The bagel sandwiches are absolutely fire. Humble wood-fire, that is... :)I come at least once a week for breakfast, never had a bad breakfast. I dont think I can even think of another establishment I have gone to THAT frequently that didnt mess up or have an off day. That is seriously impressive! The everything bagel is my personal favorite, but the asiago, salted rosemary, and pretty much everything else on the menu are also to die for!

The open-faced Nova was bold and fresh with complex flavors, accented by pickled onion and microgreens. The bagel itself is a unique bagel; it has a nice crust to it and it was very good. We also tried the bagel sandwich which was so savory and delicious! The staff was friendly and ordering was simple. This place can get pretty busy so its best to stop by early.

Their bagels are amazing! I generally get the locks plate with the everything bagel, complete with fresh lemon dill cream cheese. The last time I visited I got a dozen to go assorted. Every one of them was terrific. Definite honorable mention to the jalapeno bagel.

Five stars solely for the hot, soft, chewy, cheesy goodness that is the Asiago bagel with cream cheese. Whenever I’m at the 4th Ave food park in the morning, it’s my go-to order, it’s so good. I don’t even want to try anything else because I’ve found my breakfast perfection. Maybe in a few years I’ll come back for lunch instead and try something else, but I’m quite content to keep ordering the bagel of my dreams.

One of the best bagel sandwiches Ive ever had. The shiitake mushroom bacon is incredible! The courtyard next to the establishment was so beautiful that day, the sun was shining, and someone was playing wonderful blues guitar right next to me. This is now one of my favorite spots!

Humble Wood Fires bagel Fridays are just one more reason to get excited about Fridays! They have the best bagels in town, hands down. Bagels are obviously very fresh as they are so soft and tasty. Toppings are incredible and there are many vegan options.Staff is incredibly friendly as well.If its not Friday, grab a pizza! Those are incredible and very fresh too. Customize your own with their awesome options or choose from a delicious one on the menu.10/10 would recommend

The pizza tastes really good! But the reason I gave it 3/5 is because of the size and the price. $11 for pepperoni and $12 with added basil. It was my first time here and I was soo surprised by how small it is. It’s ridiculously expensive for 2 pizza’s for this size. Great pizza, but probably won’t be back because of the size and price.

Delicious and nutritious. Love, love, love the quality ingredients and vegan options. I have lived in both Detroit and New York - Florida style bagels are the best. I cannot day enough good things about the parfaits and the artisan pizzas. This little spot is a gem.

I like their breakfast sandwiches, and am happy they now have a brick & mortar spot in 4th ave food park. But I ordered their biscuits and gravy yesterday and was both surprisingly and thoroughly disappointed.I respect them for trying a different approach, and am giving three stars because of prior experiences. But that b&g needs to go.It has a yeast smell, which piqued my interest. Gravy is a bit different looking, with some scallions and I think mushrooms in the mix. So I was interested and open minded when I took my first bite. I love new things, especially with classic dishes.Nothing worked. It was overly salty. Gravy was bland. Biscuits were confusing, lacking a center of flavor. This either needs to go back to the drawing board or be removed from the menu. That’s my opinion at least, and I say this candidly only to be objective in my personal feedback.Customer service was surprisingly lacking as well. Checkout girl didn’t seem to understand the fact that I had questions, and barely took me seriously when I was looking for helpful insight. Guy handing me my bagged order practically shoved the grease-stained bag in my hand, again lacking warmth. I would have returned to ask for the fork and napkin that they forgot to include, but I happened to have a spare in my car.Not a good experience. I will still go back to give another chance, as one experience should rarely define a restaurant. But definitely some red flags.

Had the egg and cheese bagel sandwich with shiitake mushroom faux-bacon. First, the bagel was delicious and soft/chewy with the hard crust. An ideal bagel. Second, the egg was locally sourcee, fresh, and properly cooked. Third, the cheese was NOT your typical slice of yellow/orange processed cheese-like food. It was real yellow/white cheese perfect for the sandwich. Finally, the shiitake mushrooms were a first for me, in that motif. They were absolutely delicious and now I wish that their use in this manner was ubiquitous. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I must not be the only one to think so since the next five strangers to order after me also ordered an egg and cheese bagel sandwich.

Review for the bagels!! Im a Philadelphia Jew and a lot of my growing up revolved around bagels. Ive really missed them in Gainesville and gave up getting excited to eat a bagel here years ago. Now, Humble Wood Fires bagels arent exactly NY or Philly style, but theyre not trying to be and theyre GOOD. Chewy but not too dense, great flavors. I didnt like them the couple times I had them when they were just available Fridays, and I dont know if they tweaked the recipe a bit or the texture just grew on me. Also love that the outdoor ordering/pickup window is so easy/good for a pandemic.

I did not enjoy the breakfast that I received this morning. The sausage was so dry that it made my mouth dry. The eggs tasted like oil and were Brown and crispy. I dont recommend this place for breakfast. Sorry, but It was not worth the over $5 price.

Humble wood fire pizza was delicious. We had it while at First Wednesdays downtown. To have a pizza that good from a pizza truck is a testament to their skills. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the cost for the size of the pie. All in all i will visit them again.

Can you believe that this is my favorite pizza place in town? Its true. The service is wonderful and the employees truly are humble people who work hard and cook you the best pizza possible. Yesterday there was a misunderstanding on my order and they fixed me right up. Service aside, which is wonderful, they have the best tasting pizza in town. I never get tired of it.
