Truly a money saver. At times the vegetables are as good as any place else. You will not see any big name items, most are shipped from Mexico but there are some of comparable quality. Look at it as a treasure hunt, it may just be worth your effort !

Great store for the price of things, still cant find the plastic spoons and forks separately.

Went to grab a can of tomato sauce...grabbed two cans of dog food and shoe polish for my white Nikes. The thing is some people dont know of the many food bargains here. Produce, soda, chips and salsa. To name a few. What I always notice are beautiful women. Tonight was no different. Prettiest, thin, face of angel and awesome hair. Loved her voice and demeanor when we briefly spoke. Instantly felt her vibe and values as a mother. Great interaction. Possible single mom at the store with her daughter means no interference from first meeting convo. Maybe another chance meeting at dollar tree. Lol

Very busy during the afternoon hours. I am usually in this store two times a week. The shelves are usually fully stocked during the morning hours.The parking lot could be sketchy at times.

Much of the inventory was empty. The store floors etc looked dirty and they never have enough staff working. Plus you gotta rent a cart for a quarter ( even though you get it back when you return the card to the chain lock)Ridiculous

The manager is the rudest person imaginable. They acted so rude when a cashier called her for help.You called me down here for this? Is what she said in response for her employee asking for help.The man I watched blew his top due to how he was treated by her.This locations manager needs to be investigated for her behavior.

Came here looking for a small item and didnt find it. Usually its not a problem coming to the 99 cents store. But on the other hand we are never on this side of town. But this store was not like the ones we go to. The lady at the register was rude AF. (Excuse my french if you know what AF means) I guess its because of the people that comes in but what they need to know is everyone isnt the same. IDK Im not going to totally bash this store because we did find some nice things in here for the house. But the CS (customer service) sucked dinosaurs testicles and thats being nice.

For a low cost budget option they are okay. Would like to see less cheap foreign made products from China and Mexico but thats where most stuff come from.

It was okay. I came in for a few things, but what bothered me was the cashier. She seemed to not be in her best mood and I felt her negative vibe when I was talking to her. The cashiers name is Trinity. Couldve been her off day, but thats what I experienced.

Its a useful store. But its poor management when the store is busy and there are ONLY 2 registers open and lines are ridiculously long, this happens ALL THE TIME! NOT JUST HOLIDAYS!! Ridiculous enough to put your items down, leave to go to a store, and to pay a little more for an item, just to have the convenience of shorter lines

This the worst customer service ever. While the cashier was ringing me up she stopped to check her text messages then had the nerve to respond to hertext. She made me wait while she went through her phone. To make matters worse she was the manager on duty for the day . Ill rather drive a bit further for Dollar Tree .

Ive become a poor person and supplementing with this store, Im not doing too bad. Apart from the usual things youd expect from a dollar store, they carry some fruits and veggies. As long as you make sure to look pay attention to the expiration dates on perishable items, youll be okay. I cant overstate how much you need to pay attention to expiration dates.

They have so much more items to choose from these days. They carry Nivea skin cream, Dove body wash. They have fruits and vegetables, amongst lots of decor & decorations. Definitely my side chick to Wal-Mart 😆

Absolutely love this store. Affordable eveything. Bc of this store I was able to make xmas happen for my 4 yr old. From groceries to toys to household items and much more. I love this store

60 people in line and 2 registers open. I asked one of the cashier to open couple registers and her response was thats all we haveIs there no Manager or assistant on duty to see this?? Poor management

I went to 99cents store and when you go inside the floor is dirty and if you go at the back its really dirty the freezer are very dirty and flys where on grapes but everything else looks good

Today (11/18/20) there were a lot of boxes piled high of stock which made it impossible to get things behind or go around it. A lot of things were messy. Only 3 cashiers and long lines. Worst of all are the prices. There are things for 6, 8 10, 15 dollars. I dont want those things or I would go somewhere else, like Walmart. I go to the 99 cents store for things that cost 99 cents.

First of all i want to say i appreciate the 99 cent store, and i can always find what i need for a bargain. I always come here when Im working on a project, and yesterday i bought 20 items for $4.99 each. While making my purchase I asked if i can return these items if they dont work for what i need, and i was simply told yes. It was not clarified the return policy of only being able to return 9 items within 9 days. Unfortunately the items i bought did not work, and i brought the items back today. I understand policy, and it was partially my fault for not asking what the policy is, but now Im stuck with $55 worth of merchandise i cant use. The ladies in the front are always great. They immediately recognized me, and called Adam to do my return. Adam had the worst demeanor, and instead of kindly educating me on the policy and explaining how he CAN help me he did the complete opposite. All he did was tell me he is just a company man, shrugged my concerns off, and told me to go to another store to return another 9 items. I work for a large corporation, and the last thing i would ever do is blame the company for poor service by saying Im just a company man. That just told me he could care less, and so does the company. My 2 stars are for the ladies in the front, and the convenience of the 99 cents store, but Adam gave himself 0☆ service.

