We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Gainesville Kitchen and Bath. We are very pleased with the results. Our kitchen is now much more modern and brighter. Mike and his staff were very responsive to our needs and concerns and worked diligently on our project during the ups and downs of the covid situation. Their expert advise in the planning process made our vision even better than we imagined.Nicole J. was our coordinator and was frequently communicating with us throughout the entire project. Ryan and Tyler were extremely attentive to all of the details and craftsmanship which included cabinet installation, tile-work, countertops, and lighting. We would highly recommend their services.

Gainesville Kitchen and Bath remodeled two bathrooms for us with new vanities, sinks, faucets, hardware and mirrors. Our designer was Lisa Tatum. She was truly a pleasure to work with, professional and very knowlegable. She guided us step by step through the remodeling process. We think she is a real asset to the company. It was truly a pleasure meeting and working with her, and the rest of the other peoplewith the company, also. The bathrooms were completed in a timely manner and to our complete satisfaction. We would recommend this company to anyone who needs a bathroom remodel.Judy and Hal

We are entirely pleased with the two bathroom remodels and kitchen counter upgrades. After five months we have what feels like a brand new home. The quality of products and workmanship is outstanding. I especially like the kitchen seamless quartz counter tops. That was a tricky job around 2 windows. Thank you Ivan. And somehow my kitchen is bigger now that the sink and dishwasher were swapped. Any delays, and there will be delays in a project this size, were handled professionally and we were kept in the loop, thank you Tyler.

I usually never write reviews but after dealing with Gainesville Kitchen and Bath I just had to.We wanted to do a kitchen and floor remodel. We talked to several well-known businesses in the surrounding area but were easily sold on Gainesville Kitchen and Bath due to their knowledge and customer service. It was like talking to the good side of the family. There were no gimmicks, no pressure and no hassle whatsoever. We started the process with only having a small idea of what we might want and were completely open to suggestions. Sam stepped in as a designer with a keen eye and led us down a road that not only made sense but was in our budget. Sam didn’t try to push expensive items on us. At times he would help us select something just as good or better and cheaper than something we had picked out. He would give us pros and cons for the cheaper and more expensive choices and then let us decide.During the design process we decided to update the fireplace area with a brick wall and wood mantle. Sam meet every new design challenge with ease. He answered every question and concern with professionalism and care as if it were for his own home. The remodel began with Tyler, Mike and Cody. Tyler is a type A personality which is perfect in his profession. Tyler left no detail undone and is a true craftsman and artist. Unforeseen challenges are part of any remodel I’m sure and Tyler met every one with out flinching. Tyler was able to rectify every situation with ease and brilliance.During our remodel COVID-19 was near its peak. Many companies were delayed and or not able to get products/material. Tyler and Mike who happen to be the owners of the company have been in this business for many years. Mike was able to get in touch with contacts from the years of experience and pull something together to make each and every situation work out with a much more minimal delay. Before the end of our remodel, since it was going so well and below budget (unheard of) we decided to throw Tyler and Mike a curve ball. We decided to update our guest Bath at this same time.Again, Tyler, Mike, Cody and new installer to the team Ryan meet this challenge with ease. In the end everything was done better than we could have imagined or envisioned. We enjoyed working with a local company who went above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about Gainesville Kitchen and Bath. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for any remodel weather it be big or small.I wouldn’t hesitate to call them tomorrow to do business with them again. In the end, all members of the Gainesville Kitchen And Bath team will definable be looked at by this happy customer as the good side of the family.

We went with Gainesville Kitchen & Bath for our kitchen remodel and are thrilled and thankful we did. After talking to and working with other companies, it was the customer service at Gainesville Kitchen & Bath that sold us. They made possible every idea, concern, and request we presented. They sought to beat competitors’ estimates and they did it all with professionalism and care. It was a priority for us to keep our business local and it certainly paid off—fewer middlemen, shorter wait and fewer delays. I highly recommend and will use this business again in the future.

