I would have loved to give this place 5 stars for their on-paper service, but there are some things that happened from my experience that I couldnt give it 5 stars. I first went to Sundown for their affordable pricing on ceramic tint and life-time warranty. I scheduled a morning appointment and they took me in promptly. They told me it would take roughly 4 hours to do the back half o the car (4 windows), sun roof, and windshield, so I called a cab to take me to work. They certainly got it done in due time.1) Tint Job: It was good, no bubbles as of 2 weeks from the job. The quality of the ceramic tint is definitely worth the price. I can definitely feel a significant heat reduction from the windshield and the interior all together.2) Customer Service: Cordial and somewhat professional. I only say somewhat because I called them the same day I got my car back and told them that pieces of my door frame was left on the backseat. I could hear the front desk girl asking the guys in the back about the issue, and I could hear them laughing about it. I didnt find that respectable. I came back within an hour and drove straight to the garage rather than the parking lot. One of the guys took care of my door frame by piecing it back together quickly.3) Vehicle Care: I noticed one long scuff/scratch on the inside of my driver door. I found it odd because they werent even supposed to work on the driver window. I also noticed some small scuffs around the interior and it just disappointed me.Overall: The material and the the ACTUAL application of the window tint was good, but that can be done by a lot of other businesses. The care they put in my car makes me question if it was worth the money to go to Sundown.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this whole process was. We had a consultation on Wednesday of last week and our window tint was installed yesterday - only four days later. The installation team was only inside my home for three hours. Covid-19 protocols were followed. Since its been less than a day since installation, I cant say for sure how the tinting will work for heat control, but for light control - so far its impressive. We only installed tint on our upstairs windows and it hasnt really been hot enough to know what it will be like when its 120 degrees outside but Im almost positive we wont be disappointed.

We had Sundown tint our upstairs windows to reduce UV Light and Heat. They did a good job and have a lifetime guaranty (for as long as the buyer lives in the home). We are satisfied with the work that was done.

They were very patient and understanding to our needs. They were able to install commercial window tint for our building. Even though they were not our original installers, they went out of their way to make sure we had the right window tint before they installed for us. They were fast, reliable and their communication to help us through this was great! We will use them again for future projects and I highly recommend them.

A couple years ago, I had sun control window film applied to windows in my home by Sundown. An accident caused one of the windows to break. The film held the glass in place and kept the broken pieces intact, reducing chance of injury. After the broken glass was replaced, I contacted Sundown and spoke with Zach. He sent out a technician the same day to replace the film. George arrived on time and completed the job quickly and neatly. I use Sundown for all my home and auto window tinting needs. Great company, great products, great customer service!

I usually do not put negative comments…. In summary, buyers beware. Take before pictures of your car, especially around the windows and date it. Had all my car (2013 Audi TT) windows tinted on sep 14,2020 at Sun down window tinting in Riverside. The comments online had 4.7 rating so I was optimistic. Got a call 2 hrs after drop off and was told the defrost lines on my windshield melted due to aging and soap. Left wiggly lines. They had to redo it and would have to scrape all the rest of the defrost paint off first. Since I did not inspect my defrost lines prior to bringing it in, I did not argue. And I think the tinting is more important than the defrost line at this time, so I asked them to continue. Came to pick up the car and saw that there are small bubbles throughout the tint. Was told that these tints are thick, will take time to dry. I think California heat at 100+ degrees should dry things pretty fast. It was late during the day and I need to take the car. Came home and found debris all over the car. Started vacuuming, cleaning and wiping off the car. Found new scratches on inside of both doors close to the glass. Today, the bubbles did not change. I paid $600 for the job and got lousy results with scratches on my car. Have had three cars tinted before and this never happened. I am not confident in this shop to fix their mistakes without damaging my car further. If there’s a a Madico rep reading this, any advice as to next step would be appreciated.

Excellent work by the Sundown team on our high south facing windows. The application of the tint film make a large impact on interior heating on a bright, sunny day.

Very pleasant experience. Everyone was friendly and polite. The waiting room was clean and stocked with coffee, tea and water. The tinting was done quickly...much quicker than originally quoted to me. Only downside was there was nowhere to charge my phone! Would definitely highly recommend Sundown.

We have been using sundown for there window tinting service life time warranty for as long as you have you vehicle. For over 15 yrs of great service. They are true to there word no hassle, no questions asked as long as you hold on to your receipt should you need to replace your tint.

