I was recommended by my coworker and he was absolutely correct. I needed to swap the brakes because I am used to have rear brake on the left side. I also need to order a front suspension fork for the e-bike. Lindsey was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She fixed the brake right away and found the suspension too. They also have a great stock of accessories too. This will be my go-to bike shop moving forward.

I haven’t ridden a bike in almost 20 years. I have been working on getting back in shape and figured that getting back on a bike would a fun way to do it. I knew I wanted to get a Trek because I had always wanted one when I was younger. I was a little nervous going to a bike shop because I felt like I was walking into a club that I wasn’t a member of. I was instantly welcomed by everyone there, not just employees, but customers too. I found the perfect bike and was able get some one on one time to show me some tips about getting back in the saddle again. I would highly recommend them to anyone who currently rides or is looking to get into the sport!

I am not a bicyclist myself, but my kids love to ride and they seem to constantly wrecking their bikes. The staff here is the best, eveytime we have an issue they take the time to truly fix it. This last time I walked in with a flat tire and I was out the door with a new tire and inner tube in a matter of minutes. They are bike lovers and they know their way around all kinds of bikes.

I had a great experience working with Lisa over a few week period to outfit a new Trek before I could arrive to pick it up. Upon arrival, I found the rest of the staff as friendly and knowledgeable as she was. There were no surprises beyond the excellent fitting I received before leaving the shop. Everything was in order; the build was done well and the overall experience was worth the 7 hour drive to get there. If interested, just go for it!

I was in a bind - we had an anniversary trip to NC planned for our anniversary. The highlight of the trip was to be a bike in the DuPont Forest. It was a bummer the night before, when I realized my right hand brake was messed up. I brought the bike in the morning of the trip and in spite of the fact that the shop was crazy busy wth repairs, Mark fixed it on the spot in less than 30 minutes. They really responded to my unusual situation and went above and beyond. This saved our trip and made for a memorable 31st Anniversary - THANK YOU!!!

I was very pleased by the communication, the service and especially the bike I just purchased from Cedar Bluff Cycles. It took 3 months to come in because of the pandemic but they kept me up to date and I actually got the bike 10 days earlier than expected.

It was a wonderful experience at Cedar Bluff cycles. My younger son bike pedal came off and just replacing the one pedal instead they replaced both pedal and they are same design and was not expensive. I would like to say they are fast, reliable and inexpensive for repair.

They demand masks even after the mandate has been lifted. We are fully vaccinated so I will gladly spend my money elsewhere!

The folks at Cedar Bluff Cycles always listen to what I say and offer good cost effective solutions. They always take the time to help me and if they cannot immediately resolve a problem, they have always given me a realistic repair schedule that I know they will honor. Furthermore, if something unforeseen happens and a part doesnt come in or they cant service my bike as originally planned, they always inform me directly which is not true of all shops.All in all, I am loyal to them because they have always done their best to keep me riding and they are honest in all of their dealings. Service was really Good. I had looked on the Trek website the day before and it said the bike was at the shop. I called and talked to Lisa. She verified the bike was there and the size and price were correct. She held it for me until the next day when I was able to come down and give it a test ride. They said they wanted to do a full checkup on it and come pick up next day. It was ready when I arrived the next day. Great bike, great service.

Also, they reacted to the covid19 situation responsibly by putting their (and their customers) health above all and implemented no contact service and sales. Keep up the great work guys!!!

The store is currently exercising extra safety precautions which I understand and appreciate. Because of this, they ask customers to wait outside the store to be assisted. I waited outside for 15 minutes while the two associates assisted other customers. I was never acknowledged while waiting and finally went to leave. After walking to my car, a man walked to the store and was immediately assisted even though the previous customers were still there. This was not worth my 45 minute drive to the location.

Great phone service despite being super booked. I got there 25 minutes till they closed and they tuned up my bike on the spot. This was really fantastic seeing that i was told it was a three week turn around on everything. Jerry is the man.

Very nice store/shop, but its the staff that makes them the best around. Very friendly, and extremely helpful staff. Whether its a major repair, a quick while you wait repair/adjustment, or even recommendations of local riding areas, they can hook you up.

Everyone here seems down to earth and knowledgeable and not sales-y. I never felt rushed when I was deciding on my purchase, and ultimately I feel incredibly happy with the bike I purchased from there. It was exactly what I wanted and never felt like I was being pushed to buy what they had to get rid of. While they did offer me a good deal on a carbon version they had on hand of what I was going to order, I just couldnt go there as the aluminum one was at the top of what I had budgeted as it was. I liked that they never made me feel bad for cheaping out or guilted me into the one sitting there; very supportive and understanding of where I was at. I do believe my buddy picked up the carbon one however, and he loves it as well. The demoing deal they offer is pretty similar to other bike shops, but I greatly appreciated it none the less because that helped solidify my purchasing decision (after trying multiple brands, and stores), and I always tell my friends to go ride them first!

My boyfriend and I came here about a month ago and were really impressed with the service we received. We came in for some cycling shoes (my boyfriend just got into cycling for the Warrior games) and left really satisfied. The employees here treat you like family. I am sure we will be back.

So Im not a cycle guy, at least not yet, but I had a service issue with a wheelchair Ive been cleaning up as a surprise for a friend of mine. I bought 2 new solid tires for the chair but was unable to mount them. I gave CBC a call and the lady I spoke with said to bring it in. I took it in Friday morning just when they opened the shop, had the guys look at it and before noon they had it ready for an awesome price. I cant thank you folks enough for your quick and friendly service.Geoff.

I’ve had to deal with this shop three times and I’ve never had a good experience. We are newer to the area and the first time we went in we were just browsing, my sister was looking at the Marlin bikes, and they started friendly but soon were pushing a more expensive bike. We told them we were just looking and they continued to push, also they were treating us like we knew nothing about mountain biking and never asked about how long we had been riding or anything. The second time, they were even more pushy about up selling. We ended up buying a Marlin 6, just because of the sale. Up to the point of paying for the bike they would not let up about upgrading to the Roscoe. The two men that we dealt with again treated us like we didn’t know anything about biking but they were particularly hard on my sister. During this I asked if they would like size the bike and he said of course. We went outside and he adjusted the seat, asked my sister to get on, asked how the seat height felt, and said ok that’s it. In my opinion that is not sizing a bike. I’ve had multiple bike shops ask if the stem length felt good, if the spacers feel good, how the fork feels, what tire pressure feels right, even things like if the spacing of the pedals felt right. I guess they just don’t care if you are buying a lower end bike. The final time I dealt with them it was over a warranty issue. The man told me what was wrong with the bike without even looking at it, I’ve worked on bikes for years and knew exactly what was wrong. I told him what I thought was wrong with it and he said, whatever we will figure out how to make the warranty cover it. They ended up replacing the broken part with a used part and charging us to install it, literally bolt off bolt on. I fully regret ever buying a bike from them and will never do business with them again. I would recommend that anyone who is getting into biking or new to the area to steer clear, it would be terrible if your intro to biking was anything like what I had to deal with.
