Will never come here for service again…this is the second time I have come for an oil change, the first time I called to schedule an appointment and I was told I don’t need one for an oil change. I came today with no appointment and was told that I need an appointment. No worries I’ll take my money and business elsewhere. ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽

Waste of time. Went in going in to look and test a used car I had set an appointment for days prior. Even got asked what my favorite drink from Starbucks was? When I got there, the car had a flat tire and wasnt able to test drive and the car itself was dirty. They told me they couldnt change the tire until it was bought. So you cant test drive until you actually buy the car.. oh, and I didnt get any starbucks, which I wasnt really worried about to begin with but considering the whole situation seems like a weird thing to ask for no apparent reason. Waste of time, wouldnt recommend.

I was in contact with this dealership. My husband submitted his information which included his license and financial form. They never got back to us to tell us they couldn’t help us or not with trading in our vehicle. I mean if you can’t help or we weren’t approved with the loan just tell us. My husband submitted his license to them which who knows if someone is going to steal his info now because we thought they were going to help us. The sales people don’t know what they are doing or talking about. I submitted a complaint to the DMV against this car dealership. I do not recommend doing business with them. They have the worst customer service.

Worst experience ever. I found a car I was interested in purchasing. Great price. I called on a Friday to see if the auto was available and on the lot to see. I was assured it was. I made an appointment for the next day. I again called before leaving the house the next day as it is quite a drive. I was again told it was on the lot, ready to test drive. When I arrived at my appointment, they were short-staffed, but they would bring the car around to look at until a salesperson was available. When a salesman finally made his way to me, I was told the vehicle was not on the lot, BUT we can get you in another Soul I was okay with that as long it was for the same price as the one advertised. Which he responded he could not do. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but the supervisor would not talk to me. Too busy, I was told. I will never revisit another World Car. Beware of the bait and switch, which World Car has no problem practicing.

If youre looking for a car and want to spend too much time with uneducated salesmen with irrelevant excuses then this is the dealership for you. I was looking for a new car and this dealership was one of the only ones in San Antonio that had what I was looking for. We went in, did the test drive, knew I wanted it. The person who helped me and i use that term very loosely had no idea what they were talking about. They kept talking in circles, repeating things that really didnt need repeating. It was obvious they were inexperienced and had their manager come out. This guy also kept wasting our time, but we had already been there for six hours so I stuck it through to the end. We arrived at the dealership at about midday and we didnt leave until closing time. I still didnt get the new car I wanted yet. I had to come back the next day they said. So I did and I was stuck there another three hours.I realize buying a new car takes time but it should not have taken that long.I should note I came back for the first free oil change. Made an appointment, got there right when they opened and didnt get my car back till lunch time. Why give the option of making an appointment? There is no rhyme or reason to how they proceed with an oil change service. This is a horrible dealership and Im sorry I ever set foot there. Now that I know better I make sure to steer my family and friends away in favor of a more reputable establishment.

Man the reviews don’t lie, AT ALL. Luckily I didn’t wait as long as most folks tho(30 mins). Hilton, GM or some kinda manager, sets an appointment for me to see a car but when I arrive they say, “oh, you’re here for the Cadillac right? I say yes, dude then says, well someone is currently looking at it but that I can wait because it might not go thru.”🥴🥴🥴 then tried to give me excuses about this and that. Man these folks grimey. I had at least a couple grand to put down and most likely woulda drove off in said car. Then again, I hear their used cars are lemons, according to the reviews at least. Good luck, stay safe and have some sense when coming to places like this one.

We went on a rainy day and there were several areas of the dealership building with buckets to catch rainwater. Other than that it was clean, the sales people could use cubes so at least you could feel like your finances are not out in a cafeteria. Our sales person Grace, was very knowledgeable, and ran out into the rain several times to bring up vehicles we wanted to see. We bought a new car that day so it must not have been too bad, lol, but a little work on the building is definitely a must. It really does feel like a cafeteria not a place you want to give thousands of dollars to.

