal action towards this case since we have all the calls coming in to the office on a recorded line and the man on the phone that asked my secretary to fill some missing information was also recorded.
