Lines werent too bad. I was able to find everything I needed for my trip.

What to say not to offend anybody?From all cashiers over there, only two were manned and at one Ive got I close answer when I got there.Kinda empty shelves and when I asked if is possible to get more ASDA ribeye steaks as on site were only 3 pck thecanswer was thats all without even check.At least they have the online version where you can get exact location of what you look for as the employies overthere dont have a clue. Im not from that department was the answer.Guys, is Walmart or some secret facility?And I was generous with stars.

Seems trend is for employees to no longer want to do a good job and be courteous to customers. Walmarts Customer Service worker was extremely rude. The worker was already agitated before me; bad attitude. She shorted me $10 on my return, and it was a gift card, not the refund I should have gotten. I kept having to explain I dont have a receipt; it was online purchase. She couldnt figure out how to access my order. She also sent me to the side for a very long time before calling for help. She made sarcastic remarks and was impatient. I would have just left if it werent for the fact I was shortchanged. Come to find out, after another worker finally came to help out, she had made an error on the receipt. 45 minutes for simple return. No apology from her. There was no front-end manager to report it to. I rarely complain in reviews, but I needed to let others know to beware.

It was great going in early before the shopping rush... Whenever it came time to check out you had to wait 30 minutes before you even got to the checker counter it seems that if you have 21 Lanes and you only have four open plus your self checkout thats not really good to me so you all have a great day

For a Walmart, this one is clean, the employees actually kinda want to help (i mean, they at least pretend really well), and its all organized pretty well. Location is prime too. Right next to a lot of stuff and the casinos, which works out great in a pinch!

Christmas ornaments and decor are set out already.they are still stocking up on landscaping mulch and necessities in the garden dept.

I lost my car keys inside, and of course it’s a small town, not to many people are inside. After I. Thoroughly looked for my keys after retracing my steps a couple of times every staff member that I ask have they been given keys or have they heard anything or seen my keys by any chance after describing it to them I constantly got told to go find the next staff maybe they know. Nobody even paid me no mind. Of course it has NOTHING to do with the Walmart company it’self but the STAFF! No. No generosity no courtesy to even attempt to help in any type of way at all just verbally saying find the next staff. Another customer in the store ended up returning my keys to me.

This is my home town walmarts they pretty good unless its them times when you have to have a card only to pay

I will say this store has plenty of stockers which is a plus, never seen so many employees working together and getting it done! My only issue is the smell on the entire grocery side, not pleasant. Other than that, its not a bad store.

Great place to shop but people dont like to wear their masks and their self checkout only does cards. So if you have cash there is usually only one register open.

Honestly I rarely shop at Walmart stores anymore and this recent visit reaffirmed as to why. The whole store doesn’t seem to run very smoothly at all- and with the lack of employees to keep things going, I can see why. I saw employees but very few- and as someone who worked in retail in the past, it was a sad sight to see one girl struggling to meet the demands of five people fighting for her attention at once without any help. Talk about a nightmare…The bathrooms were abysmal to say the least. It didn’t seem like much attention was given to them that day. And you’d think there’d be a sense of urgency to keep things clean during a global pandemic. And speaking of which- no mask mandates are being upheld. I saw more employees wearing masks than actual customers. As a mother of two immunocompromised children, this made a simple errand a nerve wracking endeavor.The last thing that rubbed me the wrong way was someone who appeared to be some sort of manager in the register area, as he appeared to hold some sort of authority. I didn’t catch a name tag unfortunately . He was very rude in the way he spoke to other employees and customers. Maybe I’m just sensitive, but he really did sound a touch too harsh for my liking. Even I know how to give people more respect when speaking.

I went to one of lake Charles Walmart stores and they had a liquor section that was really awesome. I have never seen that side of Walmart before. I was definitely impressed.

Nelson wal-mart just flat out sucks .its dirty, shelves are allways empty. Place stinks like armpit.

