Unbelievably rude older man in the eye glass department. We brought a pair of broken eye glasses in to inquire about repairing them and he had absolutely no interest in helping us. The man was extremely rude an dismissive to my wife.Target has really gone down hill over the years but this was the last straw we will never shop there again...

I love the Drive Up option for getting my Target items. Im finding, just like many places, some things are in short supply.The customer service is always terrific.

The employees at Target were very kind and helpful when answering the questions I had about specific products. Everyone here is always so welcoming and friendly. Someone even told me to have a nice day when leaving the store. I had questions about a specific shoe that wasnt in my size. Usually at other stores they say, We dont have any more sizes of that in the back of the store. Everything is on display. Without even checking. The employees today actually checked to see if they had the items I was looking for in stock instead of immediately turning me away. Great staff members!

There were only three checkout lanes open from what I could tell, in addition to self-checkout. Lines were extremely long, and the cashier was rude and sarcastic throughout the entire transaction as well as the two customers in line before me. The girl cleaning the shopping carts was doing a great job thoroughly cleaning cart after cart and greeting every customer upon entry. She was the only friendly employee there, in addition to being productive.

Target is awesome! Archer Road Gainesville workers are always so friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and well-stocked. Drive-up is super quick and easy. I love how Target is FOR the community and supportive of marginalized people. I love you, Target! Keep rocking!

I needed the staff to check to see if the product I was looking for was in the back by any chance since there was none out on the shelves. It took me over 10 minutes to find someone. The store was definitely understaffed. When I finally found someone, the person I spoke to was so busy shopping for the online orders that he seemed annoyed when I asked for help. He even tried to dismiss me by sending me away to the aisle where the product I was looking for was located. VERY UNSATISFIED with my experience. Next time Ill drive 3 minutes down the road to go to Publix instead.

I have lived in Gainesville going on 3 years now. We have plenty of targets and other store but this target is the worst in Gainesville. Anytime I need or want something I know Targets carry, I go to this one to pick it up as it is the closest one to me. But oddly enough, they are always out of everything. Every. Single. Time. They have a starbucks inside as many Targets do, and even the starbucks in this target is constantly always “out” of something or a machine is broken. I have yet to have a single experience in this Target over the past three years where they actually have in stock what I need. On top of that, any time I ask for help by one of the employees, which I try not to do because I do not want to add any more stress on the workers, they are rude and most cannot even point me in a direction of the store I need to be. Awful products (because there are none) and awful staff.

Finding the products online was easy. The step by step process letting Target know I was on my way to pick up order. The speed at which my order was delivered to my car. The designated parking area for pick up.

Target has so many incredible deals to browse and a really friendly staff. I always enjoy browsing all the deals on Target Circle before going into the store. The store is always so clean. I do also sometimes do the curbside pick up. Its so easy.

Target mobile ordering with curbside pickup is super fast and easy. Dont even have to get out of the car to get your order. Just show up and follow the directions in the app, bing bang boom, your order is in your trunk. Super easy.

We order online and are told our merchandise is ready for pickup. Get to the store check in online that we are there and after waiting a damn hour decide to call the store. The front desk tells us they are not coming out due to it raining and its not safe for the employees. I guess there was no need to let the 20 vehicles waiting for their merchandise know they werent coming. Besides I guess its safer for the customer to go out in the rain and go in the store with a pandemic. Total BS!!!

Clean and well stocked store.

Many of the reviews on here state that pickup takes a long time. It really does. I suggest if you order pickup that you do not do curbside pickup because on some days youll be hit with only 3 associates working the curbside area. Today this happened and we waited 40 minutes for our stuff to come out. I overheard associates complaining that there were only 4 of them for the 20 cars waiting. Target really needs to implement a line system to indicate to the customer their # in line once they arrive so they can determine whether to wait or go inside themselves

Normally I have really good experiences at this Target, but today I went in to buy a bunch of things I needed for a donation drive. When I was going through self checkout, the employee moved locations to stand behind me and hovered the entire time I was scanning like I was trying to steal. She was noticeably looking at my screen as I was scanning and it was honestly a really upsetting experience. I’ve never had anyone act like this in self checkout, especially not with me on camera and just buying a bunch of toothbrushes and soap. Felt very disrespected, and I asked her a couple of questions before I checked out too and she was short and rude. Very disappointed.

