The young man at the counter this morning was very helpful. During my repair he was able to salvage some reusable parts from my key/fob. It saved time and money. The whole thing took about 15min. I will return with future business and recommend them to anyone needing keys or repairs.

I needed to have a new key cut and programmed for my Subaru. I called the dealership and three local locksmiths. Outlet was the least expensive - $30 to $50 less than the others.The shop was clean and the man at the counter was friendly and professional. The process took a bit longer than they had estimated. He explained to me that Subarus can be a challenge. This is my third Subaru, I think that they make a great car, but they are often a bit different.Their shop is in a convenient location on Western Avenue, just a short distance from 640.I recommend Outlet Key Shop - nice people, good work and a very good price. What else could you ask for?

Needed a fob for our 2008 Cobalt, they sold us one and programed it for 54.00, the chevrolet dealer wanted 150.00 just for the fob, to get it programed would have been extra. Highly recommend outlet key shop

I went in to have my key fob checked because it was working intermittently. The guy was super nice! Cleaned the inside and tested battery, which was low. Very knowledgeable and explained things to look for if the fob is going bad.Highly recommend this place!

I had to get another key made for my car. So I had to take a lyft to the store. The lady told me as long as I had all the pieces they would take those and make me another one and save a bunch of money. When I got there the kid took the chip out and tested it. Hw told me that the chip was good but my battery was dead in my fob. They did not make me another key or offer to sell me a battery.

I needed an extra key for my car but didn’t need the pricey key fob for keyless entry. They had what I needed and saved a who lot of money!

I wanted additional security by adding a second lock to our door. The technician arrived on time and patiently discussed my particular needs. As a 77 year old woman, Im accustomed to being talked over, brushed aside, or ignored. He was most professional and took care to listen and advise. I am very happy with this company and would HIGHLY recommend.

Called multiple times through out the day. Either didnt get an answer, or was sent to the technicians voicemail which wasnt set up so the call would end. Finally spoke to someone who gave me the owners number and was told to call and text them. Which I did, and still never got any sort of answer. And this has been almost 2 weeks ago now. I was recommended to them by the owners family. Id tell anyone who is without any keys to their car and needs keys made I just couldnt refer this business.

After spending a $163 on having a key made because my key doesnt work in my lock only to have this key not working a whole 22 days later. The little 4 eyed guy in the office talked over me and wouldnt listen. By phone they told me to bring the key in then when I get there he says it would work better if we had the car here. I talked on the phone with you 4 times and told you the key wont unlock my car doors. He just wanted to charge for coming out again cause they said it would be $50. I explained my lupus and diabetes and I just wanted to make my Drs visit. Do you think he cared? Noooo. Hes rude and his affect shows he shouldnt deal with the public. So here I sit missing my Drs appt and still cant get in my car. I have receipts over $1400 later proving that its not my battery alternator or anything else HE TRIED so they wouldnt have to fix this default of a key. Definitely wouldnt recommend them and wont use them again

Extremely competent and very helpful. I went in with my Mazda FOB because I was told I needed a new one. I called around and they had the best prices by far. When I went in, they said actually I didnt need a new FOB. The battery (which someone at a battery store had just installed) had been installed upside down! So that just saved me a lot of money! Well, it turns out I did need to replace part of my FOB because I had (at one point in the distant past) superglued it together and when it was taken apart to put the new battery in, it didnt want to stay shut. But instead of telling me I had to replace the whole thing, they told me what part I could replace (once again, saving me some money). They are going to be ordering it for me. Once again, very competent, no pressure to buy anything, and good prices. Great customer service!

My wife and I moved cross country from Phoenix to Knoxville recently. After packing our moving truck in Phoenix my wife realized someone stole her car keys. The key fob and all. Upon arrival in Knoxville we contacted the Toyota dealer on Parkside Dr. They wanted $188 for a new fob, PLUS $75 to program it! We did some leg work and found one on Amazon for $30 including 2 day shipping. After getting the key, we were referred to a different locksmith by a Lowes employee. They did a great job cutting the new key fob, however they dont program them. So we basically had a useless key. We called Toyota once again and they told us to contact the company across the street form them as they dont actually program the keys themselves...umm..what!! So we did. They couldnt program the aftermarket either. We thought we were stuck. The next day we called Toyota for clarification, and now they said they CAN program the key at the dealership, BUT it was going to be $128 and NOT $75, and it would take an hour and a half!! WHAT!!! So now the Toyota dealer was price gouging us!! We did more leg work and eventually got referred to the Outlet Key Shop by American Radio. We were told to ask for Doc. They said if he cant do it nobody could. After arriving at this business, we were told it would cost $45 regardless if the key programming worked or not. We understood and at this point we were willing to take the gamble. After MAYBE 5 minutes, Doc had the key programmed and it works like its brand new!!! All employees here are very friendly, personable, HONEST, and informative!! Toyota was a HUGE disappointment!!!! We cant say enough about this place. The only regret we have is that we didnt find this place BEFORE everything else happened. BUT WE ARE SURE GLAD WE ENDED UP THERE!! Do yourself a favor and make this your first stop! It will be your ONLY stop you need!! Thank you for making us feel welcome and for your awesome business!!

Just walked out of the shop. Came in to get 5 keys cut and waited at the counter for 15 minutes for the lady talking on the phone in the back of the shop to come to front. Apparently her taking care of somebody elses cats over the phone is more important than actually running the shop. No problem, Ill go to someone who actually works when they are on the clock.

I love this place! My car key broke, like the plastic part that connects it to the key chain. I was prepared to pay up to $50 and it was less than $5. Granted, my key is just a key, not a key fob-key combo, but they have those there and they have the regular key fob sans key, just all key related things. It took maybe 45 seconds to do. Im tempted to break/lose more keys just to have an excuse to go there and be delighted by how little I have to spend to get them replaced. Its also like five minutes away from my office. Customer service was also great. If you need keys or other key-related things, go here first.

I had a key fob made for my mothers car May 6th. Exactly 22 days later, the key fob stops working and they refused to send anyone out to remedy the issue. Thats $164 down the drain for their cheaply made material. not to mention the key doesnt even turn in our ignition or unlock the door manually. They are very unprofessional and could care less about their customers. I will never do business with them ever again.

Outlet Key Shop will do their best to help you out in any way they can.I had a non conventional job of getting 2 keys working which were purchased from a third vendor. After the Nissan Dealership was unable to get them to work i came to OKS and the owner helped me out even after hours until we got the keys working. Would 100% recommend.

Absolutely recommend this place to anyone before you go spend big money with someone else! James was so nice! He even walked out to the road to show up where they were located(because we went too far down). We talked to dealers and locksmiths to have a key remade for our 1998 Firebird. No dealer had the equipment and the locksmiths wanted over a hundred dollars for just the ignition key. James made our ignition key and trunk key for 60 dollars, tax included! Headed home now to crank my car! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thanks so much again!

I had a car. It had a failing ignition key cylinder. It had a different keyed driver side door with no key. It had a failing passenger side door key cylinder. And, the passenger door handke was broken so the procedure to get in the car was to unlock the passenger door, then get in any other door. Before I could no longer get in my car, i took my key cylinder locks to Outlet Key Shop. Now ALL my locks work flawlessly and on a single key! These guys and gals are good!