Walmart is Walmart some days they have the item you need some days they don’t ! Forget the online app the stuff they don’t even have in the store !! I recommend Target

It was a super great experience for me and my family my like of you see someone you know and stop and talk to them inside the store located in the middle of the walk way they let you speak in peace.

When they first went nationwide they were an awesome store. They were friendly courteous and helpful. Now days not so much. They are rude, unfriendly, and they dont or wont do the price match thing anymore. They have done away with layaway on big purchases except right around the holidays. They have run most of the small businesses out of business and they got cocky as a result and it shows in there whole store and employee attitudes. I dont like to shop there anymore and if I can find what I am looking for elsewhere or online if I have the time to wait for it. They also do not honor their warranty policies like on cell phones and such like they used to. I found that out the hard way. I was stuck with a broke phone for months and it went out like a week after I had bought it and they would not exchange or refund the money even though I had the receipt and the number was still on the phone on the back they would not take it back without the box. Who keeps a box? Anyway that is my personal experience and thoughts on Walmart

They always run out of something. Whenever I go there, I will surely miss an item because the store ran out of that supply. And oh, do not use their store pickup,that service when you buy online and wait for it inside the store. Their machine broke, then you have to call a number and wait for 30 minutes before the worker shows up and give you your item. All other services are fine.

Only one register open and was close to clean up. Advised her that if we would want to self check out we would do it online. We had to wait for a good while. Some customers left their shopping carts with groceries and just left. When she checked us out she had an was attitude and was unfriendly.

The pharmacy personnel is terrific ! We asked for some help shopping in the toy department and a very friendly worker helped us . We go to Wal Mart at least once a week and everyone is polite and helpful .

Computers was down for fishing license and the lady for that dept. Was very rude and told me to just find another walmart. I ask her was there another one close and she rolled her eyes and said no. As I walked off she complaining about me asking. Also very poor selection on just about everything we was looking for. Shelves not stocked at all. Stuff laying all over.

Had 3 different items double charged by the cashier and they refused to take extra charges off of ticket! I guess Walmart has to regenerate profits from covid19 by stealing from its customers!!!!! 🤬👺

I am so disappointed in ALL of your stores in this area! 10 if your employees were maskless--one was coughing! The lines are horrible and the app informed me the item I needed was available and it wasnt!

The bathrooms are disgusting. There was no soap in the dispensar and the produce in stock was rotten. Stay away from this store.

Nice people in the automotive dept. And fast I had four new tires put on and took them maybe an hour to mount balance and to put back on . And a good price for good year tires

Only one register open and all of the self checkouts were card only. There was no one working at the self check out section to get help.

I use to go later at night to avoid the crowds, but with having changed hours, I have no choice but to go before 9:30pm. They never have enough checkout lanes open so your always waiting to checkout, but its the price we pay for wide selections and good prices.

The store has everything and it’s good to shop here. But, lately they have been removing services like, they removed the aquarium fish section from the store, and all of the aquarium stuffs. Moreover, the people who works in the auto service centre are not that serious about their work, I went there to change my battery and they kept me waiting for 4 hours for no reason. Changing a battery is a 10 minute job but they were just chilling out there.

This was a run to Wal-Mart trip during my lunch trip. Only had about 40 minutes to get there, get what I need and get out. It was a SUCCESS but I definitely was that lady who was sprinting while pushing the cart out the door and into the parking lot! 🤷 Nelson road store is by far the BEST store in our area out of all the Wal-Mart locations! ( No, this does not apply to the neighborhood market in Moss Bluff!) I say this because you are limited to a few things there rather than the super stores. Great staff and super friendly. They are ALWAYS really good about have a generous stock supply on various of items. Which is SUPER appreciated in all honesty! TRAFFIC🚦however is a whole new ballgame of crazy and insanity! Avoid Nelson road at all costs during main drive times. Early mornings headed to work, school zone times, 4-6 pm and during lunch hours! 😊

