Terrible customer service. Purchased a used 2021 vehicle, sales rep lied to me about being able to get free oil changes, and then negated and denied they said that. Also discovered slow leak in tire after driving, only to discover it has been poorly patched. Claimed they can do nothing for me.Find another dealership.

Attention anybody looking to purchase a vehicle, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to Main St., Chrysler Dodge and Jeep in Lansing KansasPutting the word out there! I purchased a used Jeep Wrangler Rubicon on April 24,2021. I have had the vehicle in my possession for 21 total days! The rest of the time the jeep has been at their shop getting repairs that should have been done before they sold it to me! They tried to cover up the stored check engine light code and cleared it two times claiming it was no big deal.  (a motor is a big deal) they did replace the motor after a continual fight that took approximately 70 days, meantime I am making payments on a vehicle that they have sitting in their shop.  there is so much more to the story and I have paperwork to show for it which I do not mind posting here if anybody is interested. After having at home for one week I decided to take the tires off and replace them only to find both front and rear axles have severe leaks. Of course I took it right back because it came with a 30 day warranty but it has now been over three months that I have on the vehicle but don’t forget I’ve only had it in my possession a total of two weeks before finding these leaks. I would expect main street to uphold their end of the bargain and give me the 30 day 100% parts and 100% labor warranty they gave me at the time of the sale since I have not had it for 30 days if that makes sense. I have since had to obtain an attorney because this jeep may be beautiful but it sure is a lemon!  I have spoke with the general manager through this process which has continually given me the runaround, and not on his accord but my own by driving down there. I spoke again with him today he was very short and rude and tried to put words in my mouth like he tried to buy the vehicle back from me before which is another lie because after him having it for the first 30 days I went straight to his office and begged him to buy it back from us as I could already see this vehicle was not inspected properly and sold to me as a safe vehicle which is not the case! Gary Williams  allowed his company to sell me a lemon and is not willing to make things right!  this is just my opinion take it or leave it, good luck!

I have purchased a few vehicles from Speedway/MainStreet. This review is from my last purchase in June 2021.I have worked with Kyle Jonsson before and was happy to work with him again. Kyle doesnt treat you like a number or just a customer. He will treat you like a friend. Even after you have purchased a vehicle and left the lot. He showed us the vehicles that were in our price range and went over the Pros and Cons of each vehicle. He brought the final contenders up for a test drive and after each drive he checked with us to see if that car was the one that checked the boxes. He doesnt try to pressure you into making a decision that day. If you dont find the car you want, then he will let you know if something comes in later down the line that fits your criteria. He has no issue stay late after closing to finish up the paper work for the purchase. Probably the best Car Salesman I have came across. There is a lot more positive I can say about Kyle, but this review is about the Dealership as a whole vs just the salesman.The entire dealership is fairly quiet. There is actually a bit of a calm atmosphere which isnt often found in a dealership. Everything is pretty spaced out so you dont feel cramped or crowded. I have not once came into the dealership and not seen the staff smiling and greeting people politely. Car buying is almost always a stressful situation but it is definitely less rushed and stressful here.

My brother, K.C. our mom and I to MainStreet Chrysler Dodge Jeep to buy a used Nissan Rogue with less than 21,500 miles on it.The manager had a large digital desk cover that was used by my mom and since our mom lives in Missouri state for many, many years now the Dealership installed a front license plate holder to her Nissan Rogue and that was helpful for her to install both license plates when she registers her Nissan Rogue in less than 30 days from today.As is the case with most of the other companies that Ive registered, I didnt take any photos of this Store when we were there, however if youre interested in buying a new/used vehicle this Dealership is a great Store for your business in the future.If anyone is interested in contacting me in the future, please do.

