Unit flooded and lost 1000 dollars worth of clothes and winter jackets. Customer service will not reimburse me my 80 dollars I paid for my unit. DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE. Also it says that there are ramps but they actually only have one outside to bring it to the door. Once you get there to the door you will be trying to move your stuff up and down flights of stairs. Literally go to any other storage it will save you time money and energy.

I had scheduled a self pickup for an out of state move. I got there and found the truck listed in the app, truck 1345. As I start the pickup process on the website from my phone, it says that Im awaiting approval, though Ive already been charged $390 for the truck.I went inside and got in line to sort things out, and as Im in line an employee walks in and tells the other employee (the one with the cheekbone piercing; this will be important later since she is the one I talked to) that they were missing trucks for all of the bookings they had.When it was my turn, I walked to the counter with the woman with the cheekbone piercing and told her about my self pick-up not working. She just said you were late. Granted, I was about 45 minutes late, but I had paid for the truck for the whole weekend for the out of state move. I told her that we had got caught up preparing for the move (considering my pregnant wife and I had just gotten to back to Indianapolis at midnight) and had been scrambling to get everything together. The woman said they didnt have any trucks. I asked her if she could do something to help and she eventually said no and that a regional manager would call me, which never happened.Why Im particularly upset with this specific woman was the people behind me in line had also reserved a 10 truck that wasnt there. The employee that they were working with was polite, apologetic, and trying to find a solution for them where the woman that was helping me was rude, dismissive, and didnt seem to want to help.I was already charged by them and still havent received a refund. I eventually drove 50 minutes to another location to pick up a bigger trick at a different u-haul location and I had to pay for that truck too. She didnt even tell me the truck was there; my wife and I had to call all over central Indiana to find an available truck. So all-in-all, u-haul couldnt even look for different trucks at other locations to help me. The woman that I had to work with was rude, dismissive, and lazy, even compared to the colleague just down the counter from her.Later that night I got a text that my order had been cancelled and never got that call from the regional manager. This was horrible service and Ill be working to file a formal complaint against this branch in particular.

Showed up to get a propane tank filled and was told I had to come back after 1 pm. I tired calling before I drove over there to confirm they could do it but nobody answered the phone and I was put on automated hold for 10 minutes. Terrible customer service.

They had plenty of moving boxes available in the store at great prices, and the woman working at the counter was exceptionally helpful. She even gave me an extra box which something shipped to their store arrived in!

I reserved a 15’ truck for a noon pick up time. When I arrived I was told the truck was supposed to be on its way and was about 20-25 minutes out. So, I waited. The truck didn’t arrive; however, a 20’ was returned during that time. The owner provided that truck as a substitute with a great rate for my troubles. He was super accommodating and made an issue right that he himself didn’t create. Would definitely recommend anyone to his location!

The people who work at this place are great!! About a year ago, in January, my girlfriend and I were moving cross-country, driving a U-Haul. The windshield washer fluid in the U-Haul stopped working and we could barely see because all of the salt from the road was caking the windshield. We stopped at this U-Haul place and they spent a while with us figuring out what was wrong. It turned out the fluid was getting frozen in a specific part of the hose that brings it to the windshield. They helped us pour boiling water on the hose until it worked again. Very friendly people and very helpful. Many thanks!!!

I rent frequently from this U-Haul and it is always a smooth experience. They always have the vehicle I requested available at the time I scheduled it for, and Im usually in & out in 10 minutes or less. Theyre also helpful and flexible when I need to make changes to my reservations. Their reliable vehicles and reliable service allow me to keep my business on schedule.

Prompt and friendly service! We returned a truck here after having moved from out of state where we had had terrible experiences trying to even GET the truck we reserved. This experience was 100% better and I definitely can recommend using this location! Even have a friendly dog in the waiting area that we got to pet. 😊

Trent and Will made my experience wonderful for a very unexpected needed trip to UHAUL! It was exceptional customer service especially during this time right now. I was very surprised to hear they were open NORMAL business hours during COVID-19, in regards to the concerns of the pandemic going on and the safety of their customers and staff.The only reason I am giving this is a 5 star review is for the customer service. I DO NOT approve of making the staff work NORMAL / LONG hours during this time. Shame on you UHAUL OWNERSHIP. Take care of your employees!!!!!!!!

The service was excellent and the GM- William Meguschar was speedy, accommodating, and he thoroughly explained any information needed or requested. The staff seemed very polite, professional and well trained. I will definitely use this location again in the future!

U-Haul updated their CRM and is having difficulty tracking reservations. I was sent to a different location than my original reservation (made two weeks ago) due to equipment availability to find my reservation was changed again to the Keystone location. I arrived at this store very frustrated after traveling 20 minutes to the first location and another 20 minutes to Keystone, I met with Duawayne Smith. He was very helpful and kind. He taught me how to set up the car tow and provided many tips. Im happy he was the associate I encountered. He sent me text confirmations that my reservation was all set and photos of the U-Haul equipment set up for documentation.The next two days I kept receiving calls from U-Haul regarding my reservation, stating I hadnt picked it up but they could see a payment was made and to call them back. When I found the time to return their calls I spoke to an extremely rude gentleman. I believe his name was Rob or Will? He spoke so quickly and rough in the voicemail I couldnt verify the name. When returning his call I still could not understand him. He was short and did not appreciate me calling him back to let him know I did inf act pick up the car tow. Hopefully the manager chooses to hire more employees like Mr. Smith and provides the recognition deserved when treating customers with respect.

