I couldnt be more pleased with my experience today. I contacted Dawn See this morning with my concern. Dawn was able to get me in this afternoon after I got off work. The timing was perfect. Charlie I may have her name wrong was super nice as well. She did all my testing before I was seen by Dr Vanessa. Dr Vanessa was great as well and she explained everything to me as well as answered all my questions. This is my third time at this location and I will come back again.

Everyone here was wonderful and so helpful every time I have come in. I recently had to get a new pair of glasses after my dog decided to chew them up, and thank goodness I paid for the extra protection plan because it was all covered. The staff did a great job helping me work through this and making it a painless endeavor.

My husband and I had appts yesterday and we were more than happy with the services we received. Eva, Dr McKenzie and Amanda were amazing! Dr McKenzie was very thorough and patient, and she explained everything to us in layman terms. She was very kind, caring and thoughtful! Dr McKenzie went the extra mile, and she discovered something with my husband’s eyes that no other doctors ever mentioned. We are very grateful to her and other staff at LensCrafters for treating us with care and respect! Highly recommend Lansing Mall location and Dr McKenzie!

From the moment Eric greeted me, I new I picked a great place to get new glasses. Eric explained everything he was doing in the pre check in exam. Then Dr. Hernandez showed me photos of my eyes and went into great detail about what she saw. Amanda was Fantastic st finding me not one but pair of sunglasses, making sure I received all of the discounts I was eligible for. Overall is was a fantastic experience, and I will recommend my co workers to visit as well.

I visited LensCrafters 8 months after visiting a different chain because I was experiencing issues with my glasses and eyes. The LensCrafters ophthalmologist was very knowledgeable, took the time to listen and to explain to me, and provided me with a much better experience and outcome. The staff is great and I was able to get an appointment the same day. BUT, I thought LensCrafters had one hour glasses and I found out it will take 7 - 10 days (maybe longer) to get my glasses.My old glasses broke and I can barely drive and working is virtually impossible. I have my computer screen enlarged so much my neighbors can read whats on it. And this is a crucial time for my business because Im expanding. Its a lousy time to find out that one hour really means a week or more.

#lenscrafters #LuxotticaWent to this LensCrafters store on 6/8/2021 to order a new frame and lens, the order was placed in their system. Before I gave final approval of the order, I asked specific questions trying to compare what was in the order with what was covered under my EyeMed vision insurance coverage. I was told by the office staff that they did not have access at their level to the information so they could not answer my questions. I found that acceptable. The person that wrote up my order said he would send an email to his chain-of-command requesting the information I sought. I called the store on 6/14/2021 and spoke the employee that entered my ordered in their system, he advised he had not received a response as of that day. So, on the same day, I called Luxottica customer service, they sent me a complaint form which I completed and filed electronically; the automated response email (from the electronic filing) indicated it might take up to 5 business days for a response but that if I did not receive a response within that time frame, I should send an email to the address indicated in the automated response. Due to no response by the 5th business day and following the directions in the automated response, on 6/23/2021 I sent an email to the indicated email address asking about the status of my complaint; as of 11 pm on 6/24/2021, I have not received a response to my complaint. I would add that on 6/23/2021, I did call the local LensCrafters store (prior to sending the email) and spoke with the employee that entered my order in their system, he acknowledge that the store received my complaint and that he has not received a response to his missive that he sent (on 6/8/2021) to his chain-of-command.Luxotticas non-response leaves me wondering if their primary interest lies in collecting money rather than putting the customer first and providing the best value for the customer. Luxottica also owns Pearle Vision in addition to LensCrafters; I will never do business with either retailer or this company!06/24/2021 at 1146 am: Replying to the owner who posted a response about 19 minutes ago to my review from yesterday (06/23/2021), you obviously did not read my full review, chose to ignore the review, or did not understand the review! I already completed a complaint form over 5 business days ago and also followed Luxotticas instructions for a follow-up email if there was no response to the complaint form. If someone from your location or Luxottica were interested in taking care of the customer, there would have been a response to my complaint or the follow-up email. Why would I waste my time completing another complaint form when there was no response to the initial one or the follow-up email? Unlike your location and Luxottica, there are plenty of other eyeglass retailers that treat the customer with respect and are customer centered. One example of the latter is EyeMart Express (which is located not far from your location), Ive taken my business there. By the way, EyeMart Express has given me more for less cost than what I would have gotten from LensCrafters!