We bought a new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Vegas was very easy to work with and went above and beyond for us. The Fiance Manager, Michael, was also great to work with. We werent rushed and felt no pressure. Vegas and Michael were both very easy-going and kind. We ended up not purchasing our van from Main Street only because I found one at a different dealership that better suited our needs at the time. However, I communicated through email several times with Emily about a specific vehicle on the lot and she was great! Very professional, answered every question I had, not pushy at all, and stayed in contact with me through the two week process of me searching and researching cars. Emily was very kind and made me feel like she wanted to help me get what I needed for my family. Will definitely be looking at Main Street when we need our next vehicle!

If I could give zero stars for this I would. I have been buying cars for over 30 years, and have never been treated so badly by a dealership. This dealership is horrible and lacks integrity. We set up an appointment to test drive a vehicle. The salesman called to see if we could come in earlier because someone else wanted to test drive the vehicle at around the time we had agreed upon. He confirmed that the vehicle was in stock and would be ready for us to test drive when we got there. We agreed to come in two hours earlier than we had first agreed upon. When we arrived, the used car salesman said we would have to wait because they were letting someone who stopped by five minutes earlier, without an appointment, test drive it. We waited and waited and finally got to drive the vehicle. We came back and told him we would take it. The used car salesman had us take a seat, asked if we were financing and said to wait, and went to talk to the manager. After an hour of waiting, we were told that we had been waiting this whole time because they had been waiting to see if the first driver could get approval to buy the vehicle. The used car salesman told us it was first come, first served (he left this information out when he made the appointment). He pointed to a couple, laughed, and told us to be glad we weren’t them because they drove five hours to test drive a car (we drove over an hour). It was pretty apparent the salesman thought it was no big deal for us to drive over an hour. I asked to speak to the manager who basically told me it wasn’t his problem. That appointments don’t matter. He was extremely rude! There are tons of other dealerships to buy from. Please go to this dealer if you don’t mind waiting hours and hours only to find out they sold the car out from under you.

Ive bought several vehicles from Speedway and Conklin Fangman in KC. Both dealers were bought by Main Street. The most recent purchase was a 2020 RAM 1500 in January 2020. Last fall, I received a letter from Lansing advertising 3/4 ton trucks up to $12000 off MSRP and an extra $5000 over KBB value for my trade. I figured just another gimmick, but called Lansing just to see. I dont remember the salesmans name, but he apparently was assigned to me as I received a birthday letter with his name on it. He took my info and was going to check and see what offers were available and get back to me. Thats the last I heard from him. I wasnt real impressed with Speedway, but Conklin was a great dealership to deal with. My first experience with Main Street has me looking for a new dealership to deal with for future purchases.Update: Main Street contacted me and apologized for the lack of communication. The sales manager contacted me directly and we discussed what happened. I appreciate the contact and follow up. I increased my review to 4 stars for their efforts. If I decide to pursue another vehicle, Ill give them another chance and see how they do.

I started emailing Robbie Thomas two weeks before purchasing my Jeep Cherokee. He kept in contact throughout the two weeks and didnt push me at all to come in or submit a credit application until I said I wanted to. I told him exactly the options I wanted and the model I was interested in. He said when youre ready to test drive come on in. I was part of the Jetta TDI Buyback so I had to wait until my final appointment was complete to ensure my loan would be paid off in full. The day I turned my Jetta over I met with Robbie, test drove the Jeep and was talking numbers within the hour. I told him my price point and desired interest rate he hit it dead on without haggle. I even asked him to try and get it lower and he did. Other dealerships told me my credit was 639 but that didnt seem right to me so I pulled it myself. I was seeing 671. Robbie said actually youre at 691 from the score we see. I was happy to hear it got even better. Sales tax is cheaper here by 2% than Kansas City. Dealership admin fee is $299 which is reasonable compared to the others. I would definitely recommend this dealership. I was in and out within two hours. No issues with paperwork. The finance guy actually was able to lower my APR by 1% to work in my extended warranty. I was out the door with a brand new 17 Jeep Cherokee High Altitude 4x4 3.2L V6 at $32k (sticker was $29,714).