Back in February of 2016, Jose did a wonderful job on my husbands car. It still looks as good as the day it was done. I did a lot of research before choosing Sundown. We live in the High Desert but it was worth the drive because they had the best Formula One product at the best price. Jose was extremely nice too.We are thinking of getting another car done as soon as we can afford it. and we will definitely be going back to Sundown. I came here to check to see if they are still in business and am relieved to see that they are so I dont have to start researching to find another place. I feel bad that I put off writing this review so long.

I got my tint done a few weeks ago. My Subaru ascent & my husband wrx. So far so good! The tint is quality so it won’t turn purple & get bubbles, plus it comes with a lifetime warranty.

I was looking to have a kitchen window tinted. I called and had a person named Jeremy show up at my home to give me an estimateThe whole sit down experience was very rushed and awkward. Jeremy rushed throughout the whole estimate ordeal. That was a red flag for me, I was very uncomfortable. It seemed that his agenda was to rush through the estimate as fast as possible.He left me the paperwork, told me he would call me to set up a time and day to get started.......well Im still waiting. Jeremy came to do the estimate on June 26, 2019 today is July 27, 2019 and I am still waiting .........(crickets)I called another company when I saw which way this was going and they came out immediately and got the job done in 2 days including coming out for the estimate. My windows look awesome no thanks to Sundown Window Tinting.Honestly guys this is not good customer service, this is how you lose potential customers. I had friends and family interested as well as soon as they found out I was going to use them,cell I have since referred them to the other company I used. They got all our business, you unfortunately did not.Train your reps a little better on personal service and responsibility on following up with new potential clients.Im glad I went with someone else, I could only think the nightmare I might have been put through. First impressions mean everything!!!!

This is the 5 car, truck I’ve had tinted at Sundown in Riverside. Mind you I live 4 hours away in San Luis Obispo, California. 2 years ago I had one of my cars Tinted in SLO. It was so bad I, I dropped a lot of F-bombs as I left. Never to go anywhere else but SUNDOWN WINDOWS. Riverside. Just got my Porsche 911 GTS tinted. Yooo! Flawless tinting.You guys rock!!!

They did a fairly good job of explaining that the tint has natural flaws in it. There was an issue of a hair being under the tint on the passenger window and a scratch on the tint on the driver window. Both items were quickly and promptly taking care of. But Ive had better work done in the past and I paid a lot less as well. When you claim to be the best you are held to a higher degree but over all job well done. I will be back

This is a Long overdue Review.I brought my Yukon here back in 2005.They did an excellent Job.Ive recommended a couple people here and they didnt listen.They went to a better place...Than a couple months later their tint changes color.My tint is still as Dark as the day I got it installed and Hasnt bubbled up.Im coming in again this weekend 10 stars!!!!!

Great prices and they do great work without having to wait all day. Plenty of tint shops around but if you want quality tint done by experts in their craft sundown window tint is the best choice.

I bought my Maxima in 2000 and got the tint done that same year. I paid a little extra money to have it done at Sundown because they were considered the best and they were the only one who offered a lifetime warranty for as long as you own your car. Parking the Maxima in my driveway, exposed to the hot Inland sun finally took its toll and the tint started pealing after ten years. Sundown redid the entire car, only asking for the original receipt which I still had. The original tint was great and the warranty service is of the same quality. They are well worth the extra money for their great service and premium professionalism.

I wouldnt even score this company as fair! but its the lowest score i can rate them by far the worst tint job ever i called sundown prior to coming in and told them exactly what year make model of my car and what type of film i was looking for( this was not my first time getting window tinting so i had good information how to shop) the owner who answered the phone assured me that sundown was the best in town and that i would pay $ 200.00 cash no tax which seemed good but know i realized why. i came in got the tinting done and left i seen alot of dot like specs in a 6/7 windows. when asked he Replied its normal that it will go away in a couple days well i waited 8 days and returned it was definately still there. at this time he said my glass has imperfections in it and it had nothing to do with the tinting.B.S. i wish i had paid with my american express so i can have dispurted the charges but since i had paid cash i had no leverage to get my tint redone. i called a few times more and he blew me off. i gave up and went to a shop called auto stereo plus also in riverside. They told me that the specs/dots was due to dust trapped between the film and glass (poor tinting job) they removed the tint and re did it with a brand that i recognized for less then sundown and im so happy no specs in my tint and looks great i would recommed everyone to this place and BEWARE OF SUNDOWN NOT PROFESSIONAL BY ANY MEANS
