It was a great relief to go into the store on two different days and get received with the same courtesy and professionalism from the staff I worked with. The first day Sam was very helpful in helping me bring my vision to reality. The next day Linda helped me execute it. Its worth saying that Staples on Michigan Ave is well worth the trip.

I recently began working from home & have been purchasing necessities for my office. I have made a few trips to Staples & their customer service is priceless. Most recently, I needed a vga/hdmi adapter & purchased one. It didnt work so I brought it back. The store manager (or assistant manager) knew right away what needed to be done to fix my problem. BAM! He removed some hardware from my old cord, the adapter worked, & I was on my way. He went out of his way to help. He could have easily told me what needed to be done & left me there to figure things out. Thank you for going the extra mile!

I needed to get a poster printed for a conference ASAP and the print team was, so nice and helped make sure I got it printed in time for my presentation. The girl at the counter was great and funny. Best Staples Ever!

This is my second trip within a week. I ordered things online and picked them up as well as getting items at the store. In a crazy holiday season the staff were tremendous. I will definitely make Staples my number one place to look for items now.

The one hour online pickup mostly works. Purchases that take longer arrive at different times. All of the employees are very helpful and welcoming, but there is always a wait at the online pickup. I think that is because of its location next to the Help desk. It took me several trips to the store to get my complete order.

So I came to the print center to print out work for a project, and they got all the dimensions wrong the first time. This was about 2 o’clock in the afternoon. About half an hour before close (8:30) I come in to see what the hold up is and they completely forgot about my re-prints, and tried to have me pay AGAIN even though over the phone they stated it was their mistake. Not sure about the rest of the store, but if you got prints go somewhere else. They are cheap but it’s definitely not worth the hassle.

My employer has a an account that prepays for printing orders made. We ran into an issue with payment on my last order. But with what little information I had they were able to find everything they needed and get the job paid for without anything coming out of my pocket. Very professional group here.

This is a great supply store Im able to get in and out easily all the time. The print shop staff is particularly skilled and helpful plus, the prices are SO right in comparison to a few of the boutique print shops around town.And I want to write something here to a few of the other reviewers after having worked in IT for years: Its not the repairman teams fault that YOU broke YOUR computer. I just felt like making that VERY clear.

Staples is getting a little threadbare and faded. What is the point of a storefront anymore? In the old days physical office supplies needed to be picked up at a physical location. But with the internet, and Amazon, if you need something for your business, its easiest to pick it out, click on it, and wait for it to be delivered to your door.Staples, and the other office supply chains, still carry all the old supplies stuff, but they dont make much money at them. Some more and more they concentrate their square footage on high profit low volume gimcracks: office toys, color cartridges for inkjet printers, overpriced chairs.In the old days, you can go to Staples and find real experts. But now, theres literally no one in the store who knows what a #12 envelope is. Oh theres a an aisle of envelopes, but they dont know the difference between a #10 or a #7 or a #12, or the situation that calls for each. They dont know much about writing implements, or file cabinets, or the fine points of repairing a laser printer. Theyre just the dying hulk of an old industry. I enjoy shopping there, but its mostly nostalgia.

They fixed my computer. They saved some data but also lost some really important stuff. And they lost a lot of programs that it will cost me money to replace. They said they would save all that stuff.Im looking at small claims court.

I bought a lap top and the sales man sold me an extended factory warranty. Ripped off is what I feel like, the thing is the laptop was not dropped, a screw fell out and it fell apart, they do not honor their warranty or their product. I will never buy another computer from Staples, I have a Toshiba lap top that I bought at Best Buy and it is 5 years old, with no problems, my sons laptop is not even 2 years and has had numerous problems over and over again. Now it just fell apart because a screw fell out. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE, AND THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR OWN WARRANTIES.

I go to Staples quite often, so I receive discounts off my receipts. I also turn in my empty printer cartridges and receive $2 each in return for these for use in the store. They take a total of 10 cartridges per month. I was disappointed when I bought new cartridges, and I could only use one coupon towards the cartridges. I had a $10 off a $20 purchase, plus I had a $20 off because of turning in 10 cartridges. Even though the coupons were completely different, I was only allowed to use one at a time. Since I was so disgusted, I handed the $10 off coupon to the woman behind me and said that I would get some cartridges from Sams, because they are on sale there. I dont care if I have to pay more at Sams.

Stephenie that works in the printing department is very rude and extremely slow at her job! One day around 1 pm I dropped off 2 booklets about 40 pages each to have them bonded. She had them done by 9 pm!!!!! I understand that she may have had other peoples projects to work on but that was ridiculous! She done that to me the first I patronized the place. Fed Ex usually take 3 minutes to do them!!!

They got me right in with a job I needed AND were so helpful! I’m very glad I found this store!

The service I received from this Staples has been good in the past. I have been a loyal customer with a Staples account. However, the service that I have experienced lately has been very poor. I have used this Staples located on Michigan Ave in Lansing. MI for four years. The manager and other staff have given poor service from a ten dollar fee for a one page fax, to the disappointment of the service request ordered but not filled for my mothers 80th birthday celebration. I will not use this Staples again. The nearest office supply is across town, but Ill use it instead.

You know I really despise rebates..... I do not know why they just do not lower the prices and skip the need to fill out rebate forms other than the fact that most people never cash in on them and so their company gets the privilege of advertising that they sell the stuff cheap when they mostly do not get to provide anything for the stupid rebate cards they are supposed to send you... I never see those rebate cards because my employees throw them out thinking that it is just advertising and has no actual value...

My mother just spoke to a customer service person at the East Michigan Ave store . Her name is Denisha and she was excellent. My mother voiced complaint and Denisha immediately took some positive action by saying she personally would check for correct type of product that was needed to exchange and she would save for her. I would like to clue some of the workers at Staples remember that most people are not as versed in technical information on the products sold at Staples. I would encourage the sales people to try and assist customers as much as possible even if it seems like people should have enough sense to know what they are paying for. It will affect the bottom line which is profit and maybe end results could be a raise.

I found the staff very helpful in locating materials I was hunting for. When stock was empty up front they checked and found some in the back for me.

My fiancé and I had our wedding invitations printed here. All we really needed was for them to print our invitations on card stock, and we said we would do the cutting ourselves. They suggested we use their invitation template which caused a ton of confusion on their part, even though we brought a sample of our invitations. We picked up our order the next day and they printed four per page, which threw off our dimensions completely. I took the order back the next day to have them reprinted. They came out beautifully! However, they printed half the quantity that we needed and PAID for. I am still waiting to see what the resolution will be.

My friend got a ok deal on a shredder but i looked for a bag for a 17inch laptop snd they wanted 70 bucks😢

I have visited this store frequently together with some of my friends. I like the staff worked there. They were patient and friendly. There are two mangers in this store . One of them is nice too, but anther one really pissed me off. He was over-cautious that he treated all the Chinese customs like thieves or suspicious person. Talking to him was like talking to a serious judge! The way he treated me made me think I was not welcomed at all!I would say, everything in this store is nice except this weird manger.