On 06/13/20, I called Mike to schedule an appointment to see a Jeep Wrangler. I was told there was a lot of interest in the vehicle. I arrived 30 minutes early from out of town (45 minutes away) and was told another couple was possibly buying the Jeep. After speaking with another sales man and telling him we were very interested in buying the Jeep, he told us to go grab lunch or hang out in the area and they would call us to tell us if that sale was finalized or not. After waiting an hour, I wanted to go back to make sure I hadnt missed something.When I arrived back at the dealership, I again called before entering the building (covid-19 stuff). A saleswoman told me to come in and that the Jeep was still available. When I walked in I saw Mike, the person I was supposed to meet with, chatting with another family. He stands up and says I tried calling you and I left you a voicemail. I check my phone and I had no missed calls and no voicemails. Mike says, they (the family he was speaking) want the vehicle. I tell Mike I didnt get a phone call or voice mail. Another sales person asks us to take a seat in the waiting area. We sit down and I check my phone again and now I had a voice mail showing but again NO missed calls. I received the voicemail approximately 7 minutes before I arrived back at the dealership and called.Mike comes over to my wife and I in the waiting area and stated he was sorry but he couldnt tell the other family no because they were Mexican and thought they would think they werent getting the Jeep because they were Mexican. He could have easily explained to that family that my wife and I had already been there an hour earlier and expressed interest and were next in line, or even told me sorry but you werent here and we didnt hear back fast enough... I would have been more understanding. But MIKE told me he was going to work with the other family because HE was afraid to tell them no because HE thought they would blame him for not doing business with them because they were Mexican.....I will never do business with them.The other salespeople I spoke with were respectful.

Had an appointment set up, had a few other dealerships to go to before I drove an hour away to this place, found the vehicle I wanted for less money with more features at another dealership and got it, emailed the guy I was in contact with to cancel my appointment and he replied with oh no Ive been cleaning the car you were looking at for the last hour, then without reply from me he replied with I could have been selling a car to one of the customers here. I only get paid if I sell a car. Im so glad I didnt waste my time with this place and found what I was looking for at a dealer that at least acts like they care about me. The guy I was dealing with was Mike Wingard. Hopefully if any poor soul actually goes here they dont have to deal with him.

I went in to the parts store for wiper blades and they offered to put them on for me. I am glad that they did, because it was 19 degrees outside and they are a challenge to put on. The parts guy was very quick in putting them on. I would have frozen trying to put them on myself. The price for the wiper blades was reasonable. The new wiper blades are a great improvement. I always get 5 star service from Speedway.

The sales rep was friendly and easy to talk to. But really lacked product knowledge of the new car line he represented. The rep was not knowledgeable about the inventory at the dealership and while the dealership is well stocked, it isnt a large inventory.The showroom and sales floor of the dealership has a very dated feel to it and wasnt very clean. None of this would have kept us from buying a car there if we had found a vehicle we really liked.

Horrible service. Took my van in for a scheduled recall. Took 2 days. When I went to pick it up, I noticed a noise it had never made before they had it. Left for another two days with no communication about what was found or being done.Then when I came to pick it up they charged me for an alignment that was never asked for nor discussed to be done.The icing on the cake was when I was at work telling my coworkers about my experience I had a lady listening in and she had a similar experience only two weeks earlier.Scamming customers to fill their pockets! Wont go back there again. Ill drive to a dealer that is honest about their work and has some integrity. ZERO stars if I could

We hadnt really planned on purchasing a vehicle the night we went to Speedway Chrysler Dodge Jeep, we were only there to research and test drive the Dodge Journey to make sure it was the vehicle that we wanted. We arrived close to closing time and Mark greeted us in the parking lot, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. After looking through their tremendous inventory and test driving the Journey we decided to go through with purchasing a car right then. My parents have taken the car that I am buying from them to speedway to have the heat, the gear shifter and multiple other issues fixed. The heater was blowing out nothing but freezing cold air and when you try to get the car into drive it dies. Well speedway said they fixed it but in reality they have not because when I try to put the car into reverse, the car dies so therefore I have to put the car back in park, shut it off and try again. Also in order to defog my windshield I have to have the back passenger heater on in order to get any warmth. The defroster is nothing but cold air as well as the face and feet. This has happened multiple times and still facing the same issue even after spending quite a bit of money to have it fixed when it really hasnt been fixed. I am not happy and neither are my parents

