As a beginner I knew I needed help. The staff was very knowledgeable and gave really good recommendations. Did not try to up sell me. I would recommend this store to anyone.

I am a professional knifemaker. Tandy is my go-to leather supplier for all of my sheath making needs. They also carry kydex sheath making supplies. The manager Jonathan is a talented leatherworker and he and his crew are happy to help guide you in all your leathercrafting projects.

Great location. Very well stocked. Had everything I was looking for. Reasonable prices.

Amazing store and amazing staff. They have always had anything I needed, they always have great deals running and the staff has always been so helpful. I travel over an hour to visit them anytime I have questions or need things instead of ordering online because I trust the staff at the Knoxville location to show me what I need and tell me how to use it with my best interest always in mind.I Love this store.

This place is so helpful in my journey to leather stamping. Im just a beginner an the staff is really understanding and so helpful. I bought a quite a bit of things to get started. An if you stay in there to long youll see more and more that you want . But if your just starting like I am they will show you just the basic tools and leather that will get you on you way. Other than the store being the size of a phone booth and having to drive an hour and a half to get there the employees are helpful courteous.I could call in my orders but I rather go visit the store in person so I may pick out the best leather I can get for my money.on my last visit I was told that they will be moving to a bigger store which should make for a better shopping experience

I have been to several Tandy stores and have always found the staff to be very helpful and considerate. That was not the case here. Rude and lazy with zero customer service skills.I had planned to buy quite a bit of leather but walked out with nothing. If this was my local store I would order from Weavers without question.It shouldnt feel like we are inconveniencing the staff to buy leather.

Much bigger than the old one, everyone was helpful and they answered all questions I had. I just became an Elite member, it only cost me $25 additional after the Elite savings. The savings adds up fast, definitely the best way to go.

I went into Tandy Leather last week knowing absolutely nothing about leather and how to fix my cosplay outfits that were too small and needed snaps. I went in and was greeted by the lovely staff who helped me figure out what I needed to get to fix my materials. One of the employees whos name escapes me showed me all that I needed and how easy it was to fix.I returned later in the week for a work shop that was happening at the store and was greeted by other members of the store. I told them what was wrong with my materials and they walked me through what I needed to do and how to do it. Then he let me fix it with his helpful instructions.Now my cosplay looks great thanks to the gentlemen that work at Tandy Leather. I was so worried that I was going to ruin it or it would come out bad but thankfully I was in great hands .If anyone has any questions or needs help with a project I highly suggest going to this store.

Love this place, found a way to help me with my PTSD. They are always having sales and specials. They also have classes on working with leather.

I called on a Wednesday afternoon.I needed a ram foot for my Tandy press.Ordered it over the phone for OVERNIGHT delivery since I had orders to complete.The girl at Tandy, could not locate my information although I had placed a large order with them about a week ago.Here it is Thursday night... NO damn ram foot !Why ?Because the girl who took my order seemed to think that I lived on OAK St..I guess I can see her confusion as LOCUST St. does sound so much like OAK St.No ram foot, I am out a few hundred in unfilled orders.Glad to see that they continue their proud tradition of triple tier pricing and incompetence.SO sad, as the lady a week ago went out of her way to make sure EVERYTHING was correct.

I love Tandy stores. They have so much to offer. Prices are high, but good quality.. It is also clearly evident Tandy pays their employes only to show up and be knowledgeable. They are not paid to be nice....polite sometimes...but not nice. You dont get a nice smile, just a serious look that could be taken as a you are bothering melook. Giving them the benefit of a doubt, I smile and try to make small talk...nope, not gonna happen. I have decided, I truely hate going to the store and will buy online. That hurts their business because in the store, I tend to always buy something else-other than just what was on my list. I travel ~75 miles to get to the closest store. Given that, I will save by paying postage. But, I wont have that degrading feeling i tend to leave with along with my purchase. Speaking of leaving...this last visit, I only left with a there you go...not a thank you. I said thank you and left with such a horrible feeling to start my day. It was about 1030 am. The store opened 10 minutes late btw, which wasnt a problem- just another sign of unbusiness like actions. Sorry for this bad review of the store-not the merchandise. But, it happens every time i go there. So, having been a self employed person for 17 years, i just felt it was worth letting the owners know how I felt. Visit was 10-5-18.

This is one of the best stores I have ever been in. Keven was kind and extremely knowledgeable. Even when I told him I was just window shopping, he still helped me out and made sure I knew my options. He is a true gem.
