We love coming to Saporito! (I had to scroll down and see who left a 1-2 star review. Weve been referring friends here for years and everyone has always loved it. Im reminded that some people live with a glass half empty and you cant win em all.) This family is adorable. They are teaching their kids how to work hard and be helpful and respectful - its pretty neat to see when we visit the store. Saporitos products are top notch - we have NEVER had one issue. They take the time to help as much as you want in store (they are very knowledgable about their products, so ask!), but allow you also to leisurely browse at your own pace. They will even get your order ready for you in advance for quick pick-up, or mail it to you. When we need a gift for an adult or a family, this is one of our go-to places. Hand-stuffed olives beautifully packaged, locally made unique pottery, specialty jams, high quality olive oil (the REAL stuff), and delicious variety sets of the infused vinegars... our friends LOVE getting Saporito as gifts! We have also taken our kids to two of their summer kids cooking classes - so much fun! When looking for a unique bday celebration for my husband, we even teamed up w/ Saporito for an after-hours tasting party. Katrine and her kids made the most delicious hors devours using their products, and then we had dinner next door at Blue Agave for some delish Mexican food. Huge hit! Highly recommend this shopping experience!

This family business makes you feel like you are right at home. You are greeted with friendly smiles by the couple AND their kids. Love this business and their oil too. It adds extra flavor to things you didn’t know you could. Love love love.

Saporitos is such a Gainesville gem. I absolutely love how their family is so involved, last time I went in I was helped by two of the kids and it was such a pleasant experience. You can tell even the younger ones know a lot about oil and vinegar. Their oils are superb, doubt I can ever use non-infused olive oil again in my life after discovering them. I also love that they showcase local pottery as well. Overall an amazing store to shop at with amazing products.

I have never been an olive oil and vinegar fan. I don’t even like olives! So....sipping flavored oils and vinegars in a “tasting room” wasn’t anything that appealed to me.When Saporito opened a few years ago, a friend invited me to give it a try. Wanting to support this new business and respond to my friend’s invitation, I gave it a try.I was overwhelmed with all the containers of oils and balsamic vinegars. Who knew there were flavors of olive oil and vinegar, not to mention SO many?! What exactly do you do with them?The owners, the Dunn family, were more than happy to educate and guide me in this new experience. It is a lot of information, especially for a newbie, however you will leave with much knowledge, new friends and hopefully some delicious oil and vinegar. I encourage you to visit Saporito and Experience the Flavor!

We were so thrilled to learn that there are two ways to get our favorite oils. One is curb side pickup like we did the other day, Keith was awesome and put right in our trunk. Also we love to go down to the farmers market and pick up to especially during this time of isolation. So many yummy oils and their details to safety, care and customer perception is exceptional. They are a family owned business who treats their customers like family!

I didn’t know much about oil and vinegar before this store opened, and still don’t, but I do know Saporito’s products are absolutely delicious! I can readily tell the difference between theirs (and so many choices!) and my grocery store picks. They’re superb. I tell people, “Try it just once. You’ll be hooked.” And that’s not saying anything about the health benefits. When there’s not a global pandemic going on, they offer affordable cooking classes, too. Lots of personal effort and integrity go into this family-owned store. Five stars, hands down.

Friendly, helpful people with amazing products. Always enjoy shopping here. The balsamic vinegars and flavored olive oils are now pantry staples in our home. We use at least one or two nearly every day for flavoring and enhancing our foods. Love that theyre so healthful as well as delicious!

Saporito is AMAZING! Not only is it fantastically family run, beautiful and clean, but their products are divine! A friend turned me on to this and I first tried their Tuscan herb olive oil paired with Lemon balsamic. I can’t get enough! I now always have those too and also the Persian Lime oil paired with the blackberry ginger balsamic. I put them on veggies, salads, fish, chicken you name it!!I credit these guys to the fact that I successfully finished Whole 30 diet today- and I’m not stopping because all I want is more salad with these on it! 😍

Saporito OVS is my favorite place to purchase gifts for others and myself! My husband and I love this place! I still havent figured out which of the oils is my favorite. I really appreciate the information about the benefits of high quality olive oil. Its even good for my cats! And the body care products are an unexpected delight. They make fantastic gifts too. Im really impressed with the range and quality of the products Saporito carries.