When it comes to Tyler Chalfin of Gainesville Kitchen & Bath, words cannot capture what a remarkable, hardworking gentleman were talking about here---he is a diamond in the rough, an exemplary model of what a great contractor should be. He has so many great attributes but Id have to say his best are honesty, communication, compassion, and an uncanny ability to connect to his customers and provide exceptional commitment to service. Tyler wears many hats, working ridiculous hours exhausting himself to ensure all his clients are taken care of and that every job is done to the best of his teams abilities---he is tireless and pours himself into his work without any much-deserved reprieve, and does not get the praise he deserves. Perhaps GKBs greatest asset and one of Gainesvilles best contractors in general, he is made of gold and will always have my utmost respect & admiration. I am proud to support his business, and he deserves all the happiness & success his heart can hold. I give him five stars, two thumbs way up, and maybe even a few chocolate-chip cookies for extra good vibes, haha.

Our overall experience with Gainesville Kitchen and Bath was very good. We purchased a condo a couple of years ago when our daughter started grad school at UF. As you can see from the before picture it had original circa 1980 cabinets and counter tops that needed upgrading. Since we live many states away I was a little apprehensive about taking on this project and not being there to make the material selections and supervise the work. After doing some internet research I called GK&B and discussed the project with Mike the owner. He was very helpful and assured me they had successfully completed many projects like this. The project was completed in the time frame they committed to. The work was done well. They installed a temporary sink while we waited for the counter tops to be delivered and the addressed a few minor issues that did come up in a timely manner. All in all, it was a very good experience and I would recommend them.

We had our master bathroom remodeled and it is absolutely perfect! They saw my vision and made it a reality. Tyler and his team were such a pleasure to work with. They always arrived in a timely manner and were so polite. Any question I had was met with a knowledgeable answer and a smile (and I had a lot of questions!). They kept me in the loop so I was always up to date with their progress, which was fantastic. Looking into doing our kitchen in the near future and will definitely be calling Gainesville Kitchen & Bath again!!

Had an amazing experience with GKB! I made a lot of changed once they started. I was worried but it wasn’t a problem and they handled it so well! The bathroom looks amazing, they kept me informed on when and what time they would be arriving. The communication was great! Several months after they finished I realized the temperature was much colder then it should be (it was a guest bath so I never use it) and they quickly came to adjust the valve on the faucet. I am very appreciated of their attentiveness, quality and communications

My husband and I recently moved into a new house with an outdated kitchen. We wanted to keep the floors and to paint the existing cabinets and the walls ourselves. (Well, my husband did: he gets the credit...he did all that work himself and did so beautifully.) However, we were looking for a company to install new lighting, countertops, and backsplash and to remove the existing wallpaper. We also wanted to replace a bill-paying desk with a custom cabinet. After discussing the project with several other companies, we decided to go with GK&B. This was in large part because of Sam, their designer, who spent a lot of time speaking with us about our ideas and what would work best. It’s also worth noting that he never tried to convince us to let GK&B do the work that we preferred to do on our own, in contrast to some of the other companies we spoke with. The quote was provided in a timely manner and was reasonable, but, perhaps more importantly, we were comfortable with them. They didn’t pressure or condescend to us, and they listened.Once the work began, we primarily worked with Tyler. He is approachable, accessible, and easy to talk to; he kept us informed and was always quick to reply to questions or concerns. I never had to call more than once or to wait more than a couple of hours (at most!) for a reply. He also proactively kept us aware of the scheduling and any surprises or issues that arose. A few surprises inevitably did arise – the wallpaper was ridiculously difficult to take off, we had a strange hole by our kitchen drain (not caused by GK&B), and we needed more backsplash tile than expected. Tyler devised solutions to each of these problems quickly and was at pains to ensure that we were satisfied with the outcome of each as well as with the entire project generally. (Indeed, he did some wrangling to get the extra backsplash tile delivered very quickly.) Moreover, Tyler was cognizant of the difficulties of living in a home with young children with a partially demolished kitchen. He set up the schedule to minimize the disruption and to get us operational as quickly as possible. (I believe that we were without water and the ability to cook for less than 24 hours.) He installed a temporary sink, which allowed us to maintain some normalcy and to continue to cook for ourselves.Ultimately, we couldn’t be more pleased. Our new kitchen came out beautifully (!!), and we had a great experience with the entire GK&B team. In fact, we’ve already spoken to them about re-modeling our master bath, although it’ll take a few months until we’re ready to do so. In short: I highly recommend GK&B. There will be hiccups along the way – and after three experiences of varying magnitude with interior renovating/re-modeling, I’ve concluded that this is just is how things go – but GK&B handles them with grace and works hard to ensure their customers’ satisfaction. On top of that, they do fantastic work.
