I’m the ex and I didn’t have any of those people post bad reviews Mike really is that bad of a business owner. I’ve also had his guys and him install carpet and laminate at my house. They do good work and Mike has been doing this his whole life but since the breakup he has become very irresponsible almost self destructive. He lies about everything, if his lips are moving he’s lying. Do yourself a favor, odds are one in ten you’ll hire him and have a good outcome, go somewhere else for your flooring. He also has to borrow money to pay for materials and then never repays the loan which is why I’m posting this. He owes me about $11,000.00 collectively between recent loans and loans my mom made to him before she died. He doesn’t understand repaying the estate/credit card. He’s just a bad person.

Worst customer service EVER! If you have any issues with their work you can forget any type of resolution. Once Mike has your money thats it. See ya later bye.Does this base board installation look professional to you? Installer was sent out to replace the newly installed base. Instead he smeared the mitered corners with caulking and called it a day!We paid to have the kitchen flooring removed and replaced. The installer however chose to butt the new family room flooring to the existing kitchen planks and just fill the gap with putty. Now that its been down a month its darkened and looks even worse. AMAZING!No refund for paid contracted work not done. Baseboards were not corrected and Mike has no intentions of correcting anything.Hes a lot of talk with no action.

Mike, the owner of the company Family flooring is a men of his word; his crew, especially Ryan did very professional job, and recently completed our second floor with laminate flooring. We are impressed and will hire only them again for our next project to do our first floor. Highly recommend.

We were originally satisfied with the work however there was moisture coming through and our floors were completely ruined after a few months. The problem was they laid new vinyl flooring on top of the original hard wood. He came by to check it out and we never heard from him again. I don’t give advice often but I would definitely seek business elsewhere. There are multiple bad reviews on google.For the record I never met his ex and not sure what he is talking about. I guess that is the easiest excuse to use.

Family Flooring will not come through on any of their promises. Failed to install the carpeting correctly. And after a full year, they have not returned to repair it. Even after many many promised dates have come and gone. They have now changed their phone number and I was told that the owner moved to Bullhead Arizona. Run away from this business as soon as you can.

We needed laminate flooring put in and we had three different estimates. Family Flooring had the best prices by far and the products were superior also we had them do our entire downstairs and staircase the process wasQuick and easy and the installers were amazing I will be recommending Family flooring to all my family and friends. Thank you again Mike, for the wonderful job you did for us!!

Mike was 100% honest and upfront about the cost, with no hidden after the fact charges. His highly skilled 2 man crew put down vinyl click lock tile including baseboards in less time than was expected. I own a property management co in Orange County and Family Flooring will without question get my future business. If you want it done right without the usual bs. Let Mike handle it. You would secure for a family owned business if you would be more nice and then Michael is very rude unresponsive For the shotty work that he leaves you better off finding another family owned business since the coronavirus you to figure people will be nicer for more customers

Ricky was very informative and helped tremendously with choosing not only our product (vinyl vs carpet) but also our color scheme (matching.) Appreciate the help and looking forward to our install.

We had flooring done. Laminate and also carpet. It looks fabulous. The service in sales was awesome and the installers went above and beyond to make us happy

Took three days to do a one day job... The floors guys are great, I have to say the baseboard guys suck... After a good look, some of the baseboards are damaged... Hopefully paint will make it unnoticed. Poor communication with the owner... Would never ever use these people again.. Family owned maybe, but not a true family business......

Terrible company!! Zero follow through on issues or defects. Mike doesnt return customer calls and doesnt want to fix any problems that may arise after install is complete. Buyers beware!!
