There is a rodent infestation at this location. Several boxes of my belongings were completely destroyed - chewed up, covered in droppings and urine. I have tried to file an insurance claim multiple times with the store, and no one responds. Completely disgusting storage facility, and they clearly cannot be trusted to maintain conditions or take any responsibility for their negligence.

Place is a rip off and the lady with the low cut thinks no one knows she sub-renting units and space and pocketing the money but the rest of the staff..very nice

Today was the worst experience Ive ever had with a storage company. And the sad part is Ive used this company (same location) about 5 yes ago.First, I reserved the unit online with the 50% off your 1st month promo. Well they wanted me to pay for June and July - no, thats not what your company terms said. So I requested to speak with someone in corporate. The girl says, well youll have to Google it. So I called the reservation # and got corporate office number. Had to leave message. I decide, dont want the promo, just the unit. So I go through the steps and when I finally find my unit, it has a lock on it. I go back to the office and let her know theres a lock on it and I no longer want it. She makes a call to someone who tell me they will not give me my cash back but will send me a refund check per the contract. Well I never was given a contract and some guy on the phone was nasty talking about I can say no all I want but will not be giving me my cash back. I called the Police. Bottom line, I was given my cash back

When booking my unit I worked with Ms.Andrée and she was extremely friendly. It was my first time booking a unit on my own and she was very patient and friendly. Thank you so much for making this whole booking process simple and easy.

I walked over to office and she gave some lie about the gate locks 15 mins before closing. Gate sign hours clearly states 9:30am-6pm Mon-Fri. Nowhere does it say but locks 15 minutes early. I asked for mgr she said she was, I asked to see a sign or policy that states this 15mins early gate closing. She couldnt provide but still refuse to let myself and 3-4 OTHER ppl in to put our items in storage. I asked her to contact her district mgr she stated If I call him its going to goto voicemail because he turns his phone off after work hours. I can email him but most likely wont get a response today. Thank goodness I met Jerome the 1st day, I told her well Ill give Jerome a try myself. She changes her tune and opened the gate. By the time that was all over it was 5 minutes before 6pm and she had the nerve to ask how long I would be. HORRIBLE. And its been trashy every single then. Pics being posted. The move in process was smooth and customer service was on point. Front desk was friendly and helpful.Access hours however states one thing online (6a.m.-10p.m.) and office location has different (9:30-7p). For someone coming out of town (NYC) it would have been helpful to have accurate information on the website. The location and time listed was a big part of my consideration to store my items here. At this point it’s a complete inconvenience!!!

They NEVER answer the phone nor do they return your call! I left multiple voicemail messages regarding my unit and NOTHING... months later and still waiting for a call back!!!! I also pay for climate control and during the summer days It was hell in there to the point where I would have to run out of the building because I couldnt resist the heat! I reported it many times and nothing was ever done! I CAN NOT wait to get my stuff out of there!!!

I think they do too much they shouldnt allow ed to you when to go in your storage I think you should be able to go anywhere you want too long you paying for your storage

Andree went out of her way to be helpful and kind to us. After my father passed away, I needed to manage his storage space. She helped me right away, and was responsive to my phone calls and in person. When I needed to close the space, she also asked for a pro-rated refund for advanced payment on storage that I had made. Each and every time I saw her, she was professional and warm, and the fact that she remembers the people that use the spaces is a testament to her attention to detail and empathy. At a time when many of the companies that I was working with were asking for reviews, Andree not once made that request. Im writing this because I am truly grateful for her; thank you Andree!

This place is very affordable and the manager Andree was very helpful in getting us the best size unit for our stuff. She also gave us a discount on the first month and showed us several units to be completely sure that we were getting exactly what we needed.

This place has two floors of climate controlled storage units. So far the building looks clean, I just got one today. Will write an update after a couple months.

Changing review from 1☆ to 5 ☆ I had trouble with my Uncles unit and getting in contact during covid. Finally I stopped by and the woman at the counter was very helpful in having the manager get in touch with us and he took great care of us. Great customer service! Thanks for making things right!

I was being helped by Andree constant the store manager and she was really rude she did not finish ringing me up because it was time for her to go home and threw my money back on the table and walked out the door I don’t understand how a manager does that, when one is supposed to help the costumer.I do want to thank Laneecia Freeman who saw everything and came right to help me and she finished my paperwork and I was able to do the payment. That company needs more people like her.

I went to this place to rent a unit, and the customer service was amazing the place was clean and I liked the vibe and the experience I had there.

I would give more stars if could. The staff was always friendly and helpful - they went above and beyond even when they were swamped with customers. They were patient and took the time to understand and accommodate. I have used at least 3 other storage facilities in my life and this one is hands down the best. Even the district manager was available and active in ensuring everything went smoothly. I would recommend simply self storage to anyone that needs a storage space in this area.

Leon and lordly was fantastic. The staff was constantly busy ensuring customers and facility were taken care off.The facility is spacious and love the sheltered drive thru access where you can park and load/offload your items. I rented the second floor unit and easily transferred my good from van to unit in just minutes thanks to the firefight elevator and carts available to unit tenants.I love this place!