The eco dodge ram, in my opinion is not a good vehicle. But my review is not about that. It is about the service, the salesperson, said I will sell your other car for you, I said sure, a year later, after I agreed on the price he had sold it for I sent a title he said he never got it, but it was tracked to his mail box. I was asked to get another. He sent 100 for the trouble of doing it again. When I text him I wanted half down and half after, I send it out, he blew up and now I must get it towed. I called the dealer ship and they did nothing, even after an officer told me to contact them. Beware, and good luck!!

Professional staff that offered a fair deal. Unfortunately, not quite as good as we had hoped so we werent able to come to a deal. Be sure to ask about their administrative fees up front so you dont get unpleasantly surprised when you sit down with the financial manager. The factory warranties they offer with some of their vehicles are great, but even though they are free, the management was much less willing to deal then other dealerships we worked with by offering considerably less for our trade and kept coming back to the warranty as worth the extra cost. Overall a good experience and our salesman was very nice and professional, just not as good of value as we had hoped for. However, I would suggest you give them a try as they have a good selection of nice vehicles at reasonable prices.***Edit / Update*** The dealership called back the following day and gave us an offer that we decided to take. The paperwork was all done ahead of time and was fast, easy and professional. I would have upped the star rating to four stars, but there was one hiccup that really frustrated me. We had made a point to ask and had been told there were two keys that would come with the vehicle. After we had done all the paperwork, signed over our trade in title and had written the check, we were informed there was only one key. At that point I realized there was no point in arguing and they didnt offer a replacement. Just a shrug and a quick sorry. I havent priced them, but I am guessing it will cost at least $200 to get another key and have it programmed. A little thing that somewhat soured an otherwise acceptable business transaction.

Went looking for a Jeep Wrangler and found a pretty clean one at Speedway. I was excited enough they knew I wanted that jeep badly. Service was good, all nice people and the vehicle price was acceptable. One thing I found out a few days later though rubbed me the wrong way...The one downside is that they quoted me throughout the entire negotiation process (if you can even call it that) with an inflated amount which once all was said and done included a $2000 extended warranty. Being as excited as I was, I stupidly didnt inquire further or read the tons of agreement forms. Near the end they proceeded to then ask if Id like one of two extended warranties. I agreed to the higher mileage one and was excited to hear it only added a few dollars to the monthly payment. Little did I know they had quoted me the whole time while including the cost of the lesser but still pricey warranty - which was surely around 1750 itself.With that said, it was my own fault for not reading all the details. Also - as funny as this sounds - Ive come to terms with this and think it was still a good investment despite the sneaky manipulation that went on. Id buy from them again but would be much more aware of things.

Speedway Chrysler Dodge Jeep has amazing sales & service personnel...I know whos better - Troy, Mark or Cathy.....they are all wonderful and were so informative & detailed when I last went in to test drive a couple cars. These guys make it too easy to buy a car. They gave me a fair price on my trade, an excellent price on my purchase as well as a better rate on financing than I had previously set up. I drove over 100 miles to see the car I wanted. It was worth every mile. Your usual car salesmen games werent present. I went in expecting a battle but need not have worried. I was pleasantly surprised by their fist offer and took the second. It wasnt even hard. OK, I cant think of anymore good words to say. I know that next time my family or I need to buy a vehicle, Speedway is the first and probably the only stop Ill make.