The young gentleman named Andre who helped us went above and beyond from the time we walked in the door until she drove off the lot in her new KIA Soul! Highly Recommend getting service done here very pleased!! Had a knock in my engine find out it was a recall. (Richard) my service advisor and the front support staff were very professional,respectful and extremely helpful threw the whole process . Their quoted time frame and maintenance was spot on. I’ve been to this location on 2 separate occasions. I parked near the front door and walked the entire parking lot both times and was NEVER greeted by a staff member. Most dealerships usually have someone at least greet you, or they swarm you like vultures to fresh meat, but not here.

If the following kind of thing happened to you at World Car Kia South put your complaint on the BBB website and Texas Attorney Generals website. It is illegal: I requested information including the best price on a certain green 2020 Kia Soul EX. I told Kia South dealership employee Cassandra that I didnt want to waste the dealerships time or mine and that I would need the car to be in the $19,000 price range. We exchanged messages and I was assured by Cassandra it would be $19,998.00 for the car in the online advertisement. She also assured me the car would be sanitized and ready for a test drive when we got there at the appointed time. The car was parked in the back of the showroom, had not been sanitized or ready for a test drive.To add insult to injury the car had a $21,796 price tag on it and they would NOT honor the price quoted in messages from Cassandra. They bounced me around from salesperson to manager, to the general manager who said that Cassandra did not bother checking with the sales floor on the price before giving it to me. They tried switching me to a car with less features and in the end offered me a tank of gas for the two hour round trip caused by their deceptive bait and switch tactic. I ask for an owner name and they gave me the number to another World Car Kia dealership in New Braunfels. I actually stopped there to speak to that manager and he said he would pass my concern onto the owner sometime next week. Avoid this dealership at all costs! Attached is their own ad they refused to honor.

Looking for a good used car? Go somewhere else. I was closing the deal on a car with this dealership and was paying cash. Before I signed all the papers that could make me the rightful owner for the car, I was informed that I need proof of insurance on the car. How am I supposed to do that if they car doesnt belong to me?I informed them that I had a grace period before I needed insurance on the vehicle, but they told me that I was ill informed and that Texas requires you to have insurance before driving off of the lot.I looked it up on the Texas Department of Insurance and with my insurance copy. Both said that I have a grace period for insuring what would have been my car. The people running this dealership dont know what they are doing or talking about. Go to either of the two dealerships next door, the people here are ill informed.

Facilities look poorly maintained (dingy floors, (accent lights burning out at front desk) and that raises questions about how conscientious they are about checking and repairing used cars.Salesmen were friendly and capable though. I might still have considered it if they had what we wanted.

Be careful what you buy.........We bought a used vehicle only to find out it had brake & rotor problems which with the complaint of returning the car to them was then repaired. They then told us it needed tires. Now we have the chore of replacing the tires. The cruise control doesnt work, a seatbelt buckle is broken & wont buckle. The windshield washer fluid has a busted hose. Charging ports for the phones only work when they want to. We made the 1st payment & are still finding things that should have been done before they sold the car!!!

The managers however are extremely unhelpful, weve went to the dealership THREE times already and were not assisted in purchasing a vehicle. They seriously need to get it together,covid or not. Got there... nobody greeted us had to actually call to get someone to help us even though we were right there. Appraisal took an he and in that time no one checked on us. We had to look for the sales guy to ask for our keys back and left. It’s ok I’ll buy a car elsewhere. Don’t waste your time and money here. Oh and the buckets to catch the dripping water are still there. They weren’t busy they just didn’t want to do their job.

Had an update done on computer. Took more time than expected, took longer because technition s ha had to share computer to do what was necessary. Then to top it off when you pull into to drop off car and get car under awning you get in and out of car in a puddle of water which was not good although it did rain the night before they should have squeezed the water off for customers getting in and out of car. They did have coffee and staff was nice.I get they always have ti up sale. But if my car is not ready for something like fuel injection cleaning at 15000 miles and you know my car has 10000 miles why do you tell me I need it done.

Came here to get my truck worked on because there was a recall for a part to be replaced, I had an appointment it was a month in advance. I bring my car in so they can work on it and Im told they cant work on it because the part they need is not available!? I really didnt know what to say, I wasted a whole day.

