My favorite coffee place.☕ Brewed coffee with Hazelnut is always a good choice if you like it hot. I also like The original Mocha Ice Blend with whipped cream. No drive-thru at this location but the patio is nice and roomy. Friendly Baristas.

I love their coffee, LONG time (years) customer, but it seems their Common Sense is lacking. Truthfully, I hate to leave a bad review. Im a business owner. But I dislike more that they CHOOSE to waste all these cups, lids, etc...when I politely ask them to pour into my own, clean mug. (And to make it worse, to tell me its due to covid, please...have some common sense: 1. You can pour into my mug w/out touching, 2. It doesnt live on surfaces more than what 3 seconds? I own a Food/Bev business, IF you are properly cleaning your utensils, its a NON-issue.) Just my humble opinion.

How is this place always closed when the hours say it’s open?? This is the second time I’ve come and they aren’t open when they should be.. like the people and the coffee when they are present.. need my daily coffee people ! Lol

I love this The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store. They are so nice at this location. My favorite barista is David he is so nice and that’s the reason why I always go here. Every time I go he is there he even recognizes my name. He is Awesome. I like their Seasonal drinks especially the holiday drinks around Christmas!! 😀👍

This place disappoints time and time again. I only go because its near my job. The coffee is OK but way overpriced, and I thought starbucks was expensive. Customer service is really lacking. No friendly greetings. Most importantly DO NOT order any of the hot breakfast items. They gave me my egg and ham sandwich COLD and it was so gross. The egg was like egg salad. Ive tried the wrap and it also nasty.

The one person that took our order was great, he was very nice, creative and went out of his way to help us with our drinks. The person making the drinks was also great, the drinks were very tasty. The measurements were perfect. Thank you guys.

Stopped by to grab a coffee and a quick bite while on the road. After waiting 25 minutes got a lousy latte and my breakfast sandwich was microwaved and stuck to the packaging. Threw them on the trash. What a waste of rime and money.

Why is it that every single time I Come to this location I get rude customer service. I went In today and the little girl with her red and black hair was so rude. I asked for a modification and she denied it. She was so mad at life. I went in there in a good mood and she literally killed that. Then she yelled at customers when they walked in without a mask; like there is a nicer way to tell your customers to put on a mask while indoors. This place is so very unprofessional and lacks kindness. I’m saddened by how the staff here represents TCBTL.... shame

I am a coffee lover, thus I am so picky about it. When I tasted their coffee here, I was so amazed for it has a good mix of flavor. I loved it so much! Thus, the next day, I invited my friends and I also brought my family here. If you enjoy reading books while having a cup of coffee, they have more interesting books here. Just come!

Varied menu, great friendly service Unique drinks to Coffee Bean vs. some are right along the lines of Starbucks. Great indoor environment and delightful patio in the early Summer evening ! Black Cherry coffee drink is the best ! I highly recommended this place. Must try.

Rude counter people, barking at people to keep or put their mask on, even though one guy was just taking a sip of his (most likely overpriced) tea!We get the stupid mask thing, but you don’t have to be rude about it. Many people visiting this store are from other states, some who do NOT have stupid mask mandates. You should be much nicer! Won’t be back!!

I took my mask off outside because it was hot. Was putting it back on to go inside, didnt quite have it over my nose and looped around the other ear but was doing just that while I was opening the door and holding it open for my masked mother.... and not even within a few seconds of opening the door I got yelled at by the barista to put my mask on if I wanted to come inside.I asked her if she just yelled at us to put on a mask? She answered well ya theres a sign on our door. I told her we had it on, but needed a second to put the rest on, but she followed up with well if you read the sign it says on the sign you need a mask.We had our masks on, and as I told her, she didnt even give us a chance before just yelling at us. She replied well you have to have a mask. I had a mask on.We just walked out. Thats very rude and embarrassing, and horrible customer service. I dont appreciate being talked to like that, especially when I am following the rules and she wasnt even looking at us fully.

High quality coffee tea and other assorted beverages, but they called security on for loitering over an hour on their patio...I will not return.

