This shop is nice and clean and well stocked. They have just about any live bait you could want. The owner and workers are pleasant and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable. I have been in several times since they opened and never had a bad experience.Since Westside Bait & Tackle and The Bait Barn closed Indy really needs a good quality bait shop, Indy Bait & Tackle fills that void nicely.So please support your local small business, or you might not have a quality bait shop to go to.If you need bait or tackle this is the place to go.

I travel High School Road pretty frequently and I just happened to notice the sign and wanted to investigate. My wife and I stopped in and I found a good selection of fishing baits both live and artificial. And the prices are very competitive on everything Ive looked at and can compare to Walmart and other bait shops. And the best thing about this is that its conveniently located between our home and Eagle Creek Reservoir which is one of our favorite spots. Thank you for this wonderful bait shop.

Got some shiner minnows. Staff was very friendly and they had a good selection of other tackle. Nothing compares to Westside Bait, but since they closed, this was the best I’ve seen since in Indy.

Cant beat the atmosphere!

Very disappointed with the business etiquette. I specifically call July 5th to inquire to their hours and was told they would be open till 6pm. As I had to work till 5 and promised to take the kiddies fishing I thought this would be perfect. I pulled up to the door at 5:25 and business is all ready closed, even though the signs says holiday hours would be 6pm comfirming what the employee told me. Now I guess its off to walmart to buy bait, tackle and poles for the family. And small businesss wonder why they are being closed put by the large box stores!

Stood around waiting for 15 mins to be helped with only ONE other customer in the store who had already paid and was completely ignored the entire time was never greeted or asked if I needed help just ignored the entire time. Completely over priced as well. Had a rod and reel combo for 25 that you can get for 10 at walmart. All in all do not recommend and will never return again no matter how desperate I need any taxkle supplies
