Didnt have what I was looking for (gingham). Today the service was cold - except for the cashier, she was quite friendly.Generally very friendly service. They have much of what one would need in fabrics & sewing related as well as crochet... many other supplies.

I absolutely love joanns! They always have what Im looking for or know exactly where I can find it. the staff here is always willing to help and knowledgable about their products and different crafts.

I was visiting from Georgia and the staff was extremely nice. I gave a 4 because the selection of fancy fabrics was not very great. But I would go just because of the staff.

I havent been impressed with Hobby Lobbys or Walmarts yarn selection, to say the least. But Joanns had it all! Everything I could imagine, in every color imaginable - all at my fingertips 💗

The store is organized efficiently and clean, and employees are helpful but not overbearing. They seemed to be out of stock or low in stock in certain areas, but I think thats just the time were in.

Due to being understaffed, they were closed during what would be normal hours of operation. Saw many people walk up then walk away.

Had everything we needed. Well organized. Clean. Very friendly staff.It was not busy at all yet had to wait 15 minutes for fabric selections to be cut, otherwise would have given 5 ☆.

Friendy staff... The sweetest, extremely helpful young ladies (I think they go to school at UNA or something) Im not sure what there major in college is, but theyre making use of their performance and people skills. Its a pleasure to see young people working, showing respect and patience. God bless those two young woman. A lot of items were out of stock.what they do have they dont have many of just the lowest of stock.but its a good clean store..

Havent been in the store in a long time, went in today just to see what they have and I see Halloween EVERYTHING. I could spend every day in the store quite happily and not be bored 😂 cashier was very sweet and she was very helpful. Placed an order online chose curbside pickup. I followed instructions and called all day Saturday with no answer. Tried again on Sunday still no answer. I was unable to pick up my fabric which was very much needed at the time for mask. If Florence AL store does not have curbside pickup this should not be an option then.

Best place to get fabric in Florence. They always have really good sales and coupons, too. Just dont expect the staff to be super knowledgeable. And there is usually very few of them working, so its hard to get help anyway.

The store was very clean. I only saw one clerk though, and she was at the register. I am unfamiliar with this store, and did not have time to keep searching for a clerk.

I had to search for an associate to assist me. I rang the bell 3 times and Charlie finally came out of the backroom. I ask her to help me find the outdoor fabric. She said its over in the back corner. I went to look and didnt see it so I went and ask if she could come over and assist me. She walked quickly to it and said there it is and left me. I chose 4 bolts of fabric and carried it to be measured. It was 26 yards and very heavy, when I ask if she had a cart to help carry it to the front to pay she replied, no I dont they are up front. She never offered to help carry them. So I took all of them up and paid $450. to Amanda the cashier, and told her they were very heavy could she show me where the carts were, she pointed toward the door and.never offered any assistance. I was the only customer in the store at the time. I am a senior citizen and was shocked at the complete lack of customer service skills both of these young girls demonstrated. I suppose JoAnn s does not require their employees to assist the customers. I feel that some much needed customer service training is needed. I will take my business to another store in the future.

Absolutely terrible. Waited a month for a call back about yarn, went there once a week to inquire about it, got the same thing every time: Well give you a call when we get it. Will NOT be back. Learn how to run a store. Keep your customers happy; were the ones that make it possible for you to have a paycheck.

I have never been so disrespected and dismissed as a customer in my life. I am surprised this store is still operational after the lack of service and treatment I witnessed. The person that cuts fabric should find a new job because obviously she hates hers. Sorry JOANN that I had to put this out there but I was horrified by my visit to your store.

Lots of variety in most any craft you would be interested in.

Quality products and good service. Sale signs can be confusing on fabrics. Be sure to ask if it is included in sale before getting it cut

Great selection of crafts, I do usually take advantage of their online sales that offer some products they dont have in store but they have a very neat and put together store for crafting

I absolutely love Joanns because they offer coupons and you can always get a good deal on the items you need.There are a couple of issues I have and I agree with other reviewers - they do not do a very good job of keeping the cash registers staffed. There have been times Ive literally had to walk the store to try to find someone to check me out. This is a little irritating. However, the cashiers Ive dealt with have always been friendly and helpful.The other issue I have is their selection. At times, I find myself having to go to Hobby Lobby due to the lack of selection they have. Otherwise, I love this store!

The arts and crafts selection is very slim outside of sewing and decorating supplies. The store is always understaffed, so a quick checkout is unlikely. Staff is friendly. During summer the store is a sauna. Management should definitely be flogged.

I like it. Generally has what I need. It is the Florence store, so they dont always stock the nicer things or awesome things in the sale ad. They save that for their bigger stores. Keep that in mind.

Customer service and unfriendly staff will close Florence Alabama store. I only in go when I cant find what I need anywhere else.........many months later...staff is very friendly to me. I go in so much they know me and are very helpful.

Its a craft store. It smells like new plastic and chemicals. Their corporate stances are awful, but no one in their industry is really better or good. If what you need is craft supplies, theyll likely have it and at least they arent Hobby Lobby.

I called and was told they had the Rongrong sticker books. They didnt have them and I could not order them to the store location in Florence AL

I love JoAnn period for the diversity of craft supplies and super good sales and coupons but this JoAnn doesnt stock Happy Planner supplies as expected and doesnt get the full release they are supposed to according to the MAMBI video releases. The customer service is ok (hardly anyone smiles or knows what all is in the store) but no one is rude. I am so thankful for the one planner babe that works there . Oh and my daughters love the Slime supplies
