This may be the worst review I have ever experienced, if I could give zero stars I would! my experience is that I took my truck 5 times to alienate they never gave me my truck well aligned, a worker was rude, he took my truck in a rude way and I handled it in a bad way, the worst part was today, the Manager Jaime V . He doesnt have any costumer service, he was a kick, very rude, I even laughed in mu face and I couldnt get a refund! I do not recommend this place! zero professionalism

This store USED to have great customer service. Made an appointment online and arrived in store. I had just purchased tires from Discount tire and needed a lifetime alignment ($200) but didn’t know if the tie rods were bad due to excessive wear on the old tires on the inside I just replaced. They wanted to charge a $22 inspection charge to determine if they were bad. Not sounding rude but for me $20 makes a difference and inspecting the tie rods takes no time at all, there are tons of other mechanic shops that look at your entire car, tell you everything that’s wrong for FREE. I however love the alignments Firestone does and have always liked the employees due to being extremely helpful and friendly . HOWEVER, this time sucked, the employee who assisted me (Hispanic male) wasn’t anywhere in the store when I walked in, outside talking for a while. Once he did notice someone was inside he came in but didn’t have a friendly atmosphere to him. I explained what was wrong and asked if they could just Inspect the tie rods and not charge me if I did purchase the alignment but stated no. I figured if I purchased $200 they would at least credit me the $20 inspection. He didn’t care and refused and I informed him I would go else where to which he stated okay. You would think they would want your business but apparently not. Went to the Fry road Firestone and he looked at it for free and I purchased the $200 lifetime alignment. Will never use this location again. It sucks.

Absolutely atrocious customer service by the person at the front desk. We called 10 minutes ago asking if we can get a quick patch job on a tire. She said if it’s repairable, we can do it, it will take about 30 minutes. Great. I showed up and she says it will be a couple of hours if you want to drop it off. Lol. She was so rude. She said more people came and it’s first come first serve. She asked if I think I’m more important than other people! Lol all I wanted was a patch on a tire from a nail. That’s it. A couple of hours! What a jooooooke. They were not busy at all either. There was no one in the lobby and the technicians were just chillin at the desk. I asked nicely could you please just take care of us 5 minutes and we will Be on the road lol such a bad experience. I never leave reviews either but she compelled me!

We took my husbands truck in to have the A/C fixed. They replaced the blower motor, which we knew needed to be replaced, drained and refilled the freon and charged us $440 and told us it was fixed. We get the truck back and while the air was blowing harder than before, it was hotter than it was before we took it in. It was also running rough and my husband discovered a plug that they forgot plug back in. We take it back and they call and tell us that basically the entire A/C system needs to be replaced and it would cost $1,200. We then took it to Discount Car Care on Kingsland. Turns out that the people at Firestone put 3.7 pounds of freon into a 2 pound system. It was over pressurized which is why it was blowing hot and it could have blown the whole system. Discount Car Care charged $45 to drain it and put in the correct amount of freon. The A/C is now working perfectly. We will never go to Firestone again. They could have cost us so much money after already getting over $400 from us.

I called numerous times and was unable to speak to anyone there and when they finally answered I was unable to hear them because of an issue with their phones. No customer service, all I wanted was a simple oil change and became such an issue I was forced to go somewhere else

Excellent I returned from a location I got the work from in Tennessee. This location fixed it explained it. Eric kept me posted on update to my issue. They were nice and give military discounts. AC and throttle fixed on my truck

I have AAA they told me they dont carry batteries for my make and model car so I had to go to firestone...they did a great job...wish AAA would tell people this info before they buy their plan...I recommend Firestone to everyone they are polite and do a great job!

Well this is my 2nd time using the Katy location mind you I have a series of 5 cars and I had been using the Galleria for over a decade I had never been charged any diagnostic fee to basically plug up the car to the machine to get the check engine light resolved. Ive been dismayed to find that its a $100 fee even though on line there is a free coupon. The store manager would not do anything and while Ive paid thousands of dollars even having a Firestone card this one service has to be towed because again I feel an injustice for to direct reasons 1 never being charged and to for this. Maybe they will honor the coupon for the next customer.