I had some essentials and miscellaneous items I needed and target has it all! Robert at the checkout was a great experience - explained savings, deals and all around very friendly to everyone!

Quick & efficient service

Target in gainesville is ridiculous. the drive up takes forever. sometimes i wait 30 minuets or an hour or more just waiting for them to bring it out, and sometimes the associates working are pretty rude about “when to time the code because there’s an expiration on it” when i literally wait like 30 minuets or more for them to bring it out! gainesville needs more than just one target and also more people need to work for the drive up section so that people are not waiting an hour just to get their things.

We are doing all of our shopping by delivery or curb side pick up. This target store does a great job for everything! Our curb side pick up works great. Employees are efficient, and on target! We appreciate as seniors, this extra service, so that we can maintain our safe distance during this trying time. The store did not have some items that were on my target circle offers and was disappointed I was unable to locate them. Also Online Prices at Target.com were lower then in the store on some items. They priced matched later on and I got the better price but had to drive back to the store.

I feel safe going into the store with the mandate and I appreciate all the hard work that the employees put into making it a safe environment.

They lost my online package (and did not inform me) that I have been waiting months for to be out of stock. Thanks Target.

Target has nice merchandise (though it can be a touch pricey) and the store is kept clean and orderly so shopping here is a good experience every time I go. The employees at the Gainesville Target are also always friendly and helpful any time I need assistance and resolving issues, asking questions, or returning merchandise is never a hassle.

I love target and I always shop from there but last week when I was at this archer location I needed help and I was sent to this guy name Anthony from tech service who had a terrible attitude. He was not willing to help me at all.

They held an item that I was coming from out of town to buy. BUTTT when I initially called the store I talked to an employee in the electronics department and he clearly wasnt interested in my questions about your price match policy and kept giving me sarcastic answers and even told me to shop on Amazon to make this transaction so much more easier for him. I asked to get transferred to the service desk and he hung up on me. I called back and asked for a manager and I wish I remembered his name because he was beyond helpful! I still ended up driving the 45 minutes to purchase the $200 item. Hoping my next trip doesnt feel as though Im annoying someone.

Called main phone number to inquire about a particular product. Got transferred to the appropriate department. Phone rang several dozen times after which I was hung up on. Nice...not really.

Its a good store. With so many nice selections . But one of your workers here made me feel really uncomfortable. I wont say what he did but Ill just say that man was creepy

Order was exactly as I ordered online and pick up was efficient. Only small complaint is that even though there was no one in line for pick up before or after me, the associate handed me my pick up items and then asked me to go to self checkout or cashiers to purchase 10 items I had in my cart from in store shopping. This is not something I mind doing, but there seemed to be no apparent reason for me to do so other than he did not feel like checking me out.

Target customer service is always helpful. The entire sales staff that I have interacted with are so helpful.

If you’re coming here for electronics then the staff is great. Outside of electronic staff the service here IS TERRIBLE ! None of the workers want to help you if they feel like it’s not their job. They will only pass you off to someone else who is supposed to “Help” you but that only leads to more hostile customer service! Never again !!!!!

Went in looking for cloth face masks, that according to the target website, were IN-STOCK at this store. When I asked about them to an employee at the self-checkout, she was very rude and sent me to pharmacy. She didn’t even check if they were in stock on her machine. I went to pharmacy and was brushed off yet again. What does it take for a Target employee to confirm whether they have the mask in store?? Very rude and unprofessional employees!!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We went shopping for bikes today and were quite disappointed by Target. They had a decent selection of bikes on the wall, most up high that no one could reach. THE BIKES WERE ALL DISPLAYED WITHOUT PRICE TAGS AND LABELS!! So annoying, especially during the busy shopping season...

I just did today! Target has a nice selection of household items, personal items and clothes and grocery and my Target has recently added an optical and Starbucks. Everything you need, all in one place along with a 5% discount. Cant beat that.

The online ordering process was very routine. The pickup, however was smooth and efficient. The people there were friendly and very professional. The pricing on these items were competitive but the in-store pickup will keep me coming back

Staff are nice and the store is clean and well stocked. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad about visiting. Nice place to go shop and relax on a Saturday morning with coffee.