Terrible service department. They lied about my cars engine and refused to replace it under warranty. I took her to another dealership kia north. They replaced the engine under warranty. This 2017 Kia forte ex should of been under the recall but wasnt. It stalled out on the highway going about 80 mph. Its best to take your car to where you bought it for service.

We wanted to share our experience today with World Car Kia South in San Antonio, TX. Our goal was to replace our Chrysler Town & Country with a KIA Sedan. My wife has leased four KIAs previously (Sorrento, Sorrento, Optima, and Sportage) and this time we decided on purchasing a Cadenza. Manuel Garza (sales consultant) greeted us and immediately started with the White Glove treatment. He showed us the Cadenza and put us behind the wheel after briefing us on all the bells and whistles. Wenow understand why he is highly regarded among his peers at the dealership. His professionalism, knowledge, courtesy, and attitude reflects the WORLD CAR customer care that we appreciate. He worked with Tim Starling, the sales manager and together, they got us a great deal on our trade-in and a fantastic deal on the Cadenza. By the time weleft in their car (as a loaner), we pretty much decided it was the car wewanted. With the Holiday weekend, we were concerned about getting to our bank for funds to purchase the car. They assured us that we were okay and we could keep the vehicle till Wednesday if necessary. Wow, talk about customer service. We were able to take care of all the paperwork and drove the car home today (Monday). Thanks to Jaime Gonzalez, business manager, for making the paperwork timely and simple. Our next vehicle will be another World Car experience that we will again enjoy. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY A CAR Just to be clear the 5 star rating is STRICTLY FOR OUR SALESMAN, Conrad Ramirez is the most professional and understanding salesman you could encounter on a day like today. I ONLY recommend of you want professionlism, Conrad is your go to guy. He kept his great attitude, even when the kia motors threw him under the bus. The star rating for Kia is not even on the rate chart 🙄 if there was a negative that is what I would give them. Kia motors finance department and Kia motors (this location) was so unprepared it was ridiculous. I understand that we did not go in with a 700+ credit score but I believe no matter what happens at the end of the day, Kia motors needs to figure out a better approach to handling a 600+ credit score customer. I felt like I was in a circus and the clowns were having their way with me! We only stuck it out to get the car becuse our end goal is to have our son be happy, point blank!

We went by yesterday to look at the Honda civic they had up on their website. After being there for more than four hours. We did research and found out that the Kelley blue book value on the car was between 10,500 to 11,200. When we asked The general manager why they were selling the car at 15000. The general manager told us we could go shop somewhere else. So if you’re looking for a fair deal and someone that will treat you right definitely do not go there. I will post it on my Facebook and anywhere I can to warn them about this place. As a business owner myself I would never treat anyone like that where did agree with me or disagreed. Imagine driving from Houston to San Antonio to buy a car on the one day you have off all month. You sign all the papers and have cash in hand in the form of a cashiers check with full confirmation from the dealership before you leave. You get to the dealer only to find out that they swapped the car you agreed to purchase on the purchase order and gave you a different vin and attempted for the 3rd time to get you to finance through them even though you said no multiple times (also told them not to run our credit because we had already secured financing with our bank but they ran our credit multiple times anyway). Now they won’t accept the cashiers check because it has the vin number of the vehicle we agreed to purchase on the back of the check. Ended up leaving without the car. Most unprofessional and sketch dealership you will ever encounter do not do any business with these people.

Worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. Pull up a chair, its story time. This cannot be made up.I found a new vehicle I was interested in so I called the dealership the stock number to verify availability, as I know sometimes online does not match actual stock. I was informed that the vehicle was available and asked if I would like to set up a time to see it. I said yes and set up an appointment to go in. I get a text from Colvern Henry confirming my appointment. Im told to ask for Tim Starling when I arrive.I drove the almost 1 hour across town to see the vehicle. I arrive and tell the lady at the front that Im there to see Tim Starling. After a few minutes a gentleman comes over to assist. I tell him I have an appointment and that Im here to see a car a provide a stock number. He immediately says, oh that car is a loaner vehicle, we cant sale that. To which I responded with, I called and verified this car was available and drove almost and hour and youre telling me you cant even sale it? The alleged GM was going to find out what was going on with the car I came to look at, but never came to introduce himself or say anything.Then it was the typical dealership switch of let me show you car X which costs $3K more than what you came to look at. I told him I wasnt interested. Since I was there I asked to look at a different vehicle.The salesman, Carlos, then goes to get the keys. Only he instead goes to help another customer who is trying to purchase a vehicle. After waiting outside for about 10 - 15 minutes, I walk inside to see him sitting at a table doing paperwork with another customer. I was dumbfounded.He comes over and says how I didnt have a salesperson assigned when I set up my appointment so he was trying to help multiple people. He was able to get me a price on a used vehicle I had some interest in then he then handed me off to another salesperson, Andre. I explained to Andre that he was being set up and explained everything that had happened. I that this was not likely going to be smooth process because I was irritated. He was very attentive and tried his best to rectify the situation.Andre goes to get the keys for the car. Only they cant find the keys. After about 10 - 15 minutes he comes to let me know they cant find the keys. All I can do is laugh. He asks if I would like some water and if I would like to see the carfax while I wait. I said sure and went inside.After another 15 minutes or so Andre sheepishly comes back to say they are having printer problems and the carfax wont print. Again, I can literally just laugh at this point. Eventually they do get the carfax. But they never find the keys and after 2 hours at the dealership and almost an hour each way driving, I dont even get to see a vehicle Im remotely interested in.The GM was present the entire time this was going on and not once does he come over and apologize, or do anything to imply he is concerned about a customer being misled or the fact that I havent seen a vehicle for 2 hours. I will never shop at any dealership under the World Car name again. Im working formal complaints with the DMV, BBB, and Kia/Hyundai corporate. I have to give 1 star in order to post, but they arent deserving of that either.

Came in here to talk about buying a new stinger. Horrible customer service and bad prices. I was essentially told to take it or leave it because “we don’t negotiate prices.”Long story short, I called around to a couple of other dealerships and was able to get the exact same car with same terms, etc for almost $4,000 less and a much more enjoyable experience.Do yourself a favor and give your business to someplace else.

This was the worst dealership I had ever been to. The experience from start to finish was horrible. I was made to feel worthless and was told the car I wanted was not possible. I was given someone who knew nothing about vehicles and at that he left for about 40 min to go help other people while helping me. After I was ready to leave and sure I wasn’t purchasing anything from them the refused to give me back my keys from my trade in. I will not go back in the future or recommend this location to anyone.

The professionalism I have received from this place speaks volumes of what they have accomplished. Manny (Manuel Garza)is one the best . He will ensure that satisfaction is exceeded. I feel bad for all of the poor souls that this dealership has duped into spending way too much money.If you dont want to waste your time, dont bother coming here.Today my dad and I drove a 2.5hr round trip to this place with VERY clear intentions. We had scheduled a test drive after receiving a fair written offer for the car that I absolutely had my heart set on once I heard that price. Which is unfortunate because that changed shortly after we arrived.Ill start off by saying, if you are worried about COVID-19 I would steer clear of this place. We were told upon making our appointment that the car would be sanitized and waiting to be test driven. When we got there (a bit later than planned, even) the car was in the back of the showroom, so I can hardly trust that it was sanitized.In addition to that there was a price tag hanging on the mirror stating that the ~*4th of July sale price*~ was $1,798 MORE than the offer we had received just that morning. Next to this patriotic sale price was a hand-scribbled note describing its shiny ~*Appearance Package*~ (NOT included on website) containing 2/4 things that cant be proven (unless with some forged documents perhaps?), window tint that already appears on the car on the website and wheel locks which I honestly didnt care to check at that point. All of these things conveniently and vaguely totaled out to $1,798.We were told by a salesman, the sales manager and by Hilton, the general manager, that there was absolutely nothing they could do to bring down the price. No negotiation or explanation as to how any of these 3 musketeers had attempted to help us in any way otherwise. All they could do is say no and try to justify the shiny new add-ons. To make matters worse they tried to throw the receptionist under the bus for initially giving us the actual price.You can practice your customer calming skills all you want, but its not going to work when you can hide behind your t-shirt cutout-mask and we can smell your B.S. through our own.

