This business is for a specific market. If you have had a financial tragedy, they get you into a car. For this type of business the are so much better than most. They treated me really good on all levels.

I previously purchased a vehicle from Sun City back in 08 and wasnt too happy with them but here it is 2013 and Ive given them another chance and I am completely happy with the turn around of Sun City and its employees! I am actually thinking of purchasing an SUV in another week or 2... Give them a chance to correct old opinions but as with anywhere you go if you dont make your payments obviously they will come get the vehicle!

How does one get a car without a job or a job without a car? I was left in dire financial shape after the death of my partner. I had little left, neither less to replace the vehicle I lost with my best friend. I showed up to their office in tears, fearing I wouldn’t find a way out of the hole I felt dropped in. I’d bought a car from sun city years ago and my experience was poor (partly from my own actions or lack thereof), but I needed help and didn’t know own anywhere else to go with no credit and so little to give. My experience now has been completely different and deserves recognition. The changes they’ve made in staff and practice have changed my whole experience as a customer, that I’m now proud to be.The owner, knowing I had little more than a totaled car to put down (but a job if I could drive to it), worked with me as much as he could have even given my poor history. We established a payment plan that was realistic for me that I stuck to. The car I purchased needed a lot of work, which was to be expected at such a low price and was fully disclosed to me prior to purchase. It wasn’t in the best shape when I bought it but got me to and from work immediately so I could make a living and put my loss behind me.The mechanics did everything they could to make my car reliable and comfortable. They promptly made all the repairs we agreed on, working me into their already busy schedule. The trade ins’ they accepted kept them busy getting more cars into good shape for people like me, but they made time. Anything I needed fixed beyond our agreement was offered at a fair rate I could afford. Their attitudes were beyond compare to big dealerships. They know me by name and show genuine care about my safety and comfort. It needed so much work that it wouldn’t have been worth fixing unless someone genuinely wanted to drive it; a red 2003 Ford Mustang in a front end collision, traded in on someone else’s bad day. With my interest they worked hard to make someone else’s nightmare run like a dream for me.The office staff is compassionate and friendly, checking in to insure repairs were adequate and my needs were met in full. The only issues I’ve ever had with my car were from prior damage (that I was aware of) but fixed properly during the appointment we set and once on an emergency basis when something unexpected occurred. Even so, they did what they could as fast as they could to get me back on the road. They made sure my payment schedule was realistic for me, I understood my agreement and answered any questions I had along the way. They do everything they can to get people in cars! We need this in our community so people in poverty/crisis can help themselves out of it. On my worst day I felt defeated, that no one would accept what I had and allow me the resource I needed to thrive. They gave me some faith and some hope, allowing me an opportunity if I could be honest and accountable. The only negative comments I’ve seen or heard are from people not making their payments and not communicating with the staff.. theyve been willing to work with me if my check were a day late or lost a day of work from illness. Just do what you say you will and so will they. They got me in a car I love, I can afford and meets my needs. They have become a dealership I look forward to working with. They treat me like a person, not an account number. I no longer dread making my car payments. I go in person just to say hello and thank you, as the way they’ve treated me has changed what I can do for myself. I’m really impressed with their progress as a business and the impact they make in our community (and my home) economically. If your looking for a way to help yourself get a reliable vehicle with poor credit history but can be accountable with your payments to build some, this is the only place. Thanks guys, sincerely. We need you in our community and am so glad that your here for people like me, the imperfect/human kind. Sometimes we just need a hand up. You were mine. Please share this with your staff. It’s an honest review.

This is by far one of the worst places the manager assistant, Tori doesn’t know how to speak to people with respect. Especially to vets! I’ve had money go missing from my car. They have called an held my Fiancé hostage after asking him to come in for a different reason,(liers) to be honest you WILL have a better experience with another dealership.. and I mean ANY. I hope somebody does something about this crooked business. Maybe if their cars worked they wouldn’t have to trick people into a contract.

Total crooks. Their mechanics are on prison work release programs.. Fact! They charge up to 8 times the blue book value. Ari (the middle eastern immigrant owner) took advantage of my wife when he basically robbed her on a sale. The sent her driving away in a car with tires so bald the steel belts were showing. The struts were shot. Total death trap. As a veteran, I am insulted that some immigrant comes to America and robs citizens. If Florida lawmakers wont pass buyer protection laws, they need to be voted out. And we need to stand up and force the dishonest immigrants out.

