I was amazed by their service without charging me a dime where most shop will charge you just to check a minimum problem with the car.The lady of the front desk came out and help me for “Free” and offered such a greAt deal whether I need to replace the radiator.Since now on I’ll be checking on them whatever problem comes up to my car.Thank you so much

I dropped my car off in the morning after calling to ask if they had availability. My drivers side heat was not working properly. Within 30 hours my car was ready to be picked back up and it cost way less than I was expecting! Great place, great value.

They tried to scam. Honestly, becareful coming here. They will do whatever it is necessary to up the price. Also if you drop your car, dont expect an inspection any time soon, these mechanics over book and dont know what they are doing. No wonder the business is so small. They can barely keep up. Our car is not working properly. We took it back because we have a year warranty. We was told it was a head gasket it isnt their fault and they wont do no more work on our vehicle. We got played‼️

I been going to pat for 8 yrs and he did the most incomplete job. I gave him 2000 in cash and he had my car for 2 weeks. I went to him for my shocks and air conditioner now my car is low in the back still. He then tells me that after driving it for a while it’ll pop back up. I ask why he didn’t fix that he said the part is expensive and he didn’t know if I’ll want to pay for after I gave him 2k! Furthermore he said parked my car in the back of the shop bc a bum was looking at it like he was gonna steal it. He straight cap black own mechanics for now on ✊🏾!

I was referred by a mutual friend, unfortunately I cannot comment on the actual work of this business, I never even got that far. Pat is the most unprofessional person Ive ever encountered in my life. I pulled in after speaking with him on the phone earlier in the day (and previously the week before). He told me to drop my vehicle off before 6pm. When I pulled in he literally came out full force shaking his head making offhanded remarks at and towards me. He was the rudest, nastiest, most snide excuse of a man Ive ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I have never been treated more disrespectfully. I have absolutely no idea how anyone could run a business with such an obnoxious attitude. I dont care how knowledgeable he might be, I wouldnt recommend ever having to encounter such an intolerable human.

I took my 2009 ss impala here needing a second opinion about a possible coolant leak. The other shop I had my car at found the issue but added on things that did not even need repairing. Lansing radiator verified the issue let me know a price and fixed it for a third of the price the other shop was going to charge me. I got updates on the progress and a estimated time the repair would be done. They were great efficient and professional. As long as they are able to fix any issue my car may have I will be going back. Thank you again!!

This place actually investigates the issue and is not just a part changer like so many others. Remember my dad taking his car to him when i was just a kid. Awesome cooling and A/C shop.

Fair price fast service

Best prices on radiators in the Lansing area. When they ordered my radiator it was there the next day for me to pick up. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

This shop did great by me. Long story short, they did an inspection/testing of my coolant system, topped up the fluids and wouldnt take any payment since they determined that no work was necessary. Time isnt cheap, yet these folks didnt charge a penny for theirs, even though I brought it in saying that I thought Id need my radiator replaced. A good, honest mechanic is hard to find and these folks seemed very nice, honest and are also the epitome of local business (even better).Full story: My car ran hot on the way to work and I later realized it was due to low coolant. I called them up to see if they could look at the car that afternoon and if they could give me a quote in the case of a radiator replacement. The car has 133k miles so it isnt out of the question. They said they could do it that same day and gave me a very reasonable quote (granted I have a pretty generic car, no BMW/Aston Martin). I dropped it off at their shop in the late morning and got a call a few hours later from the owner of the shop saying that they had run multiple diagnostic tests (I listed a couple since Id done some research on the potential problems that afternoon) and they couldnt find any problems or leaks. He said they had topped off the radiator itself and could do the replacement if I wanted but otherwise theyd drain the coolant overflow reservoir a bit (I had over-filled it, being over-cautious before driving over to the shop), top up the coolant in the radiator and clean things off. I went in to get my car and asked what I owed and they said nothing - they didnt need to do any work so n payment was needed.I only wish there were some way to give them some business now but Ill definitely be back if/when I need work done. In the meantime all I can do is give them a great review because in my mind they deserve it. Keep up the good work!