They didn’t even check the battery health, two days after I bought a fairly new Dodge Challenger the battery stopped working. Purchasing was a nightmare and they gave me conflicting information if my wife needed to be there or if she could purchase contactless. Took about a total of 9 hours of sitting at the dealership to close.

Had a good experience when I purchased the vehicle. Omar was a very helpful salesman. The service department however is so unprofessional and not helpful at all. I went in on a Saturday at opening time and was told I could not do an oil change without an appointment (Ive made appointment in the past and was told I didnt need one for oil change) I went ahead and made an appointment on a Tuesday, took time off from work and when I get there am told they couldnt do it because I scheduled at 1 and it wasnt enough time to do it. Was told I couldnt talk to a manager or supervisor because coincidentally they were all in a meeting at the same time as my appointment! Ridiculous!

Called about a car multiple times to verify its availability as soon as 15 minutes before arriving. Asked a salesman to test drive the car, waited for 20 minutes and then he said that the car was taken to auction the that morning.Hours before we asked about it.The car was still on the website as available the next day.Not to mention the layout is atrocious and the salesman wasted our time asking for useless information when we had the stock number of the car we wanted to test drive.

What kind of business doesnt answer their phone? Twice Ive needed to speak to Service and it took me several days of calling to get through. After a dozen attempts Ive gotten someone to finally answer the main number, then am transferred to Service where a recording says the mailbox is full. This has happened when I needed to get my first oil change and the only other time Ive needed something was today when my 6 mo old brand new car would not start and I cant even get the key out. Very disappointed in this company and would never have bought thru them if I had known it would be so difficult to communicate with them. I live on the other side of town or would just drive over there to talk to someone.

Parts and service department needs a class in costumer service. The only person that was helpful was Alexis. Noone else there can answer questions. I was there from 10am to 530pm so they can check my 2020 Kia and didnt get it returned back to me till 29 days later. General manager was helpful and was able to help me finally get to enterprise rental after 7 hrs of waiting there

Is the worst place for buy a car I tried to trade two cars and buy cheap Kia Rio but they are bully they gave me terrible price. I was feel very bad . I never see like that deals before. Everything seemed great at first, fast replies in the text but after we actually arrived it was another story. I had a trade in and knew I was going to take a good 5k hit because of that which Im fine with and excepted. So we talked about my price for the new car and as seen I stated 18k for the actual car. I was sent the ones that would be in price range after discounts and such but when I arrive apparently that was not the case. I was passed off to someone else and after being told there was nothing in my price range a few times i was brought two options that could be close. Showed these same texts and email but they couldnt explain why the sales person would say this. Asked to them to find out why I was told these things but never received an actual response, kept repeating the trade in isnt worth what you owe and its about a 5k hit which was already known and had nothing to do with the price of the new car. I drove over an hour to get to the dealership... My only guess is they will tell you anything to get you into the door to sell you on something more expensive. No honesty or integrity here, would not recommend and will not be going back. Going to be checking on the legality of this, almost my entire day off wasted.

Yesterday 1/27/20 I visited this dealership and was taken care of by Rene and Carlos. Rene had the car I wanted to view ready for me, I was even earlier than what I told him I would be. We went on a test drive and I felt well taken care of as customer. Even at the dealership he brought me water, a soda, and even offered me snacks.Carlos went out of his way to call me and work with me and see if I needed anything before I even arrived. I recommend these guys and this dealership.Jamie who I signed the contract with made me feel valued, and was so humble.Please visit these guys, they will take care of you, they will make you feel valued, I would go back and buy from them again.