Avoid like the plague. Vehicles are in incredibly poor condition and they want to charge 3 to 4 times what they are valued. They tell you nothing about what is wrong with them, and if you happen to find one worth buying they jack up the price to make it rediculous. Owner simply wants to soak up every penny he can from people who dont know better assuming they wont look for a better deal.

Horrible experience with this company. Looked at vehicle for sale and offered them double the price if financed but was turned down because vehicle was a hybrid and he wanted it gone so he didnt have to deal with it. Other vehicles are not worth the price he is asking and very run down.

As a past customer I was strongly disappointed but now would encourage anyone to give them a second chance. I recently purchased a used car from this agency and have been quite impressed with their degree of change. The service is fantastic, the cars are reasonably priced, and any problems with my new Sentra that have occurred have been taken care of promptly (thought there wasnt much to be done). Amy and the other ladies in the office staff are efficient and polite. The mechanics have kept the interior of my car clean and the parts in good shape. This business has become more honest and reasonable in sales practices. They have earned a rough reputation I am aware but have shown great positive efforts to turn this around. After I own my car, I will be looking into buying a truck with this same company. Thank you Sun City!

Stopped to see if we could pay one of their techs to put air in my tire that was flat. I stopped at several stores and none of them had a air compressor so I figured since I seen several air hoses strung through the shop it would only take them a second. The first guy we spoke to was so high on whatever he was on, he could barely hold his eyes open and his head up and couldnt even have a conversion. So I decided to walk in and speak to a person that was not high as a kite. The woman at the front desk was the next person I came to. I began to tell her I was from Ocala and had stopped several places with no luck of finding a air compressor, and I was far from home. This RUDE lady began to get loud telling me, sorry about your luck, I dont know what to tell you. I stopped her and said Maam, Im not wanting it done for free, I just have a flat tire and need to get back to Ocala. I will pay whatever it takes. She continued to be very rude and refused to help me. So I walk out and see several guys/techs now standing out front in the shop and they proceed to tell me how rude the owners and the lady at the desk is and how they do not recommend anyone giving this place any business. The techs began to apologize for the owners decision to turn away a potential customer. Shame on them! I am actually in the market for a new vehicle and a simple act of kindness would have potentially turned me into a new life long customer. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! Good luck to anyone considering to do any kind of business with this awful place.

I bought a cash car from them for a total of $1,600. It was a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant, listed for $1,000. I asked if they could do $900 and the lady said no problem. I went in to buy the car and she said that they were going to check the oil and fluids while I signed a few papers. About 10 minutes later the car got parked up front. After signing a ton of papers I was ready to pay for the car, they bumped the price up $200 for checking the fluids. I also paid almost $400 for my first tag, and the rest for tax and dealer stuff. The car was completely destroyed not even two weeks later. It ran hot on the turnpike on my way to Boynton Beach. It broke down about 15 miles from ft pierce. I slept in the car for 2 nights trying to cope with the fact that the car would never run again without another engine. I scrapped the car in ft pierce for $200 and got back home in Gainesville. Ever since then things have gone down because the job I just got after buying the car was required because I delivered Chinese food. Cant do that job without a car, so ever since the car broke down in March Ive been homeless. I almost couldnt even scrap the car because the title wasnt clear. Apparently they put a lien on it, but the guy from the scrap yard took my word for it. Also, I went back there to get my money back that I paid for my license plate, and they wouldnt do it. Instead, they ordered the tag 3 days later and gave it to me. The lady even asked me when I went to get the tag, if I wanted the other key to the car, knowing that I didnt have it anymore. Ridiculousness is what youll find here.

My family has bought multiple vehicles from sun city auto sales throughout the last 13 years. We test drive the vehicles first and care more about what it runs like then what it looks like, so we haven t had many problems. All the problems we have had were easily fixed within a reasonable amount of time. We also never had problems with them about money but that s because we make our payments on time and didn t get repoed. Insurance was never a problem either as its the law to have it anyways so its better to just keep it, its for our benefit anyways and at one point it did help because we got hit and instead of paying thousands we paid 250 for our repairs. I would recommend sun city to any one who needs a vehicle. Their very flexible and will work with you the best they can.

WARNING! They take advantage of naive people! My mother desperately walked on to their lot and they put her in an 03 Honda Civic with 230k plus miles on it, and not even in fair condition. She ended up financing the car for 10,000 dollars, and with the very high interest rate she will end up paying over 14,000 for this car. They are not willing to help in anyway at all. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