Needed a radiator for a 98 dodge Durango. Called a few places that were recommended. Lansing radiator offered the best prices. By far! Pat was very accommodating and met me before opening, so awesome, and gave me a quote and I went to work. He called to tell me the car was ready and even fixed a minor problem at no charge. When I got there he presented a bill that was less than the estimate. That never happens. ever! It was only a few dollars but that all adds up with an older vehicle. Bottom line, highly recommended. Great price, friendly staff.

I came here for an A/C repair after having the system repaired at another shop 2 months earlier, and so I was very anxious about the cost since I figured it was the same issue. Turned out it was just a blown fuse! Me and my (elderly) vehicle were very well taken care of and I am extremely thankful that I brought my car here. I cant recommend or thank them enough! The next time I need a repair I will be coming here.

For $40 bucks they flushed my radiator and actually put the correct fluid type in my 2001 Chevy Impala. They even got me a new radiator cap for no extra charge. Having a flush done completely right is well worth $40 in my case.

Located on Larch Street near the intersection of Saginaw in Lansing. No appointments are taken as it is a first-come-first-serve basis. Spoke with a gentleman named Pat dropping my car off for a power steering leak. Later in the day I was called told what my problem was and how much it would cost to repair.The following morning after the part came in I was called and it was installed. The estimate of repair was spot-on and the timeliness in the repair was fast.I will now be doing all my auto repairs here. Thank you Lansing radiator.

Pat is the Best in the City for sure. He is fair with respect to price, he always treats me well. I was referred by one of my friends who called him Best in the City and now I know why and I will always go to Pat. He does great work and I never have problems with vehicles he fixes. Most mechanics in Lansing rip you off but not Pat. He is definitely The Best in the City. Visit him and you wont be disappointed!

HONEST 🚘 Family owned🔧My car was overheating and I live an hour and a half away from Lansing. My daughters local mechanic (Badgleys Garage - see my 5☆ review of them) was short handed and was unable to work on it. He sent me over to his friends place (LRR). Upon making it there, I was greeted by the sweetest girl, who promptly came out and waited on me, even though they were busy. I mentioned how I was upset and worried as I needed to leave in the morning to head back home to work and thought the worst $$ of course. After handing her my keys she immediately started checking out my car and assured me she would call asap with estimate. After an Uber back to daughters to wait for the bad news, it was maybe an hour later and she called. She said all it needed was for the radiator fins to be blown out from all the debris, ready to go and $30. I was so ecstatic, I got tears 🥺. Honest, Christian people 🙏 thank you Lansing Radiator ❤

Pat and his crew have always been very fair and got the work done as quickly as possible on any automobile repair work that they have done for me and they have done a lot for me.....

I was totally disappointed, I paid and took in MY vehicle in for repairs to fix the airbag and the drivers seat replaced. When it was finally done after having my car for week their tecs still cracked the panel to remove the old seat belt and installed it all twisted and the airbag wont go off. Both of which the owner refuses to fix. The seat belt and the airbag are useless. This the kind of service you can expect to get if you take your care here. back. I dont recommend this shop. They damaged car, but claim it was done like that before (wrong) take photos better yet go somewhere else.

My radiator in my 1982 Datsun 720 diesel mini truck fell off when I hit a pot hole and it got ripped to shreds by the cooling fan on the engine .I looked all over for a replacement but I found that they no longer make radiators to fit datsun diesels so I knew pat will rebuild and repair any antique radiator that is brass or copper so I took it to him and he replaced all off the fins and tubes and cleaned resoldered the brackets on it for only $300 so now my radiators like new and worth $600 as a rare part.This is a very hard to find type of service elsewhere in the world and we are lucky to have one nearby because he is a tourist attraction to Lansing.

They do good work honestly and at a decent rate. Replacing my radiator was half what the dealer quoted and was completed that day.