This review is for you, Tracie!!!I went to location A, and they were out of trucks, but suggested nearby locations B and C. I called (local number) location B to see if there were trucks available. There were. I drive to location B. Get there, and they tell me she scheduled the pick-up at LOCATION D! What the hell! I have already wasted 45 minutes driving to location B. What am I going to do? Nothing, but drive to location D. I get there, and begin the process. I was small talking about my moving woes with Tracie. Tracie informed that anyone who writes a negative post about them is not allowed to come back. Well good. You gave me a truck where the steering wheel was turned 45 degrees to the left!!! I had to constantly keep adjusting the wheel at least 2-3 inches every few seconds so I could drive in a straight line. I am most certain others thought I was drunk with the way this truck handled. You dont want a bad review? Dont pull out the worst example and put it on display. That means you, Tracie. I dont care if Im not allowed back. Who would want to come back with dysfunctional trucks and nasty reps?

I went to this Uhaul to rent a trailer and the service was quick and prompt. As the GM went outside to hook up my trailer lights, we noticed the trailer lights were not working. The GM went above and beyond and tried fixing the wiring harness on my truck for a good hour. Although we were unsuccessful in getting it fixed, I am still beyond impressed with the General Manager. I have gone to multiple uhauls in Indy and this is by far the best one. I drive 25 minutes out of the way to come to this one.

My daughter and I picked her things up that had been in storage for over a year. Unfortunately almost everything even the microwave was covered in MOLD. So Im beyond disappointed and frustrated!

I was told this morning (1 day before I need to load up a rental truck and auto trailer for my one-way move across the country) that my auto trailer was not available at the location I requested and that the closest location with an auto trailer is Brownsburg (30 min in the wrong direction).I made this reservation with U-Haul over a week ago, you guys can do better than this. Luckily I made another reservation for the same equipment with a different company, who I will be going with.Lesson learned: always make at least a couple reservations with different moving truck companies if preparing for a big move with a non-flexible timeline.

We left prescription glass in the cab of the truck we rented and they were not helpful at all!! The only phone number is to a call center that has no idea whats going on at the individual stores. Renting the truck online seemed easy at first.. until we went to the location to pick it up. There we were told that we couldnt have it as long as we needed it because someone else had the truck reserved in the morning. What a joke! How about dont rent the same truck to two different people!

I had outstanding customer service from Thomas Witczak! I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I will not go anywhere else when I need to rent something from U Haul. I would highly recommend this place!

I called on Tuesday May 8th to make an appointment to have a hitch installed, was told all dates where blacked out and they would contact the store with the part needed and the date of my install request. Was told i would have a call back. It is now Friday May 11th and i heard nothing back. I called uhaul and the claim the could not find anything on it. But the claim they can see the hitch was order. I was promised a call back with in a few minutes from the store to confirm everything. Two hours later no call back called again and told the same thing. Another hour no call back this time i asked to file a complaint and transferred to customer service and got the run around there for almost 15 minutes. Finiay told someone would call me within 3 business days. You talk about the worst customer service

I have been here for 20 minutes. Waiting on them to find the truck I put a reservation in for onTuesday. Its saturday. They called me Thursday to change the location and neither location is available. I even have asked for a smaller truck and still not available.

I would give them a 1 star, but the initial service was o.k. The problem was that they charged me for a part of some sort that I did not buy. I contacted them via phone and it only went to a call center (multiple times). The call center said they would try to resolve it and contacted the local store... still no resolution. Essentially, they stole money from me by charging me for a part I didnt buy!

Ive been waiting long enough to leave a review, not counting the 10 mins I waited before writing the review. Upon pick up, I had to hunt down an employee to even get service. Then while showing me storage, another customer comes. The lady stops handling me and rents the gentleman a truck. Ok, now back to me. They have my size truck but its not checked in. So I rent a larger truck just to avoid the hassle. It literally took over an hour to get a truck. Now Im returning the truck. They Rushed me to have truck by earlier than my 24 hr period just to come in and wait longer!! While the owner sips her Gatorade and takes a personal call. I will never use this location again. Ive used u haul many times over the years, Ive NEVER had this kind of experience!! I typically reserve online and am out the door within 5 or 10 mins. Highly disappointed and POOR POOR customer service!!

I went in for my hitch installation appointment only to find out that just 20 minutes before my appointment this uhaul location had transferred my installation to castleton. I was never notified of the change. I only found out when I walked in and the guy at the front desk did not know anything about my reservation. He was very rude and simply said he could not help me because he was the only one working at the store. The manager was not there so there was no one else I could speak to. I found it to be extremely unprofessional of them to switch my installation reservation at the last minute without ever contacting me about it

Needed to fill three propane tanks. Came in and waited for a hour while the staffed helped people that were renting vehicles. Dont come here to fill propane unless you want to be treated like your business does not matter.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! USE PENSKE OR ANY OTHER LOCATION!This location put my family and I in danger multiple times due to a faulty piece of equipment. When I filed a complaint they said they did not believe the vehicle was actually faulty (I have cell phone pictures as proof). I continued to pursue my complaint and even received a call from a VP who assured me I would hear back from them. Go figure, this depravedly indifferent company never got back to me. They value a quick buck over their patrons safety.DO NOT USE UHAUL!

Lady on the phone had terrible customer service. Getting attitudes because i didnt want to reserve the truck, when i just called to get a quote in the first place. Then she didnt even know most the information I needed because she was so worried about getting my credit card info to reserve. Just really pathetic.

Made reservations online for hitch installation- they changed our date/ time and have literally been impossible to get ahold of to reschedule. 3 calls to customer service and we have gotten a the manager will call you, we cant find your reservation and endless time on hold. They could sure find our reservation to process the payment though! All we want is the service we paid for.

They called me on the way to pickup my 3 day in advance reservation and changed the location on me to a facility more than 15 miles away when they called me the night before and assured me that it would be there. Then, they were unwillingly to give me the $50 discount that they guarantee. You cannot expect me to change my plans last minute like that. Terrible, will never do business with U-Haul again.