Great service! We were on our way back from out of town and had tire blow out on our trailer on Labor Day. It took forever to find a place open. Our salesman Jeramy got us right in and even went to change the tire himself because he knew how long we had been stranded. Thanks again for the great customer service!

Took my 2015 Hyundai Equus into this firestone for the annual state mandated inspection. The staff at this site failed the car for a tire that had low tread. Tires have less than 15k miles on them and all tread is well below the wear bars. The manager of the store looked again and said it too low. I asked to not be charged the $25 and i would get it inspected at another place down the street, which is were i am now. They would not relent on the charge. So, over $25 they lose a customer for life.They are reporting Tires are fine and i passed the inspection in 15 mins. So, not sure what to make of this. It feels like it was an attempt to sell tires, but not sure. Be careful with this place!

Well I go there for my alignment mostly because it was close to discount tire where I got brand new tires, Firestone offers a lifetime alignment for a certain price for your vehicle anyways thats what I have,I had other issues with some noise coming from the front suspension engine compartment or whatever they could not find the issue kind of disappointed with that, but the biggest concern was how the alignment machine hooks to the rim... It rubbed my rims where it left marks they did not want to take responsibility for, I have a very older model car so the rims had other marks so it seemed like they were not too concerned but to me that is not cool because just because a car is old and has dings and or marks in it... Should not and does not dismiss the fact that their machine putting fresh marks on my rims I brought it to the attention of them not just because I was unhappy with the fact that my rims have new fresh marks but just for the fact that if its doing it to my car it could possibly do it to someone elses room, other than this they are very respectful polite and seem like they do good work

Called them because I was in a bind for a repair that needed done ASAP. I described what I needed, was given a quote over the phone, and showed up 15 minutes later. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, they said the cost was going to be double what he had previously quoted me supposedly because my vehicle wasnt standard for the previous price. Its a basic, toyota sienna so it is not an uncommon vehicle. Took my business across the street to the Midas who offered better prices and customer service. Midas had the job done and paid for in a little over half an hour

I had taken a life-time alignment service for my vehicle last year based on the good service and advise provided. This year I went for my vehicle wheel alignment after taking an appointment and was disappointed with the customer service. I had taken an appointment and was told to wait for 30 mins. before they can work on my car after arriving on time for appointment. After waiting 1.5 hr. at their shop I enquired about the status of my vehicle and I was told that they are yet to begin on it as my time slot was double booked and it will still take 1.5 hr more to complete alignment as there was another car in front of mine.After hearing this I took my vehicle and left as I understood this place does not understand the value of time and meaning of appointment. I will stay away from this Firestone shop in future.

I went 45 minutes before closing and they cant fix one tire, one tire,,some employees make the thing happen, definitely this place is so mediocre!!!and unwilling to go the extra mile for a customers.

I never have an issue with them and on a good day they are pretty quick. Accommodate me as an emergency today. Like most repair places always want you to do a little more that is expected but when you say next time they are not rude about it.

So, bare with me for this is a long review but i want to let everyone know what you may be getting yourself into. My complaints were that every time i talked on the phone my price went up.I called to schedule appointment and they told me 850, took the car in they called back and and said tires are different so price went to 888 that was okay until i called back 5 minutes later and told them just do the tires but they said they said they were already pretty much done with everything so it was too late for them except for 2 other things and my engine flush, so when they took those off and told me my new total it was 927 (keep in mind it was 6 hours later that my vehicle was finished definitely racking up the labor costs there was no way they were finished with all of that stuff 5 minutes later after my call). That made no sense. So i added everything back just because this will be the last time i go there. When i go to pick up my car i talk to one of the employees jerome to help understand what happened and he gets angry yelling at me and my wife and blaming it on an employee that helped us at first because he did not go over price with us and handed us a blank sheet of paper and blaming out on us too (this is our first time at firestone we dont know what were doing, its your job to keep is informed). He is also a manager and it is his job to train new employees prior to them handling guests so these things dont happen. The other manager intervened and sent jerome away and told us wed have 10% off for our troubles so they wouldnt have a bad name in our mouth (almost didnt take it but Im broke so i didnt have a choice), our final price went from 1187 to 1123. Nowhere near 10%. The prices are just INSANE my total for tires at 88 a tire was 352 but somehow the tires were charged at 523.52. Might as well take the clothes off of my childs back while youre at it! Until i get some kind of explanation that really makes sense of my bill, i will continue to make posts to firestone and on facebook and let my church community of katy, as well as family and friends, community sites, and random people know how crooked firestone was to my family in need. Im an honest person, and trust that you should steer completely clear of this place.