This is a great 99c store and I shop there a couple times a week. Friends from out of town come here and always say they wish their 99c store was as nice as this. They have great items that are well stocked. The staff is is friendly, courteous and helpful. Because of its popularity it can get busy and the cashiers make their best effort to keep the checkout lines moving. I only gave it 4 stars because consistently the avocados are brown / black after they ripen and have to be discarded. This rotten avocado syndrome started this past year. Is it because they are over refrigerated or frozen? Theyre often ice cold when in the store. Ive been buying avocados all my life, I buy them rock hard and let them ripen on the kitchen counter. Most of the time Im lucky to salvage 1/3 of the fruit from this store, if lucky, and have now stopped gambling on buying avocados here. If not for that Id give this 99c store 5 stars. I hope management has received this complaint from others and can fix this problem to make this the best 99c store possible.

The shopping carts were all stuck I tried 3carts, then told people inside about it they did nothing, I had to follow other people out and wait for them to load their car just to get a cart .I guess the manager wasnt in.you have to put your stuff some where to shop.

I love the prices and my boyfriend and I shop here weekly. Only thing is that it is always busy and crowded. Also it depends on when and what day you shop for a nice cashier. We had one cashier that made us take everything out of the cart and then took at least 2 minutes to slowly put new plastic bags on the hook. I just didnt quite enjoy this shopping experience because of her her attitude and she wasnt friendly. Besides her I do enjoy most employees and the store.

Every thing was okay until one off customer so rude cut in front of me and then someone trying to tell her but she doesnt want to listen until we stop and just let go continue story she is still talking nonsense about she didnt do it wtvr. Until your guard trying to fix the problems but he spoke only one the person who cut in line with us omg ... I hope next time ask for two people what is going on not you listening to old lady who is trying to still a line. Nice clean store

Lots of great deals to be had. Some of the really good stuff can go in a matter of minutes. Restocking often. Helpful staff. Can get very busy.

They lose a star because of the extra long lines leading to an extra long wait.Dont be in a hurry when you get to this store. Its ALWAYS crowded and adding insult to injury, you have to wade your way in past a group of vagrants always waiting to pounce.Its ridiculous.Ive been to this store about 6 times and EVERYTIME I go, theres no shortage of beggars at the entrance.Where I was once empathetic to them, Im now irritated beyond belief.Okay, back to the store.They have just about every convenience item you need at reasonable prices. The aisles are wide and easy to get your basket through.Oh, wait.THEY DONT HAVE ANY BASKETS AVAILABLE!I think this store may have a total of 10 baskets so dont expect to get one or you may have to wait for one.

I stop by this store at least once a week to buy groceries. They always have organic national brands and the price is always lower than any other store. Sometimes you can find really good stuff in the frozen section. The downside is that most of the time the checkout lines are long and also I notice a few times that they run out of hand baskets because some people take them, which is no good at all.

Typical 99.99cent only experience for this time of year (which means bigger crowds from open to close). With the exception of the new it only has to end in .99cent pricing structure to qualify as .99cent only its still the place if youre on a budget and want to feel like youve done Santa a solid as one of his helpers. Christmas items are in abundance including a lot more toys, and so far the store is in good order and well stocked with everyday items and the holiday specialty items.

05/02/20-Walk in headed to the meds section got what I needed but to notice that a security guard was keeping a eye on me, thats fine Maybe he does his job too good.Still fine.So Im in the checkout line and was almost receiving my change i sneeze and cough at the same time, not good right!I apologize to her even though there was a blast shield, gloves, respirator and she glanced at me and I said sorry crono, now that was a mistake and a not so good tasteful joke, and for that I apologize again.Now the big problem comes in my line of sight security he leaned in and looked with a demeaning callus face at me as if he him self was going to reprimanding me right then and there so thats rude, I dont know his name ill just call him the, unidentifiable black guy.He asked me what did I say?He asked me three times, I told him all three times sorry for the bad joke.Well at that point it was best not to get in a confrontation with him, so i walked way like any good person would do.I said dont worry about it Im leaving, so I my grabbed items I paid for and left!Well seventeen feet out the front door he yelled at me and said you are not allowed in this store, and I said ok thats fine, that seemed to agitate him and then he pointed at me repeated his statement again as if I didnt understand the first time but this time he pointed his index finger at me!That right there is public humiliation and a form of assault physically!No confrontation necessary I got in my vehicle and left, well the unidentified black guy decides to walk out in the parking lot in the street with his phone pointed at me as I was driving by, so he got the bird from me, Im sure most people would agree  it was well deserved,unidentifiable black guy is now deliberately escalating a situation that was only started by him, truly!.So I gave him the finger, he was so damn! close to my vehicle I can smell him that how close!I left in order to calm the unidentifiable black guy downSo I left came back 16 minutes later I went in the strip-mall in the most indirect route possible to avoid him I rather be safe then sorry, because I was using the laundromat service literally right next door to the 99 cent store.Well I walked in the laundromat, doing my own thing an LVPD officer approached me asked if we can step out side and have a peaceful conversation and at the same time talking to the officer the unidentifiable black guy was leaning up against washing machines,with a terrible smirk! on his face.Trust me Im super clairvoyant nothing gets past me!Clearly this was personal now, so we all stepped outside, if any person says otherwise they lie, cheat and steal for a living and those kind of people are a liability towards the company there securing, which is asset retrieval but worse is that the security company loses of revenue by one person who is ego tripping, that translates to me hurt feelings.Now! This gets interestingThe first question i asked was for the officer to I.D him self and he did immediately! Without thinking twice.Reason of why?I needed to see what state the officer was in because favoritism might come into play on the behalf of the security guard!So no he did not, the officer was fair and balanced.I asked the unidentifiable black guy for his I.D he promptly shows a security companies logo witch is just a patch on his uniform but he refused to give me his name, so the LVPD officer did a slight hand gesture to the unidentifiable black guy and he left immediately thats fine because thats a nice conversation to try and shift blame for incompetence on his part and if its not that security guard is a liability and quite possibly a racist.The officer issued me a citation but also told me that unidentifiable black guy only has limited Authority but the sidewalks you can come and go just dont go in the store at all, I heeded that.The laundromat is right next to your establishment, I do not want to be assaulted, or harassed, physically or mentally in any way shape or form, or ill file a formal complaint and get an attorney!