The worst experience at a coffee shop so far. Asked for a warmed cheese danish, got it cold. Had forgotten a cookie I paid for, they were decent about it. Asked for warm drinks, got scalding hot ones. Returned one for it to be made warm, the girl visiting the guy at the bar started interjecting with some story about how you cant change the temperature for drinks?? So, they dunked ice into the drink. Safe to say, Im writing this review so Ill remember not to come back.

I love the Coffee Bean and Rea Leaf! I spend about 2 to. Three days downtown in the am because I belong to Curves so Coffee Bean is usually a stop for coffee after excerise and lunch! Swedish Berry iced tea is good. Right ratio of tea to ice, only it tasted a little watered down.I am glad they have ample outside seating space.

My wife and i stopped here for a mid morning cup of coffee. The coffee was excellent. Very flavorful and met my expectations. The service left us feeling more like an inconvenience than a customer. And they werent busy at all. There were maybe three customers who came in while we were there, and only one was there when we arrived. With two employees behind the counter and one cleaning chairs in the table area, i would hope for a happy to help you attitude. Oh well... The coffee was good, though.

My wife and I always enjoy visiting coffee Bean & tea leaf. Dirk drinks are always flavorful and well done. I would recommend this coffee shop over a Starbucks any given day of the week and any time of the day. Their coffee is not bitter. Their staff is always friendly. I greatly appreciate this coffee shop.

Classy decorating, clean interior, and good drinks. Lots of shaded outside seating as well. Peaceful, as its right next to mission inn and all the shops surrounding it. Great place to relax and get some work or studying done.

The coffee is always good.. I wanted to try something new but didnt know exactly what.. usually a couple suggestions are thrown out there like the one by the plaza..but not so much here. Still great place for yummy coffee.

Went to this one by the Mission Inn to hang while a friend was at a doctor appt. Their coffee and service was good and the place had plenty of seating including outside patio in front of the Mission Inn. My only disappointment was I was told I could not use their restrooms even though the sign said not for public but customer only... I thought I was a customer! So hence the loss of 2 stars !!

Great service! I order the mocha green tea latte blended with almond milk every morning. Its amazing and taste the same everytime!

Horrible service. This was my first time at this coffee bean location (second at coffee bean overall). Two young men, maybe teenagers, were working at the time. I order a green tea because I was feeling at little under the weather. The young man working the cashier hands me a laminated paper which seems to be a list of hot teas they serve. I asked for regular green tea with honey. The young man then asked if I wanted the honey on the side. I said, “sure.” He hands me 3 sticks of honey that are packaged in a what looks like a straw pinched at both ends for sealing. I proceed to sit down and try to open the honey sticks and I couldn’t get them opened by just tearing away at it. I again tried to use my teeth to gently open the honey stick and had no success. So I went back to the cashier and asked, “how do I open these things?” He chuckles and said, “pinch the top of one end of the honey and if that doesn’t work pinch the other end.” His demeanor was that I should obviously know how to open the honey sticks. This method worked the first time (if you know that’s how it’s done). I ask to use the restroom and he gave me a clipboard that is used as a fob to gain access to the restroom which was through the back door, down the hallway and to the left, which he never told me. He assumed, yet again, that I knew what I was doing. These guys should truly step their game up. I know they’re young and some have too many cares in the world, but management should make sure customers are getting excellent service. I will not go to this location again. I might not visit a coffee bean again either.

You wont be disappointed in the menu and service. Had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. Food is like a place in Baltimore I loved.

From my experience, the staff was professional. I really liked Malibu Dream which is a smoothie of strawberry, banana, and another ingredient I didnt catch. The seating is comfortable and there is outdoor seating for those that like the outside weather.

The coffee was good but for some reason the person taking my order did not grasp onto what my order was. I just ordered an iced coffee with milk. Line wasnt even that long and it took forever for someone to take my order and also for it to be ready.

The ice coffee is very delicious. The Carmel flavor has a light of hint sweetness with a little bit of creamy taste that has your taste buds wanting more😋

Friendly good service first time at a coffee bean the girl help me out with my mocha frapp. I gotta say the coffee was not too bad . I like Starbucks mocha frapps more way better. I just had to try the coffee bean.