Absolute worst. As an essential Healthcare worker working 7 12s for the last 3 months, todat was the second time I walked in the store after getting off early trying to get an oil change and was turned away. Thanks for telling me that you work a lot too, I appreciate the sentiment.

The guys at this location are friendly, knowledgeable and honest! I went in today for a car repair that I knew wasnt going to be cheap. They ran diagnostics that were going to take a bit of time and updated me throughout. When it was time to do the repair I was told it would take about 4 hours. I was not looking forward to waiting that out in the shop with my 7 year old daughter, so they gave us a ride home. When they called later to let me know my car was ready, they also told me the price was going to be $200 cheaper than quoted! They could have easily just gone with the quoted price. I believe I have found my new car repair shop!!

Brett was really helpful with the process of trying to get my car fixed. Between talking with me, answering a hundred of my phone calls, and dealing with my insurance company; he did a stellar job! I appreciate his patience, and customer service! Too bad Google wont let me leave a 10 star review for him.

Don’t know about those 5 stars but I will give them 0 if there’s one. My wife just had a routine maintenance like oil change and tire rotation. She waited for almost two hours then the guy came and showed her more parts that needs to be replaced. The guy said battery is not good which I replaced a year ago, wipers, tires not looking good. The bill was almost $2000. My wife’s car is 4 years old. Don’t fall on their trap. Good thing she called me and we stopped every thing what they’re doing. Horrible

The only good thing about this place is its location, I was quoted 1hr for oil change/ tire rotation, 1 1/2 later I was informed that they were just getting started. Specifically asked for washer fluid to be topped off, even though box was checked off as being full, it was as empty as it was before I brought it in, also failed to replace the date/millage sticker. But they sure did wanna sell me 4 new tires, wont be returning back to this location.

Good service from this store. Brandon the manager made things right when they forgot to put my center caps back on and couldnt find them. He ordered 4 new ones right away. Store is clean and the location is good. You can go grab a bite to eat, go to walmart, or walk around the mall while they work on your car. Services done well and good value for the money.

Needed two new tires and they seemed pretty busy, but they have fast service and got me out the door in less than a hour.

Wait time is always an hour plus no matter what. Staff is helpful. I have to remind them sometimes to do a job on my car that I requested in the beginning. Example: rotate tires or check A.C. For the most part job gets done to my satisfaction

Guys! Do not buy lifetime wheel maintenance package which takes care of Wheel alignment, balancing, rotation may be at this location or across Firestone, because they keep the vehicle at the last in the lane, when you visit after bought it. I assume that they may not get money on your particular visit, hence put the vehicle back. This is not one time for me this kind of experience at this location. Assume they would not do this....Dont they have estimation of the time based on the number of vehicles and the list of things to done? We normally get a gestimation of the vehicle to be done. I left the vehicle at 11.00 AM and want back at 3.00PM, and job was not done.

My state inspection was done quickly, and they did not try to sell any other services! Well done. Had a coupon they sent in the mail, to lower the price as well.

Honesty all the way through from this location. I came there for a quote and second opinion after a dealership gave a extremely high and questionable quote. I told several friends about this location because honest mechanics are hard to find apparently.

I made an 8 a.m. oil change appointment online (confirmed by an email ). When I arrived at 7:57 a.m. there were 2 other customers in the business; one of which was just waiting in the lobby for his service to be completed. After standing in front of 2 different representatives for 15 minutes without an attempt to greet me or find out why I was standing there in front of them, I decided to leave. As I am walking out the door one of them finally loudly says, Have you been helped, sir?, by which point Ive decided to take my business elsewhere and politely declined. Im not an impatient person by nature; if they would have simply asked what I was there for and taken my keys and told me to wait, I would have waited patiently for my oil change to be completed. But with literally over 100 places in the area to get a simple oil change, Im not going to stay at a place where I have a confirmed appointment and be completely ignored. I expected more from a Firestone service center.