The LensCrafters in the Lansing Mall in Lansing, Michigan always does a fantastic job. Their staff are not only knowledgeable and professional, but personable as well. During my appointment yesterday, the optometrist did an exemplary job of detailing all of the available information and clearly explained what each data point meant in laymans terms. I have an optometrist located 4 miles from my house, but I value LensCrafters enough to drive 25 miles because of my multiple positive experiences there.

The service here was great. I needed new glasses quickly in order to renew my drivers license. The doctor was able to schedule me for the next day. She was professional and did a great job. The tech that makes the glasses wasnt in to make my glasses right away but she made sure that my pair was the done first thing the next day.The customer service representative listened to me and helped me find a great pair of glasses. I told her what I liked and what I was looking for. She was honest about what glasses she thought didnt look good. I told her the price range I was looking for. I was paying out of pocket not with insurance so she helped me with whatever discounts she could offer. She found me a great pair of glasses with me and within my budget.Great experience all around I will definitely recommend them.

They take the time to make sure that you are satisfied with your vision before you leave. I like to wear contacts, but I have both astigmatism and need bifocals so I have to give up either distance or close up. (They dont make contacts that correct both issue.) The Dr was able to make it that I could at least see my phone without having to use bifocals in addition to my contacts.

Recently stopped in to grab a quick pair of sunglasses and look at frames. As soon as I walked in a young woman named Amanda could tell I was lost and immediately came over to help. Explained I scratched up my sunglasses and also needed new frames(glasses)and she helped me pick out some new glasses and frames and even found a pair for my 1.5 year old niece. Great overall experience. Kristin researched my insurance prior to my arrival so I knew what to expect, and was great during the initial tests. Dr. Brown answered all my questions and made the exam easy and comfortable. Robin was fantastic helping me find the perfect frames, and then setting me up with the right lenses without any high pressure, yet provided sufficient information to help me make a good decision. I often put off getting an exam and new glasses because I fear high pressure sales, but my entire experience was beyond my expectations.

We order glass for my Sister told us will be ready within 7-10 days it been more than 3 weeks nothing my sister struggle each day waiting to get her new glass. We had order from other places past years all arrived within 10 days this is 3 weeks!! or at least call us and shouldve inform us on this delay but nothing I have to call them like each week to get update each time they gave me different respond. Exceptional service, some of these reviews are unnecessarily critical. Great, friendly staff, very concerned with providing good service. Broke my glasses case within a week, got a new one for free. Gave me free upgraded lenses for my glasses when I got them, for free, because they figured they fit the frame better. $100 rebate on my contacts too, very unexpected. Entire staff is very helpful, 5 stars.

I have been going to this place last two years for eye exam and bought contact lens every time. They cant even order free contact lens when I ran out of lens. On top of it, the store manager doesnt even have courtesy to listen to customers. She abruptly cut the call. She just lost two customers.

Worst place I have ever bought glasses in 30 years ! Went to pick up my glasses and was told I bought janky glasses after spending over 500 out of my pocket !!! So was told I had to deal with them being crooked on my face !! Every one that wares glasses knows u have to bend them to each person !! But it didnt stop there the female working had a friend with her and decided to belittle me an continue on about how I didnt buy good glasses and I asked her to stop an leave me be as I was waiting for some one who was willing to bend them to fit an she called the security! Never got my glasses fixed to fit and 3 other customers left do to the way that girl treated me and my husband ! Will never use them again for my eye Care !!! There’s no point to making an appointment- my last three visits have taken over an hour, the staff barely seems to care, and you won’t find out about delays unless you call for updates. Exams are thorough, prescriptions seem accurate, but it’s not expedient or friendly enough to skip finding an independent optometrist.

I went in to check out some glasses and ask for help with my sunglasses, which had come loose on one arm. An excellent employee named Ted graciously performed the minor fix on my sunglasses while we tried on other pairs. I ultimately did not purchase today, but I cant say enough about Ted and the rest of the knowledgeable staff at this location. Ill be back!