I had a great time all of the things were good price but we ran into a karen... My Mom Left Her Cart To Go Get Bread And The Karen Went To Out Cart To Somethings out And when we asked for it back so claimed she didnt take xD Besides that I had a great time.

Great staff, friendly & helpful, even though I am in the store 20 minutes before closing.🤔 LOVE THEIR HUMUS & HAD NONE AT HOME. I cant say that for the overpriced produce that could be fresher, but I dont really have any other complaints about someplace with so many things at such a great price. They are how I can get everything & still make sure that ends meet at my place. 👍⚞➡💱🔚⚟🆒

I been going in this store since it opened and never seen it in a mess and lines are quick enough. With the system of using quarters to get a basket there is always plenty. Only one complaint is the pan handlers need to go away. I believe the answer is left up to the owners of the property and not any of the retailers.

I enjoy being able to browse in there. There are a few things I can buy.

The workers always try to help out as much as possible I have to give it to um on that. But at a time like this organization is needed. Don’t let people come in and buy up all the tissue, water and essentials, there are too many in need

This is a great store. It has a lot of fresh vegetables. I shopped there this morning and got 4 packages of small heirloom potatoes, two large zucchini, six Asian pears, a package of small mixed yellow and red peppers, a cabbage, and a bag of potatoes. The vegetables are cheap and fresh except for the bananas which I buy elsewhere. They sell chocolate bars which are made in France and are soy free.

They updated the store so its a little better has pretty good options. Just plan to spend a good 15-20 minutes trying to check out because they never have more than three registers open, and some of the staff there are rude. Other Han that its not too bad

I had to settle for less than I wanted but got something suitable.

Just got out of this store and I am very unsatified with my experience at the cash register. Very very horrible customer service from SABRINA. (Wears glasses) First didnt greet me or even look me in the eye. I had to be the one to ask how she was doing. Then she answered me with the ugliest attitude. And didnt even care to ask how I was doing. When it came time to pay she just stood there staring into space, instead of asking my form of payment or even advising me what the total was. She needs some extra training on customer service from what i experience. Worst customer service i have experienced.

Very stingy to consistantly have only 2 cashiers on a super busy day. This store is also always out of stock of the dog rawhides with dry chicken wrapped around them . I prefer the 99 Cent store on Decatur, but this one is closest to my house. I give an extra star for the friendly staff.

Actually pretty spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and quick. Good produce selection. Didnt give five stars because you have to have a quarter for a cart. Who carried change anymore!!

Store stink. Its was like something was rotten inside the store. Floors was filthy and dirty. Lines was long and slow.

Terrible.

Don’t waste your time in here. The place is poorly managed and lines are always going out the door and no carts are available to shop. In the middle of a busy shopping period they close lines instead of opening more. This will be my last day shopping in this store. Don’t call, they don’t answer or if they do they hang up. Matt, as of today has been the new store manager for 4 days, let’s see if anything changes.

I used to regularly find new products and deals here but over the last 6 months or so its pretty much the same stuff...except the stuff I used to buy all the time. So they have fewer new items and fewer of the items Im used to buying here. Kinda disappointed.

Convincent. They need better customer service. Check out takes forever not enough registers open. You ask them for more registers they say they will open more but most of the time dont. Its inexpensive but a hassle. Hate shopping there. Improve customer service it would be cool.

First time at this store from the midwest. I liked the variety and prices. Better than most dollar stores Ive seen with a fresh produce section. Prices are varied. Some items are more than 99 cents.