My daughter had her car here 2 days ended up having to miss work because car wasnt through as initially stated! They told us they had to order a part and have it FedExd the next day and the car should be done at 6:30p. The part was put on and low and behold drove the car off as they said it was completed and the brakes locked up and the car started smoking! Why you ask? It was the wrong part!!! So we had to go another day w/o the car, have the correct part ordered in and placed on the car! Just a terrible experience all the way around and costing over a grand! Eventually they got it right 🤞🤞🚘🚘

I went here honestly because I had a voucher for some percentage off for an alignment and I needed one real bad on my car.First time ever. The guy who helped me out was very knowledgeable and made sure I understood what was going on. He managed to get the alignment done in good time and showed me how far off it was. He also told me that if I feel the car pulling to one side, its because 1 tire is worn out more than the other 3. He said it shouldnt be a problem right now but I will need to replace it within the next 1000 miles and advised me to change a minimum of 2 and explained the logic behind it. Came home and did research on it and he was absolutely 100% correct. They definitely earned a lifetime customer now!Highly recommended.

Jerome, at this firestone, helped me when I needed a fix for my flat tire. First, his enthusiasm is unmatched, his optimism is refreshing, but his customer service is most impressive. I called at 6:00 p.m. to advise that I was stranded and waiting for someone to put on a donut to allow me to drive to their store which was 5 miles away. Well, 7 pm, closing time rolled around, and I was just ready to head in. Jerome and the Tech (A lovely man with dreadlocks) agreed to wait for me and fix me up. Jerome suggested a high mileage tire that was new and should improve my gas mileage. I was skeptical but the price was reasonable. Well, he was completely right, I get about 40 extra miles on a tank now (I replaced all four tires). Thank you Jerome and Mr. Tech for helping me out that evening.

This place just wants to take your money. Took it in because my check engine light was on told me it was a “misfire” charged me $120 for the diagnostic test for nothing. Instead, they were trying to charge me for other things that had nothing to do with the check engine light. Here we are now with my truck not even turning on. Do not bring your car here, they know nothing about cars I will never take my car to Firestone again.

I called first thing this morning because I needed to have an oil change done by today. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone with said that they were open till 7 and that they could take care of me. I explained to him that I would not be able to make it until 6 oclock and he said that was not a problem I didnt need an appointment but when I show up this afternoon at 6 oclock they tell me they cant do any more oil changes today. Thank you Firestone for your complete lack of customer service you have lost a customer and Ill be sure to share this with my family and friends

I have used this store for lifetime alignments on several cars. Stopped by on Saturday at 4:00 pm and luckily the alignment stall was available soon so they got right on it. Depending on how busy they are you can expect a wait. I am not sure if they set appointments. The have done quality work and I have left there satisfied with a precisely aligned vehicle. You always get a print out showing the as found settings for for me in and camber etc along with the newly corrected and in tolerance values they are set to. Worked with a service advisor named Jeff who was friendly and informative. He mentioned to me that it is a good practice to bring in the vehicle for alignment every 6 months or 5k miles or whenever you get tired rotated....or if you sense a problem like after hitting a lot hole or curb. Never have been told the frequency before. Great experience.

Ok so I read all the bad reviews! I was told new management was working on it. And rightly so! cant say there was a problem! Very friendly staff and good customer service. I was in a hurry to pick up my daughter and they were courteous enough to get my car in and out in 30 minutes for a tire change. When I got home I realized my spare was in the back and not underneath the car. Took it back and they got me all fixed and on my way.

This is a great place depending on who youre working with. I had a problem that bent two rims and threw my alignment way off. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Although it took two days for two rims due to unforeseen circumstances it was still a nice experience. They fixed my alignment and even helped me ship my rims off to my finance. Jerome was a huge help and Im so thankful for the kindness and wonderful service. Even if you have to wait they are right near Katy mills. If you have a problem they also try to fix it. I saw others come in where problems werent fully resolved as they thought and firestone made sure to take care of them asap. I can not thank these guys enough.

