Godwin and Marcos were the team for my move. They did an amazing job, with some very heavy items. Everything was packed and moved carefully. Godwin called the day before and morning of to give me a time estimate. They were very courteous and thoughtful. they arrived wearing masks, which I appreciated a great deal. They worked efficiently and asked questions that helped the transition of furniture from one place to the other. I highly recommend them, and especially Godwin and Marcos as a team.

Charles Moving did a great job on a hyper local move. While having our house painted, flooring refinished and more they moved everything from our main floor to storing it in our basement and then back up again. There was great attention to detail while lugging heavy pieces of furniture and cartons of books and other personal effects. Godwin was particularly good to work with and his team were courteous and professional. I used Charles Moving & Storage to pack and move a 2 bedroom apartment. They did wonderfully. Showed up early in the morning with all the supplies need to pack all the items in the apartment. This is my fourth time using this moving company since 2011. I recently hired to assist an elderly client with her move from a house to an assisted living facility. The customer service was pleasant and they gave an accurate quote over the phone. The movers were fast and carefully wrapped necessary items. The move took longer than anticipated due to more items being moved than I expected. The movers were gracious and did not complain about the extra items. I would recommend them again anything.

We got Charles Moving and Storage to help move my daughters things from her apt last month. They were right on time, they were all very pleasant and polite, they took great care of her furniture and belongings, they carefully wrapped all of her furniture to protect it and they stayed until the job was finished, even though it took longer than they anticipated and they had to stay into the night. I would highly recommend them. They are honest and hard working. They did everything necessary to complete the job, even though it required them to stay late and to carry some things down the stairs that would not fit in the elevator.

I used Charles Moving & Storage in February 2016 and had a great experience! The team I had was fantastic - very friendly and helpful. The move was painless! They arrived on time, wrapped all the furniture and nothing was broken or damaged. When we arrived at the new place, they moved the fridge that was in the kitchen to the garage and moved my fridge into the kitchen. They also took time to set up the bed and move a couple of things around for me. They did a great job and would highly recommend them again .

My experience with this moving company was just fair. They arrived on time and the movers Elijah and Richard did a great job in moving and handling my furniture. However, they were moving at a very slow pace. I was charged a different fee per hour than quoted and was not told that wrapping materials was an additional cost. I found the company to be overpriced as well as misleading. They gave me a discount but in retrospect we broke even in terms of cost.

I used to use College Hunks moving but they were booked up so I tried this local moving place. Was frustrating to get in touch with them, they didnt return calls or werent in the office. Dee didnt mention anything about wrapping furniture or extra charges (I sent her pics). She booked 4 guys on a job which should have taken 3-4 hours. Because they got overtime, the guys worked incredibly slow. At any one point in time I never knew where 1-2 of the guys were or what they were doing. My Partner and I ended up moving stuff and wrapping up furniture because it was taking FOREVER.I ended up paying lots of extra charges, it took 2.5 hours longer than expected and they broke a few things and dented the wall in the new apartment. All this and we ended up doing a good deal of work!Ive heard of worst experiences but I certainly wouldnt recommend these guys. Not worth the money and not at the quality of service I have come to expect.

It was a difficult move. Second floor with the dreaded minty degree turn at the top. Charles Moving had no trouble getting my furniture upstairs.

My daughter recently changed jobs and is now traveling extensively for her new company which is located in Florida. He arrived Saturday morning at 9:00 am with his men and they had the contents packed and loaded in just three hours. They put blankest and packaging around everything and carried it down four flights to the truck. They moved all of the contents to my home seamlessly and with ease. I wish I didn’t have to give one star . This company is so unprofessional. I hired them to move an armoire, a full size bed and I refrigerator. The only item they were able to move was the bed. They arrived unprepared with the wrong tools, and the only thing the mover kept saying is I’m gonna have to charge you more if I try to take the door off this fridge. He also told me that the armoire was built in this house. When I told him no sir the furniture company bought it in, he wanted to argue with me and then proceeded to tell me he would have to charge me more because he had to figure out how to take it apart before he moved it. I was so frustrated I gave up .. I called the company the next day and spoke with management about my experience and they could care less.. Stay fat away from this company.

The manager went out of his way to correct a problem and came personally to help me. I was so happy that he corrected the problem. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction. I now would recommend them.

I used this moving company in August 2014. Some of my furniture was badly scratched and the file cabinet was destroyed. I finally received a check to replace the file cabinet, however, the furniture has not been repaired after two months of waiting. Their employees are very pleasant but service has been poor.

They were on time. I was not able to move into my new place so I used them to move my items from my house to storage and then to my new residence. They were professional and friendly.
