Went there to get a part for an old truck. They found a part number for it but it was no longer available. They helpful doing this for me and advised me where I might find it.

Bobby Holcy was an excellent sales men he did an amazing job with providing me excellent customer service made me feel very welcomed And happy that I decided to shop there with getting me my first payment car he went above and beyond to satisfy what I was looking for and with reasonable payments I’m so glad I stopped there to shop for a car.

Did not have much of a selection of trucks. What they did have was overpriced.

BEWARE OF DAVIS CHEVROLET SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Davis Gainesville Chevrolet service department are shady at best. Total incompetence in the service center! I was assured by the service writer Mr. Roark that he had a really smart guy in the service department working on the issue? (That should have told me something) Took my college students car for a brake issue that a smaller company could not address or figure out. They recommend us try the local Chevy Stealership. Thats the only reason I went to Davis Chevy in the first place. The other place thought it was the ABS brake computer module (That needs to be programed by a dealer) but they couldnt verify that because there were no computer fault codes. So I took their advice and brought it to the Stealership. Davis Chevrolet service department told me the steering sensor was the cause of my brake issue? But their the professionals. They also told me my electric engine fan was bad and needed a new switch and programmed. The estimate was $1531.00. I thought... Are these issues gonna fix my brakes? Again these guys are supposed to be the best mechanics. Well...After $1500+ I didnt even get 1 mile away and the brake issue came back. Turned around and re-dropped off the car for the same issue I went there in the first place the brakes! They look again and called and said that the bearing were bad and more front end parts (Steering) on the right front needed to be replaced for another $1100+. What about the brakes? Without a computer or fault code THEY WERE LOST! Needless to say I picked up the 2013 Chevy Sonic without them getting another dime. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A BUNCH OF MONEY from this SUB-PAR service center at Davis Chevrolet. This isnt a rant because someone hurt my feeling at this dealership. This is a word of advised so they dont sucker you into repairs that didnt have anything to do with the original problem. UP CHARGING CUSTOMERS is where they make their money! STAY AWAY FROM DAVIS CHEVORLET IF YOU WANT TO GET A LEGITIMATE AND HONEST REPAIR ON YOU VEHICLE! Wasted $1500.00 on issues that had nothing to do with the brakes!

Mark was amazing called me within one minute of submitting a request on line for more information.I had an approval at another dealership and felt I was being forced into a car they wanted to get rid of.Mark did not do this he listened to me and assured me he could get me into the car I wanted and he delivered exactly what he said and more.Extremely professional courteous and extremely patient.I would definitely recommend him to anyone and I know when Im ready for another car I will be here with Mark once again!!!Thank you Mark your amazing!!!Finance manager Mike was also amazing and hilarious.

Cant work on Cadillacs anymore

I go in to the service department to replace the battery in my key fob and the boy there says he doesnt no how to do that, prints out instructions and hands them to me. Cadillac service department...Cadillac key fob....if they dont know...and they service Cadillac vehicles that doesnt say much about their ability to service the mechanics of the vehicle.

I love the service department. Jana is so helpful and so friendly. I visited this service department and the service department in Ocala and Davis is by far superior than Sullivan Cadillac. Both places were busy when I stopped by, Sullivan acted like I was a waste of time and Davis stopped what they were doing and acknowledged me and asked how they could help me. Naturally I scheduled my service appointment with Davis and today when I went to my appointment they did not disappoint. They were on top of things went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Great Customer Service

Their labor costs and service charge is far too overpriced in my opinion. I also when it for service two months ago and had to go back in for the failure of a part that they interacted with. They denied that they interacted with the part, so instead of it being being covered under their 6 months service and parts warranty I was charged full price for the repair and replacement of the part. I was very dissatisfied and will now have to find a new mechanic

Warrant Not Honored – Gainesville/Davis Mazda is a rip off. Consumers Beware!Took our Mazda 3 into the Mazda dealer in Gainesville for service as we had a problem with water leaking on the floorboards, carpet, windshield, seats, and truck/spare tire compartment after a heavy rain...and theres a lot of rain in Florida. The car is 2 years old, with only 8,800 miles...and in tip-top shape cosmetically...and has never been in an accident. It is cared for and still under warranty. The water leakage problem started some 5-6 weeks ago...…and has caused mold to appear in various places throughout the interior. I feel sick when I drive the car. The service manager at the Davis Mazda dealership... located on main street in Gainesville, FL, told me that they could not fix the car, nor could they even look at it until I paid to have a diagnostic fee to determine if the water leakage was covered under the warranty.Really? They want to charge me to examine the car for an obvious defect that is causing water to leak into to the interior of the car. What a rip off. I called the Corporate office and they gave me the same run around.There are numerous people complaining about this same problem on the Internet... so I am sure that Mazda is aware of it. Go elsewhere to buy a car. My advice is to stay away from the Davis dealership period...horrible customer service... and a rip off. Mazda does not honor its warranty. Shame!We will be trading our water-logged Mazda in and will never buy or own a Mazda again. These cars are junk. Consumers beware. Stay away from this dealership and away from Mazda.Im stuck with a soggy car... and mold growing on the interior. The service manager told me there was water on the floorboards, water in the truck where the spare tire is located. Yet told me that I had to pay a fee to have the care evaluated. No way.I will say this… the mold…It is negatively affecting my health and I start coughing every time I drive the car... There are numerous complaints about leaky Mazdas on the Internet. Yet they are telling me that they will not fix the problem even though the car is still under warranty.Ridiculous. I am very mad... and just wanted to pass the word on to some of you higher ups. Corporate was absolutely no help...Mazda could care less about people. Mazda is all about the almighty $.
