It was the best experience always! Not only they provide great coffee and pastries but amazing services too. This coffee shop is really worth visiting because of its amazing atmosphere and a great set of baristas that can make your coffee more special. I will surely recommend this coffee shop to everyone! Everything here is all worth it!

There black coffee either taste like boiled dirty dish water, or extremely acidic there is literally no in-between.

Nice place, and plenty of chairs. The drinks here are great if you know what you like (I got an iced mocha, it was delicious), and there are sugar packets, sticks to stir your coffee with, napkins, and sweeteners (if I remembered correctly). The workers here just do their job and arent mean about it, so this is a good place to go.Overall: 4/5

Delicious coffee, I tried the horchata iced latte, and the tiramisu blended drink and they were both amazing. Ucr us really lucky to have such a great coffee shop on campus.

Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. The place has a good atmosphere. Atmosphere and food reminds me of Virginia Beach.

Most days it is very nice and the staff is very helpful. During the summer when most of the students are gone the staff is incredibly more friendly cause they arent as busy. They were very patient as my 4 year old wanted to order and pay for the cups of ice we wanted to stay cool. They helped and when she asked normal 4-year-old questions.

Arrived at five, it wasnt busy. there was quick, helpful, and friendly service. it has a great atmosphere. i can see why they have a lot of great reviews.

The customer is great, they are all good people. The Malibu Dream is by far my favorite smoothie here. And for those hot summer days, the Peach Jasmine iced tea is awesome!

It’s good coffee, BUT they always manage to fill up the cup with ice and then pour some coffee. When I come to a coffee shop, I don’t order for the ice, I order for the coffee. If I tell them to put light ice, they say that the coffee won’t fill up the cup. That’s because you need to make more coffee, not fill it up with more ICE!

This is a good CBTL! The student staff does a great job, they are very efficient for such a busy location, and the drinks are always well made. My one issue is that, despite various remodelings over time, the outlets have long been insufficient (its a college campus--people do want to sit and get work done) and dont always work.

Always friendly. Get my beverages here every day. The place is busy but they are efficient. The interior is very clean and theres plenty of seating inside and out. Best place for coffee or tea on the UCR campus!

Honestly this was so amazing, the workers are very nice and fast working. I got my coffee in about 2 minutes and it tasted great, I would for sure come again and try everything on the menu.

Great except sometimes they make the wrong order and its usually pretty busy if you go between classes. Not enough tables/seating but thats accounted for by the small building. Busy atmosphere.

One of the career workers was rude. I brought my own cup just to get ice water. As I was getting my water, she said You know you can do it by yourself. It was super hot outside and all I wanted was ice water. She tried to deny service to me.

I fell in love w/ CBTLs hot vanillas and blended pure vanillas (with soymilk), the summer of 2018 😋🍦CBTL had a cute little spice bar back then, and when I added cardamom to my hot vanilla, it tasted like chai 😋They were closed a couple of months as they transitioned from UCR to corporate, and the spice bar disappeared 🤔 But they reopened Nov 2018 in time for the holiday drink specials! 👍🎃🍁❄Spring 2019 I finally joined their Rewards program, then they closed for a few months and completely remodeled. They reopened August 2019, complete with Tartan soul, and just in time for me to use my b-day reward 😊☕(The Rewards program helps make up for the fact that the hot vanillas are a bit pricey, especially when adding soymilk, for what is essentially a hot chocolate!)Ive tried various items for lunch. One of my go-tos is their caprese sandwich 🍅🥪 Typically enjoyed w/ my fave iced Tropical Passion tea 😍September I tried and loved their pretzel, egg and mozzarella sandwich 😋🍳 but unfortunately it has disappeared and I was informed it is a seasonal item 😕November I indulged on their new & surprisingly tasty everything croissant, after my coworker who loves everything bagels gave it a try 🥐😋As can be expected, these are a mix of pre- and post- renovation pics!

Told the barista I wanted a white mocha latte. Got rung up for a white chocolate latte and a mocha latte. Got the most dumb rude look when I questioned her. Told her I want one drink. A white latte. Watched them make me a white chocolate cappachino. Maybe educate your employees. :) pretty pathetic.

Decent coffee but the lines are insane. Highly recommend going early in the morning to avoid a wait or download the mobile order app.

Ok, I believe most of coffee bean store are better than Starbucks, this one is on campus more lovely, I personally like couple of baristas because they are super sweet and nice, and the place is kinda good for studying, they are also bunch of tables outside utilized with outlets and lights. Anyway, they aren’t one dollar as google says, they are obviously more expensive than Starbucks if we say that one is one dollar.