Terry Deppe is very professional and informative, he goes above and beyond to ensure everything is done as requested, in addition he always advises you of any recalls or concerns and always keeps you updated to the status of your vehicle. Now that my transaction is finally complete I can leave my review.Ill start off by saying I got to the dealership at noon and didnt leave until around 8pm. Ive purchased used cars in the past and I have NEVER had a vehicle purchase take this long before. So I was definitely restless by the time I FINALLY had the keys to drive off.Second: Ive worked in sales in the past and the one thing you need to have to sell anything is knowledge about the product you are selling. My sales person seemed completely out of it, through the entire process and had no insight about the car I wanted to buy. With past car buying experiences the salesmen/women knew or had some idea about every car on the lot, she didnt know what was there until she pulled up their website, which I couldve done (which I did ahead of time). The ONLY reason she got a sale out of me was because I knew exactly what I wanted and already knew everything about the car. If you work in the auto industry I believe you should know how to drive a manual vehicle… watching her attempt to move my trade-in around to the back for an appraisal was QUITE entertaining! Lastly, when everything was done and finalized she went to wash the car. When she came back she parked the car, shortly after, myself and the other employees around me noticed that the car I JUST PURCHASED was sitting in the middle of the lot touching another car. So the car rolled and hit another car in the lot, which means, she never put the car in park and luckily there was no damage to either car. Nothing came from this, not even an apology.Third: On multiple occasions during my day spent sitting around waiting, I brought up the fact that the tread on the tires were pretty darn low and on multiple occasions and I was told it would be addressed by multiple different people. After everything was finalized, I transferred everything from my old car to the new one and was ready to drive off, I then noticed that the tires were the exact same and I heard nothing about it.  Everyone I asked about it completely forgot and didnt do anything about it. By this point Im done mentally and just left.Fourth: The one GOOD thing I can say about them is that they definitely worked with me to get the car. I had no intentions of buying car that day, so I had no deposit. They got me the car for exactly what I wanted to pay, without it. Which was great! And the only reason I’m not giving a 1 star.Lastly, I was told the vehicle had a spare key and I would get it the day I pick up my plates. A month and half later, I call to check on the plates and I am told that theyve been had them and that she was unsure why no one called me about them. I pick up the plates and ask about the spare key, everyone asks a different person and no one actually looks for it, before telling me that there is no spare key...Needless to say, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Its unfortunate because they were awesome with financing, but probably some of the worst customer service I have ever received from a dealership.

I saw my dream car online and had to go to the dealership to check it out. As soon as we got there we were greeted by Manuel the sales rep. He showed us the car and helped us all the way through. When working on the paper work we were helped by Jerry and he was very nice and got all the paperwork ready in a timely manner. There were little things that had to be fixed on the car and were promised on the contract. Let me tell you that Manuel, Jerry and all the employees there at the dealership took care of everything! I’m so pleased with their service for helping us get my dream car!!!! Thank you guys!!

DO NOT BUY USED from WORLD CAR KIA SOUTHLess than 20 days ago I bought a used Kia. I was assured that it was serviced & in top working condition. Last night it overheated. Smoke was billowing from under the hood. I was on the interstate & scared.I called World Car Kia. They would not offer any type of service to fix the car without the money coming out of my pocket. I was referred to the extended service warranty the finance dept pushed on me.But hey, now I know why they wanted to sell it.I called the extended warranty to file a claim. Only to find out the finance dept never put the car in my name. Now I have a car that doesnt run and I cannot even use the extended warranty that I pay to have. DO NOT BUY USED from WCK South.

Had to wait for almost two hours despite having an appointment. They snuck in an extended warranty after we insisted that we would not pay for one after assureimg us that the extended warranty was no actra charge and then charged us for one anyway. We followed THEIR instruction on the paperwork THEY gave us on how to cancel said extended warranty and now still saying we have not properly requested a cancelation. Also started to get spam calls about us owning a car that we looked at buying from the World Car but did not. This World Car will sell your information to scammers. DO NOT come here.

I went here recently to purchase my first car and have my father as a co-signer. The salesman was great he answered all of our questions and was very friendly. That’s about the extent of their good service. After waiting about 2.5 hours for numbers they come back to say my credit was declined which is understandable since it was my first car. However what they didn’t disclose is they ran my credit a total of 12 different times and ran my fathers at least 5. I have never heard of a dealership running that many inquiries before. The sales manager didn’t offer any sort of apology after hitting my credit with so many hard inquiries. And was quick to get us out after we brought it to his attention. All in all I do not recommend coming here even if you have a pre-approved loan.