Now its as good or better than my home-brewed.Although I gave the pleasant decor a 3, many of the tables are wobbly. So please corporate - are you hearing this? I went there on a Saturday morning to meet with a UCR rep to discuss a business idea. The dining or sitting area was not maintained. The floors and tables were not cleaned. I even let the staff know but nothing was done. There were homeless there that were either half-asleep or resting, taking up much of the space. This made it uncomfortable, though I do have compassion for people who lack residences.I was also over-charged for coffee that I had ordered because they didnt have the nitro drink I wanted to try. They just apologized and asked if I wanted something else and then did not give me the difference(I ordered the cheapest, plain cup of coffee).I am stunned by how this place was and I have to presume that enough money is made so they do not care. They are in such a great location. If I owned this particular establishment, I would reprimand the staff and terminate management.I hope this helps someone out there. I had frequented this place a year or so before and did not find it this way. Perhaps it was just this one time. I believe in making allowances if this is the case.

There ice blended ceramel was delicious.Better than Starbucks too because my order only too 2 minutes and at Starbucks I have to wait a long time. The staff were really nice and fast and no long lines either. So anyone who wants coffee or tea in less than 2 minutes come on down to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. 💓☕🥐💓😋👌

First off the crew doesnt greet you. Even though it was a mobile order I still had to wait almost 20 minutes, and lastly they didnt give me any straws so I had to stop for straws for the customers that ordered

They are always clean which is no small feat in downtown Riverside. Although sometimes short-staffed (dont park in the 15 minutes parking if you want a blended drink or something too complicated), I appreciate the friendliness of the baristas and the freshness of the food. CBTL has better coffee than the green straw folks so theres no more need to comment about that.

Customer Service is terrible! The girls that were making my coffee were giving me rude looks and looked very irritated and angry. Also the Apple Pay DOES NOT work. I tried to pay with Apple Pay and then the machine just went blue. Overall, horrible experience. Will not be going here again.

Very good coffee place, coffee Bean & Tea Leaf was my first choice till I visited coffee bean store at 3712 mission inn Riverside California, I was in an urgent need to use the rest room that was locked and shared by another place of pizza restuarant, so I asked the coffee bean staff nicely to give me the key for the men restroom, but she told the key is with someone using it at this time, so I waited like 15 minutes at the door and I knocked but no answer then I went back to beg for the key but they insist not to handle it to me instead they claim somebody may left it inside . Then I went to the pizza restuarant that they were sharing the same restroom and they handle to me another entry key, when I open the door I found that nobody was inside either any key left inside . As the coffee bean staff claim.I will not go back again

The best place to find coffee on the west coast. I dont often drink blended frozen coffee, but the Black Forest with an extra shot of expresso is what keeps bringing me back to this establishment when Im out this way for work. Way better than anything Starbucks, Dunkin, or Tim Hortons have to offer.

Service was fast, the girl at the register was nice and curtious. The only thing the counter where the sugars and the creamers were at was a mess and there was no creamer my mom had to go ask for it, no vanilla either. Thats the only reason I give it four stars, other than that, the coffee bean is a great place for coffee and to hang out.

Never wouldve gone here ever if it wasnt for me picking up a Postmates order. Im #teamStarbucks myself. One of the workers was very rude and I almost lost it but I had to remember that I was essentially at work. But I had to pick up two orders and when I proceeded to get the 2nd one... She snapped out... It was her tone more than anything and I think that they need to train some people more extensively. There is a way to talk to customers no matter what you think is going on.

Great place and great customer service, parking is really bad though. Its limited, full almost always, and will definitely have to drive around that block a few times until you get lucky. Unless you dont mind walking a block or two, parking is just not convenient.

The good news, if youre into this sort of thing, is that this CBTL is scammable for free drinks. Give an incoherent order and then insist you ordered more. Staff will make it without your having pay if it follows the pattern Ive observed. In general, the drinks here are inconsistent and depend entirely on the particular staffperson preparing them. Since its a chain, Id expect better.

The coffee was alright but at the end of the day, this is just another overpriced coffee shop. I was new to town and looking for a new go to place for coffee. Was hoping for better based on the reviews but like I said, its just another coffee shop trying to make up for their ritzy location by charging an arm and a leg for their drinks. Different names but basically another Starbucks.