She went to serve others, and ignore my papers...etc. When I ask to see the supervisor, she said Im the manager here. Soo bad service. I hope she did not lied to me about her name. The communication was terrible. I was told my lenses were ready. They were not cut so I had to wait 2hrs since their tech was at lunch. I couldnt leave the mall because I had to leave my glasses there. I get back to pick up my glasses I discover they have broken them! Snapped the side piece in half and then glued it. The associate didnt even tell me, I had to call him out on it. After some back and forth and him physically shrugging his shoulders at me, he basically said old frames break and I should have bought a new pair when I purchased the lenses. I had to leave with broken glasses and drive home after dark with no glasses because they initially said they were done but then made me wait 2hrs. I ended up speaking with the regional manager and met him at the Okemos store. He corrected the mistake by placing a new order for frames and lenses. It was supposed to be done that day but Im still waiting for a text confirmation. Not very thrilled with any of this.

Outstanding customer service! I have been going to this location for years and my last visit was exceptional. The lady that did my pre-screening was very friendly. The optometrist Tamara is always great to work with. The customer service rep, Shawn, was excellent. They were very busy, but worked hard to get to me in a timely manor. He listened to my needs and allowed me to ask questions and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase and the pricing. Upon receiving my call that my new glasses were ready for pickup, I arrived at the store at 9:25AM. My mistake, the store didnt open until 10:00, but there Shawn was to let me in early and get me on my way. Kuddos to Lenscrafters Lansing Mall!

Every time I call they cant ever give me an actual answer just ask for my phone to call me later and if I dont call back I never get the call. I went into my local lenscrafters with a scheduled appointment for a contact lens fitting. I have been to this location before and am in their file as a patient. I texted twice to confirm my appointment, but received a call the day before the appointment telling me I would need to reschedule because my insurance wouldnt cover a new exam since my last one was less than a year ago. I called back to explain that I would not be getting an eye exam, rather Id just like to be fitted for eye contacts, which is not covered under my insurance anyway. I came in for my appointment 15 minutes early and was told right away that I was given a call to reschedule my appointment, almost like they were rejecting my visit. I explained the situation, that I just wanted to be fitted for contacts, and was told Id need a new eye exam as well because my last one was more than 30 days out. Astonished, I was ready to take my money somewhere else when somebody else came and handed me a form to fill out for first time patients. I looked at the form and saw my name and insurance information, yet I was being told I was not on file. So I filled out the form correctly and waited, explained my situation yet again, and finally 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment start time, I was taken back for a contact lens course. During this course, I was told how to open a sealed contact lens case, and clean it, and then told to sign the form saying I had received the course. Not knowing that that was all the information Id be given regarding how to properly clean and take care of contacts, with no mention of how to fill and clean a case, what to do in case of certain emergencies, how to handle soft vs. hard lenses, how to order new contacts, what to do if I encounter eye irritation or warning signs of infection, I signed the form. Next an eye doctor came into the room and very politely worked with me on how to put in the lenses and take them out, and explained different things I can do to make the process easier. This was the only pleasant experience of my appointment. I was given a lense case that I was told was probably not used before. Upon paying $79 for the contacts course, I went home and googled all of the things that my instructor had neglected to tell me. Luckily my wife, who was with me and wears contacts, filled me in on all of the things I had not been told. Lenscrafters has lost my business, and I will not be recommending anyone to visit this location.

Please, please please don’t go to the one in Lansing Mall. Go anywhere else the one in Meredian mall or even drive an houe to any other branch. The staff in Lansing mall branch treat people bad and they don’t respect anyone. They will mess your benefits and I had to call my insurance to proof that I haven’t bought a glasses.

I wont go to this location again, the Dr. was pleasant, quick and thorough but the people waiting on me as I ordered a new pair of glasses were less than friendly, the one who primarily worked with me was not trained properly and it showed and her coworkers were less than enthusiastic in helping her out (2017)Visit (2019), the staff was much more educated, they were professional and quick and accurate, Lenscrafters needs to buy their workers PCs (using tablets takes too long)