My car tire have a nail. He ask air lose fast or slow .i say slow and he tell me come back tomorrow. Because they close at five pm. I tell him right now only 3 pm. You have two hours to fix the tires . He said they cannot. And come back tomorrow. Monday i need work early morning. If my tires broken on the freeway who can help. Dont put your customers on dangers zone. Will killing people. If this is your wife, your son or your family. How do you feel. When i purchase a set of four tires i trust firestone. I buy all warranty for my four tires. He made me feel cannot trust firstone anymore. Sorry, anyway you really hurting me. No more firestone.

I made a appointment for 1-7-2017 for enterprise and the loudest guy that works there says I didnt and start being rude. I said I just talked to some one on the phone 2 different people and he said well a lot of people answer the phone when you called me I told you didnt have a appointment. He was just rude to me like I was lying about my appointment very loud then he told me to have a seat they are backed up and there was no technician available. No apologies and Im watching him be very nice to every other person that has walked in. I will note that another employee came and apologized for the mix up with my appointment he was very nice even though he wasnt the person being loud and rude.

I took my truck in for 2 new tires and a very bad wobbling ( my tire literally wobbled) . Matt was concerned I might have a steering rack issue or Tyrod problem from the wobble on one of my tires . At my surprise as a woman, I was told that no it was not a problem after being checked ! Wow an honest person at a tire establishment 😮! Yup and Matt even drove me and my child across the street, to the mall while they did my tires (4), not 2 as planned, because he found a better deal for 4, then the 2 I was going to replace. I think this was overall the best experience Ive had getting tires ever ! I give all the credit to Matt who I delt with though . So if you dont ask for him, I cant answer for the rest . This is who made my experience what it was . Thank you again, you will have my familys business again for sure ! This man deserves a promotion, or a raise, you dont find honest and customer friendly often .

I gave them 3 simple things to do on Saturday morning: state inspection, oil change, tire repair. I walked to Dennys for breakfast, then to the mall for a movie. Upon my return four hours later, then had done only the state inspection. They refused to do the tire repair because they said the nail was in the outside tread (not the side wall). And they refused to change my oil because my 14-year-old vehicle has a small leak, and they said they couldnt take the risk of being held responsible if all the oil leaked out and damaged the engine. Well, I know it drips oil, and I stay on top of it with bi-weekly top-offs. Thats my responsibility, not theirs. They can point it out to me, but then I expect them to proceed and do the darned oil change. So after wasting four hours of my day off, I still had to go somewhere else to get the tire repair and oil change. That was Discount Tire right next door, and they didnt have a problem with either service. Firestone has lost my business over this selective application of service. They get only two stars, for completing one out of three tasks.

Richi Sankar saved our weekend! We were on our way to Austin to meet friends we hadnt seen in forever and of course our tire blows on the freeway. Richi expedited the fix and made a couple suggestions and all for a very reasonable price with swift service.While he did this - there was a gentleman who was totally impatient and was disturbing everyone in the waiting area. Richi maintained his composure throughout while the guy kept telling him what the mechanic was doing wrong. Richi stayed the course and did everything he could to try and keep this guy happy - but there was no stopping his loud mouth and rude comments.Ultimately - Richi was a true pro and continued to help everyone in the shop while doing his best to handle this rude gent. I set appointment for new tires and went the following day for service. I was told they didnt have the tires I picked online but they had a better tire for an additional $40 a tire. My answer was no and the manager stepped up and did the right thing and gave me the tires for the price I was quoted online. So a big thanks to Jeremy

Charged the hell out of me for a small plug in my tire I was loosing about 5psi a week. And I had them rotate my tires. Guess what it was 50 bucks for the small flat repair. And they charged me a tire rotation and they didnt even do it. It was already dark when I picked my truck up so I didnt pay no attention to it when I checked next day. The tires were not rotated and I was charged for it. Mark your tires or any other services you wish to get from them to see if they actually do it. This place is a rip off. I will never go back. Discount tire does not charge you for a tire rotation even if you didnt buy tires from them just throwing that out there.

Two tires installed, done right, but not the tech could have been more efficient with his time, and done the work faster. Some of the tasks could have been done overlapping, like draining the oil, and writing down the tire info.

They finished my car alignment within an hour as promised. I recommend making an appointment so that you can get you auto complete in a timely manner because they do get walk in and the wait can be 2-3 hours.

Gave me a valve stem core and aired all my tires up as a courtesy. Bonus points for being quick. My wife also has had good experiences getting her oil change done. Not a lot of pressure for maintenence and whatnot.