We received a bottle of Sapoito’s olive oil and one of their balsamic vinegar as a gift. Both were very good, but the one that really stands out to me is the vinegar. It TRANSFORMED my view of salad! (At least, while it lasted.) I’m not a huge fan of salad, but with this vinegar drizzled over it, I craved salads. Saporito’s balsamic vinegar is thick and rich, sweet, but not too sweet, with a ripe, aged flavor. Since it ran out I have tried other balsamic vinegars, and none of them can come anywhere close. They don’t even seem like the same product - because they’re not! Saporito’s is the real deal. The oil was wonderful, too, and I’m sure the rest of their products are equally good. Thank you, Saporito!

A lovely little speciality shop selling, well... oils, vinegar, and spices. But theyre all very high quality and will certainly add some flavor to whatever youre cooking. Definitely worth stopping in if youre at all interested in upping your cooking game, or cooking with fine ingredients in general. The prices are premium, but its definitely worth it.

Who do you know that would drive an hour for a jar of olives?… Me! We met the Dunn family a little over a year ago for a (my) surprise birthday, oil and vinegar sampling party. My wife set it up, all my buddies were there and we had a blast. Since then we have frequented their store many times and are always greeted with the same great customer experience. The kids run the show and are truly a joy to talk to. Great job mom and dad Dunn… We will see you soon I’m sure :-)

I normally go down to to Mount Dora, FL and buy from the Mt Dora Olive Oil Co. Saporitos is 1) hard to locate tucked around back in a small strip mall behind a fast food restaurant and inadequate signage 2) the selection and display leaves much to be desired 3) sample cups are almost useless in size being the size of a thimble 3) the samples are poured for you from a squirt bottle that should be dispensing hand lotion 4) you are personally FOLLOWED around the store by an overly eager sales associate instead of being allowed to leisurely browse and sample at will 5) and for all of this pleasure you are charged MORE per bottle than the other store when its all just repackaged by the same company! They are for my emergency refills, not for my shopping pleasure 😐

They have fantastic olive oil and balsamic vinegars. So many flavors. I only use their balsamic on my salad now and nothing else. I was told they are organic and GMO free. Definitely give the place a shot its worth it.

Just stopped into Saporito off of NW 43rd and was completely blown away by the quality of the oils and balsamic vinegars that they offer. Keith took the time to explain their bottling process as well as offering samples of anything that they had available. Check out this locally owned business if you get a chance.

This is not just a shop- this is an EXPERIENCE! Knowledgeable and super friendly staff and you can taste absolutely everything- a huge plus when you have no idea what Lavender-infused Olive Oil will taste like! I can always find just the right thing in Saporito, whether its amazingly healthy & fresh olive oil for my family or the perfect bread-dipping spices for a gift. The shop is tucked in behind Zaxbys and next to 43rd St. Deli, and is definitely one of Gainesvilles hidden gems!!

Addictive. Oils, balsamic vinegars and customer service. Once you go in, youll be hooked. I have about 30 bottles from visits here. Live in Chicago, but worked in Gainesville for 6 months. This was a weekly stop for me. Miss going in. Very friendly and knowledgeable family (even the youngest of their kids are experts in oils and pairings). If you are thinking about stopping in, dont. Stop thinking and just go. Your tastebuds wont regret it!!! (By the way, still love using the smoked olive wood on my popcorn. Addictive.)

We mistakingly thought it was a wine store. At first disappointed. But OMG! What a great suprise. I didnt know oil and vinager came in flavors. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Ask about their lemon hand moisturize.