I went in last Tuesday to get some information about renting a unit, as this was my first time I was very confused when I came in I was immediately greeted which always puts me a little at ease. The guy who helped be said his name was Bryant he was very friendly and helped time to figure out what I needed and I actually got my unit that day. This place is great I highly recommend going there for your storage needs and ask for Bryant he was a great help.

This place is terrible! Dirty all the time. You cant access your unit after 7pm during the week, 6pm on Saturday & 4pm on Sunday. I moved my stuff up the street for a few bucks more. Access to 9pm if need be, its clean and I have a peace of mind.

Within my experiences of working within the storage industry, each customer situation is different and could be extremely stressful. Huge facility with great security! Definitely a good place to go if you want a good bang for your buck!

If I could give this place zero stars I would because its awful. The premesis is always filthy. The back door is never working forcing you to have to back your car out. They claim the units on the first floor are climate controlled, yet they leave the front door, to the actual building, wide open all day and everyday. Its very reassuring to know youre paying for a controlled climate only to have a very large door stay open all day with 95 degree summer heat rushing inside. And lastly, and by far the worst, is the past week I have noticed on several locations they have started leaving the rear door open as well. This is a huge security concern because anyone walking down the street can simply walk into the unit. The front side at least has a gate that prevents random people from just walking onto the property, the back of the buliding dorms thane a gate like this. All they have to do is keep the doors closed but I suspect the owner is trying to save as wear and tear on the gate systems. Either way dont store your belongings here. Place is filthy, not climate controlled like advertised, and your belongings are NOT SECURE!!

Get a moving truck take your items to Simply Self Storage unit and just leave them outside. This way they would be more secure than leaving them in this filth of a unit. They are liars, they have high theft, weird people living in the units and more. JUST CALL THE TRENTON POLICE DEPARTMENT TO CONFIRM THE THEFT that goes on at this unit. THE TRENTON POLICE have been there three times that I know of because of stealing and unit tampering. (The reason why I left) This place is also filthy and they have horrible access hours. Do not do not rent here that is my only honest advise.

I spent more than a few weeks shopping around looking for the correct unit best suitable for my needs. I stumbled upon simply self storage at the trenton location on olden ave and decided to take a look at its accommodations. I was however a little skeptical due to the actual surroundings of the establishment. Without going into all of the details at length i will say that shortly after my entry to the building i was sold on this storage company. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in answering my concerns and questions and then set up a tour meeting for a few days later. Upon my return i was toured through the location with the property manager ( Rasheeda Adair) . I cannot say enough good things about her! She showed me all of the security measures and surveillance . She showed me all the access and functions of the gates, doors, and lights as well as my particular unit and accessibility . She went over all my concerns, extensive questions, paperwork and payment schedule and even showed me where all the important facility info was to be found in my packet. She was caring, genuine, intelligent, and very professional! As a business man myself i was highly impressed as well as doubtless about my decision by the closing of our meeting. They deserve more than five stars in my book!

My Unit Has Been Broken in to, & Robbed! The Employees Said it All go’s Threw the insurance company, I Been Paying For.. CORNERSTONE INSURANCE & ALSO other Units have been robbed, I been Requesting the footage From the Cameras Since Day 1 Feb 4th,I called the Cops, the employees told them the insurance Company will take care of it, They requested police report number & Statement!They didn’t get back to me, a month later I called & they said I have to find the officer & get him to actually write out My Own police Report!That took weeks! I sent it, they never answered ! I call today & I am told my claim is Denied Because the Police didn’t See the Cameras of Force of entry! I went to the storage unit to the manager that’s never there with a sign on the window for hours saying.. be back in 30 min,I get her, the police officer, & Cinder Gamber from Cornerstone Insurance Company together & on Cindy on speaker ! Cornerstone Cindy Gamber telling the police she needs the camera Footage ! Police officer saying that’s not there Job & by law no one was murdered & it’s the insurance company’s a problem! & the employee manager that said she had no Access to the cameras and it was the Insurance company that requests the cameras ! & no one called the Owner to report it, she said oh yea I think we DELETE THE FOOTAGE AFTER A MONTH TOO - that’s destroying Evidence while underneath investigation for a claim ....& insurance said they don’t do none of that just reports the claim! But never asked for the camera footage intill now ! And all telling Me I Been Robbed & I Pay Insurance For no Reason?That I would only get payed if the robber left the lock on the floor, & the police seen it??What am I paying for insurance?What are the cameras there for? Why is there Kides working there not doing there Job?? I need the Owner to contact me at this email, I am not being Robbed againMonday I will go to the Big Court House & Sign a Lawsuit against the storage Facility & ! The Insurance Company! I put on a lot of work& Labor Doing All everybody’s Job to be told “ me Callahan we are denying your claim! Because we can, even tho we made you do all this work but never asked for the cameras footage your F**ked Oopps & Erica, Cindy Gamber Boss Told me she Hopes I Find Peace For getting Robbed by The Robbed & the Insurance Company & she whispered to another person while on the phone, omg I cant take this lady anymore .. that should be recorded & monitored!!!The camera footage is evidence .