I love the 2018 Jeep Compass and knew exactly what features I wanted on it. Our salesperson, Brett, went out of his way to get me what I wanted. When he saw that it was going to take a few days to get my car delivered, he arranged a loaner for me to drive since my car had been totaled in an accident. After we purchased the Jeep, Brett spent the afternoon sitting in the car with us explaining how to use all the new features. Brett is a top notch salesperson and just an all-around good guy! We’d highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy a car.

I got my car back in 2017. I have a 2013 Chrysler 200. Now that I work at a dealership, I now see that I was screwed over by Speedway. The only plus is that I have a good relationship with Chrysler Capital and got me into a newer car. I DO NOT RECCOMEND this dealership unless you want to get screwed over!

Was told they needed to run my credit to get the numbers close as possible. I asked if it was a soft hit. I was told it was a super soft hit. They came back with very vague numbers and told me it was the worse case scenario. I asked why they ran my credit then for the closest numbers? When I got home my credit had a hard hit on it. So much for super soft. I would not send my worst enemy to this dealership and I will drive into Kansas City if I need anything from now on.

Hi. I visited your dealership with my husband on Saturday to look at a Renegade Latitude 4x4 that was priced on the internet at 20,046. We were ready to buy and given your selection of new 2019 models, probably would have bought one from Speedway — if it weren’t for the obnoxious behavior of your salesperson.After the test drive, we sat down to discuss price. My husband really liked the vehicle a lot and wanted to purchase it. We were very clear about the price we wanted and it was just a few hundred less than what was advertised on the internet. But according to your salesperson, the price advertised on the internet did not apply for us — we apparently did not qualify for some of the special rebates, which the salesperson handled by pointing out the disclaimer. Instead of asking us about our needs and trying to find a vehicle that would fit them and would also be in our price range, the salesperson very condescendingly said, “Well. I can work the numbers on a lesser vehicle, if that’s what you want.”I’m sure you are aware of the following, but I’ll say it anyway: Most people don’t care about a disclaimer and will be offended when the internet price turns out to not be the REAL price of the vehicle. We were still open to buying another Renegade, IF he had tried a little harder by asking us about what we really needed — for example, we were perfectly happy to move to a 4x2 as we don’t need the 4WD and it just cuts into the fuel economy. That would have gotten us into the price range where we wanted to be. Instead, he chose to be patronizing by referencing that we could look at a “lesser vehicle” (as lesser customers, I suppose?). Perhaps it was being called “kiddo” that really irritated me (I’m almost 50). But in any case, we left, promptly went to Victory and happily purchased the exact same vehicle, minus the 4WD — from their salespeople who appeared to actually *want* to work with us and find the right vehicle for our needs.I’d suggest that some training might be in order for your salesperson, as he lost your dealership a sale on Saturday morning.

A little over a month ago I took my dodge in to replace engine mounts. This is the 3rd set of engine mounts within 5 yrs including a set about a year ago that was just put in. Ok so speedway rep says my breaks a ready to be changed soon, and like two other things will soon be going out soon. Grand total over a thousand bucks in repairs. I spoke with my mechanic about how expensive it was so he ordered the parts and made those 2 repairs for $300 he said it literally only took him 1-2 hours to fix it all. So yesterday my husband goes to change the breaks to find out they are practically brand new from when he installed them back in last November. I’m putting this out there to warn you all that speedway dodge are not honest. I will never do any business with these people another day in my life!

My 2016 Freedom Wrangler was totaled due to a stolen truck while my jeep was parked. I had looked all over for what I wanted for my next Jeep. My last Jeep I decided to buy without help and I was rung through the ringer by a well known dealership in the Kc area. I trade every 3 years, so I thought I needed to do the negotiating on my own ( wrong)! It was bad juju to begin with. Jacob, bless his heart was in for it from the beginning. I was ready to be taken for the female ride. I was determined. Jacob was kind and kept conversation flowing even though I was ready this time. I did not have any of the hassles that I have been encountered buy others with by him. He was personable, straight, and understanding. He had won my trust.