Went in for a state inspection and was very quickly to attend me. Excellent service!

First time using this location. Took my wifes truck in for an alignment issue. We were notified that there was a brake issue on the front, this was not surprising as we have done a lot of towing over the past year. The brake job was performed, but the tech wanted me to drive test it because he thought something felt off with the brakes. I was a little put off by that, but not as put off when my wife noticed the next day the alingment was still out. The manager did resolve the issue on my wifes next day off. All in all I did not leave there with enough confidence to go back.

I had an appointment at 1:30@ 2:45 they finished only the front of my car alignment. Apparently the mechanic or whoever does the work feels only the front is meant to be aligned. The front clerk told me I had to wait for the guy to get back from lunch.Its 3:40 and theyre barely putting my car back on the alignment machine.Avoid this place.

I took my suv in for a tire repair. We arrived at 1:30pm and were told that time wait for repair would be 2 hours because he had two technicians at lunch. We walked to Katy Mills Mall and returned at 2:30. The guy calls me from waiting are and says “ bad news you have to buy a new tire, leak is in the side wall and that can’t be fixed”. That is the typical scam phrase to sell a tire! My boyfriend and I left there with over $180.00 bill!

Very helpful, couldnt do the rotation but made sure air pressure was checked and it was cold and windy

I was shafted by this Firestone and discovered that I was partly when I first left the store, and again about 2 months later (today). My first issue was that my tires were still unbalanced and felt un-aligned which were the two specific things I brought my car into this shop to have fixed. Ultimately, my tire imbalance and my cars not tracking straight after the alignment were a result of a defective tire. This defect was not mentioned to me, and if that is because it wasnt noticed, then this staff should seek remedial training to be able to notice basic fundamental tire issues. This is allegedly their specially... not hamburgers, not motor mechanics... just TIRES.To compound the problem this place caused me, they managed to screw up the only other job they are supposed to to correctly: put lug nuts back on. What did this Firestone do? FAIL AGAIN. They managed to cross thread one bolt on each of the two tires I removed today, causing one post on each tire to break off, so now Im driving with three lug nuts on each of two tires.Thanks Firestone. Im not interested in having these incompetent people touch my tires again, even if its to fix them. Ill eat the cost and have the tires replaced and bolt posts replaced by practically anybody else.Long story short, unless you enjoy being put in danger by incompetent tire techs, and/or if you like surprise issues like cross threaded bolts on your yours, DONT go to this Firestone.

So disapppointed with Firestone people and the quality of their highest quality tires as they say for my car. Nothing but trouble and lies all the way around. Never again. Ive been a customer for as long as I can remember. So sad!

Excellent customer service and in and out in a reasonable time.

I am super impressed with this location! I had tried 3 different locations on 3 separate days for an oil change. Each time I was turned away due to them being completely swamped. When I arrived at this location the attendant politely informed me they were only taking appointments but went out of his way to call other locations nearby to see if they could take my car. Unfortunately, 2 other locations nearby were also booked. As I began to walk away, I thanked him and asked a couple of questions concerning my car, the attendant spoke to one of the mechanics who eagerly stayed to service my car. He didnt have to, Im sure he was tired and wanted to go home. I not only got a much needed oil change, but purchased new tires. Thank you for the exceptional customer service!

Orginal Post: Very friendly staff. I was helped by TJ and me being the complicated customer... he helped me and was very patient and polite! He was amazing!But after going here again for a Tire Alignment.... dissatisfied with their mechanics at this location.Do not go here for a tire alignment! One of the worst places to go to.

I went for an inspection for my truck before my trip south of San Antonio. Truck failed because they said my tires were bad and I had a light out. They recommended me buying tires from them and changing the light and overall $891 charge. I declined the offer, and the guy who was ringing me up at the register seemed upset and he said to me “I can put money on your tires blowing out on the way to San Antonio!” No place of business should badger their customer into buying something or say things like that to a customer. I have anxiety they should be careful with what they say. Good news is that i didn’t have a blow out and that’s cause I drove for several thousand miles. I bought the brake light at Walmart and installed myself for around $8 and I bought tires a month later at discount tire. I won’t be visiting here again or any other Firestone company.