THE WORST WALMART EVER! I NEVER WENT INSIDE BUT ITS THE WORST! I HAVE BEEN INTO SO MANY WALMARTS IN THE COUNTRY YET THIS IS THE WORST OF THEM ALL. IM NOT FROM LAKE CHARLES, I WAS PASSING THRU NEEDED SOMETHING FROM WALMART AND IM SURE THEY HAD WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR, WHEN I PULLED UP TO THE HANDICAP PARKING SPOT BY THE GROCERY SIDE RIGHT AT 9:35PM SOMEONE IS A WHITE FORD F150 WITH SUPER DARK TINT SAID OVER A LOUD SPEAKER AND I QUOTE THE DOOR IS CLOSE! THE DOOR IS CLOSE! THEY SAID IT EVERY TIME A CAR PULLED INTO THE PARKING LOT! TO TOP IT OFF IT WASENT EVEN 10PM YET! WALMART FIX THIS ISSUE NOW!

I went to Walmart to purchase a Boost Mobile phone. I find them cheaper at Walmart than at the Boost Store even with a upgrade. Young lady in electronics was such a big help. She had a lot of customers and she was working with each one as she could. I wish I would have gotten her name bc she had awesome customer service skills.

Terrible. Go in to make a money order and was told by the woman there that was having another conversation with another employee that she couldnt do it because she was the only one there. There was no one in line. She was just lazy. Absolutely ridiculous.

My wife and I shop at Walmart fairly often. Sometimes its a good experience, other times it isnt. There are actually multiple Walmart stores in the area. And they are often different in what they carry and their prices. We go to the one on Memorial because a lot of the necessity items we get are less expensive there. We go to the one on Nelson rd. because their selection or quantity is usually better.

I like the card-by-pay-only associate that sometimes comes to long lines. WM is definitely THE one-stop shop. Organized; better savings, deals, and discounts. Plenty of Pick-up parking spots. Five stars.

Decent selection and clean store. One star taken due to the lack of available employees to offer assistance when shopping. Another star due to the amount of substitutions during grocery pickup and the fact that I went into the store immediately afterwards to find a suitable substitution and found the item they claimed they were out of.

Whats not to love about Walmart

I did good at Walmart, but one thing it needs more electric carts for disabled customers that its hard to walk with bad legs

I come here too often. Unfortunately, I live five minutes away and they are open 24 hours.... Maybe today Ill finally understand its just perceived convenience and they really arent 24 hours.Like every other time I come here after 10 oclock, the self-checkout is closed and the one, maybe two lines, are about 12 customers deep. Today, I mean right now, as I stand here in line like an idiot because I forgot wrapping paper for a toddler bday party in the am, the line was curved into the clothing section! ItsI been bad before, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I dont know how many times I have left my stuff and simply walked out (I wish I could now and follow suit with the half dozen or so Ive seen walk out in the last 15) but its more than I care to admit as it just solidifies my foolishness for walking in this place.Do yourself a favor... If its past 10pm, go to a 24hr anything but here.

Shelves not stocked. Very few check out lanes. I am from out of town and I shop at Walmart for their prices and variety but this one was the worst.

This store is so important to many communities. The variety of items and prices are just awesome. Sadly, many employees are so careless, some are even rude, but there is also many of them who work hard and are very kind and willing to help.Also the restrooms are often dirty and stinky. (Some customers are to blame as well).

Walmart has become necessary in most of our everyday lives for a variety of reasons. Though because of COVID their limited staff numbers leaves the lines at self checkout only lanes lined up from one end of the store to the other end. Despite uncontrollable circumstances walmart is almost as important as the toilet paper it sells. God bless us all

Good experience except for 2 things. The sporting goods dept(fishing) hasnt restocked since christmas and as always only one cashier and 6 self checkouts going while the 4 self checkouts at the other side of the 20 empty checkout lines are powered on but unavailable to the customer to use while managers and countless employees stand around watching the lines grow to nearly the back of the store
